Good location, nice staff. I would stay here again.

Nada! I have been charged MANY unauthorized fees on my credit card. I am currently overseas, and it has been impossible to get in touch with the hotel. I have sent multiple messages and have not received a single response. They charged me a $375 security deposit and have still not refunded it. On top of that, they charged an additional $500 to my credit card without any explanation or justification. I will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency regarding these charges. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to be cautious and carefully review any charges associated with this hotel.

The accommodation was excellent; the lobby staff was kindness. The rooms did not have a microwave. in my opinion, the glass on the wall is not safe for children, especially when you are staying on the 3rd and above floor.

The stuff is very helpful and friendly! The room is stylish and nice. The location is right next to everything. The hotel gives you access to a beach and chairs etc If I were to nitpick the bathroom vanities were scarce and not the best quality

They had sold our room to someone else. The reception told us the price was now twice as much. I do not recommend this place at all. Staff were always readily available and friendly. There were no lines or waits for anything (check in, check out, assistance, elevators). Facilities were clean and felt private. Gym is across the street at Loew's and closed early; pool also closed early (7p).

The front desk staff didn't advise you for public parking nearby, acccept for their valet parking, which made me be tricked in the fraud garage (Lincone Place) next to Hyatt. This garage staff suddenly appeared to impose me to pay $80 for 16 hours as I drove out, while nodody was at the entrance to be advised as driving in. Actually another garage just accross the street asked $20 for 24 hours, but Hyatt staff was unwilling to advise thier customers. In addition, this hotel has very small sign, lobby and rooms. It's not qualified to be named with 4 Stars Hyatt!! Shamed!!

Very clean. Great location. The beach, a lot of great restaurants & stores all within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again.

Property has a great location. Staff was helpful to explain the surrounding area. Beach was a short walk the we took the waterfront path to south beach restaurants, It was F! racing weekend. The City was buzzing. So many people and fun food and drinks. A good time for all. We used the public parking garage which was $ 20 for 24 hours. Perfect for our short stay. Late night drinks by the roof top pool were excellent!

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay in on south beach. The rooms are nice and clean, staff customer service is excellent. Hotel smells good when you walk in. Absolutely love staying here.

The staff was amazing, especially Zack! Going to the Lowes Hotel for the fitness center was incredible! I’ll stay here again for sure! I loved it! Parking across the street was so convenient!

Checkin staff super helpful. Room with ac problems during all stay. Cleaninness is not the best. And housekeeping is awful the only make the bed and that’s it. Not even bother to clean the floor or anything.

This hotel is a masterclass on how to misrepresent a mediocre hotel into a vacation semi deluxe hotel with nice pool and beach access included whithin the facilities and also the room views.

The staff was super nice. The location is great. I’m a clean freak, but it could have been cleaner. Baseboards were dirty and sink didn’t drain very quickly which is just kind of gross.

Convenient hotel location. Mediocre hotel for the price. They charge a resort fee and its not a resort property, its a city hotel near a beach. Location is good. No activity in the bar. No doormen for service. Lobby on the 3rd floor.

Our room was never cleaned and given new towels. Phone calls to the hotel were never answered.

The service in the restaurant is poor. Understaffed in service and probably the kitchen as well. Housekeeping has slipped noticeably. They either didn’t get around to my room or missed areas. Not acceptable. I’m staying at the Hyatt Regency Miami now. It’s far worse. Everything is dated and is in need of refurbishment. The whole Hyatt franchise is declining and upper management seems content with this as long as they get their bonuses. Delivering shareholder value is all that counts although that’s something corps love to talk about but almost never do. It’s a diversion to line their pockets. If they really wanted to create shareholder value they would marinating their properties and train staff.

Pool beautiful, lobby nice with fruit infused water all day, lovely restaurant and breakfast. Booked in a room on the 2nd floor over a hair salon, the hall from the elevator smelled bad with chemicals so they did move us after asking but we are VIP status with Expedia so I was surprised we had to ask to move.

Pool closed too early. Breakfast wasn’t that great and expensive. The $100 per day for incidentals is too much. It should be $100 in total! That is way too much daily! Next door at The Berkeley, they only charge $100 in total for the duration not as a daily fee…

Great hotel well located but without a wow. The rooms need already some improvements in the shower have some molds.

Smells amazing, the pool and cabanas were perfect, and the location is in a great space next to wonderful restaurants and the beach! I did not want to leave, even though it was time for me to leave for my cruise! I love the view and the glass walls! The bar and the hotel as just beautiful.

A $40 resort fee per night. But let’s be honest, calling this a “resort” requires a very vivid imagination.

When we first got into our room, it smelled like wet dog, like if the mop was smelly and they mopped the whole room . I called downstairs to front desk and they came up upstairs to fix it. He mopped the whole floor and it felt better. Also the drain the sink drain was clogged. There was also no shampoo, body wash and the bottles so we had to wait.

Francis the front desk agent work was awesome very friendly and very help the hotel is very clean smells great will highly recommended friends and family and definitely stay again

Rooms were smaller than what we are used to. Lobby isn’t at entrance and is instead on third floor which is unusual but overall clean, friendly staff and cute decor!!!

Great location and rooms. Very nice staff and tons to do within walking distance. A little loud at night due to it being on a popular street but really not too bad. The higher the floor you can get the better. The only bad thing is parking but there is a lot across the street that is much cheaper. Would definitely stay there again.

About the property. Cons: Mobile shower is absolutely useless as the water flow is very weak. No microwave oven is available. So it's very difficult to heat the food. Water is not going out of the wash basin even though you tried to flush it down many times. There is no laundry bag there so you need to bring your own bags. Valet parking is a headache as it always blocks you moving around freely. Pros: Bed and pillows are very good and you will get a nice sleep for sure. TV screen is in the right size. Ambience is good Water bottles helps you a lot.

The location is perfect..walkable to anywhere, with the beach across the street. The staff was great, especially Erasimo, the bellman. He helped us several times throughout our stay and we were extremely impresses by his professionalism and hospitality!

This is a property with limited amenities. There’s one restaurant. Once coffee service stops, you have to go outside to buy it from local shops. There’s a very small pool. The tiles surrounding the pool has no grit making it dangerously slippery.There’s no gym on site. Guest have fitness access at the Loews hotel across the street. The valet staff were super nice, polite and professional. The young man who checked me in was also very professional. The hotel isn’t beach facing but walking distance to ocean drive and beach access.

This hotel is truly a Gem in South Beach! The staff is amazing and friendly and willing to help with any issues that may arise. The location is perfect and they offer beach loungers at no additional cost. The beach loungers aren’t your typical beach loungers which you take from the hotel and set up at the beach they are already set up at the beach which makes it convenient and easy.

The lobby is on the 3rd floor. No place to properly park during check-in. Hotel only offer valet parking for $45/day. While the valet offers in-out privilege, it takes 30 - 40 minutes to retrieve the car. People smoked weeds in the adjacent room. My room and the hallway smells as such. Notifed the manager but there was no available room to swap. It is an unpleasant experience to say the least.

The property is convenient to the public beach access, across from a paid parking garage ( $20 daily- no in and out), a few street parking spaces, and very close restaurants/bakery. The hotel offers free bike rentals, clean towels, the pool, and gym access ( in the Loews Hotel). The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was so clean and spacious. Overall, definitely a great hotel to stay at!

What I liked about the Hyatt was the way the staff worked to get to make my stay easy and comfortable. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like was my TV kept going out but I think that was a service issue. Hyatt Centric south beach will always get my stay.

We were able to use the Lowe’s hotel beach access

Check in was a breeze and they were able to answer any questions I had. The hotel restaurant was doing renovations, but was told there was breakfast being served on the 2nd floor if I wanted to go there. I did go to the beach and showed my key card to have access to the chairs and towels that were there. Uber was fast weather ordering something to eat or showing up to give me a ride. There is plenty of restaurants and Lincoln Mall was just a short walk away. Overall great experience and the staff was wonderful.

Hotel was completely under construction but for inside our room. Pool closed. Elevator not working. No cafe or breakfast. Honestly, just close down and finish the work before allowing guests in. Room itself was very nice but we paid for many amenities we didn’t actually have access to with the construction.

Unfortunately I also stayed at the Hyatt Centric in Times Square NYC last year and had an almost identical experience. I will never stay here again and will make sure to let everyone know about the subpar service and hotel.

Overall this property is beautiful with the exception of the homeless person sleeping in the pet area and despite us mentioning it the staff let them stay there. The lobby also smell over cleaning agents was so strong that it sent me into a coughing episode. Staff for breakfast staff was not attentive and she seemed irritated that we needed coffee refills so my husband got yp and went to get refills, no syrup offered for our pancakes. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. Pool was small and not enough seating.

Great place. Only 2 things that we didn't find great... reception is on 3rd floor so if you come after 10pm you have to call to be let in. And the bathroom has barn doors and is open on top so, unfortunately, the other person can hear everything.

This property is perfect for any visitor that wants to experience everything close by.

We liked the location and the hotel’s beach and gym amenities’ connection with the Loews Hotel (right across the street with easy access to both. The hotel was clean and the dailyaid service was reliable. Hotel js walk-ably convenient to just about everywhere we like to go in South Beach and there was just enough “action” on the pool deck to make it fun to hang out. The only disappointment was that there was no nightlife in the hotel and a couple of times when I wanted a drink, the bartender was nowhere to be found and the one time I stumbled into her, the drink was not good. Overall, this is a good value and the location is very good. If you need constant action, maybe beat to go across the street and oay an extra $100 a night.

Hyatt Centric is centrally located in the heart of south beach. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Alex at the reception. He made great recommendations and was extremely helpful. The check in process was quick. The hotel has bikes for their guest to use. The gym pass to Loew's is awesome. Lots of perks without the extra fees. Rooms are clean and great friendly staff.

The room does not have slippers, bathrobe, shower cap, toothbrush. I asked for them the first day I came. I got them on the third day. I need to keep calling the front desk. It also took a very long time for the front desk to answer the call because there is only one front desk. The room’s floor is also dirty. It is also noisy. I can hear the music every night from the other rooms of the same floor. All the housekeepings do not speak English. It is really inconvenient. Everyday, they came really early. I need to use a translator to ask them to come later, but they never came back. I need to call the front desk to ask them to come, and it took like an hour. The room does not have heating. We need to turn off the air conditioning to keep warm, but the housekeeping always came and turned it on, to like 65 degrees. Overall, the hotel and the service does not worth this price at all! Book a better one nearby!

Use of Lowe’s facilities

Comment I have is that parking and getting your car is tough as there is little parking space To leave your car and the valet is overwhelmed.

Our second night we were put into a room with two beds. It was an accessible room. Which was fine except for the shower flooded into the bathroom because the drain was in the center of the room. The staff seemed unaffected by these challenges because we booked through hotels.com. At least they gave us free parking

The front desk had me park in one of the public parking garages and I had to walk in the rain with my luggage to the hotel. Once inside they assured me they would refund me the 3 nights of valet parking. I got my bill and I was charged for the valet parking. They removed it but I had to bring it to their attention. For all my troubles they credited me one night of resort fees. Other than that the staff was friendly and the room was pleasant.

You are close to everything. So it’s very convenient location

I asked the clerk about the shopping options around the hotel. He answered: there are plenty of stores; you can check on Google. Homeless people on almost every street. The hotel entrance looks like a back door or a service entrance, next to a parking garage. The hotel is expensive considering the location and the services you receive.

Rooms were very nice. Bar area so so. We arrived from a cruise early but weren’t able to check in until 5 pm. Had to put luggage in holding downstairs. Then finally get checked in and go down and get our own luggage and take it up. Workout etc is the hotel across the road

When i asked about my room being ready since i was already waiting 90 minutes, the middle aged African American woman at the desk told me she didn't know about my room since she didnt work housekeeping. The Hispanic desk giy finally got me a room at 5:50 pm! Well after our scheduled 4pm check in time. I asked for a breakfast voucher or a drink ticket and all he offered was 2 bottles of water which are free anyway. Terrible service.
