Great for the one night we stayed. Breakfast was really good. Check in was very easy and receptionist was helpful for recommendations.

Everything was good except the free breakfast. Coffee was great, but most cooked breakfast items were over done. Still it was good to have something for breakfast and, it was free!!

Breakfast was great. There are no good restaurants in the immediate area. We went to the local seafood place and they had no wine, no beer, so we left. Ate at Applebees which was not too bad but clearly they don’t have enough staff. Will never stop in Macon again.

For people with mobility issues the shower was difficult to use. It would be vastly improved by being walk-in and not tub, and the absence of grab bars is a safety issue. If nothing else, set aside some rooms for these guests.

It was an overnight trip on the way to Florida. There were more items at breakfast than I anticipated. It was decent.

Shower walls were dirty, and the light over the shower was not working. Lukewarm shower at best. The bathroom sink was cracked and the counter seems to be removed and repaired with 12 pounds of caulk that looks like it was squeezed out of a tootpate tube. The air conditioner was loud and never cooled the room off completely.

Very clean, recently updated, big nice rooms with nice bedding. This is off a major street so it's quiet. Breakfast is "better than most hotel breakfasts" with a fun pancake maker for the kids. Only minor complaint, they seemed to have scrimped on the insulation from bathroom to room, and the door had a substantial gap to let light and potential noise from the hallway in. However, this was very quiet when we stayed so noise in the hallway wasn't a problem.

The front desk was darling and hospitable when they greeted me. There are nice sensibly furnished rooms. I love the luggage benches that are built in instead of luggage racks. Little things like jacket hooks and fully stocked coffee made the experience lovely. The design was cute too. In the morning there were some low carb and healthy options as well. Excellent experience.

My only complaint is that they did not have any gluten free items for breakfast. I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express hotels before and they did accommodate Gluten Free. This hotel did not and that was a serious disappointment.

We had a big puddle by our window bed. No towels until we asked. Stains on top bed cover. Didn't look lol ke room should have been rented. Also had fumes from outside vehicles come in through air conditioner. Had to turn it off it was so bad. No refund offered. Said sorry, they let management no.

If the clerk checking us in would have gotten off her phone to greet us or talked to us instead of the person on her phone who apparently was more important than guest paying. She was still on her phone 1hour later when we went to eat.

Everything was fine, the pancake machine was broken. The pancakes were the reason my kids picked this over Hampton. It was just disappointing that it was broken.

When we checked in we were told they no longer had the King we reserved but w e could have the "upgraded" Queen double for no extra fee. I did not mention they were the same price online when I reserved. But no problem. The room and facility were Ok. Room was clean. But the hotel community spaces were kind of grungy. Fingerprints everywhere. Elevator and halls were gross. Room smelled stale and try as we might, we could not adjust the A/C. It ran all night. But still smelled stale the next morning. Again, the room was clean but we didn't want to touch any public places.

It was a quick overnight stay and was a great stay. Our shower/ tub didn’t have hot water. We arrived late so didn’t bother to contact anyone. Disappointing but those things do happen. Other than that, the stay was fine!

I’m not sure if it was because our room was an Expedia blocked off room or the entire place is like this but the room wasn’t clean. Stained bedspread, mold in bathroom. Dirty tile and corners of floor in bathroom were not clean. The public areas were fine. Looked like a remodel job done poorly in our room.

It was a nice hotel. Spacious room. The gentleman that checked me in wasn’t as attentive. He was focused on a football game in the lobby. Then my key didn’t work for my room. Other than that it was pleasant for a leisure stay.

Moreover, the air conditioning in the room was blowing cold air even setting heat at 79! AC broke. The quilt cover was dirty. Nightmare experience. Absolutely unacceptable! This is not Days Inn!

Facility is clean, the beds are comfortable, but the girl that checked us in had the attitude of someone who was past the point of caring about anything. No smile, no politeness, no warmth, nothing. Just the bare necessary questions to get you checked in and away from her desk. Like the property itself, but management needs to do something about the staff.

Needs upgrade of plumbing & bath infrastructure

Room was in bad shape. Electrical outlet popped out of wall. Faucet in shower wasn't fully attached. More water came out of bottom spout than shower head. In morning pancake machine was out of order.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by several carpet cleaning crews and their equipment stationed in the lobby, which felt unwelcoming. The elevator was gross with finger marks all over the stainless and the floor was dirty. Once we reached our room, we noticed a funky smell and found the space to be dusty. The sheets were stained, and overall, the room did not meet basic cleanliness standards. Had the elevator, lobby, and room been clean and fresh, our stay could have been much more enjoyable. While the property has its positives, including the location and some modern touches, the lack of attention to cleanliness made the experience feel average at best.

Rather unexpectedly, our room wasn't vacuumed and was dirty.

First off I give five stars to the staff, called the day before and talked with Shameka over the phone to add a person name to the reservation because we were arriving at different time. She was so pleasant and made transition easy. She was also there when my friend arrived and remembered the phone call and my name. The morning reception Denaga was also super pleasant, and helped me with the spelling of Shameka name. Nice breakfast and a very comfortable bed. The reason I did not give the Holiday Inn five stars is because of the bathroom, the floor has not been cleaned in awhile and the bathtub had scum all over it which has not been cleaned for months.

I have never complained about a hotel before. This place is disgusting. Even inside the elevator was disgusting. You could see how dirty it was like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. The walls were even disgusting. The bathroom was filthy. I didn’t even want to step on the floor of the bathroom barefoot. The shower walls were disgusting. I expect there to me a few spots missed when I go to a hotel, but this place should be ashamed of themselves as to how unclean it was. The bathroom also didn’t have a blow dryer which is standard to have one in Holiday Inns, and no bottles of water in the room to even purchase. I will never stay here again. It needs new management. Absolutely disgusting.

We were staying for the night to attend a show in Macon. I love the Holiday Inn Express brand so it was an easy pick. The staff were great. My only concern was it needed update and the breakfast was not the delicious breakfast I normally receive with this brand. Overall still a good pick.

Arrived at the hotel around 3:30pm to check in. When I arrived I was informed by the front desk that my room had been cancelled. I book this in advance and was never made aware that this was cancelled. There was a wedding party at the hotel so they gave my room away to another guest. I asked to speak with the manager but she had already left…the front desk called her but she just yelled at the employee on the phone. Not happy at all after driving several hours to get to this hotel. Extremely unprofessional!

Crumbs, dirt and grass on floor and couch, sheets were clean but stained in some areas. Carpet was pretty sticky. And definitely in a sketchy area. Loud being on the 1st floor by the lobby and gym.

Hot water did not work in room unless you ran bath and sink at same time which took us about 45 minutes to figure out. Hard to contact front desk but they couldn't do anything about it anyway. Could not give refund because it was booked third party which is just ridiculous!

My family of 5 booked this while traveling, the hotel room was fine. However, when we arrived at 2:30 a.m. we had to stand and wait at the front desk for nearly an hour before we could check in and get door keys. There was no one to be found in the building. Both myself, and my husband checked everywhere, even in the employee lounge/office areas. This was extremely frustrating due to the fact that we had an infant and two other small children who desperately wanted to go to sleep in a bed, and were crying. We even attempted to call the hotel multiple times while standing in the lobby, with no response each time. Another guest also came in to check in, and had to wait also. We paid $172 for one night, and we will not be returning due to the lack of service from the staff.

The room was ok. I killed a spider in our room, sheets were stained. Location was no ideal but the room was quiet. Stain on the floor in the bathroom as well. I requested to change my form of payment and the lady did not know how to do that.

Bed sheets had not been changed!; room smelled musty & moldy. Staff immediately moved us to another room & apologized which is why I gave 4 stars for staff but otherwise, I would not believe the “reviews” listed. Second room had residue in tub where it had not been properly cleaned & shower head, faucet were loose. Overall rating: poor. Chose this hotel based on reviews & because we had a wonderful experience in Jacksonville, FL at a HIE. The housekeeping staff at the FL HIE were even cleaning the walls of the elevators from top to bottom! Mopped cafe area everyday; cleaned ice makers & rooms everyday. Old is one thing, dirty is another.

We stopped for the night since we were driving through. Everything was fine until we wanted to lock the door and found they were working on the door jambs. The lock bolt had a lot of play which was worry some and it was not mentioned by the front. It did lock but there was a lot of play and looked like it could be pried.

Nice hotel near the Macon amphitheater. The two sisters who work at the front desk are super nice and accommodating. I will stay here again next time I go to a concert in Macon
