Reviews
The hotel is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and convenient location, with many attractions within walking distance. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful. However, some guests have complained about noise, either from traffic or other guests, and a few have mentioned issues with the breakfast.
- Convenient location with many attractions within walking distance
- High cleanliness standards and comfortable rooms
- Noise issues, either from traffic or other guests
- Breakfast not meeting some guests' expectations

I stayed here with my husband and two teenagers. The location is within walking distance of Beale Street, the room was super clean and had 2 queen beds instead of doubles, and the location was super quiet. The parking is included in the price and you can park your own car, which is a miracle if you look at the other hotels near Beale. We never had a problem finding a close parking spot either. As for the breakfast, there was a lot of variety (eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, nutella, coffee, hot water for tea, etc.). Just a note for the hotel, the fragrant smell in the lobby is overwhelming to people with perfume allergies. If our room had smelled like that, we would have had to leave. Thankfully, the smell was just in the lobby. We would highly recommend this hotel as a clean, comfortable experience in the heart of downtown Memphis!
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Close to Beale Street and downtown. Comfortable beds, clean facility
- 5/5
Breakfast was okey, parking feels safe and easy. Lacking closet space to hang clothes.
- 4/5
I loved our stay there, great breakfast, clean room, well kept property!!
- 4/5
Excellent location for exploring Beale street and various points of interest. Great value for money. Staff helpful. Room very large with good bathroom. Walking distance to Beale st
- 5/5
Please put a car park entry sign at the entrance as that is twice we have driven passed it
- 4/5
Great location for visiting Sun Records and Pebody and Beale street.
- 5/5
Our Room was VeryClean, Bed Linens & Mattresses were Fantastic, Parking was well lit, Enter & Exits were Very Accessible & Secure, Breakfast was Great with a lot of variety, & Very Convenient to Beale St & other entertainment areas. We would Definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean. Check-in was easy. However, I did expect a bit more variety for breakfast. It was also in a part of town that was a bit old.
- 5/5
The facility was definitely a great experience. The lobby and hallway smelled amazing, the room was clean and functional and check-in was smooth. The bed was also very comfortable. Thanks for a great stay! One of the wall outlets didn't work.
- 5/5
Clean and secure.
- 4/5
Was a nice and clean hotel, in a good location for seeing the sights. Parking was fine and not as expensive as others in the area, still think it should be free for guests. Breakfast was basic, but ok to start the day. Staff were not very welcoming or friendly, definitely an area that could be improved to make you feel more welcome.
- 3.5/5
Signage easy to see and find. Comfortable room with hairdryer, refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave. Free wifi, free gated self parking. Continental breakfast included. Not as close to Beale Street restaurants and music bars as I expected from the description. Not as walkable when the weather is steaming hot.
- 4/5
Very nice property, obviously redone not too long ago. Staff were great. Breakfast good and hot but, not a lot of variety. Property was ann easy walk to Beale street attractions and restaurants. Parking was plentiful and safe feeling. Only complaint was the room was too small for two queen beds.
- 4/5
Surrounding grounds could have used a little upkeep. The curtains and furniture were a little worn. Other than that, everything was clean and functional and the staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and accommodating from the start. Hotel seemed pretty busy and everyone seem to be enjoying their stay. All facilities were clean and well taken care of. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
.5 from Beale Street
- 5/5
Nothing. It was all great!
- 5/5
Clean rooms, comfy beds.
- 4/5
Excellent, sensible, modern choice. It's a nice, new, comfortable hotel, but perhaps the best feature is the big parking lot and free parking. Hotels in the city center charge up to $40 a night to park, but at La Quinta you are less than a 10 minute walk from many of those hotels but with much easier (and cheaper) parking. Plus, it's a nice place to stay. Very friendly staff. A nice little free breakfast. A well stocked food pantry if you need something at any hour. Staying here, you are quite close to Beale Street, FedEx center, and the city center. It's a little desolate for the first couple minutes of a walk to any of these places, but the walk is along a wide, well-lit major street, so that part of the walk feels pretty safe even later at night.
- 4.5/5
Location to downtown was walkable, free parking, free breakfast, clean room, and friendly staff No complaints
- 5/5
Nice hotel within walking distance to all downtown attractions. Hotel looks brand new. Very impressed with cleanliness and well-designed interiors of room. Very good experience. Will stay here again if possible next time we are in Memphis.

Internet
- 3/5
Breakfast was good, but we did not think anything special about this hotel except it did not look like safe neighborhood…..
- 5/5
This was my second time staying at this hotel, I also discovered it is dog friendly so bringing the pups next time!
- 5/5
It was clean and very bright. The lobby and sitting area was very nice.
- 2.5/5
The air conditioner sucked never went below 74⁰. We had to go buy a fan to cool off the room
- 3.5/5
It was close to Beale Street
- 2/5
Scraped doors to enter rooms, but the rooms were clean and updated, comfortable bed, but there were other noisy guests with constantly barking dogs made it a difficult night. We were not offered a non-pet area
- 5/5
Very pleased. Clean, comfortable, attentive staff. One of the best places I’ve stayed.
- 0.5/5
Not much Employees racial profiling
- 5/5
Very good hotel. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Good location.
- 5/5
Bed and pillows was comfortable.
- 5/5
The staff was great and the Beds were nice.
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Great to have free parking ~ good location too!
- 5/5
Check in was fast and informative. Plenty of free parking with gated lot. Breakfast wasn’t great but coffee was good. Didn’t have anything sugar free like jelly or syrup. Room was clean and bathroom spacious. Located within walking distance of some great restaurants.
- 2/5
The front desk staff is incredibly not helpful and there never is someone at the desk and always have to wait for them to get there. Their phone calling is terrible I called to recive a receipt and they kept putting me on hold not answering my question and ignoring the call
- 4/5
This is my favorite budget friendly hotel to stay at when I visit Memphis. Walking distance to anything downtown, free parking onsite, and a clean environment. I do wish there were more options for hot breakfast and labels on food to indicate allergens. There was a slight issue with my booking through Expedia, but the hotel staff handled it when I checked in without much fuss.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Hotel located within 1/2 mile of Beale Street. I felt safe walking home late at night.
- 3/5
Breakfast wasn’t anything special. There were some black bugs that were found in the bathroom at night (not bed bugs, likely just some time of beetle due to the moisture).
- 4/5
Typical LaQuinta, excellent rooms with nice beds and clean bathroom. Close to Beale St. which can be good and bad. Saturday night was terrible with Very Loud cars going up and down Union Ave! Probably would stay there again if we ever went back to Memphis.
- 5/5
Great location, free parking, allover cleanness, very nice rooms and super comfortable bed. We felt very safe there. Could be slightly cheaper!
- 4/5
Great location to Receptionist was friendly
- 5/5
I had a very nice stay and all of the staff were very professional and friendly, and made me feel right at home! Great to see the wonderful Keisha again!
- 4/5
Good location with easy parking and walkability to many sites/restaurants.
- 5/5
Room was clean but noisy overnight from traffic. Curtains did not keep the building lights from illuminating the room overnight. Buffet Breakfast was good but no daily alternative option.
- 1/5
My room was unavailable when I arrived.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff Several homeless persons around the hotel location.
- 3/5
Very close to Beale Street action, neighborhood around hotel is run down. Nothing to write home about, price was good but otherwise nothing special.
- 5/5
Location was close enough to walk to Beale but neighborhood was a little sketchy. Would have been nice if a trolley was available
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 4.5/5
TV at the end of the bed didn't work
- 1/5
Clean and friendly Pillows
- 4/5
Other wise it was great. I loved the sheets and would like to know the brand!!!
- 5/5
Had 4 rooms reserved for entire family and everything was wonderful. My only complaint was one room wanted to pay using her PayPal account and another using her Chime Credit card. Neither was allowed and nor was cash accepted.
- 3/5
Room was clean. I could not get face towels and the breakfast was not what was said
- 5/5
Nice hotel....surprisingly...good location..about a 10-15 walk from Beale St....huge room and great breakfast....parking was easy...great staff...i would definitely stay again...
- 5/5
The room very clean, beds and bedding were very comfy. I also appreciated the upgraded toiletries in refillable bottles - more environmentally friendly and easier to dispense then trying to squeeze a tiny plastic bottle.
- 4/5
Everything was good except the road noise was very loud
- 5/5
I loved everything but the breakfast. I wished it had a better variety of food to choose from.
- 3/5
Breakfast was less then average cold eggs not much of a selection. Room seemed clean but over used air freshener almost unbearable, the parking was sufficient.
- 5/5
Great location. Easy walk to Beale Street.
- 4/5
The breakfast was fresh and hot and delicious The location was great for a Beale street experience
- 5/5
Great breakfast. Large clean room. Really nice shower.
- 4/5
The breakfast was fresh and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
- 5/5
Nice location. Free parking within walking distance to downtown.
- 5/5
Easy walk to the Peabody to see the ducks and to the entertainment on Beale Street.
- 3/5
The biggest complaint was the traffic noise was terrible, sounded like drag racing all hours of the night.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly, easy walk to Beale Street. A good stay.
- 4/5
Took us a while to work out how to get into the carpark. The electric gates were not working and we passed the entrance and had to go back around several times. When we tried to leave there was no one on reception and the automatic doors were locked. I rang bell and no one came....eventually we found a side exit open....although the first side escape route was bolted....bit worrying of there is fire!
- 5/5
Great Staff
- 5/5
Usual breakfast nothing breakfast options
- 5/5
Had a tad bit of difficulty finding the parking drive but after we got checked in the room was awesome. Very comfy bed super large clean room. I was very impressed. The continental breakfast was excellent!!! Most definitely recommend.
- 5/5
From the minute we stepped in the door until our Uber picked us up for departure, the staff treated us like welcomed friends. We arrived early hoping to store our bags until check in time. Abhi checked us in with such a gracious and accommodating manner , we knew we had made the right choice in accommodations. The rooms were clean, tastefully decorated, and beds super comfortable. We appreciated the flavored water and coffee available when ever we needed some. The only less that A+ area we found was the pool - and that was because of the chlorine aroma that permeated the area. Even with that, I still rate this location the accommodations as great and the staff as superior. Thanks for helping us end our vacation in a super high note.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was very nice and easy to talk to. The breakfast was fresh every morning and we were about a ten to fifteen minute walk from all festivities. Parking was a outside not a garage, but it was gated in with one way in and out. It felt very safe. I Can not complain ,rather park in the open at the hotel instead of the dark garages that people had to pay for. I really enjoyed my stay. Will be coming back.
- 4/5
Clean hotel very nice staff enjoyable day
- 4/5
The oranges at breakfast were very good and fresh.
- 4/5
Everything was ok
- 4/5
Our room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable, and the toiletries were of good quality. There was some.loud noises during the night from outside the hotel, loud engines accelerating several times. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
- 4/5
Great check in staff, very helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful staff, good parking walking distance to museums.
- 5/5
For the price room and area was excellent! My husband actually left his phone in the room. I called back to the hotel 20 minutes later and they had it waiting at the desk for us!
- 2/5
You cannot charge drinks or snacks from their shot to your room like every other hotel so they make guests accomodate their issue. I would not stay there again.
- 5/5
The bed was soooo comfortable and the shower was amazing! A short mWalking distance to Beale st, The Peabody hotel to see the ducks of course!
- 5/5
Parking felt safe. The room was clean and staff was friendly
- 4/5
Parking was great! Front desk staff was super friendly. House keeping runs pretty late. Our beds weren’t made until almost 5 pm. Breakfast was good!
- 4/5
The pool on the other hand was not usable. The recirculating pump was not turned on and there were scads of dead insects on the surface of the water. A complaint to the front desk was answered basically with a shrug. We'll get someone tomorrow to look at it. Unacceptable.
- 4/5
Bteakfast was good and parking was good
- 5/5
Our stay was quite pleasant, considering the circumstances of why we were there (our granddaughter was airlifted to St. Jude and was dying). The staff were excellent, friendly, warm and welcoming. The breakfast was yummy. I especially liked the lemon water and orange water. Everything was perfectly clean. My favorite part is the self parking (I hate valet parking). This was impressive, considering that this hotel is located in downtown Memphis. The closeness to St. Jude Hospital was also a major factor, and it delivered on that. Overall, I was impressed.
- 5/5
Clean modern spacious room, good breakfast and close to everything
- 5/5
And yes.
- 4/5
Hotel is dated and needs updates. Bed was okay. Hard to get the AC working correctly - either too cold or too warm and very loud. Noisy - could hear people above us and noise from the hallway.
- 5/5
Friendly and thorough Staff
- 2/5
Propert was average. Located in a very busy part of Memphis a lot of traffic.
- 5/5
Room clean, very accessible to Forum and Beale St. easy walk to both. Staff was nice
- 5/5
Clean room - easy check in.
- 4/5
The staff were friendly and the pool was nice. Easily walkable up Beale St.
- 4/5
The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and the breakfast options were good
- 4/5
Clean, friendly, decent breakfast, small but usable pool, however some of the in-bathroom handrails and door handles were loosely mounted. Would stay again as the downsides were likely limited to the particular room and not the hotel as a whole.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean hotel
- 5/5
Pleasant, hassle free stay.
- 5/5
We arrived 10 minutes before checkin. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We were there for 1 night. Breakfast was OK, scrambled eggs and sausage. Pancakes and other breakfast items available. Out the door on to our next destination.
- 3/5
There was a lot of traffic noise and it was farther from Beale Street than we wanted to be.
- 5/5
Less than a 10 minute walk to both areas. Literally anything you want within walking distance. The hotel and the room were spotlessly cleaned. The staff was professional and kind. Free breakfast that was amazing. Free Parking. All in all it’s the only place I would stay.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
We liked the location and enjoyed the nearby access to Beale Street
- 5/5
Nice room comfortable bed and pillows. Good shower. We had an issue with the TV and the young man on duty came up and fixed it. Very polite and personable.
- 3/5
Nice clean
- 4/5
Didn’t use internet
- 3/5
Yes
- 3/5
Very clean room, great location. Breakfast poor, no fresh juice, limited choice of foods. Check in staff brilliant, lady on reception on evening not very helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room, hotel smelled amazing and close walking distance to Beale St.
- 5/5
As far as we could tell, was the only place downtown that had free parking and only 25 for pet fee. The place was very clean and could tell how hard the cleaning crew worked at keeping it that way. Same breakfast as everywhere. We would definitely stay again if we ever went back to Memphis.
- 5/5
Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The fenced in parking area was a huge plus and felt very safe. Check in and out were very smooth. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5

- 5/5
Room was great. well kept and clean. Staff was very friendly
- 5/5
Great breakfast options and location to downtown.
- 2/5
The pool was absolutely sick. My 6 year old referred to it as fish bowl water. The water was so cloudy and full of floating clumps of hair and bandaids. I would definitely never stay there again.
- 5/5
Great hotel nice and clean
- 5/5
Room was great! Hotel was accommodating to our dog and he did a great job. Thank you!
- 5/5

- 5/5
The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was also good and parking was convenient and well lighted.
- 5/5
Nice, clean atmosphere. Staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 1/5
I was charged by expedia and la Quinta.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable bed. Nice location
- 3/5
We were sent to this hotel because it's the "sister hotel" of Crown Plaza, which was over booked and canceled our reservation unexpectedly. However, its location didn't work for us and the promised shuttle service was not as prompt as expected. We stayed here for one night because it was late and inconvenient to find another hotel on that day....Luckily no other issues. Everything here is okay, not impressed.
- 3/5
Conveniently Located
- 5/5
Staff was great and room was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Room was spacious and clean.
- 5/5
Friendliest de esk staff and housekeeping crew! Very nice rooms, great stay
- 4/5
Good all around hotel
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Excelent
- 3/5
Outside traffic noise was terrible, lasted till about minute, then cc again at 5:30am, very little sleep v 😢😢😢
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Walking distance to downtown
- 4/5
Spacious, clean room and breakfast area very clean. It was also within easy walking distance from Downtown Memphis. (5 min walk to Peabody - to see ducks). We had one issue with security. The fire exit door had been wedged open with a stone and there was a man sleeping on the top floor stair landing one night. It was cold out, but perhaps camera security needs improving.
- 5/5
We brought our E bikes and felt safe leaving in them in the SUV as the parking lot was well lit.
- 2/5
Nobody in the front desk and cannot get in until some other people come out.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Clean and free parking and walk to Beale st!
- 5/5
Yes very professional
- 4/5
Great parking. Plenty of it. Breakfast more than adequate. Room good and clean. Problem checking in. Front door was locked and there was no one attention to let in in me and another guest. Probably 15 minutes went by before a guest who had a key was able to let us in. We had already walked all round the hotel hoping there was another entrance open, but there wasn’t. The receptionist had left a notice to say they weren’t available, but there was no way we could read that from outside.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Had nice grass areas for dogs on the premises.
- 3/5
Ac was inconsistent. Beds were extremely uncomfortable
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. Heat A/C a little tough to work. Either kept heat off until it got too cool and turned it on for a while.
- 5/5
Everything is fine
- 5/5
Etc.
- 5/5
Great and Excellent!
- 5/5
Great stay! Polite, friendly staff. Very clean!!
- 4/5
Nice quiet , comfortable room- close to Beale- with ok breakfast- ( but not there for the food)
- 3/5
Bathroom cleanliness could have been better. More breakfast options for guests with allergies.
- 4/5
Great location, free parking, easy and safe walking distance from downtown. Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
The room was clean. We appreciated the parking and being able to have our pup for a fair price.
- 4/5
Very convenient location
- 5/5
This hotel is great! It is convenient to downtown Memphis, especially the Fed Ex Center and Beale Street. It is very quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean. Housekeeping cleans the room every day. Breakfast is decent—waffles, toast, oatmeal, cereal and sausage and eggs. It is a great place to say when visiting downtown Memphis..
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. We were impressed at the cleanliness of the facility. The colors were modern and carpeting nice. The lobby is set up well and staffing attentive. They helped with dining/ walking suggestions and were friendly. We would stay here again. Great value!
- 5/5
I could niot control the AC
- 5/5
Very clean.
- 4/5
It was a good hotel but I experienced some minor issues during my stay
- 5/5
Staff were terrific, adequate room, close to geverything!
- 4/5
Bench in the gym needs to be fixed. Nice stay overall.
- 5/5
Very clean and easy to access. Parking was convenient and safe. Easy to walk to downtown, Beale St, ball game, etc. Breakfast was a bonus. Check in staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
The whole hotel always smelled beautifully clean. The bed was comfy, staff friendly and helpful. Loved the free coffee bar. Really enjoyable stay.
- 5/5
Overall a very nice property Breakfast was pretty bad.
- 4/5
Clean room. Friendly staff. Good location as it was close enough to walk to Beale Street but far enough that you didn’t hear Beale all night. Would have given it a 5 but breakfast was not great and the same everyday.
- 4/5
Everything was good. The rooms are dark. Need more light.
- 4/5
The only thing I didn’t like was the beds were really high and my mattress would slide around on the base, not a big deal, just a little annoying.
- 4/5
Room spacious and bed comfortable , gym very good especially temperature , breakfast good but would have liked plain oatmeal available and a variety of hot food not the same each day. Front desk staff very pleasant .
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 5/5
Nice room and nice staff. We liked the location
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay here. Our Suite was very large, including the bathroom. The shower was great, which included the overhead spray, as well as an attached sprayer. Everything was very clean. The bed and couchcwere very comfortable. The heat and A/C were very efficient. Only about 5 minutes walking distance to Beale Street and the FedExArena. Great location. Breakfast adequate, not much variety. Great hotel & we will stay here again. We felt very safe.
- 5/5
The scrambled eggs at breakfast tasted nothing
- 4/5
Everything was good except the first night. Someone was playing loud music after 10 pm.
- 5/5
La Quinta has officially become my go to on vacation after this trip cross country. The room in Memphis was clean and inviting and only a few blocks walk to Beale Street. We felt safe walking at night to and from the hotel. The staff was very friendly. We left too early to have breakfast but there was decent coffee.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good with a decent variety of options. Hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly. The area was very walkable, convenient to Beale Street and many different restaurants.
- 4/5
This is a nice hotel with a nice staff. I loved the murals on the wall of the City of Memphis! Breakfast was good but served on paper plates! Parking was safe and convenient. I don't think the surrounding area is great. The hotel was convenient for us to see Beale Street and Graceland (only a few miles away). Overall it worked for us.
- 5/5
Nice quiet property staff very friendly
- 4/5
Okay
- 5/5
well situated just a few minutes walk to the bars etc easy parking and they had a good selection for breakfast
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Plenty of parking available. In a quiet area within walking distance of Beale Street.
- 4/5
There is nothing really wrong with the property but everything is hit and miss. Some staff were great others unknowledgeable, seating stained, wall paper pealing and nobody cleaning the floors or policing the cigarette bitts by the door etc. It was close but not quite and at the price point you can probably find better
- 5/5
Great location near Beale Street and the Peabody hotel! Comfy bed, great shower. Staff is helpful. We stayed 2 nights on our southeastern road trip.
- 5/5
Lovely clean hotel. Excellent location. 10 minute walk to Beale Street. The hotel is on a busy road, so if your room is near the road it is a bit noisy during the night. Still dont let this put you off as the staff are lovely as is the breakfast. Free coffee 24/7
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly & accommodating. Very clean and conveniently located to Beale Strret & museums.
- 5/5
Property was great for walking to Beale Street and Downtown Memphis. Also easy to find and ample parking.
- 5/5
The building is was very and clean up to date. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Clean room. I needed non-feather pillows and blanket. Avi went out of his way to accommodate me. Breakfast was alright. Elevator issues. Other than that, it was a nice hotel convenient to Beale street.
- 5/5
Small pet areas, but you had them...all that matters😁
- 5/5
Room was spacious, clean, and well furnished. Staff couldn't have been better. Breakfast selection was great and the eating area is grouped for couples, quads, etc. so that everyone has their privacy. That area was maintained well - staff cleaned each table and chair as folks left, so it was always clean for the next guests. My only complaint is - PRUNE THOSE ROSEBUSHES on the entry walkway. I was snagged and poked more than once. You are so busy managing your luggage that you simply don't see them. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
- 5/5
Always friendly staff with super clean rooms! Great breakfast and easily walkable to Beale street
- 5/5
This property was a peaceful getaway I will definitely come back
- 5/5
Very nice property just a few blocks from downtown. Within walking distance of restaurants, polite staff. Very nice rooms and property.
- 4/5
Parking was easy and available plus the lot was on a gated compound. The area was quiet and within walking distance to Beal Street.
- 3/5
Reasonable location for downtown Memphis. Overall hotel looks tired and in need of an upgrade.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Room spacious and clean let down by a lumpy bed and pillows. Swimming pool nice, clean and warm with towels provided. Breakfast the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, bread, orange juice, etc, etc. Having to wait for the lift was a pain to go one floor but the stairs took you straight out to the street or car park, there were no internal stairs. Walking distance to the Peabody Hotel and Beale Street but we didn’t feel safe walking back from Beale Street in the dark. Would I stay here again? No because I wouldn’t go to Memphis again. Would I recommend to a friend? Yes if they were going to Memphis.
- 5/5
This hotel was very clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance a Beale Street and other attractions in downtown Memphis.
- 4/5
Great location! Good breakfast and hotel is in great condition. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, bagles, toast, fruit, yogurt. Area is questionable for walking as there seemed to be a lot of homeless people around the area, however there was also a good police presence.
- 3/5
Good breakfast, spacious room, however did feel vulnerable whilst walking around the area.
- 1/5
This hotel should not be rated at 9.2. There were huge bugs on the bathroom walls. The lamp shade was busted and damaged. There was blood smeared on the walls, the toilet would not flush. When I went downstairs to let staff know, none of the staff seem to care or even apologize, however I was moved to another room. I asked for a manager and they stated the manager will be available Monday and to write a email. I wrote an email and on Monday upon checking out there was no manager available. I was told I would receive a phone call and not yet to receive any phone call from management. DO NOT STAY AT THIS LAQUINTA. Service and hotel is absolutely horrible. Your better off paying a little more money for something better.

I booked 3 nights at the hotel because it was listed with Airport shuttle service. When I called to confirm, I was told they no longer offer. It was too late for me to cancel my reservation. I checked in late Friday, I noticed a group of kids coming in and noise outside the back entrance sitting area til 11pm. Saturday evening, after returning from dinner, kids were running in the hallway banging on guest doors. I immediately jumped up to see what was happening and I notify the front desk. I went to talk to staff on duty and discovered slippery floor inside and outside of the elevator lobby from the pool. Staff tried to assist the best she could. I met with the GM to share my concerns. She was apologetic and ensure me she will handle the concern for safety matters.

I like how clean the property is, but I was pieced off when the hotel manager told us that we have to move to another room downstairs because the person next door said our kids was making noise and that they don’t want to hear the noise of our kids.

The beds were firm but comfortable, nice amenities, close to Beale street. Breakfast available but not many choices. Staff helpful & friendly. Nicely lit parking lot. Would stay here again!
- 3/5
No towels at swimming pool two nights in a row. Front desk staff was preoccupied with their cell phone and rude. Airport type luggage carts are unwieldy and hard to navigate. Would not come back.
- 1/5
Due to my fight being disrupted at no fault of our own , my daughter and I were unable to get another connecting flight to finish our trip so we
- 4/5
Many nights we were woken up by people talking in the hallway.
- 5/5
Conveniently located, huge spacious rooms, friendly and helpful front desk personnel, very clean, incredibly comfortable bed & pillows.
- 5/5
It was a relaxing trip. Definitely to advantage of Beale Street.
- 1/5
Absolutely vile hotel. The elevators and hallway smell like unrecognizable toxic fumes, and the sheets had a large blood stain and hair from prior guests. The hotel was poorly understaffed and check in took twenty minutes because no one was at the front desk. We paid about $140 and even that was overpriced.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Last minute decision to stay in Memphis. Wanted something near Beale Street. This was extremely close with a less than 10 minute walk. Check in was efficient. Staff friendly. Good location overall
- 2/5
Twice the elevators did not work. We were on the 4th floor. We were leaving at 4:45am and had to carry down our luggage 4 floors. We called for someone to help us, but no one answered. We are in our 70’s. The breakfast did not have good oatmeal.
- 2/5
One elevator was broken the entire 4 day stay and the other one broke several times for numerous hours. We were on the 4th floor, the climb with luggage and a handicapped family member was unacceptable. The front desk was no help not even offering to carry items and due to a full capacity hotel they couldn’t move rooms. Breakfast was underwhelming. Elliptical machine was broken. Dirty towels were re hung on the racks. We stayed here years ago and it was nothing like this. I will not be coming back.

Easy to go to and from places

Lots of elevator problems
- 5/5
Would have given all 5 stars but the elevator broke down the day we were leaving. These things happen
- 4/5
Quiet, breakfast excellent

Street noise was not the best (loud racing cars and bikes) at night on the side I stayed on. Might have been better on the other end of motel. Otherwise excellent !

Great location, walkable to Beale street!
- 4/5
Convenient location for the Monroe St. apartments. Short walk to Beale St. Property is in decent condition. Reasonable prices.
- 5/5
The property itself very clean and safely tucked in. The surrounding area could use some sprucing up but that is a city deal-it happens in some dtwn areas.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice, the beds comfy, the staff pleasant. However, they were having issues with their elevator the night we arrived (was able to use it once), and the next morning so we had to walk 4 flights of stairs. My husband has a bum knee so struggled. When we left, the elevator wasn’t working so I had to make the trip up 4 flights of stairs 3 times to get all our stuff.
- 5/5
Room was clean, spacious, bed comfortable. Staff very friendly.
- 5/5
Great deal when traveling with dogs.
- 5/5
Great customer service!
- 5/5
The memory foam bed was fantastic, and the sheets were clean. The air conditioning worked, though it felt like the unit might be nearing the end of its life. Overall, the room was good, but it did seem like housekeeping had been a bit lazy with vacuuming in one of the corners—which makes me wonder what other details might have been overlooked. That aside, the staff were absolutely lovely, polite, and very helpful.

Close to the Red Birds
- 5/5
Upon arrival we were greeted by a nice young man. Made us feel very welcome, let us know parking and breakfast were included. We paid using OneKey Cash and he let me know that nothing else was needed. We have stayed here before, and as with out last stay, this place is top notch. Super clean, great breakfast. Walking distance to Beale Street and right by the Red Bird's Baseball Park. Would recommend and would stay here, again.

Everything was great
- 5/5
Nicer and cleaner than most Laquintas
- 3/5
The morning we checked out the elevator was inoperable. Had to lug all our luggage down three flights of stairs. At checkout we were told a manager would be in touch to respond to our dissatisfaction. No one ever contacted us. Pretty disappointing.

Sheets had black spots. Staff unprofessional
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff, easy parking, convenient walk to Beale Street and Main Street. Right by Red Birds’ arena and FedEx Arena was just down the street. It was a bit of a walk to the Civil Rights Museum but gave us a chance to see more of the city. Definitely recommend.
- 3/5
No security at all. Fenced in parking is good but homeless sleeping on front steps of property. Broken doors on entrance to property.
- 4/5
Excellent value in the downtown. It was less than a 10 minute walk to most of the attractions and restaurants, ie., Beale Street, the FedEx Forum, the Peabody Hotel, and several famous eateries. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and they serve free breakfast. Good experience, great price.

If ever in Memphis I will stay here again

B E W A R E... if you have disability issues! Or, any other issues that you need to have resolved through Kesha, the manager. Checked into La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Memphis Downtown on July 17-20. We stayed on the 4th Floor - $520.35. Friday and Saturday elevators were not working entire day. I've had a right total hip and a left knee replacement, also Asthma. Had to walk 4 flights of stairs in hot stairwell Friday evening. Saturday morning elevator was working; Saturday afternoon not working so I was unable to attend dinner with team because I could not do stairs. Saturday night my daughter had to again walk the 4 flights; did not ask to be moved because no rooms wee available, per parents in our group that tried to stay here. Asked for adjustment to my bill for the inconvenience, but Kesha/Manager's attitude was nonchalant and flippant. Sent email to Mr. Patel, owner, per her suggestion, to date no response. This is unacceptable and unreasonable and a negative for this hotel that otherwise would have been perfect (clean, kind staff, good breakfast and location). I will continue to seek resolution.

Very nice property. Great staff. Comfy beds. Loved having frig and microwave for reheating food. Walking distance to Beale St entertainment area and restaurants. Property felt safe and well lit. Not too fond of abandoned property across the street.
- 5/5
Location was very convenient, clean hotel and friendly staff.
- 5/5
I was really impressed with this property. The property was clean inside and outside. The staff was friendly and informative especially with places to eat. The room was very clean, updated, and the linen was super clean. I was comfortable enough to walk on the carpet in the room with no socks or shoes on lol. Highly recommended!!!
- 4/5
It was sufficient! Staff was great!
- 4/5
Good location to Beale Street, older hotel showing its age. Felt like we were at a hip hop convention
- 4/5
Pool was nice after a hot day on motorcycle.
- 4/5
All was great until we got ready to go down stairs for breakfast. They had two elevators and I was not working when we got there. This morning neither was working. We were on the third floor and my husband is disabled and unable to help get anything down the stairs. They sent one housekeeper to help, but I told her I needed more. She ended up having another young lady come. They should have had the other elevator worked on since it had been out for a week.

I was impressed with La Quinta...it's been a long time since I stayed at this hotel. I felt pampered and was quite comfortable. Thanks!

Very nice hotel walking distance from Beale Street. Could do with a small bar to have a beer in the evening.
- 5/5
The location was great. Easy, safe parking!
- 4/5
The property was hard to find the location was terrible
- 5/5
Otherwise clean, convenient and staff very nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Staff was nice. Place was clean. Free breakfast was good. The zooming cars outside at night that apparently Memphis is known for nowadays woke my husband up but I didn’t hear them.
- 5/5
Amazingly clean hotel with a gym and indoor pool. Hot breakfast every morning. Staff is attentive and helpful. Free parking close to Autozone Arena, FedEx, Beale Street. You don’t really need a car if you stay here. Room is spacious. Ideal centralized location. Worth the reason price.
- 5/5
We had a great stay! All staff was top notch; friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good too. Only issue was we were in Room 128 and had a 15 year old dog with arthritis with us. The closest door accessing outside for her had no re-entry without walking a distance to the front lobby and down a long hall or around the back. That part was tough. But…all in all a very nice stay.
- 4/5
Good location with free parking and breakfast. Good value
