Holiday Inn Express & Suites Medford by IHG

The location was convenient for travelers coming through. Since we arrived very late, the hotel had made an error and could not find our reservation. Ultimately the issue was solved as the mistake being on their end, and we were able to check into our rooms just before midnight. I found the bathroom less than clean, especially the sink. Breakfast the next morning was OK. The beds were reasonably comfortable. Except for the check-in debacle, it was a good enough stay for what we were looking for, and that was an overnight during a long road trip.

We traveled about 13 hours and were exhausted. The staff was wonderful, the rooms clean, and the beds comfy. It was exactly what we needed! Thank you!

The room was nice very clean but we found it weird they were going green when it came to the coffee. My sister is a coffee drinker and usually has a cup before doing anything else but skipped it because she had to go downstairs to get it. Also the mattress is starting to wear or maybe it’s just not like my home mattress. But we’d stay here again because of how nice the staff was

Have to go to the lobby to get coffee. There are no coffee makers in the rooms.

I had an extensive conversation with reservations and they absolutely assured me that we could have our cat. We got there after 10 hours of driving and we were told that cats were not allowed so we had to find another hotel. I planned ahead so this wouldn’t happen to no avail. Was not told that cats were not allowed even though I asked ahead of time and was told they were.

Everything was great. But if you plan to use the shuttle from the airport call before you book to find out what hours the shuttle is in service. Our plane was delayed and when we called the number on the website after landing we initially reached the call center and were told there was no shuttle service even though the website says the hotel provides airport shuttle service, I was transferred to the hotel and at first was told the shuttle was not available then they said they would pick us up after they picked up and drove some airline crew members to the hotel first.

The staff are wonderful! The room was spotless! The bed was super comfortable! The window had a black out shade. There was a kerig. The air conditioner was freezing cold. I loved it! I slept like a baby! So quiet! I was suprized it was so quiet because the parking lot was full! I highly recommend this place for a good rest!

Rooms have been remodeled since our last visit and look nice. The shower could use a new/better shower head. The breakfast was a bit sparse and I'd like to see a handwashing station somewhere.

Staff was welcoming and had excellent customer service even when there were several customers arriving at the same time. Bed and pillows were extremely comfy!

Breakfast had veggie egg whites omelet's as the only egg option 2 out of the 4 days I stayed. A couple days the only meat option was turkey sausage that was chewy and cold. On my last night that I booked so I could get a good night rest before my long drive home the power went out during the night and lots of alarms and sounds going off which took the hours of 11:45 to 3:15 out of any possible sleep time. So much for restful sleep. Amazing that a nice hotel can’t have a back up generator so their guests won’t be disturbed any more than necessary. Other than all that ridiculous stuff everything else was fine.

This facility was clean, the beds were comfortable and easy to find. I will say Makayla at the front desk was less than empathetic or willing to help us (travelers who do not know the area) as we found out the shuttle service is an intermittent service provided. We did book our stay through Expedia (lesson learned) and were misinformed regarding the shuttle service; however, she was cold and very unhelpful. Being from the local area, she could've helped explore more avenues.

Hotel was nice and clean, however in room with two beds, there was one hook to hang towels in the bathroom. No information as to where to get ice, had to go to the front desk for that information. Access card quit working after a day. Breakfast was ok. Hot foods were generally cool to cold, but a nice variety. The location of the trays was unknown. I started looking in cabinets to help someone who needed a tray. Ample parking and easy to navigate.

Really comfortable and clean facilities, pet friendly and reasonable breakfast choices. Easy access from I-5 with plenty of food options within walking distance. Second time we have stopped here, and it has become our "go-to" stop on road trips between Washington state and northern California!

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable but the comforter in the duvet cover was horrible. The comforter inside the cover was loose and bunched up. Hard to pull the covers up when all you got ahold of was the cover. Very annoying.

Conveniently located next to I-5 and shopping (Walmart and Fred Meyer). I typically enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express, but my stay at this location was not very pleasant. Neighbors next door and above were loud and making noise well into the night. And you hear everything on the other side of the walls. It was a rough night for sleep. I wouldn't stay at this location again.

The property looks fairly new and well kept. The front desk was very nice.. I arrived about an hour early and the young lady checked me right in! The room was clean. The bed slept well and the AC worked well. The area was quiet. Plus plenty of shops and restuarants within a mile, and Walmart is right up the street, very convenient. Overall no complaints and I would have no reservations about staying here again.

Everyone was very helpful and the property was in excellent condition.

We were “upgraded” to a king suite from 2 queens…let’s be clear - a pull out bed in place of a normal bed is NEVER an upgrade. Unfortunately we were told there was no other option, we then did not even have bedding and weren’t offered any pillows for those that had to sleep on it. Then the floors were gross, lots of food in corners walls had smears all over them and the shower floor was mostly black. Disappointed in the upgrade and general lack of concern with it. Cleanliness disappointing also.

We were able to stay here with our pet and really appreciated that but there was absolutely nowhere to take her outside that wasn't full of sticker weeds and cheat grass.

Room was a nice size, clean and both towels and sheets were clean as well. Breakfast is always a plus at Holiday Inn, the cinnamon rolls are the best.

Breakfast was good. I wish it was hotter. The oatmeal was Luke warm and the sausage was cold. Pancake was good.

The site was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The one complaint was the noise from the hall. You couldn't hear a peep from other rooms, but if people were talking in the hall or coming and going, you could hear their conversations as if they were in the room with you.

Both rooms next to me kept banging into the wall. The door had a big gap and light came into the room. It was not a restful night and I felt it at work today, as I was traveling to cover a colleague. I like that it is next to the ice hockey rink. One thing that I would do differently is offer bacon again on the weekends for breakfast. Second, the potatoes are a little bland.

Not all Holiday Inn Express Hotels follow the same IGH principles.. Medford hotel doesn’t appear to keep high standards with the overall condition of the rooms and the lack of professionalism with the front desk staff. Nothing like the Holiday Inn Express at Keizer Station, Oregon. Will not return.

Ive stayed here at least 6x. Staff is always nice. Room is clean. Water is hot. Parking is good. Theres plenty of dining choices a 2minute drive, a Fred Myer a couple min drive & a Starbucks & Walmart across the street. I use this hotel as a stopping point for the night before going over the pass into CA.

We stayed for 2 nights. Nice, clean hotel located near a few shopping centers and lots of food choices. Hotel is newer, rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable.

We stayed 3 days and second elevator was broken for 2 of the days. They were not had 2 elevators so had to wait to get room.
