Reviews
The Holiday Isles Resort in Madeira Beach, Florida, is generally praised for its excellent location, clean and comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of certain rooms and the noise level from the air conditioning units.
- Excellent location across the street from the beach
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Inconsistent cleanliness of rooms
- Noisy air conditioning units

Pool was decent. For the price definitely not worth it.

The room was clean. The door was very hard to open and close. It was hitting the door jam. The bed was very hard and the couch was very uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Resinable rates, walking distance to st. John's Pass
- 4.5/5
Clean, friendly, helpful, easy access to surrounding areas, restaurants, and beaches. Wish the bathroom had more counter space and exhaust fan.

It was a great deal from booking.com. Unfortunately, I have a decades long problem of stalkers who attack me with Neuro-weapons in an effort to slow-kill me as well as steal from me or take advantage of my booking by taking payment twice. They did not make me pay twice; it’s just that I cannot say they returned the $75 security deposit. See above

Very nice staff, and was able to check in early.

A1 room and location

The rooms are in need of repairs and multiple guests were smoking marijuana in their rooms and smoking cigarette while swimming in the pool.

Hot water did not work, so had to take cold showers. Small cockroaches in room. Staff not helpful when extra towels needed . Only 2 towels in the room. Tons of added fees not listed on Expedia website . Was in good location near restaurants and beach. Pool was decent. Tv did not work either
- 0.5/5
They manager was disrespectful and racist. The room was falling apart and dated. The resort should be called a motel at best The property looked like a rat hotel. Towels were limited and looked dirty.. When you enter the receptionist lobby it’s like entering a jail where you have the inmate talking to you through a bullet proof window. There was nowhere to site and the person behind the glass who claimed to be the manager was wearing sun glasses like someone who was stoned.

So not what I expected. But should have known.Rooms were ok. Bathrooms very small. Beds were comfortable but mattresses sit On a sheet metal frame that ‘pops’ when you get in or out of it. Can’t get ice unless you go down to the front office, which was locked when I went to get ice. Limited parking in the rear of the building. Overall, I would not recommend unless you’re looking for a cheap stay in Madiera.

The pool was nice, the location was great, the value was very good. The other guest were pleasant. I would stay again. Among all the expensive hotel, condos, and AirBnB's I would stay here again. While this place isn't fancy and may lack some of the usual amenities, it was affordable, and had a great location. The Reef next door is a great restaurant. The beds could have been way more comfortable. Maybe a microwave in the room, and the shower was dark. I also typically stay at places that have a hot tub with the pool.

Fabio at the front desk was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. He explained everything in a very practical and easy way, making the entire check-in process smooth and welcoming. Customer service like his really makes a difference. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We also had a great experience with the housekeeping staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful when we accidentally left our key inside the room and they kindly assisted us right away. The pool was another highlight — a great size, very clean, and perfect for relaxing. The entire property has a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. We absolutely loved this place and are already looking forward to coming back very soon. Highly recommended!

A mi en lo particular me encantó e un lugar bien tranquilo muy cerca de la playa y una zona muy agradable y tranquila

Didn’t refund my money even when they wouldn’t let me stay on the property bc there was more than one car
- 1/5
I work at a hotel and I can say that we never charge for customers to pay for parking. We also have front desk person 24-7. Will not be back to Holiday Isles Resort
- 0.5/5
pool was ok but not my fav bedding was severely uncomfortable to my liking
- 5/5
Great hotel. The beds are quite hard, but very nice rooms. I don't agree with having to pay to park our truck, because we are paying to stay. Overall good experience we are booked for the 4th of July weekend.
- 1/5
Toilet was none working the entire time and I was told by front desk they are fully booked and don’t care. They truly do not care.
- 4/5
I few minor things…no ice or vending machine. Plastic cover on mattress was annoying. Went out to the pool at 6:30 am, gates were locked.
- 1/5
The pool area Dirty shower area My sister was going to sleep on the pull out couch, the mattress was nasty. She didn’t use it. In the am when I showed him the pictures, he asked if I tried to turn it over , no way would either of us , sleep on that mattress. Then I had asked for sheets for the pull out before we had opened it. The gentleman at the desk handed me a bin with bedding, I explained I’m 76 years old, I can’t carry it up. He did bring it up. The Shower was dirty .

The room was not very clean all the towels and blankets were stained and the towel rack in the restroom was broken and just put back on , the shower had stains like it was not cleaned right and the restroom was not cleaned as well just looked like they did a 2 min swipe over everything and moved on. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be coming back . I didn’t receive my deposit back because the floors were not mopped up but besides that everything was swept and picked up . Left the dirty towels in a corner. Kind of did the beds which I technically don’t have to but chose to because I wanted to be nice but definitely never again. No wonder it’s cheap next time I will pay more money for a better hotel .

Everything
- 1/5
The room felt dirty, they were very outdated and both TVs in the living room and in the bedroom did not work. Very loud neighbors, one man was drunk and was shouting all night long at people, swearing and stumbling. I felt very unsafe to the point where we switched hotels in the middle of the night because this place was that bad. Would not recommend
- 4/5
thing. Bathroom was small no where to even put a tooth brush. The one 12 inch towel holder was coming out of the wall so couldn't us it. But, it was a very comfortable bed. The office people barely spoke english. Across from the beach with a public access was good. Said 6 minutes walk to Johns Pass. If I could run it was farther than that.
- 4/5
More room to hang towels to dry.
- 1/5
I will never stay there again for many reasons. Not only did they not have simple amenities like plastic cups or a hair dryer, but I have never been so insulted or rudely treated by hotel staff/owner…. and I am a frequent traveler and has stayed at many hotels internationally and nationally. We picked this place as a last resort after our overnight fishing trip was cancelled. The next morning we were to check out but asked if we could either go to the beach or pool and leave our car parked. The lady at the desk said it was ok. We just went to the pool (we were the only ones there). We talked about staying another night as our trip was through Sunday and we didn’t want to move our stuff. Well they were booked so we sat down in the shade to find another place. We were quiet, not doing anything but calling around to find a hotel….we were the only ones around, and the guy at the desk came out and told us that we had to vacate the premises! Said the owner was watching us on the camera and that we were checked out and had to leave! I could see if we were creating a disturbance or if the pool area was full but none of this was true. I have stayed in the area often and it is not uncommon for hotels to let you use their amenities or go to the beach after you have checked out especially if parking is not an issue and it wasn’t in this case. Will never do business there again….ever.
- 3/5
Negatives-rooms are overpriced, TV’s work intermittently and the guests smoke weed outside their rooms every day. The Positives-the pool area is nice and well equipped with chairs and umbrellas. Overall a decent stay for an overnight but not an extended getaway. Spend a little more and stay across the street.
- 5/5
Clean room! Great location!
- 4/5
Tip: Book directly through hotel or they charge an extra parking fee.
- 4/5
No beach view but 5 min walk. Pets allowed but fee and no dog area noted.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
The room was not very clean . Mold in the shower ,stained sheets. Water was lukewarm.
- 3/5
Room had no windows and was dirty. Spiders in the bathroom and stains all over the bedding. Only a small tiny one towards the back of the room. Looks like an old apartment turned hotel room. Tv has no channels or any options to watch anything. Staff interaction was short and odd to say the least. No beach view, no pool view. Small tiny kitchen with a refrigerator from the 90’s. Definitely not worth the price. Worth 50 a night at the most. I left and found a place down the street for the night. Won’t be back. All the 10/10 reviews have to be fake about this place.
- 1/5
I would never stay there again.
- 2/5
Rented a queen studio that sleeps 3 ppl there no blankets or pillows for the second bed. Went to the office at 859 and there was no one there, called 2x as they said they were open until 11pm. No hot water for showers at 8am, our neighbours complained to us about it too. Both beds were hard as a rock. Do not recommend this place for $240US and $15 for parking. Disappointing!!
- 4/5
No beach view pool was nice
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay very much. Renovated rooms, clean, nice staff. No continental breakfast but excellent restaurant next door.
- 4/5
The kids and I had an excellent experience while staying at this resort by the beach for 2 nights. The room was clean and workers were very friendly.
- 3/5
The room was clean and the guy at the front desk was friendly but we had to pay $15 for parking and there was not any open spots. They did take down a chain to make a spot for us but it was the only spot available. Parking was behind the hotel and we had to drive 2 blocks and down a side street to get to it. The bed was rock hard. I think the floor might have been softer. It wasnt the worst stay we have ever had but it was a little uncomfortable. However, it was cheap and you get what you pay for.
- 3/5
Fit our needs
- 2/5
Mold was apparent on ac unit and wall in bathroom . Got charged $15 extra for parking which was not stated in listing. They also charge you extra per person for more than 2 people though room says sleeps 4.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff! Overall great stay!
- 4/5
No beach view. It's across the street which was okay. We booked for ground floor but they said didn't have any available. I even called and was told no problem for ground floor. Until we got there and we ended up having a 2nd floor.
- 3/5
I had booked a last minute room since drive back home was too bad due to traffic , this was one of the cheapest around the area and yes i kno i should of known cheapest is never the way to go , but also it was 140 the night soo not too cheap lol anyways , staff was great no issues with that but he gave us a room and keys didnt work and then he changed our room and upgraded for the inconvenience, room was nice and clean but man those beds are like sleeping on the floor , they were soo hard i woke up with a sore back and so did everyone else , also there was no soap or shampoos or conditioner thankfully we had some our selfs since we were going to wash off at the beach before heading home , if they upgrade mattress and put out soaps it would be a nice place to stay comparing to other places oh and yeah the surprise of paying 15$ to pay for parking in there own parking lot was kinda crazy but had no choice then .
- 4/5
The hotel boasts an excellent location right on the seafront, close to pet-friendly restaurants. The cleanliness is good; the room is simple but very nice—the bed, in particular, was perfect—and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The only downside was that there was a lot of noise coming from the adjacent room during the night. There were two men at the front desk: one young and one older. The younger man was very friendly, but the other was extremely unpleasant; he behaved poorly toward us, lacked patience, and was rude. If it weren't for that gentleman, I would have given the hotel 5 stars.
- 5/5
Close to the beach
- 1/5
Bed was terrible shower kept flooding toilet didn’t work was not worth what we paid
- 4/5
Yes
- 3/5
No beach view
- 5/5
Room was clean and stuff was amazing
- 3/5
No hangers in closet, TV did not work , bathroom door latch was not functioning so we could not shut the door properly. Asked for late check out but was denied. We checked in late and got charged $25 fee which we knew ahead of time however still is unnecessary. The bed made a loud thud sound when getting up and down. Lastly, there was no ice machine in the property even tho u get an ice bucket. Overall it was fine for the price. These were minor things. It’s a great location to access beach and a few cool bars and restaurants.
- 5/5
Beach view mostly obstructed by other buildings, parking lot down and across the road provided a good view. Pet friendly max weight 43 lbs.... Not a high end resort but excellent for the cost, and accommodating.
- 5/5
Great location and place, definitely would come back.
- 5/5
The room was bigger than expected. Very clean! Only disappointed that the pool wasn't heated
- 3/5
Was not what I expected drive around to the back of the place parking room was OK will not be returning
- 1/5
Booked 2 family suites for 6 people in each room. Both rooms were supposed to have pull out couch beds but only one did and the staff only said “I will see if I can find one and bring it to the room”. Shower was absolutely gross and slimy. Pool not heated. Room only had 3 towels and wash cloths for 6 registered guests and never did get anymore brought to rooms as promised There is absolutely no beach/water view
- 5/5
Location was perfect, value for your money. Clean and simple for a long weekend stay!
- 2/5
Rooms not clean. Room assignment was wrong on check in
- 4/5
Rooms was good. Plenty of room. Cleaning staff was great
- 4/5
Staff location price
- 2/5
Charged us quite a bit more than the already paid for room rate. Coffee maker in room, no cups. Shower looked gross
- 5/5
Spacious room, nice check in staff, across the street from the beach, comfortable bed.
- 4/5
The front desk was very helpful and curtious. The room was clean, but not fancy at all. The bathroom was tiny. The pool area was very nice and the location was safe and within walking distance to most things needed. The bar and grill next door was excellent in quality and quantity.
- 4/5
Staff was freindly
- 5/5
We had a wonderful 6 day stay at Holiday Isle. It was a great location, the staff was very courteous, & very clean rooms. The pool area was great. I just left & can't wait to go back. Thank you Holiday Isle Resort! Darla from room 24! See you again...

- 5/5
Wonderful place thank you
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Nice pool.
- 3/5
The rooms are small and dated. No beach view. Nice pool.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice! Even let us check in early
- 2/5
Avoid this mistrusting annoying place. I may have over rated this joint
- 5/5
The couple of negatives was the air conditioner in the bed room didn’t seem to work very well but it wasn’t that warm out when we stayed. The bed was a little extra firm . Some people like that but we prefer to have a little give on the mattress when we lay down in bed .
- 5/5
Clean and staff was friendly
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful
- 5/5
Very nice staff. Will return
- 5/5
Was there just one night but would stay again.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Beds were very firm Shower was luke warm at best But oberall a good stay
- 5/5
The guy in office was amazing!
- 1/5
It’s not a horrible place to stay. But if you do stay there just expect to not get what you asked for. I asked for more pillows, and I was told he would bring them back in a few minutes. I never got the pillows. The door to my room had massive cracks in it so it was letting all the heat/ lizards inside the room. The front office is always locked and nobody answers sometimes. I went down there several times to ask for trash bags and 6 out of 7 times no one was in the office. When I seen someone outside of the office I asked him and finally on the 3rd time I got trash bags. The pool might only be heated to maybe 65 degrees, if that. The pillows that you originally get in the room are completely flat. And the shower definitely could’ve been cleaned better.
- 2/5
There was a dorm size refrigerator and a microwave. No olates utensils paper towels cofffe or filters
- 5/5
This stay was great
- 3/5
Beach access. Room clean and good temp control. Could not get hot water for shower. Sinks both drained slowly. Small bathroom
- 1/5
I'm disgusted and disappointed with property management thinking that a fresh coat of paint will just cover that up. BLACK MOLD IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!! I have multiple pictures and a video. I'm requesting a full refund and also any holds on my debit card be removed IMMEDIATELY.
- 4/5
Good place to stay. Pet friendly. Good location. Inexpensive
- 3/5
No beach view. No linens for the pullout futon. No hangers.
- 3/5
Loved decor, new beds, tables, floors and pool furniture. Staff, Tony very good.
- 5/5
We had a very nice room - Definitely recommend the bigger units with the kitchen. We paid for parking for the days we were there and everything was close by. Everything was very clean considering the area was hit by a hurricane a year ago.
- 5/5
Pet friendly. Beach and water are perfect. Food: check Angry Pepper for some great smoked meats, Osaka for Asian food, and the Reef Bar. Great place if you’re coming fishing with your kayak or jet ski. They have nice parking and wash down water connection (bring your hose). I’d give it a 9/10 only because I’m used to foam mattress.
- 5/5
Beautiful property
- 5/5
Super friendly staff and beautiful rooms! Will definitely b staying here again!
- 1/5
The room had black mold coming out of the walls and the bathroom was awful. We left after 12 hours when my throat got sore and I started coughing. Bed was like laying on a piece of plywood. The room was advised as newly renovated because of the hurricanes last year. Apparently they just covered up the problem with paint which does not work!
- 5/5
Excellent stay thank you
- 5/5
Comfy and great location
- 4/5
Nice place. Close to beach. Friendly
- 5/5
Nice and relaxing. Professional manager.
- 3/5
Has to pay fifteen dollars extra on bills for parking, where every where else is free parking and no breakfast which website need to be updated. Was all false advertising.
- 1/5
Toilet TV broken no phone no internet wifi bad host
- 1/5
My neighbors were loud & up all night yelling. There was a great amount of mold & mildew in the shower.
- 5/5
The room was awesome!! The place is amazing!! We will be back thank you!!!
- 5/5
The staff was somehow a little abrupt at times, but quite helpful.
- 5/5
It was an absolutely terrific 5star level of old Florida classy to me.
- 3/5
Place was simply ok. Older and could use a Reno. Great location.
- 1/5
Couldn't check in
- 5/5
It was a nice place to stay, there was an issue with the booking apparenrly when ee booked through expedia it allowed us to book a room that was one bed and one pull out sofa for 3 people apparenrly was only meant for two. They still allowed us to stay but apparnelty ut should not allow us and a small child to stay in a room that size.
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean and close to many amenities at the beach. Staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs
- 3/5
Was charged $15/night for parking. The expedia website states" the price you see is the price you'll pay".
- 2/5
Is no bad but need more clean bed and in the shower no space dispenser for soap
- 4/5
no
- 5/5
Great quaint little beach place. Perfectly situated right across the street. Easy to walk around. Felt like family. They were very nice
- 5/5
Great price and close to everything. Walkable to restaurants and beach.
- 5/5
Very serene.
- 5/5
Happy Summer .
- 1/5
It was filthy everywhere. Given a dirty room. Refused a refund. Rude and unprofessional staff. Do not stay here.
- 4/5
Good location. Easy beach access. Best breakfast place right next door.
- 5/5
Love the Holiday Isle. Got to stay in one of the new downstairs rooms. Super close to the beach and walkable to several bars and places to eat. Always my go to in Madeira. New reception area looks great. Property is always very well kept.
- 5/5
Easy check in and out. Beach right across the street. The Reef restaurant next door. Anthony was a great help and made sure all our needs were met.
- 5/5
Clean well stocked and close to the beach. Nice place. Great pool also
- 5/5
Great stay close to beach
- 4/5
Better than expected, property right across the street from the beach with tons of restaurants and shops in the area.
- 5/5
Nice spot.
- 4/5
Anthony was very helpful and accommodating.
- 3/5
Room was remodeled but done poorly. Wires spliced together outside. Cords running up the wall and hung over the mirror. Bathroom was very small and had no storage and we used window to store all of our stuff. Faucets were tricky to get shut completely off. Resort got busy and streaming tv was no longer available. No one to call for assistance so had to wait for staff to arrive the next morning. Was told to use antenna due to "too many people to stream" on the internet service they had. We booked last minute and went with what was available so for that reason it was good. It was clean and pool was great. Within walking distance to restaurants and stores for supplies. Short walk across street to beach.
- 4/5
The gentleman that checked me in was very nice and showed me around. Even let us check out late because we were tired. I definitely would stay there again and would recommend it.
- 3/5
Cameras everywhere , front desk was curt and somewhat rude, it was a crash pad for us as everything else was sold out. Sofas looked stained and old , very very basic
- 1/5
I booked a studio which said it sleeps 3. Originally it was suppose to be my husband and I. Last minute we had to take our toddler. When the gentlemen at the front desk asked i explained it was 3 instead of 2. He said because of insurance purposes we wouldnt be able to stay there and moved us to a different room. No hot water and barely any water pressure.
- 2/5
Not at expected for a resort
- 1/5
to pay anyway. No place to put anything not enough outlets. Horrible bed, blanket and pillows I should be refunded.
- 1/5
Total scam. We booked and paid for our room on date of arrival, We were charged a fee for “late check in”. In more than. 30 years of extensive travel as an adult, this was a first. Ironically the last time I would stay at this property.
- 3/5
Staff are rude. Even tried speaking Spanish. The towel girls are friendly and i was just kind anyway, to those still being rude.
- 1/5
Staff guy very rude. Yelled at me and saw him yelling and cussing at other guests.
- 3/5
Pillows on bed had a bad smell to them
- 5/5
My recent stay at Holiday isles resort was truly memorable! From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed. The location was also perfect, within easy walking distance of many attractions. The overall experience was outstanding, and I highly recommend Holiday isles resort to anyone visiting the area.
- 2/5
Zero hospitality from staff. They were very rude at check in. Also worth mentioning they advertise free parking through Expedia, but only offer it for those who booked directly through them. I was charged $15 per day for parking even after showing them it was advertised for free. Manager indicated he didn't care if he was false advertising. Horrible staff.
- 1/5
Management was absolutely rude ignorant and unprofessional
- 5/5
A no-frills beach hotel conveniently located
- 5/5
The property is extremely clean & comfortable & the office personell were awesome!!!
- 3/5
Room was very clean. Pool was right outside and inviting. Beach only 5 minute walk away. Bed was too hard and pillows were like pancakes. Not comfortable. Didn’t care for the fact you had to pay additional for parking in the motel lot.
- 4/5
Great location across the street from the Gulf of America. Easy walk to stores, restaurants and bars. Nice pool area.
- 2/5
LOTS OF NOISE from front office and customers hollering.lots of pot smoke ALL over. Misrepresentation is big here. No beach front. No beach view. Parking off site. Would not stay again
- 5/5
The property was great for a quick trip, staff was very helpful, will book again
- 5/5
People, keep in mind these businesses were devastated due to Hurricanes!! Everyone is just starting to come back. Be kind, Have patience and give to the community. These people and businesses took a huge loss!!
- 4/5
Some of the furniture was very hard in good shape but hard
- 5/5
I would recommend this property to every body
- 5/5
Holiday Isles is a hidden gem for those seeking a tranquil beach vacation. This charming hotel offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle, with its serene atmosphere and idyllic location. The hotel's diverse room options adds to its appeal. The property is well-maintained, and the attention to detail is evident throughout.
- 5/5
Very nice we stood another day at a. Amazing price it has everything restaurants right next door., it's in a perfect location!! We love it thank you!!!
- 2/5
Place is dated, sloppy, had to pay additional fees for parking, no room service, pictures make it look better than it is
- 5/5
The pool and the room was clean, the office was incredible responsive. Every room had a TV and plenty of room! Parking was close and the beach was directly across the street!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel
- 1/5
40 dollar parking plus additional resort fee and multiple holds on card
- 4/5
Great location with beach across the street and shops in walking distance
- 1/5
Upon checking in, the gentleman worker was confrontational with us, didn’t want to accept cash for parking because he thought the owner would think he was ripping him off. The door to our room, no matter what is written back DID NOT lock! We deadbolted it and then someone from outside walked right in. There was NEVER a key needed to get into our room. The couch was horrendously stained. There was a musty smell and the “parking around the back” was questionable at best. Beware of this place there is no refunds given! You book pay and that’s it. Read the reviews and believe the bad ones. They want your money and that’s it! They do not care about their place or your safety. Find somewhere else. If you want a video of us walking through a deadbolted door just ask .
- 2/5
Upon check in the clerk was nice, then someone was banging on the office door with not much clothing on. The clerk said that person isn’t even staying at the hotel. Person banging in door was hanging around all night loud and other lots other people who appeared to not be guest. They was in and out all hours very loudly. Shower curtain had around 2 inches of mold on the bottom. The toilet was super wobbly when sat on our TV didn’t work we informed. The clerk that our TV didn’t work, he went and did something then come back and it was working when I went to check out. I let them know of the conditions and they said oh well we’ll look into it didn’t offer a discount didn’t offer anything I paid $189 For this room and this room was definitely not worth that

Check in guy was obviously stressed. Maybe it was a bad day for him. Or maybe that's just who he is. Either way, not the vibe you want to feel upon checking in while on vacation. Quirky place and area of Madeira Beach overall. We will find a different place though if ever back in the area.

Booked a bungalow with a kitchen. Nothing was stocked. No pans, plates or utensils. Paid for a kitchen we couldn't use.

Just a few Steps to the beach! Quiet around property.

Run! Run!! Run! The place is disgusting and the staff is rude. My wife injured herself walking up a set of stairs and when I asked if the hotel had any medical supplies I was told No and given a frozen water bottle as an ice pack. The room was filthy, there was a used loofa in the shower as well as used bandaids on the bathroom floor. Plenty of better options in the area unless you want to contract some disease.

Great all around.

There was a lot of neighbors making a lot of noise so it caused a dog to bark.

Do NOT book here! They will steal your money! My children didn’t want to stay there after seeing the property, which don’t look like the photos, It felt very unsafe! The morning I was supposed to check in I informed Anthony of this situation and asked for the charge to be refunded and they canceled my reservation and re rented it out again. Then Maria and Joseph both refused to return my calls and emails so I got no room for nearly $700 with no explanation.

This is a gear lottle "Old Florida" type resort. It is truly an original. We were able to book last minute. The room was recently redone (due to damage from the fall 2024 storms). So nice and clean. Small kitchenette, unfortunately no counterspace. But there is good size dinning table that would work in a pinch. Outaide chairs to sit and visit with your neighbors and a lively feeling of welcome from everyone. Didnt use the pool, but we saw workers cleaning it in the morning, a touch up during the day and again at night before they closed it. Staff were very helpful. We would stay again.

Great place to stay near the beach

The thing I didn’t like was being charge $15 a day for Paul and when you have an extra person in the room, it’s $40 a day when you rent a room for four people or five people that you should not be charged, but the manager was wonderful Anything I asked for he gave me.

Just sttayed for 1 night. Hardest bed i have ever slept on. Felt like a wooden ply board. The ac work great was very cold.

Hot water takes a very long time to warm up and bath drains back up while you’re showing. Staff helpful. Seems to be people living on the property. Love the location to the beach and there is a great restaurant next door

The manger is an amazing person. We had a great talk in the lobby, he remembered me from my stay there last year. He even upgraded our room which was very generous. It was during spring break so the gate in and out of the complex seemed to be opening and slamming into the late hours which could be heard through the hotel. It served it's purpose for us which was a bed to rest in between days of our daughter's softball tournament.

Friendly staff, room was clean and well kept, peaceful great stay!

The staff here is great. Anthony checked me in and got me in early. He was very busy but was exceptionally pleasant. The place is simple but clean and well located. The Reef Bar and Grill is right next door-great vibe!

nice hotel & staff. Gorgeous beach across the street.

No hot water

The room was not very clean and the shower curtain fell down just after taking a shower. This motel is conveniently located directly across a busy street from the beach so the location is good, but the property is fairly rundown and in need of some repairs.

No hot water and laundry machines were not available.

At $330 per night for three nights, we expected at least basic comfort, but the stay was awful. If we hadn't paid so much it was almost comical. The beds were extremely hard, and the shower never got hot, fluctuating between cold and lukewarm. The bathroom outlet had burn marks, and the outlet near the bed was coming out of the wall, which was a safety hazard. The bedding was stained, and both the bathroom and kitchen were dirty—none of which was shown in the online images. The room was never turned over during our stay, and the towels had iron stains, which added to the overall lack of cleanliness. We understand that the area was affected by a hurricane and that many hotels were working to reopen. However, they should have ensured each room was in acceptable condition before moving on to fix others. Instead, it felt like they rushed to fill bookings without making sure the rooms were actually livable. The condition of the hotel seems to have changed significantly since then, so if you're researching hotels, make sure to check the most recent reviews instead of relying on outdated ratings. Awful. Clearly, Expedia doesn't have quality control.

Love that the hotel was close to the beach and walking distance to the shops.

Cute classic beach motel

The staff went above and beyond to help me check in asap due to task I had at hand. Hopefully next stay heater will be running due to back to back hurricanes. It’s amazing the place is open. My room was all new and comfy Thanks again Holiday Isle Staff 👍

This was a nice place and was just remodeled from the hurricane but it was very dirty from the remodel. It seemed no one came in and did a cleanup from the construction crew. A lot of drywall dust in the bathroom that turned into mud after showering. We did enjoy the location, the pool and and the restaurant rright next door!

They screwed me and charge to park on their own property. Bad business. The toilets didn't flush no hot water the sink drain was all blocked up. A Dump to the highest degree

Small black hairs all over bed. No ice machine. Key card would not work at 4am. Paid $15 for parking spot & zero avaliable when I arrived. Ran shower for ten minutes to get hot water.

I thought the rooms were clean but had a smutty smell. We had to stop at Walmart to get air freshers and the bathrooms needed some upgrades. The fixtures were old in the showers and the tile on the floor need redone. The showers wall were newly done. The bed was not the most comfortable but it was not the worst. Sheets on bed was clean and the location was great for walking to the beach. Anthony at the front desk was very nice and helpful. All in all for a place to lay your head it was not too bad.

Older property that needs to be updated. People smoking at tables outside of doors along breeze way. Room supplies had to be requested at desk. Parking charge seemed over the top. Not good value even the cost charged.
- 3/5
The room was clean and recently updated due to hurricane Helene. The staff is friendly and helpful. Attention to detail could be improved. Hot water was almost nonexistent.
- 4/5
We love Madeira beach and have been many times. I understand they are struggling after the 2024 hurricanes, but $200 /nt for this room, and the lack of cleanliness and amenities are not gonna help. Oh, and they charge you an extra $16 to park. The pool looked very nice though. And the bed was comfortable.

The curtains did not cover the bedroom window. The coffee pot cord not long enough to plug in. There was no plug for it on counter. You had to put it on floor to reach a plug. The shower had no shower head - only a pipe. No hangers in either closet. The security lock on door did not work. Charged for parking to park behind motel in alleyway- no security- very dark. I asked for some compensation at checkout-was told owner was probably at church- they would read my complaints on Monday and get back to me. They did not. The next day we saw that 4 police cars were in Their lot for some reason we do not know. I would never stay here again.
