The hot tub was broken and the pool was out of order. The pool was supposed to be fixed for our return stay, but it wasn’t. The TV in our room didn’t work and the ice machine was out of order. It seemed as though the staff was unconcerned with the issues we had. Oh, and the light when we went into our room didn’t work. We had to go across the room and turn on a lamp.

The hotel was clean, beds comfortable, housekeepers were wonderful. The pool was not open due to a repair, they should of noted that on the website and when we checked in Friday night the front dest lady wasn't the friendliness

I would not recommend this hotel the staff was Ky friendly at all very nonchalant and uncaring. Hotel smelled musty and furniture was old and dated. The bed linens were dirty and when I asked for more the staff wasn’t concerned as to why just stated I would need to come and pick them up. The bed had dried bloody mucus in 2 spots on the bed long hairs were on the second bantams sheets along with dirt. The shower also had someone long hair in it.

Lots of internal noise with the bathroom fan extraordinarily loud and connected with light switch so could not turn it off without turning off the light. Had a 1-2 second burst of the fire alarm in the room, dogs barking down the hall, Etc.

The hotel needs to be undated

The location I told them several times my tv wasnt working they kept telling me they notified management everything me & my husband went to desk we didnt have tv access the whole stay they never address or get back to us we was very dissatisfied with not having the situation addressed or taken care of.

I reserved 2 queens but only a king was available. My son, who has cerebral Palsy had to sleep in the floor because there were no more rooms. The tv in our room didn’t work. We got a new room on the second day. There was an oil leak coming in above the door making the floor wet. Had to change rooms. The rooms were old and worn. They need to be updated. We only had 2 towels. The pillows were very hard.

Parking was easy. Shower had mold in it. Also, sink did not have cold water (water only came out hot, and it got very hot, very quickly). When I mentioned at check out, I didnt even get an apology or an offer of a reduced room rate. The desk clerk only said that she would mention to the manager. I could not recommend this place.

Hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent. My only disappointment was the pool and spa were not open. A staff member told me the spa hadn't been open since 2021. I would definitely stay again, but they should update their information if the pool and spa are not open.

Nothing unique about the motel, but certainly adequate. The suite was spacious. We didn’t like that we couldn’t turn off the noisy bathroom exhaust fan, leaving just the lights on, especially when it didn’t take out the steam from a shower and left the bathroom mirror all fogged up anyway.

Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very safe walking my dog around the property at 10pm.

Overall a pretty good aesthetic. Other guests made the pool area not so pleasant and the hot tub didn't work.

Where do we start. Nasty, dirty, run down, not safe, etc. Coffee maker inside bathroom, furniture broken and full of scuffed marks, linens not changed. We left four hours after checking in. Chose to sleep in the car.

The first room we were checked into reeked of sewage or a funky smell, like it was lingering, or it had been there for a while. Once we addressed this to the front desk staff, they allowed us to moved rooms and the issue was resolved. In the New room, there was paint, chipping off walls, inside the restroom.

The breakfast was good. I really enjoyed the pool all for myself. I will come back for sure. Thank you.

Noisy room, we heard the elevator all night. The mattress was old and soft. They gave us an accessibility room when I explicitly chose one that was but on Hotels.com. The shower was in a bathtub with a diverter to a small hand held hose and the diverter was broken so you couldn't use the overhead shower. The fan in the bathroom was really loud. The refrigerator didn't keep our food cold.

Fitness & ice machines needed upkeep. Furniture needed refreshing. Finishes were worn.

Clean, roomy and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

great room, clean and quiet

The room was bigger than we anticipated which was nice and it was clean. The indoor pool was cold and the “hot tub” didn’t even get warm. When we went to ask for an extra pillow the lady at the front desk said they were out of them and of towels which seems pretty ridiculous for the weekend. I wish they had at least one non-pork meat option at the breakfast bar but that’s pretty normal for most hotels. It wasn’t the worst but also not sure we’d rebook.

Other than that it was clean and comfortable.

This is not my first time staying at la Quinta. Me and my husband were there after Christmas and the lady at the front desk was rude and I felt discriminated for being hispanic. This time as always they gave me the las room far from the elevators and the bed in the room it sounded like it was going to break every time I moved to the point that I would wake up my granddaughter during the night when I used the restroom. It was horrible, never going back there for sure even if I have to pay more for my comfort

It did the trick but it needs some updating. Paint peeling everywhere, most furniture was worn, not super clean, and the pool was hotter than the hot tub… the hot tub was very dirty

The staff was so friendly and kind upon arrival. Really helped me with my large dog who had mobility issues. I had stayed here before and loved it, but I will always stay here in the future after my last visit. Above and beyond! Many thanks!

Breakfast was ok I really didn't eat a lot the sausage was boiled. There was some problems fight the first night we where there the next morning the cops and fire department was there made me feel uncomfortable. There was a homeless guy there every morning eating breakfast and he ask for money outside.

We came for the swimming pool and mainly the hot tub, which was ice cold and we were told someone could look at it on Monday, we are here on Dec 6th 2025, a Saturday. So nothing to be done. Dissapointment.

The staff is fantastic and very helpful!!! The floor in our room was filthy. I spilled some water and wiped it up with a washcloth, which was extremely dirty from the floor. There were hairs on a couple of the pillow cases and fitted sheet. Rooms need a serious, fresh undated or deep cleaning.

Our room was cold and they had to replace the thermostat. The breakfast was very minimal.

Television was not working at all cuz of weather ( saying bad connection) but other tv in breakfast area is working umm) so can’t watch any shows or news in the morning so that’s one one issue . Clean room and breakfast is suitable.

Stay anywhere else! Room smelled like it was chain smoked in, fridge emitting a burning smell and wasn’t even cold, let hot water run for 10 minutes and never even got warm and TV didn’t work. All of these issues were told to staff and it was stated due to this we would need to stay elsewhere, the response OK thank you. We never even unpacked and with no remedy there we had to leave and go elsewhere. If you take any advice take this. Sleep in your car if you must at all cost go somewhere else.

The only downside of my hotel stay was the malfunctioning shower head, which forced me to use the handheld showerhead. Another issue was the noise from other rooms, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The shower was broken. It was an accessible room (which I didn’t need, but it’s nice they have), but the shower had a valve that was just spinning so water didn’t come out. I had to make do with a water bottle and the sink. It was one of those hurry out the door early mornings. Staff suggested on check out that I should have told maintenance the night before when I hadn’t tried to shower yet or that they could put me in a different room for the next night even though I was checking out and there was no next night. They didn’t offer a refund of any portion or a real apology. It was annoying.

Very comfortable room with and excellent shower! Good breakfast selections. Close to freeway and several restaurants and shopping.

The property is very clean, modern and well kept. The staff was very courteous friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options. The pool area also offered a spa. It's also very close to a number of dining and shopping options. By the way Wolfchase Mall is very close, a short drive or a nice walk.

I arrived early and was greeted with a smile and upgraded.

Would definitely recommend staying here.

This hotel was just off the interstate and had nice restaurants across the road which you could walk to if you are so inclined.

It was exactly what I needed for my short stay.In a great location.very comfortable and quiet.

Staying here was a great experience. The only problem was that my room was on the first floor just a short way down the hall from the lobby, and there were people out there talking with their outdoor voices, it sounded like, late at night and early in the morning. When I commented about it at the desk, I was told they were construction workers.

At checkout the next morning found several cars vandalized even with all the cameras supposedly in the parking lot. An extremely large amount of vehicles which means someone had no worries of being apprehended and had all the time in the world. I don’t know why my vehicle was spared but it seemed to be the only one spared. This review is for the others who weren’t spared. This was in my home city and my guest who I brought was instantly disgusted with my hometown as am I. The crime makes me glad I moved

In every hotel the small things are the ones that makes the difference. Got the first room the A/C didn’t work. At midnight they change my room to a really nice and big (suite) but then the TV in the bedroom didn’t work. I think that it should be mandatory for the clean up crew must check everything before next guest is coming. Other than that life is beautiful

Ok for a quick overnight stay but will not stay again. Beds are very squeaky, walls are thin, could hear everything outside the room from the neighbors talking late and early to the room upstairs flushing their toilet. Hard to get good sleep. Area seemed ok.

We have been staying here for years! Always clean, always nicely staffed and the pool has been our saving grace for the last 10 years at each stay. Kids love it and I love the hot tub. Highly recommend stopping here. Very family friendly.

Overall property was acceptable and room comfortable. The exterior of the building had clearly been updated but interior still seemed a little worn - for instance, carpet in hallway was clearly dirty. We were also disappointed that our request for a crib or pack 'n play for our two year old was not acknowledged or fulfilled. Thankfully, we brought our own bed so didn't have a problem.

Variety of walkable dining options, easy on and off freeway yet tucked back a little bit, gentleman who checked us in was hilarious and welcoming, good options at breakfast, clean, and quiet.

We always stay at La Quinta on road trips since we travel with dogs, and this is by far the nicest La Quinta in our experience. The area is nice with a ton of restaurant choices, and the rooms are updated and feel new.

Absolutely a great pet friendly room. They had vinyl flooring which is the best pet friendly flooring. High marks. The room did not smell. It was clean. It was fresh. Newly remodeled felt very comfortable there. Linens were fresh and white. The pet area was excellent. Well stocked my dogs loved it. Your front desk was wonderful. Those people are great. I will definitely stay there again

Little things were off: the fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet getting ready for takeoff. Seriously. The coffee-maker and ice bucket were missing. Although the room was large and clean, the furniture was old and heavily marked up and dented. The receptionist acted like she was doing us a favor to check us in. The next night we stopped at the La Quinta in Roanoke-Salem. The premises were obviously older but in much better shape and the staff friendly and helpful.

I liked rhe price. I didn’t like the breakfast or coffee.

The hotel was overall very clean. I booked this hotel because it had a hot tub and a heated pool. The hot tub was turned off the entire 4 days and the pool was cold. The worst part was after a 9 hour drive we couldn't take showers because there was no hot water at all. They fixed it the next day but for $500 you would like to take a hot shower. The only other thing was the breakfast. It was good that they offer it but it was the exact same thing every morning. Most hotels that i have been to offer new things each day.

The water pressure was low, the pool was cold, and you can hear everything happening in the rooms around you.

The staff were excellent. But the property needs maintenance, 1.) the TV in my room didn't work properly, 2) the bathroom ceiling was peeling. 3.) Safety railing in elevator fell off or was broken. Security: 10-15 vehicles were broken into one night. Windows broken, property stolen.

During night many vehicles were vandalized, cars windows were smashed or broken. Really bad experience. More security is needed.

Ok first nite we putting things away and the drawer on the dresser would not CLOSE... You put things in and it just started opening bck up like wat is wrong here.. i took a video... next we had to take showers without washcloths.. there weren't any in the room and it was late.. so whn we called the front desk we were told someone would be up and that never happened 🙄.. Next day getting ready the electrical outlets do not work in the bathroom..oh my room # 207.. so i had to use the hall/frnt entrance outlets close to the bathroom to curl my hair... and last the dang vent in the bathroom is super super LOUD.. it is not a separate switch from the lights..when u turn the light on in the bathroom the vent comes on also and you cant hear yourself think !!!

Our room was in the side where the rooms were narrow, they smelled like a pot party, and the furniture was old snd beat up. Also noisy in the nasty parking lot behind our window. Bunch of work guys in the parking lit out front having s tailgate late into the night. We stayed here last year in another hall and it was a much nicer room and experience. Its slipping a lot.

Shower was terrible, no actual glasses just paper cups, breakfast looked and tasted like imitation food, tragic! Room and bed were fine, nothing special , felt like a motel 6.

The beds were terrible; the metal frame underneath creaked all night with every movement, and the mattresses were not comfortable. Also the general furniture in the room, dressers, etc. looked be quite abused. Then no carpet on the floor made it feel very institutional. Overall, it felt like I stayed in a dumpy place.

Tried calling from the room but no one answered Went down to front desk but no one was there Waited 5 minutes then called the hotel on my cell phone A woman finally came up to answer the phone after a couple minutes and gave me a remote to take to the room I asked her how to set the thermostat for the room She said I should be able to work it out by using the panel on the wall or by trying the buttons on the unit I finally did get the fan to come on

The bathrooms in this hotel have exhaust vents that come on when light is turned on. It is excessively loud and annoying, especially when going to bathroom in middle of night.

The room was clean and larger than expected. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Very pleasant surprise compared to downtown Memphis locations I've been to. Only downfall was the pillows were not comfortable.

I like the fact that it is dog friendly and I know most guest don't clean up after the pets, but I think someone in the staff should clean up. You have to walk looking down because of all the dog droppings.
