I like that the cracker barrel restaurant was next to the hotel for breakfast. Right off the freeway. The staff were helpful for directions and where not to go. I went here because just close enough to downtown Memphis by car. Rooms smelled of smoke. Not enough washing machines.

Relatively clean. I always have issues with property that is fully carpeted when cleaning schedule is suspected of not being cleaned often (every 30 days) I didn’t like that there was no outdoor space. Unit has minimal sunlight but I don’t imagine that that can be changed at this point of course

Restaurant was just a bar. 75% of the menu items were out of stock. The only thing available for dinner was hamburgers and chicken wings We ate dinner at the Indian restaurant next door and the food was amazing. Back to the hotel - For breakfast the only items available was scrambled eggs, hash browns, 2 pieces of toast & sausage or bacon- that’s in, no printed menu. Really NOT RECOMMEND this hotel. We stayed at several Sheraton locations but this Four Points Memphis Southwind was appalling.

Pool was so cloudy we couldn’t see the bottom. The pull out couch bed with very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs, and there was no bedding for it in the room. We had to request some from the front desk. No hand soap in the bathroom or body wash in the shower.

The room was definitely dirty. Had to change rooms because the television kept going out, the toilet would not flush and the refrigerator did not work. The second room smelled like cigarette smoke but we dealt with it because we were too tired to leave again. We did not get cleaning service on the second day so we had to ask for tissue and towels. When they did clean the floor was still nasty and full of crumbs. Definitely not a good look for a Marriott brand hotel.

The only real issue I have is when they start the cleaning early in the morning, the washing machine they use sends of a high pitched noise every 15 seconds. It’s located on the 1st floor but I could hear it in my room. It made it impossible to sleep. I spoke to a staff member who said that management is aware, but haven’t done anything about. Avoid rooms 209-213 if like to sleep past 7am.

Horrible. Made it there with my wife tired after a long drive ready to lay down just to find out that the property had cancelled my reservation stating they were overbooked and simply waiting for me to arrive to let me know instead of calling me in advance to alert me. Now I have hundreds of dollars hung up because of this and I’m being told that it will take 7-10 business days for the refund to be fully processed and back to me. Not to mention I had to obtain a hotel at another location so it’s a double whammy

There was also a power outage in the area that lasted about 30–45 minutes; it would be beneficial for a hotel to have a backup generator in situations like that. No breakfast was advertised, whether complimentary or paid. Additionally, noise control could be better, as it was quite loud at night with kids running around and shouting. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby and easy access right off the interstate.

This stay made it where I’ll never go off reviews again when it comes to Memphis!! This hotel was nasty they didn’t have trash bags in the trash cans, whoever cleaned the room swept all the trash under the beds, the walls had cracks in them the furniture was old and a mess, the pool was over filled and the pool furniture WAS NASTY AND HORRIBLE!! This was the worst stay EVER!!

. No body wash in my room, I washed up with Shampoo. . I couldn’t call the front desk because the phone didn’t work so I had to inconvenience myself and go to the desk. . The room above me was running around and jumping up and down, which was annoying. . I told the front desk about these issues and nothing was done nor did they inform anyone. . The furniture in the room seems old and worn. Many of the outlets and usb changing ports are either not working or very loose where the cord keeps coming loose. I will say the staff was friendly and the room is clean.

My shower curtain was too short and no liner. Maintenance came but didn’t return to bring new curtain. The ice was thick in refrigerator couldn’t use freezer. AC was great. Staff at desk courteous. The children in room 210 were loud, running and banging on walls. I couldn’t move as hotel was overbooked. I wanted a late check out for 1 pm and told this hotel doesn’t do that, yet tv advertising indicated different.

My issue was I was not informed when booking that the accessible room shares a wall with an elevator and it is very loud all day and night, very loud! Also the pool was filthy, there is scum all around the top tile and the was is so strong with either chemicals or other that it is so cloudy you can’t see your feet.

We went to the room and upon opening the door we found another family's items in the room. Obviously occupied. We went back downstairs, and they had to put us in separate rooms that were not joined. It was a huge inconvenience especially given it was 8:30 when we got to the hotel. The fact we reserved the room, and they just gave it away is just ridiculous. I'm not sure why I expected good service since we were in Memphis, but it was still very upsetting.

The worst service I have received in a long time. Room keys didn’t work upon arrival, little to no lighting, and power out for the 4 hours, despite manager saying it would be back in an hour, I was there on the first night of my stay before canceling, checking out and going to another hotel. Multiple calls to the hotel to get them to process the refund that I was promised, but they never call back and don’t take any action. 0/10 and I would rather sleep outside than to give these people another penny.

The hotel was great comfortable clean. But when we got here to check-in hotel.com. Never sent the virtual credit number for our payment. After several phone calls and text with a virtual assistant.Many calls to the hotel.I had to cancel the reservations through hotel. com because the hotel after almost two hours could not check us in because they never received payment from hotel com. The hotel had our reservation.And once we canceled through, you were as able to get our rooms and pay them directly. I have used hotel.com for years. I've never had so many issues as I had trying to get our room here. Of course, we ended up spending so much time there. We did not get to do our evening meal and sightseeing in memphis.

We checked in late and the lady was on the phone the entire time. She only gave 2 adults 1 room key and did not explain the breakfast package we paid extra for. The lady at breakfast was supper helpful and explained it to us. She was professional and busy seemed to be short handed as it looked as if she was doing 2-3 jobs at once. Overall stay was great, room was clean. Loved having a Keurig and bottle of water in the room.

I didn’t like that the toilet flushing handle came off in my hand minutes after I had brought all our luggage in. I had to change rooms. Moved from 122 to 124. After checking everything I discovered the refrigerator wasn’t working. They promised t store my unopened items in the kitchen and would bring another refrigerator before 9an the next morning, 8/2. I reported to management that there wasn’t any hot water. He said the engineer would come and my refrigerator was on its way. Got the refrigerator but still no hot water! I reported no hot water again and still no hot water. No one has spoken to me about the issue with the water. I’m leaving 8/5 by noon. I feel I should be compensated in some kind of way. Sorry I don’t do Luke warm- cool showers or baths. Waiting to hear from you. My bill is $395 and paid in full!!!! Thank you!

I was very worried at first after reading reviews and never staying at a Four Points before, but I was pleasantly surprised once checking in. Check in was easy and quick. Staff was very friendly. Room was nice, clean, and appeared newly renovated. TV even accommodated Netflix and other streaming platforms. Only negative things about the room is the water pressure isn’t the greatest and there is only 2 towels and wash rags in the bathroom. Pool was open, it was clean and well kept. Felt amazing after a long drive! Kids and family approved! Restaurants very close as well. Will definitely stay at this hotel chain again.

I listed that we had 3 adults staying, and it was only 2 sets of towels. The pull out couch was all stained of what seemed to be urine stains. The front desk is soooooooo small that I walked past it. There was a entire group of teenage boys running in the halls, and there was a bad odor coming from around the refrigerator. The breakfast is not included, but the lobby area isnt very big and didnt really appear welcoming. I booked the room online, so it was a $100 depisit that I didnt know about which in general is my fault for looking at it incorrectly along with the breakfast that I thought was free. They have parking, but it is also limited front parking, si u mainly gave the sides and the back. All together the hotel seems very oddly structured. I will say the staff was nice. I was disappointed with the few things listed. I did finally sleep well in the bed after the noise calmed down. I think on my next stay I will just go next door to the Holiday Inn Express!

The hotel was nice and the staff were all great. The room was large enough for us. The noise level from other rooms was a little excessive at times. The showers took a while to heat up and the water pressure wasn't great. However, it got the job done. The beds were nice and the facility was very clean. No free breakfast is a little disappointing. I waited 10-15 minutes before anyone appeared at the front desk to check in. Maybe longer. The front desk clerk did not tell me anything about our stay (wifi, check out time, pool hours) and when we went to the pool there were over 25 people/kids in there all from one group with one or two key cards. Not sure if they were even staying at the hotel. They were also climbing on all of the fitness equipment.

The property is in dire need of renovation. There is a weird mildewy smell that permeates throughout the property and the room felt dated and dark. I paid $5 for breakfast each morning but they didn’t have the fruit or turkey sausage that was offered on the menu so no breakfast for me. The staff was wonderful but even they wouldn’t be enough to convince me to ever stay there again. If there’d been availability anywhere else close by, I would’ve checked out and just lost the money I paid.

I found several long strands of hair in various places in the room. 3 in the bed, 1 in the bath tub, and 1 on a bath towel. Also the walls need to be wiped down. I was in room 203. This made me feel that the room was not completely clean and a bit uncomfortable.

The staff was very helpful and polite. There were a couple of small things, like the toiled handle was broken but, we didn't even bother to complain about that. As someone who worked for a couple of big chain hotels, I know all hotels have something wrong, and this was nothing major, we could still flush it. It was only one night but the hotel and staff were so accommodating and nice, it made me want to extend our stay. indoor pool, bar, patio area and more. We will be staying here again... Thanks

One of the elevators was down, so only one elevator for the whole building. There were people openly smoking marijauna in the common area outside. The smell of marijuana in the one working elevator was prevalent.

This stay was absolutely horrible. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The room was clean and tidy. This location was terribly slow with very little foot traffic. My guest and I went down to the restaurant/bar for dinner and drinks. After about 15 minutes we were finally acknowledged and was able to place our order. Once the order was taken, no drinks were served and we waited 30 more minutes for both our food and drinks…The meal was cold and over cooked, so I had to order delivery. No staff was ever available at the front desk and when they were I felt like I was inconveniencing them. The following morning I went up to the get breakfast and ask the lady at the front about the breakfast I paid for with my reservation. She rudely asked me where’s your card?!? I said i was never given one. She grabs a card and puts my name plus 1. We ordered breakfast and it took almost an hour. The cook was in the back cussing and complaining about having to do her job. I requested late check out and even offered to pay for a couple extra hours. I was hung up on and then called back and told 1230.
