We like the decor and proximity to the restaurants and live music venues. The a/c thermostat was not working and I couldn’t adjust the temperature . My wife was uncomfortable during the night. And normally she sleeps without any difficulty .

Lovely, friendly staff both at front desk and in the restaurant. Great location, right in downtown. Big, comfortable room. I would stay here again On-site restaurant was expensive for breakfast (although staff were amazing). I was asked to move to another hotel (Hotel Napoleon, next door) for the final night of my stay, which was a minor inconvenience. Staff were lovely about this situation though - all Donald Trump's fault!

Hotel was taken over and no room available. This was paid in advance, extremely disappointed with booking.com. Will not be recommending booking.com to anyone.

My experience was really disappointing. I booked a king room but was given a double at check-in. The room itself was not clean, with visible stains on the bed sheets/carpet and a dirty bathroom. Overall, it did not feel sanitary or comfortable at all.

The check-in staff was great, the check-out staff was not great. The room curtains would not go up or go down and there were numerous other things that needed fixing in the room; however, the room was clean and the bed was great. (also, the shower was out of body wash)..

Cool hotel with mid-century moderrn vibes. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the next door restaurant was wonderful and convenient. Good downtown location if you can ignore the homeless. We felt safe enough though.

There is no restaurant available after 2 pm. No Bar. No smart TV.

I’m confident they will follow up.

Our room was on the 8th floor -- which is where the pool is located. Unfortunately, we were not advised that you would hear 'gurgling' and 'water noise' all night long. Nothing could be done. Needless to say, there wasn't another 'comparable' room available. The hotel is an older hotel.

My only suggestion is about the breakfast option. It should be a bit more specific to guest how does it work, as the restaurant does not belong to the hotel.

Parking costing $22 dollars was a rip off the hotel isn’t that nice to charge for parking. I would not stay there again

Hotel Indigo was unique, interesting and in the downtown area. Staff were friendly and the bed was very comfortable. A/C worked well. It might have just been an off-day, but my room wasn’t too clean. The night stand was covered in a dried, spilled soda (or something). There were pieces of tissue on the floor and the carpet had not been vacuumed. The keurig coffee maker was pretty dirty in the water receptacle. There was an iron, but no ironing board. All of the soap and shampoo and conditioner dispensers were completely empty. There was no bathmat. I would stay again, though, and just hope for a cleaner room.

Hotel Indigo had such a great vibe. The rooms were a great size. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and made check in a breeze. We wish we could have stayed longer. Such a wonderful stay!

The hotel is shabby but relatively clean. The pool area needs to be refreshed. The onsite restaurant was expensive and mediocre. The staff didn't have easy and quick recommendations for dining. The area is slightly rundown

The swimming pool was reserved for a private party. This kind of situation is absolutely unacceptable because we’ve paid for this room thinking there would be a swimming pool available.

Shower not clean and it leaked out into the bathroom. Bathroom door would not remain closed. 2 light bulbs out. One cabinet door would not fully close

Room was nice but there was apparent water damage in the bathroo. And one light was out. Location was close to where we wanted to be and reasonable. Additional overnight parking charge (expected).

The hotel itself was great and we loved Biscuits and Jams but the other guests were rude and inconsiderate. Nothing that the Hotel Indigo could do anything about; however, had I known before arrival that there was a loud pool party every Sunday, all day long, and that the other guests made it quite clear we were not welcome to use the pool I could have either prepared my family or made other arrangements. It's a pity, too. The hotel was pretty cool and the pool area looked pretty fun in the hotel photos.

Beautiful hotel in a very sketchy part of Memphis. Also, parking was a very expensive add on on top of the price of your room. No breakfast either. Better value elsewhere.

The bedsheets appeared slept in and wrinkled, with spills, and hair, and crumbs under the nightstands, and hair on the pillows. The shower leaked both from the showerhead and out the door. This was not the level of quality I’ve come to expect from Hotel Indigo based on experiences at other locations.

The staff was amazing! Everyone I spoke to was so nice. The room was cute, everything we needed. It was clean. Only complaints is it was insanely hot, almost like our air conditioner wasn’t working. Then our shower had no hot water. As soon as we got in it was immediately cold.

Nice room. Coffee maker didn’t work and the pool was down for maintenance. Location and staff were super friendly and I would definitely stay there again if I was ever in the area.

Very loud. Guests fought and argued until 4 am. Wasn’t clean enough. Needs repairs and updates. Hallways are HOT! No air. And the elevators are HOT with no air! Bathroom has no door for privacy but has a sliding door that doesn’t cover the doorway completely!

The hotel itself was really great. Clean and quiet. The surrounding area was all empty, abandoned buildings mostly. It was near a FedEx Office Ship Center which was also helpful. No street parking, but they had a secure hotel garage.

One of the best places we've stayed for the price. Large room, had the king bed. Little kitchenette, fridge. Big bathroom. Walking distance to food, Beale St or stay in and use facilities.

It was great

This was a pleasant surprise! A beautifully renovated property with a radio theme - I happen to be a former career broadcaster so I personally loved the decor. A real Wurlitzer juke box in the lobby, vintage radios on display, MCM furniture, a spacious bathroom and room. The staff was excellent - very accommodating, friendly and informative. Beale St was just an 8 min walk. I will stay here again the next time I’m in Memphis.

Dirty roads around

We stayed in room 801. The room was clean and the water temperature was perfect! Great shower. The air conditioning was nice and cold! Room felt great but hallways were hot. Elevators are really small. Other than that I would say it was a nice overall stay.

The parking garage and associated elevator were unsafe and open for anyone to access, in an unsafe area of downtown Memphis. The AC leaked water and the staff did not address it even after we asked them to. The body wash bottle was empty and the staff member only reluctantly brought us more when we asked.

It was a clean and well maintained prperty with comfortable rooms. The staff members were friendly, courteous and efficient.

Super cute hotel in downtown Memphis! Staff was really welcoming and helpful. Room was showing a little wear but bathroom was really clean and renovated. Area around the hotel is great, you can walk down to the park by the river or to a restaurant. We drove about 10 minutes to eat at Hattie B’s hot chicken, so good! Loved this hotel and our short stay!

1960’s era hotel completely renovated. Now cool and hip. Fun.

The hotel is nice . The mattress are very old, need replacement.

There was a very loud pool party going on when I arrived and constant use of the ice machine that was way too close to my room. The lobby was ok, but the neighborhood rather crappy. My 9th floor room had a view (<20’ away) of nothing but window of an apparently abandoned building with windows broken out.

I was not told there was a 75 dollar pet fee. I was told it was just a refundable deposit that I would get back

Everyone was super nice. The parking was easy. Most tourist attractions are in walking distance. The room was nice and cozy. I just wish we had a microwave and a smart tv but those are small things. I’d definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Need more staff

I have never been to Memphis so I wanted to stay in a hotel within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The staff at the desk was so great. He told me where to go and was so sweet when we returned wanting to know if we enjoyed the places he suggested. What a fun night in Memphis!

We had no issues with the hotel itself. The area around is under going work as buildings are gutted and boarded. The only problem we had was a leak from the ceiling in the bathroom caused some water and debris to fall. The night clerk Keenan did an amazing job of getting us moved into a new room.

Comfortable room, convenient garage parking ($25 fee), we had belingings in our car and did not have an issue leaving them overnight. Would stay again.

We did not have our roomed services, if we wanted clean towels we where told to come to the desk and get them and when we did they didn't have them, no coffe supplies after the first day. The front desk young man was very rude. they closed the pool for a private pool party. that was loud and they were where smoking pot. When asked about the party we where told we could buy a ticket to join the party. This was the worst experiance I have had a a hotel in Memphis

No breakfast on offer but small cafe next door - no discount offered. The small shop had nothing in it but when we were checking out after 3 days they were restocking it!

Wasn’t a very clean room. We found random screws on the bathroom floor, and the desk chair was full of dirt. Service was friendly, and bed was comfortable.

My room also had a broken air conditioning unit and I arrived too late and was too tired to go back to the desk and switch rooms, so they need to replace the manager if they hope to stay in contention. Whether everything will be functioning in your room is pretty much apparently a crap shoot right now.

The staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and stylish. Parking is $22 per night.
