Hi View Inn & Suites

Owner was very accommodating and pleasant. We have stayed here every time we come out to Manhattan Beach.

We had a friendly and quick late-night check-in. The room was basic, and not large, but very clean and suitable for our purposes at a reasonable price, and parking was free and easy. We will return when next in the area.

Stay there all the time . Close to beach

Loved the parking and the room was nice and clean and newly remodeled I would think. They actually had a tv you could use with dtv. The only things I would recommend are better pillows and definately better toilet paper!

Location was good and close to drive to the beaches. A pool or hot tub would be nice but not available

This is essentially a roadside motel. Clean enough and comfortable. A solid 7. Nothing special but nothing terrible either.

Great stay room was very clean and parking was convenient.

Very small room with a great bathroom. Needs a chair somewhere. Moved from a roadside room to the back because of road noise. No food or coffee in case walking distance, but back a 20 minute walk. Would not rate it an 8.3 as on the website.

Room and bathroom has been updated and renovated. Only negative is that there is a slight mildew smell in the room, which could be due to the humidity.

It’s a nice place to stay the night

We were also placed in a room located at the very back of the property, directly next to a garbage area, which was both unpleasant and disappointing. The room itself had no natural sunlight, making it feel dark and unwelcoming. To add to the inconvenience, the volume control on the TV remote did not work, limiting our ability to use basic amenities. Additionally, the sink faucet was not functioning properly, as the water did not come out straight, which made it difficult to use. Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness and functionality. I would appreciate it if you could address these issues and let us know how you plan to make this right.

As a traveler, I was so appreciative of the warmth of staff as well as the very accommodations. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!!!!

Clean, spacious corner king room with sitting area on second floor, room darkening window coverings, friendly, helpful staff, secure wi-fi, air conditioned, free parking. Would stay here again. Only flaw with stay, bathroom vent fan noise was loud.

Everything worked well

Great place ..very clean and modern and very quiet . The room was comfortable and the bed and linens we high quality and super comfortable. I highly recommend

Bed was fine in terms of cleanliness, but was uncomfortable. Floors needed to be swept/vacuumed. Shower needed to be cleaned - found hair in bottom and on walls. Also the coffee maker was on the bathroom sink??

Ms. Tina’s hospitality was exceptional since day one that I’ve booked my reservation. The room was smaller than I expected but it was clean and cozy I had no issues whatsoever. The room was close to the beach which is my favorite but my overall experience was very pleasant

Lovely welcome at front desk and super clean room. Really liked the medium sized fridge instead of a tiny one. TV was easy to use unlike most.

Great place, great location. Room was basically a small apartment, very well laid out and very comfortable. Clean and updated space. Customer service was top notch, got locked out of my room and the staff were super helpful and made sure I got in. I’d stay here again anytime!

Great value for the nightly rate! Friendly check in staff, room was clean, and provided all the basic necessities. Air condition was working perfectly. The bed and pillows were surprisingly very comfortable! I prefer to sleep on the firmer side, and the bed was THE perfect amount of firmness where you didn't sink into the bed, and provided a level of support for your back. Same goes for the pillows! Would return and stay again.

Location was great. Plenty of stores and places to eat close by. Most everything was in walking distance. Room was very spacious. Lighting was great bed was comfortable. Pull out couch was dirty and definitely needs a good cleaning but other than that everything else was very clean. Toiletries were nice.

Bed is not what I was expecting. It said queen bed but I don’t think it is.

This is always my #1 spot to stay at when in Manhattan beach. it's close to everything within 5 mins drive.

We weren’t there long, only a quick overnight before our early flight the next morning but it was pretty nice. The lady at the front desk was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable and it was across the street from a tasty Panda Express which we happened to be in the mood for. Would stay there again.

The service and helpfulness, especially Tina, is truly outstanding. We stay here every year to attend the Pro volleyball at MB, and the Hi View team is great about everything - storing bags prior to check in, taking them to your room once it's ready, and anything else they can do to make your stay the best. A beautiful walk down 2nd to the beach makes it a convenient place to stay.

The customer service was amazing. The room was large and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very safe and comfortable stay. 30 minutes from Los Angeles and great food options in the area. Service was great and easy check in was a plus.

Rooms were decorated beauifully, it was clean, the bathroom was bright enough to put makeup on and the added an extra touch with a magnafication mirror, which my mom loved. Parking was great, and all the employee were super nice and helpful. Thank you for a great experience!

From the outside looks like a 1970s era hotel but my room was like a luxury apartment - living room, kitchen, bath, and bedroom. Must have been newly renovated. Surrounding area ok but 15-20 min walk through high dollar neighborhoods and you are on the beach. Great place to escape $500/night hotels on the weekends esp. for those that like to walk or bike.

First time here looks like been remodeled recently, 4 minute drive to manhattan beach, clean, easy parking, nice staff lady , shower door was installed incorrectly on opposite end but was no big deal , I would stay there again especially for the affordable price.

Seems to have been renovated in recent years. Bathroom was clean and the glass partitions were spotless.

For the price point, I expected more than local TV Channels.

Water pressure terrible in shower and room smelled of bleach.

Showed up for a short one night stay near the beach. Room was clean, easy to get in, had ample amenities. Very reasonably priced for the area. Would stay here again.

Very simple and easy to get to the beach and pier.

I have stayed here numerous times and this was the least enjoyable experience. Room 123 is small and bed is not comfortable. Room just feels dated. Bathroom is way too small.

Love this family-run motel. It's close to LAX and feels safe and affordable. I've stayed here 3 times now.

Pleasant stay. No problems.

I liked this property because the bathroom had nice marble looking white porcelain tiles with veins on the whole wall with long tiles for flooring. I can also park right outside my unit. The manager is friendly and helpful. I stayed 3 nights and will stay here again.

The location is very accessible and the rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained.

The room is too small. Near the road so it’s noisy. But good service.

The rooms were nicely upgraded with nice bedding and fixtures. The floors and walls and windows and blinds were great. The bathroom was nicely upgraded. There were a few areas that haven’t been upgraded yet but very very small and only noticed from the view of a remodeler. It was very clean. Everything worked great. It seemed secure, and the staff that we met was very helpful and very, very pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience. The outside of the hotel is quite dated, but since everything inside is so great I didn’t mind at all, and the price was very good.

Overall, the hotel was good for the money. One if the windows was actually broken. The water pressure was horrible, definitely need to fix. If they give it a little TLC, it was be a great hotel. Definitely needs water pressure in shower and sink. Fix and repair minor issues.

What a lovely time it was at the Hi View Inn. It is really a secret treasure in this popular destination. Close to everything, comfortable accomodations, and very kind considerate service. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay that ticked all our boxes for a comfortable stay, staff were very nice to deal with, yes the road is noisy but most hotels etc are on this strip so the noise is on point with all other places.

Hotel quality rooms. Very clean and well maintained. Little pricy but this is expected in CA. I will definitely stay here again.

It was all fine except we couldn’t work the tv, we don’t know why. Couldn’t change the channels

Nice clean and quite stay, loved the free parking and simple no hassle check in and contactless checkout. Fairly walkable location close to restaurants and a few spots. Nice to have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Sufficient direct TV service. Only complaint was that the bed was a double not a queen size; but I may have overlooked during booking.

I found it very hard to sleep with highway so close.

This is a terrible place. We waited 30 min to check in because no one was at the front desk and when she came she was extremely rude and unhelpful. She didn’t even let us check in or give us a refund.

The rooms were new and CLEAN. The bed was comfortable. My only issue was the shower pressure---very low (not sure if that's a cali thing or a hotel thing). The hotel is minutes away from the downtown district of Manhattan beach. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

This was our second time staying at Hi View Inn & Suites for the AVP Manhattan Beach tournament and we have had such pleasant experiences both times. The front desk staff is lovely and so friendly and accommodating. It's an easy 20-30 minute walk to the main pier area as well. We'll be back next year if we come for the tournament again!

Nice, central location with easy parking. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Room was clean and nicely appointed, although small and, oddly, no towel bars in bathroom. I'd book it again.

Hi View Inn is a small, well-priced, clean and comfortable hotel in one of the best locations -Manhattan / Hermosa Beach. Free Wi-Fi, refigerator, microwave and easy parking.

The rooms were nice, good area. However, there was this really bad smell that hit you as you walked in. It was like bleach but stale and just very unpleasant. Which is unfortunate because the room was pretty nice.

Before my arrival day, I attempted to call to ask some questions and morning noon or night NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! The front desk is never attended. One of my fears while staying there is possibly my key card wouldn’t work( that happened to all of us) and wouldn’t be able to get in my room. The room was the smallest I’ve ever stayed in …..in all the years I’ve traveled.

I was there for only one night. I stayed there as it was in close proximity to LAX and I prefer smaller facilities to stay and Hi View fit the bill to a tee. Very nice place. Would highly recommend for travelers who wish to stay in the beach cities.

Quick overnight trip with my 9-yr old daughter. Clean room, extremely friend front desk female, and fast check-in. I picked this hotel because of the good reviews…so I decided to add one myself. Would stay here again! Thank you!

Clean, although small stains on the comforter. Bed was uncomfortable. 15 minutes from the airport without traffic. But overall I would stay again if I needed a one night hotel near the airport.

For the price, Hi View provides a pretty decent accommodation by Manhattan Beach standards of cost.

The room was beautiful but small with nowhere to hang clothes. Bathroom was lovely. However, this property is situated at a busy dual carriageway with non stop traffic which you heard all night, it actually felt like you were sleeping on the highway. The beach is a 20 minute walk down a very steep road. Check in lady was nice.

It wasn't fancy, but it was clean, quiet and the lady at the front desk was a total pleasure to deal with. I would stay there again and the location to LAX airport was great.
