It did look nice, the woman checking me in was very kind but I’ve learned she wasn’t very informative the more I go on. Please note that the valet is not free, it is actually $36.22 out of your $50 incidental. I paid 181 for a night, I’d think that one parking spot would be alotted. I didn’t ask them to go get my car continuously, they parked and then I asked when I needed my car. Maybe “hey this is 36.22” would’ve been nice. From one of the three valet men or the front desk. Now let’s talk about the fire alarm that didn’t seem to be a big deal to anyone. I was so upset to be rudely awoken out of my bed at 7am to run down twelve floors just to essentially get laughed at when I got there “oh false alarm.” How disappointing to my otherwise great weekend.

The rooftop bar was never open during our stay, which was disappointing. The room was big, though the bathroom opened right into the bed area with only a separation for the toilet/shower which made use of the sink area a disturbance if someone was already in bed. Low water pressure, but bearable. It is a historic building so lots of creaks and odd sounds especially at night. The lobby doors stay locked 24/7 and parking is valet only, which we suspected may be due to some security concerns downtown. However, the hotel is in a great spot, close to Beale and other tourist spots which made it easy to walk to many places. Also found a Walgreens within a block that was very useful to grab last minute items or snacks. Breakfast from the hotel was ok but we saw lots of people take advantage of the in-lobby Starbucks for their morning coffee fix. The pillows were pretty flat so if you have sleep concerns you might want to bring your own.

The breakfast buffet was a highlight—everything was served fresh, and the quality of the food was excellent. Adjoining the hotel is Starbucks coffee-It was a great way to start your day. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here!

Clean rooms great location the view from the roof was amazing one of the best prices and staff I’ve ever meet. The bells man are amazing. Me and my family will definitely stay again very soon and this will be our hotel of course for Downtown Memphis.

The quality of the food was a disappointment and not what I’m used to having at a residence inn. However, all the staff was welcoming, helpful, and available.

We stay at several hotels a year and the staff at this Inn was the friendliest and most helpful of any place we have ever stayed. The sheets in the room were not the cleanest and the fold out bed was not comfortable.

Great staff, one young lady at the front desk gave me her dinner because I was hungry and food was closed. I offered to pay and she said she couldn’t. Please find her and give her a raise.

Very nice up to date room. Quiet. Staff was very friendly. Parking off site was a little cheaper and not far away. $26.

The Front desk and valet personnel were some of the friendliest we have encountered. The breakfast needs improvement. Holiday Inn Express Suites blows this breakfast away. Marriott/Residence Inn could benefit from studying them.

We stayed two nights and almost wanted to stay 3. The room was spacious/clean and the bed was so comfortable. We felt safe in the area and even went to the Opheum Theater one night. We would stay here again if ever in the area.

The rooms are spacious and well-maintained but even better than that..... the staff there are exceptional!!!!!! This is my second time coming and it was just as great as the first time!!!! I'll be back next month and any other time I'm in the area!!!

The Marriott Residence Inn is a very nice place to stay in Memphis. It's in a great location in the heart of the city and a 5 minute walk to Beale Street. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was included, at least with my booking, and was excellent.

The room was well supplied with the items you need for a comfortable stay. I loved having a kitchen in my room in the middle of the downtown area, that is rare! The location is wonderful ...walkable to many things; convenience stores, Beale Street, nightlife and a pharmacy! And the front desk staff was absolutely phenomenal ...can't wait to stay here again!

It was nice but downtown Memphis is very nosy.

Our room was very clean, quiet and with a stocked kitchenette. We didn't use very much in the kitchenette. The chair, couch and bed were comfortable. Also had breakfast included. We would stay here again. The only thing that would have been better is if the hotel had it's own parking lot.

Our suite looked and smelled clean. Not a speck of mold in the bathroom. The space was adequate for 3 adults. Hotel staff treated us like family. The rooftop was amazing. I would definitely stay again!

Ima greeted us upon arrival as did the door man. They made you feel special as soon as you arrived. Will definitely be back!

Lovely room with a nice view of the river. The front desk assistant was very helpful and friendly. The attendant who parked our car also helped us with our luggage. We stayed one night. It was a very pleasant stay.

The room was clean and tidy. The staff was welcoming and professional. My primary concern was I reported a constant beeping noise in my room that kept me awake and no one came to resolve the issue. I was unable to rest or relax due to the distractions. Parking was also a bit challenging. The breakfast was great!

We focused on this property as it was walking distance to downtown Beale St., & realized downtown area very sketchy, unfriendly & felt unsafe. Overall, we were able to ✅ our bucket list the days we were in Memphis. Highlight of hotel location, down street from Peabody Hotel “duckies”.

It was a well serviced and secure hotel. However, very few amenities. The room was well maintained, it just needed some refreshing on the ‘edges’. It was a really good location, easy to Beale Street and to the river walk that was pretty well maintained. The breakfast was Marriott standard, fresh but predictable. If it had an indoor pool or at least a bigger gym it would be much better rated

Beware of the person who checks you in when you arrive after midnight! She was a nightmare! We paid for our room 3 months in advance, but this lady had me slide my credit card for what I thought were incidentals. Instead, we were charged again for the room. I showed her my receipt, but she insisted my credit card had declined the charges. She made me pay AGAIN! She was argumentative, and my daughter felt unsafe in her presence. I felt helpless because it was 1:30 a.m. and I needed a place for my daughter to sleep. At 1:45 am, we got to our room, and I had to call Expedia to fix the issue. They said they called her 5 times, but she would not answer the phone. Very, very frustrating to think $1000 was going to be charged to your credit card again. I barely slept, and at 8 am, I went downstairs to speak to the manager. He was very nice and explained that she was confused. He made sure the charges were reversed. Still, the damage was done. I will NEVER stay there again!

The property was clean and updated. The rooms were large and comfortable. The hotel is located downtown Memphis and like other city downtowns some areas are clean and other areas are not. The staff for the most part are very easy to get along with communicate.

They also let us in our rooms early and gave an extra hour for checking out. The complimentary breakfast was amazing! So many choices and perfect scrambled eggs and quiche

Good sized room with kitchen. Super friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable breakfast to meet everyone’s tastes. Not many restaurants on the street, but easy walking distance to Beale St.

We had items under the bed

Ima was the best and calmed my nerves! She told me where I could park and that was the only trouble I ran into. Everything was taken up, it was dark and there was homeless around but she made me feel welcomed and safe!

Staff is super friendly and accommodating! Stopped here for a night traveling across country to move with a cat. Had lots of stuff the staff helped get to my room. The rooms and hotel is pretty and clean. Very close walk to Beale street for a night out. The breakfast was tasty. The clean gym had cardio equipment, free weights, towels, and bottled water. I will remember this for future stays in Memphis TN!

Staff were awesome and provided great information. Pillows were awesome. The electrical outlets by the bed did not work and there is no safe in the room. Nice location, walkable distance to almost everything we wanted to see.

Parking was not connected to the hotel which meant walking around the corner in the rain to arrive and depart or use the valet service. Checking in, my reservation had been given to another person, so we were given a room upgrade for free. The hotel was very convenient to the USCIS field office. Breakfast was great with eggs, sausage and waffles, my wife especially liked.

The bed was literally right in front of the bathroom. When the bathroom is in use and someone walks in or out, the light is bright in your face. The front door only opens 180 degrees. Overall the place is clean!

The hotel ideally situated for visiting the main tourist attractions. Its not 5 star and has seen better days, but the room we had comfortable and had a kitchenette.

Staff at hotel were very nice and welcoming. The hotel itself is not in a very nice area. Lots of empty buildings and construction. Did not feel comfortable walking at night.

Initially checking in was fine, people very friendly. Valet services were very good. BREAKFAST on the other hand, was subpar. Microwaved sausage, so called omelette were terrible, no potato. If you’re going to put in your advertisement BUFFET BREAKFAST, make sure it stands up to a BUFFET. Let’s not forget about the FRUIT. They had fresh fruit mixed with canned fruit. Which is not a good, not only by presentation, but can contaminate other fruit too. This BUFFET was a terrible idea of a BUFFET! For what you have to pay for this hotel fees, you better off staying at a hotel for less $$$$$ without breakfast. NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!

Clean, comfortable room with a kitchenette enabled me to prepare simple meals and to store fruit and salad in the fridge. Quiet and the black out blinds worked well to ensure a good night’s sleep. Big love and thanks to the wonderful Linesia who made us very welcome and went out of her way to help us. Oat milk and walnuts available at breakfast that made it easy for me as a vegan.

The room was clean, in good repair, adequate size, and with a kitchenette. Best was a solid breakfast offering with PORCELAIN plates/bowls/mugs and METAL utensils--a much more elegant presentation and less trash.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The property is older but in pretty good shape. Our room was clean but there was a slight odor of either stale air or unwashed body. Not sure where it was coming from. Breakfast area is very nice with a street view and fireplace. Coffee was flavorful and hot.

I arrived very early in town. I was provided my room and offered to have breakfast. The staff was awesome. The accommodations were beyond my expectations. Excellent stay!

Nice hotel, perfect position to walk along Main Street to the top of Beale Street. Staff very helpful- just a shame that the roof top bar was closed and looks as though been closed for some time. Was the perfect 2night stay to explore Memphis and visit Gracelands

I would unfortunately never stay in this hotel again.

I wanted to give a huge thank you to the front desk and valet staff, they were ALL absolutely fantastic. I felt bad for the valet staff though, I made a comment jokingly to the valet when I saw both attendants in the vehicle when they pulled up my rental car…I shouted, “I know ya’ll ain’t joy riding in my car”. It was literally me just kidding with them, apparently they got in trouble from management due to that comment. My apologies to the valet staff, I hope management learns the difference between an innocent joke and a genuine concern/complaint.

The noise from the machines outside the room, which you could hear throughout our full floor. Which kept us awake at night. We had to buy some safety ear plugs in the end in order to try and get some sleep.
