The property was amazing. All the amenities were well worth it. It exceeded my expectations. Other than that I was not very pleased with the treatment from the staff. They told me that when I was attempting to check in at 2:30 PM that there were no rooms available that I had to come back. I came back at about 2:55 pm and they stated no rooms were available only to find out that my room was checked in at 8:54 am that morning so that means that had they just checked my name they would’ve been able to kind of go ahead and check me in, but they didn’t even do their due diligence to do so, which caused my entire experience with the staff to be unpleasant.

This property was absolutely beautiful and the rooms are top notch however when we arrived it was late and we were super tired. As we entered the room it smelled like garbage.. after unloading and putting our pre teens to bed i did some investigating and sure enough under tge sink there was two medium sized bags of garbage. One of them containing 5 to 10 dirty diapers and it was right then we k ew that terrible smell was indeed just that. I spoke to the front desk and he offered to move us but it was just too late for all that. He said that the .anager would probably comp us our room or so.ething however we never heard from them nor were any of the charges dropped. Kinda disappointing but not surprised.. aside from this issue this property is amazing.

The cleanliness was horrible. We bought food in the lobby. I had to return chocolate milk because it was expired by two weeks. Other food in the freezer were so damp the cardboard was starting to degrade. We had problems with the toilet. They wanted us to come down to the lobby to get a plunger. The tea and sugar in the room had gotten wet previously and was clumped and gross. We will not be staying again.

Staff/Manager were A+ but room and common areas, like stairwells and elevators, were dirty. They may have been doing some construction but I didn’t see any notices.

Check in was a breeze. Just wished they served breakfast. Was glad to see they were pet friendly. My lil fur friend says thank you for the snack. Plenty of parking and well lit.

This is the best room I have rented for a quick night. The bed is so comfortable and smelt so good. Having a fridge and freezer with ice maker was great and saved our food during our long trip. It was very clean, soap products were great and just every thing was way beyond my expectations!

I was aloud to check in early, they my stay so peaceful and comfortable.

We visit this area quite often. The hotel is not far from the hotel where we would normally stay. Check-In was bit of a drag, however they apologized and we were able to leave our belongings with them to go and get lunch. The lady that checked us in had unpacked our things off the trolley into our room once we returned. The area is full of any and everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable. Although they didn’t have breakfast available the rooms have mini kitchens which is always a plus when you’re traveling with family. I would stay here again!

The entire experience was excellent! The young lady at the front desk on 8/23/25 (around 12:30–1:00 PM) was outstanding. I arrived earlier than expected, and she kindly provided me with an early check-in. She was also very patient and understanding when I called for help with directions after I got a little turned around. Her professionalism and kindness truly made my stay even better. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Everything was great except I had a lot of mold in my air conditioner unit. You visibly could see it on the outside and in the vent. I did let the front desk know twice but no one came to my room to take care of it. I had turn the air conditioner off the entire time because I did not want to breathe it in. So it was but warm but the hotel was full so I couldn't switch rooms. Otherwise a great stay. Staff was friendly, a nice mini market with reasonable prices, clean, and easy check in and check out! I would stay again but without the mold.

This hotel served as a perfect little getaway stay. The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. A Racetrack was within walking distance as well as Dave and Busters. Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing we didn’t like is that we were on a side unit and the curtains weren’t designed to shut all the way. And light came in. Leaving we noticed that the curtains could be closed with the unit in the front

Need a better stock of clean towels/washcloths. Had to wait for laundry to be done. There was garbage still in one of the cans and had to get someone to empty it. Communication was bad as far as paying at checkout. Was informed that I could pay cash and couldn’t. Funds were taken out of my account instead, which was counted for. Most of the staff was very friendly!

i stayed here 2 out of three nights, on my way to nashville TN and on my way back, both times had good time, clean, quiet, friendly knowledgeable staff. i am always apprehensive when selecting a hotel but candlewood will be my top choice when i book again

Only problem was no breakfast and no ironing board. Desk said they are extended stay thus no breakfast. Then why would you not have an irining board???

Room was excellent, however, we requested an an accessible room, but found out when we arrived that there were no accessible rooms available. Supposedly, our request via Expedia did not go through to the hotel. I had a printed confirmation that we did request an accessible room.

I like that my checkin was fast with no problems and my room was clean and I felt very welcome at the hotel, no dislikes at all.

The service was very nice. The cleanliness was a ok. Would have liked a cleaner bathroom but the room didn’t smell and the bed was comfortable.

Ample parking and dog-friendly accommodations, though not all dog owners are diligent about cleaning up after their pets. The staff is exceptionally friendly and goes above and beyond to assist. The area has plenty of restaurants nearby. While we found a strange sticky substance on the carpet, the room was otherwise clean. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel does not serve breakfast and everything inside is very expensive. Had to pay $4 for a Tylenol and $3.50 for a bottle of water.

Very nice property, convenient to stores and restaurants. My only issue was checking in,if i booked a particular type of room then that's what i wanted. When checking in attendant was trying to put mt in a 2 queen bed room, when i booked a king suites with kitchen. Please give me what a paid for.

I'd get rid of furniture in rooms that are worn out like the office chair. The details in a room are top of any traveller's list & my room could of used some care here & there.

The TV did not work and the air conditioner leaked and soaked the rug.

The elevators were very nasty, due Covid and other diseases that are still prevalent, these elevators should stay clean.

It was ok, it states that it had a pull out couch and it did not.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only change sheets once a week of get towels at front desk. My arm chair was a bit worn showing the age. Fridge and everything else was on point.

We tried to check in at 2:45pm. Was told 20 min. Waited until 3:30. Still wasn't ready so we left for a while. At 4:50 got the call our room was ready. We were also told we would get some kind of compensation such as additional points. Nothing has been said to us since. This is totally unsatisfactory and our next stay in McDonough will be somewhere else.
