Not a very pleasant experience but I guess when you need somewhere to start it does the job.

This hotel needs to close down and renovate. It’s looks like the have bugs in there from the looks of combat gel plastered in the corners. The room was messed up so bad that I refused to stay in it. The sheets were dirty looking and the tub was filthy as well

Are staying was not comfortable at all it was very dirty left early from our state because sick from being in the moldy placethe the floors were sticky the walls were dirty there were stains all over the bathroom toilet I put a few pictures that I've took this place needs to be painted and updated really bad

We could not sleep there, the room and mattress was beyond dirty. I really want a refund.

Jus a stop by for an event. The hotel was changed however it was not too bad just not 4 stars.

I had to switch rooms over 5 times because first it was disgusting then water was working then the heater caught on fire almost blew up. The staff was really rude instead of helping us they tried to kick us out because we were causing to many issues.

Quite average. Nothing special but not poor either. I would describe it as average which isn’t a bad thing. For the price, you get a decent room that’s spacious and does what you need it to do.

The staff are friendly no matter what other say the staff help you out in anyway they can. They are only human they can’t do it all so I liked my stay

This was a last minute booking and the reviews were good. This place did nit live up to the reviews. The desk clerk at check in was rude. I booked a smoke free room but I could smell some coming through the vents in the bathroom. The faucets in the bathroom had not been run for a while, as the water had a yellow tent. I have had better accomodations for the $111 I paid for this room. Very disappointed ☹️

The staff at the desk is polite and knowledgeable. The lobby is super clean. Coffee in the mornings are helpful in starting my day.

The water pressure was turned in the unit where it made it a problem to get hot in the sink and the rrom didn't hv a remote for the tv and tje room door was not secure as it should be needed maintenance to it

Check-in was fast. And I thought the lady was personable and efficient. The lobby was clean an spacious.

This was the nastiest and unsanitary hotel I’ve ever seen in my life. There was feces on the wall in the bathroom on the door here in the bathtub on the sink dirt in the bathroom floor like it’s not been swept in months blood drops on the floor, Fishies on the blanket and it looked like blood as well. The towels were there and brown with stains on them, the ceiling had holes in it and watermarks as if it had a leak the refrigerator was leaking water almost caused me to slip. The bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was just old and had stains on it. The room smelt horrible. It was very dusty and nothing was updated at all the elevator smelt disgusting people stayed up all night long party and drinking , and possibly doing drugs never stay at the FairBridge Inn.

When I got there the power was out. Also there was no hot water in the bathroom sink.

I don't have any thing bad to say. The service was good, I felt safe. I slept good.

The front desk was nice but the room floor was sticky, beds looked unkept we ended up leaving 3 hours in.

It was ok!! There was some loud people in hallways frightening!! But it was ok!!

2nd room had Roaches, stains in bed sheets/showers. A/c leaking a lot of water upon entry. No T.v. When asked to switch again the agent said no he can’t. (Rooms was available, then told me to wait for maintenance (never came) by far the worst and experience and customer service. All Rooms had one towel. Absolutely horrible experience.

The hotel was not clean. There was no heat in my room. There were dead bugs in the shower and on the floor. They also had heavy traffic in the hallway all night.

The heat didn’t work my room was freezing cold when I told front desk he told me I had to wait till 12 at 12 it was a different front desk and he said he didn’t know what I was talking about. At first I thought it was people having a party in the hallway at 4 am but no it was the room next door you’d swear they right outside my door. The mattress was so nasty I brought my own sheets though and the phone was connected to nothing with no fire alarms I just couldn’t bear how unsafe.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The first time I stayed it wasn't that bad. This time it was worse. The room wasn't that clean the bathroom smell of moles. When you turn the heater on it smell like smoke. There was no microwave in the room. It was only one in the lobby and it did not work very well. The mini fridge in my room was half clean.

if all you need is a bed to crash in this is the place!

WiFi wasn’t available towels and sheets were stained as of the last person had a nose bleed and they just fixed the bed right after. First night I was scared because the room across from me had just gotten robbed .

I liked that check in way prompt. I disliked that it took about 5 minutes before warm water came out of shower head. And only had one shower towel.

There were holes in the walls, finger prints in the bathroom, flickering lights, one chair, tables and desk were falling apart, luggage rack was half broke, and the hangers were sticky. I didn't take photos because i didn't want to remember this yucky stay.

We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on the sheets as they were clearly dirty.

Room was partially cleaned towels were on the floor and trash cans were full of used feminine products. Remote control volume does work the entrance smells like pee and mold and water damage walls that are actually finished are paper thin water pressure is low and is blatantly busting out of pipes. I stayed 8 hours just to sleep it was terrible never again the air conditioner was so loud that you should just sleep next to a every half hour car crash and it pops on randomly times. The customer service guy was all dismissive and nonchalant.

The property was easy to find and was affordable for our party of 9. The bathroom stunk of urine and the bed sheets had a stain on it. The tv remote was missing a battery so when I went to get a battery, found out the battery did not fit, so I was given a replacement remote that did not work. Overall, if you just need an affordable place to stay for the night, it will do, however they can do better on cleanliness.

The room I received has a pest issue. I called the front desk and they immediately gave me another room with no hesitation

Acomodating front desk

The hotel needs a lot of repair work. The taps were loose. Bugs in the wash room. I have stayed in similar hotels but this is not worth the money paid

I can sum this hotel as follows: a sketchy motel 6 if nobody took care of it for years. The staff has an attitude about everything. Even the vending machines don’t work.

I had no issue finding a parking place right outside the main entrance. The desk clerk didn't exude friendliness and was difficult to understand due to having a heavy accent. He also spoke quickly and softly so it was hard to understand what he was saying. He didn't mention that the WiFi password on the jacket of my passkey at time of check in (I came back to the desk to ask, then he told me). On the upside, the clerk quickly accommodated my request to move rooms once I discovered the first room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the bathroom looked rather gross. The second room was fine. I like that the room had a mini fridge (wasn't mentioned in the posting). The air conditioning worked well and easily adjustable. The common areas had an odd smell that I couldn't quite place. This is definitely a budget operation but the lower cost made it manageable.

The room was discussing and had blood stains on the wall. Changed rooms and it was worst. And bath had mold on the tiles. Bad bad, dirty . The sheets were full of cigarette burns. And looked like they had been used. I would not recommend this hotel to stay.

As soon as I got there it looked run down which is fine but when we got to the room there were literal blood stains on the wall by the bed frame. Disgusting. Also, I left my Nintendo switch on the bed and was gonna get it later that same day, but when I called the hotel they said they didn’t have it but I know I left it. They stole it and continue to use it (I can see the stuff they buy) do NOT stay here. It’s not worth it no matter how cheap.

It was honestly a horrible and awful place to reserve a room under any circumstances. I was dissatisfied a d regret the fact of me reserving at this hotel suite .. Fairbridge Inn Express in Melrose Park, Illinois.

The parking is weird, they got a gate that has no access and barely no parking. The smell of marijuana in the hallway is powerful and the smell gets in the room, you have people screeming and making loud noises on the hallway between 12am and 3am that will not let you sleep.

The people are very nice, the bathroom are discussing, the tv doesn’t get the channels that it should my ac worked sometimes, when not it was blowing but stuffy, the place shouldn’t be a 1 star, but it is.

Alot of construction but very accommodating.

I called and was told everything would be fine with me and my children, when I got there I was turned away and did not get my refund, which in turns left me and my children to stay outside the whole night.

I checked in and it definitely did not look like the pictures. Although the bathroom is clean, it was smaller than a closet. They were four hangers. And they were barely hanging on. There was a dog across the hall that barked for hours on end. The front desk was notified and they asked if I could wait to go to bed until the owner returned. Not only did I finally get 45 minutes of sleep, I was awakened with itching. I began to put the sheets off and the bed mattress had bedbugs. I video recorded it and took it to the office, he only offered an alternative room. At this time I made him aware that I was not willing to trade one bug infested wrong with another. I was there for a funeral and slept in my car for the night. The room was not compensated and I was only told to contact corporate. I absolutely will not be staying another one of these hotels.

The attendant was rude, not understandable. Day one entering the room the towels, face cloths and sheets are stained, looks like blood and feces. The bathroom light was not working. Expressed to attendant to change room, was denied. He said he would fix light in morning and replace sheets, towels with clean ones. The next evening the light still not fixed, the towels and face cloths I had on the floor were folded and placed back on counter with the stains still there. The bed was made, no sheet change, the stains still same area. Truly the worse hotel experience I ever had. Get what you pay, the rates were still over a hundred a night. I wouldn't stay there for free.

Beware. You get what you pay for. Not one good thing I can say about my stay.

The place looks like it’s owns roaches

POSITIVES: good front desk staff, sometimes harried by being alone at busy times. Bed, pillows comfortable. Linens clean, fresh smelling. AC working well. New floor vinyl seemed clean (not a dirty rug). Largely quiet except for inconsiderate guests in hall. NEGATIVES: bath full of fleas/small flies. Hair on floor. Human waste at base of toilet. Need vacuuming and not just wet mopping; both needed; down on hands and knees wiping needed. No wash cloths. No housekeeping during 2 day stay. Walls, woodwork need replacement, updating. Common areas (entrance, halls, elevator) desperately need rehabilitation. Attention needed to key card activation as card failed on 2nd nights. Somewhat difficult to access from highways/streets. Not pleasantly walkable area due to heavy traffic on streets. Public bus present but not easy to access on foot. An old facility run down in need of investment in repair, renovation, improvement . . . but that would cost guests more to finance.

We found a roach a pond Arrival and also the water was not hot. It was warm, very uncomfortable, but was hard to find another hotel so late at night.

people would not be comfortable here. I would never bring my family here. There is a lot of peeling paint, stains on the walls and other things that need repair. No bugs thankfully, but still felt like such a mess. I travel full time so I stay at a lot of inexpensive hotels. Properl was a mess but staff was so kind to me when I was there.

The rooms was nasty no towels in the room

Absolutely horrible, dirty, nasty and disgusting place to stay. I was so shocked that Hotels.com has this property on their website. I have used this website for years and have never been disappointed til now. The pictures that this hotel is using must be when they first opened up years ago because there is no where in the hotel that looks anything like the pictures now! Horrible place to stay even to just get a few hours of sleep.

I didn't like the shower to dirty

Probably the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was mold, stains on the bed, and the bathtub had a giant pool of brown stuff at the bottom. We showed a picture to the front desk and requested a refund, as we were going to find a different hotel to stay in. They said to contact Expedia and then they’d give us one, but a day later, declined our refund request claiming we stayed the night there. Absolute nightmare all around.

Very old and run down

Sticky floors, extremely dirty bathroom, unexplained stains on the walls, moldy mattress are just a few things to mention. No hot water, no pressure to shower, dirty linens... Just awful, do not recommend, will never stay again.

The internet hookup did not work my entire stay there. Three times during the day I had to walk to a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts for a hook up, which was then perfect. The staff at the hotel counter pretended he didn’t know the real problems with the Wifi. Despite what they say on their webpage, there is NO wifi setvice ay the hotel.
