The hotel is amazing, great service. Nice pool and beach. Just make sure when you check in to make sure your room is not near the elevator it’s very noisy.

Felt like home. Kind and helpful staff that made check in/out seamless. Amenities were clean and modern. The bungalow room was spacious with great views of the pool and beach. Location was amazing with close proximity to south beach. Look forward to staying at the Edition once again.

Parking $80/day, no self-parking, only on streets. Noisy loud music outside till 11 pm every day, does not allow to fall asleep. End of March-begining April - very stormy strong wind every day, you have to hold your cap with a hand, ocean with 10 ft waves, not swimmable at all. Like the bathrobes, soft and nice, slippers are included.

Good location, property has everything you need. The Miami Beach EDITION is a beautiful upscale hotel, with a great atmosphere(the air freshener especially!). However , unfortunately, it delivers an inconsistent experience. At this price level, I expect more and better. Some examples: Sometimes there’s turn-down room service; sometimes there’s not. Sometimes there are shower caps in the room bathroom; sometimes there are not. Sometimes they make the bed the way we asked; sometimes they don’t. The quality of the towels in the room as well as by the pool has gone down. The poolside deck chairs are very hard and uncomfortable. The public washrooms don’t get cleaned up often enough and, weirdly, they lack a proper waste paper basket…so they’re always messy. I’ll stop now. The restaurant is dark and lacks atmosphere and the menu selection is small We stayed here last year and the human atmosphere has deteriorated. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful (thank you for the iPhone plug I needed in a rush), but the rest of the staff attitude seems random, especially because many of them do not even make eye contact when they see you. Matador could have a greater selection and the room is too dark.

Check in staff failed to provide us with a curated to do list as promised they also told me that the ice skating rink was open… it was temporarily closed. Housekeeping left notes asking for tips and on our final day we noticed a large brown stain on the mattress that appeared to be blood. After completing the hotel generated survey the response was just as average as the stay. I would not recommend.

A fabulous hotel. One of the best in the Marriott collection. The rooms are very nice. The beds are amazing. I love the le Labo product. Great mini bar. The staff is incredible. The restaurants are good and the spaces are really nice. The gym was great too.

Claimed a pipe burst “ that day” in the room booked a 788 sq feet room and the joke of a manage def was lying . Also 3 floors only available as hotel was under loud construction ruined my trip as I was exhaustef ftom traveling

Was very awkward when the cleaning staff opened the door on my daughter and i because the room “needed to be cleaned” There was pubic hair in the sink which stood out the most to me aside from the dead smeared bug on the floor and the dirty sheets. Incredibly disappointing…drove two hours from WPB to see a concert absolutely should have driven back. The staff was condescending when we called to report the dirty room. A woman from management called me the next day and was very professional / apologetic for the inconvenience I recommended they do a deep dive into their staff and who is representing their brand. Not a luxury experience what so ever. If sensitive to smell the scenting within the hotel / if hyper aware of toxins and phthalates, formaldehyde, benzene, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) i would highly advise you to not book your stay here. Hope whomever finds this review helpful! I certainly wish I had this level of authenticity when coming from a review / feedback prior to spending $1000 + on a room.

Second stay here at the EDITION. Wonderful again! Great welcome, spacious rooms, comfy beds. Especially enjoyed pool time and the beach. Always made to feel important and special.

I appreciated that they were able to accommodate an early check in but it was all downhill from there. The rooms were filthy and in really poor shape. There were stains on the rugs, the nightstands were falling apart and there was even a gash in headboard that was being held together by tape. For the high price per night of this place, it felt like I was staying in a motel vs. a high end hotel. The service was awful and food was expensive and mediocre (putting it nicely). A friend and I both got food poisoning from the fish tacos at the pool. The spa amenities were non existent but my massage was the highlight of my stay.

We stayed at The Miami EDITION for four nights to celebrate my birthday weekend, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of every step of the way. The vibe, the rooms, the amenities—everything exceeded expectations.

Shout out to Alexander who was a great server by the pool. I would def recommend and stay here again.

beautiful property! Clean bathrooms. my experience did not align with the premium price point of over $1000 per night. I wanted to share a few concerns that significantly impacted my stay: Room Cleanliness: Upon arrival, I found multiple large stains on both the carpet and the chair in the room, which was unexpected and unacceptable at this level of accommodation. Delayed Luggage Delivery: After checking in, I waited over an hour in my room for my bags to be brought up. I called guest services twice for an update, but the delay persisted. I was unable to leave or settle in comfortably since all of my belongings were in those bags. Frankly, I could have carried them up myself in less time. Poor Beachside Service: Service at the outdoor bars—especially on the beach—was extremely slow. It regularly took over an hour to receive food and drinks, and the quality did not reflect the resort’s standards. Unresponsive Guest Services: On several occasions, I called guest services, the concierge, and housekeeping with no answer. This lack of responsiveness was frustrating and inconvenient. Pool Conditions: The pool water appeared murky and unclean during my visit, which raised hygiene concerns and diminished the overall atmosphere. Lack of Assistance at Checkout: At checkout, there was no assistance with luggage, and I had to carry my bags down the stairs myself. Again, this is not what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

I recently stayed at the Miami Edition Hotel, and it was an amazing experience! The hotel has a beautiful and unique style with elegant décor. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The customer service was outstanding, the staff were friendly, understanding, and attentive to every detail. We loved the pool, the stunning views, and the beach access. The valet service was exceptional, they paid great attention to every detail, even opening doors for us. Also, the cleaning staff went above and beyond to ensure our room was perfect. Everything was top-notch, and we enjoyed every part of our stay.

Staff was great - property getting a little worn out ie needs fresh paint, tiles cracked, wood veneer peeling - coffee capsules for espresso machine in room are generic and very poor quality (very poor!). Overall nice stay but a little overpriced for the quality

The Edition blew our expectations away. I saw a ton of reviews about the service being poor, but honestly we had no issues. The rooms were clean and updated, the restaurants were great, the pool was wonderful, valet service was great as well. I really have no complaints!

This is my first hotel review. I travel extensively globally. I stay quite a lot in the Marriott properties, including the Editions, but this was my first time in Miami. Compared to similarly priced luxury hotels, this property had poor service and the staff

My first trip here was amazing. This last trip they didnt have the room I booked and put me in a double and then I had to switch rooms the next day which is not very relaxing for a 3 day trip. The Market has random hours and menus which are not published and isnt always open for a meal. Service is either excellent or not, not consistent. For the money, I have stayed at places with better service.

Extremely friendly and courteous staff in a slightly older building with average amenities. We had a very nice stay, but there was a feeling of more style than substance. The clientele was very well dressed. The staff were the shining star of the hotel.

Overall, this is far from a 5 star hotel.

The room was located well and the design of the room great. The pool is awesome, except I didn't utilize since the weather was not great for that purpose. The initial desk person at 5:30am was inexperienced and vague about the timing of getting into a room.

Rooms and lobby looked and felt dirty. The bedroom furniture all dirty & stained, the bathroom tiles moldy, chipped vanity, dust around. Really not worth the price or the hype.

The Miami Beach is a great facility with nice rooms, two great pools, and some cool amenities. However, the service is not befitting of the price and moniker of a 5-star hotel.

Staff was very rude and unaccommodating.

After check in we went to grab something to eat at the market and the food was amazing!! Everything we order was hot, fresh and yummy! Other than the one incident at check-in, our stay and the hotel was pleasant. I would recommend that attention to detail be made a priority. If you are going to offer the option for an early/late check in then either confirm the time with the guest or advise that their requested time is unavailable at the time when completing the online form.

I love this hotel and would stay every time I go to Miami

I would given this property just for my stay alone 4 stars but do to the situation after I checked out I’d have to deduct a star. Upon checking into the hotel I gave my credit and was only to be charged $200 per night which was 2 nights for incidentals because I had already paid for my reservation in advance through Expedia. My stay was fine. Hotel is nice and clean. Lobby fragrance and appearance is luxurious. From the pictures I thought the room I was getting had a balcony due to the photos in the description but it didn’t but hey I’ll take the blame for that. Now my issues stems from upon checking out I received an invoice that said my balance to be paid was the resort fee and a pool charge for $63. So $218 in total. Cool. But later that day the hotel charged my card another $770 plus another $250. That made me check other transactions to find out the day before they also charged my card $530 and $200. Now when I called to find out why they claimed all these charges are not them it’s Expedia. Even the tho charge was named to the EDITION and not Expedia. I let them know that’s impossible because I didn’t even use the same card to book my hotel on Expedia at the time. After being put on hold several times they came back and told me these charges were only authorizations and they are a result of me charging the food and beverage to my room from the pool for $63. So to be clear they they are saying because I charged a lobster roll to my room they authorized $1550 in charges.

All of the staff from the beginning to the end of our trip were friendly, tentative, and great service. Our rooms were always cleaned in the morning and evening. I highly recommend anyone to go. Pool was beautiful. Loved the pineapple water they gave out . The only thing I would say is the drinks were very expensive but I guess that's Miami. Excellent hotels

Our stay was amazing, Karill the front manager did our check in, super friendly , we were able to get our room at 11:30. The rooms are very nice an spacious, Carolina the house keeper super nice, the pool on Friday was nice and as well as the service, Saturday was bad, to many people and bad service. Sunday was very nice and quiet, Violin and Fernardo were amazing. Karl did the check out for us, extremely efficient and friendly, he took some charges that they were out in our bill by mistake.

2 nd time there, felt it’s less wow this time less staff

This hotel has a lot of things going for it amongst them location and grounds and overall friendly staff. But there are some things that stood out as big negatives during my stay. The room cleaning service is way below par - they do not know how to clean a room. The soap was not replaced in my shower for 4 out of 5 days I basically run out of soap. I got a nespresso machine of course I would need to remind them to bring extra pods when I run out. The telephone from the room is not working I had to call with my cell. The breakfast menu is ok but nothing to remember. Finally one day I had to ask 4 yes 4 times the front desk to send someone to make up my room. It was not made until 5.30 pm. The prior day it was finally ready by 4 pm. Is this worth several hundred usd per night? I do not think so.

Beautiful lobby and pool areas. The onsite restaurants were good. Overall ambiance in the common areas is very nice. We’re not a fan of the open bathroom concept. We would prefer 2 sinks. Our one sink didn’t drain well and the faucet is so low you couldn’t fit a glass under it. The door handle in the shower was broken off, when flushing the toilet the water splashed out of the toilet which was a bit gross. We didn’t care for the quality of the pillows. The ac worked great which is always a positive in a hot climate. Overall a 4 star hotel not 5 stars.

Staff were oddly disorganized and most of the interactions with them left us scratching our heads. Our room wasn’t ready until an hour after check-in. The staff kept us waiting around for a hour saying “10 more minutes” every time we asked. Zero accomodation or compensation. When we entered our room the tile floor was soaking wet, and my wife slipped and almost fell, there was so much water we thought it was a leak, tried to call down to have it checked out, but were left on hold for so long that we just gave up and cleaned it up ourselves. This kind of weirdness followed throughout the whole stay. Nothing terrible, just not what you’d expect from a hotel of this price-point. Very nice people, just seemed like an inexperienced staff and poor communication.
