    The location, however even after writing in, I was unable to get a response and was locked out of my room the entire night and never it to even check out or speak to anyone . My card would not work it kept flashing like if someone was in the room locked inside The fact the staff didn’t investigate or help me Get into my Room that I rightfully paid for.

    It was unclean — roaches and bugs crawling on the headrest; it wasn't what I expected. I know this cleaning crew has a lot to do, so I always bring my own cleaning supplies and buy bleach cleaner at Walmart. But OMG, bugs and roaches? Oh, I draw the line. Also, I ran out of toilet tissue. They couldn't provide it because they didn't have any. I’ve never heard that I have to bring my own toilet paper. Shouldn't they provide that? At least I pay to stay here.

    The room was somewhat dirty, with peeling paint on the walls in several spots; there was no hair dryer, no shampoo or conditioner, and the door lock was broken. The TV wasn't working, and there was no staff available to fix the problem.

    Check-in is three o'clock, no exceptions! If you arrive early, there is absolutely no lounge to wait in until three o'clock! The room was nice, but the stopped-up toilet ruined it because I had to wait until the next day for someone to probably finally come and fix it. There is nothing to see or buy nearby, so bring whatever you need. I don't even want to talk about the breakfast. Nope! For the price, you might do better at a red light district hotel. Save you money on this one! Good Luck!

    Room service is none existence. I got a room with the floor so dirty that it was disgusting. I walked with my bare foot to go to the bathroom and they were as black and dirty as if I was walking barefoot outside. I request for the room to be clean and I was told they clean their room every 15 days if the room is occupied. I had to go to the office 3 times before the floor was cleaned, I received a dirty room so they should not make me wait. The demographic that stay in the hotel are truck drivers, Road worker crews that construction company use. lot of people drinking and smoking in the parking lot. Why I stay in this hotel, because Miami had lots of events and the good hotels get booked fast, Lesson don't wait to last minute to book a hotel in Miami. This hotel is in a good area, close to the airport and easy to travel if you have to use Uber/Lift.

    Room smelt like wet dog. We even bought an air freshener and it still smelt the whole trip. They do not allow you to get more towels/washcloths unless you return yours and wait until the afternoon. We stayed 5 days and only received 4 washcloths. Don’t bother asking for plates/utensils/etc because they don’t have any even though there’s a sign in the room that says they have it. I never felt clean in the hotel room. Walked around with shoes all the time. If you’re staying for a night, it’s fine. Anymore than 2 days, would not recommend.

    This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The floor was peeling up and there was a bag of medical needles and syringes behind the dresser. When we took the needles to the front desk they acted like it was a normal thing. Highly recommended avoiding.

    Laundry service was available. No laundry soap on site. Rooms smell like mildew. Shower curtain was dirty. Only 1 see through blind on main window and when we asked for a different room or another curtain the lady at the front desk said she couldn’t do anything about it. Pain was chipped on multiple parts of the room. And missing tiles on floor. No vending machine.. and there “breakfast” are one selection of muffins..coffee with sugar only no cream..and hot cocoa.

    We were given a room that had a man sleeping in it already. Then we bounced around to 3 different rooms before the receptionist said she didn’t have a room for us. She gave us 2 different rooms and they were disgusting. They looked like they were not even cleaned. Unfortunately, it was 2am and I was traveling with my two young kids.

    When we first walked in the room looked okay, but we were immediately greeted by a musty odor. The floors were extremely dirty and sticky. After walking from the door to the bathroom our socks were black. The bathroom had cracks between the flooring with lots of dirt in them. The shower and door panels in the bathroom had mold. This hotel is definitely not worth $200 a night.

    The staff were helpful and the room was clean and bed was comfy. Close to the airport which is convenient. It was fun to see ducks and cats around the grounds. The nearest restaurant is 10 blocks away which gave us a good walk. Traffic busy but room was fairly quiet. Definitely not a high end hotel but adequate. It was sad to see all the garbage at the back of the hotel near the canal.

    I want to talk with customer service. The hotel was dirty. First dorm were strong musty smelI ask to change, the second same, less smelly. I asked to fumigate bug at the entrance in the room and they told me, that it is a big problem and they wouldn’t do it. Lamps were rusty, the kitchen the same. I ask for the bread Toaster, cups, towels and they didn’t gave me because there weren’t in stock. It wasn’t a pleasure stay and it was expensive. I want to ask a refund and I will no longer use this hotel.

    The only best part of the whole place was the young girl checking people in was very pleasant. Otherwise the hotel is disgusting and it has a older. It stinks. I am astonished that that place is allowed to be open and not federally regulated on cleanliness and upkeep. Especially for the price they’re charging. I can see if maybe it was $25 a night low budget. It’s a huge miss-representation of the actual place on the website when you scroll through the pictures it looks like a nice place…. very deceiving. Extremely disappointing.

    I got there early and asked for early check in. That’s ok, I can wait. About 30 minutes later, I asked Issela if there were any rooms available. Told her I would pay extra, I didn’t care, I needed to lie down. She upgraded me for free and got me to my room. She was exceptionally helpful. Then there was the room. The floor was dirty and sticky. I walked around without shoes on for about 5 minutes and my feet were black. I spilled something and, when I cleaned it up, the towel was black. The bathtub didn’t have a drain plug and the plate the surrounds the faucet was filthy. It was a comfortable room, just not clean.

    The room did have a stale almost damp moldy smell. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. It would be nice if there was more variety at breakfast. Some fruit instead of just the muffins and oatmeal. I would stay here again. It would great if there was the possibility of an extended check out on weekends . The 30 minutes or hour would be appreciated .

    The room had no privacy, no curtains or shades. I had to put a sheet up to prevent people from looking in. The kitchen consisted of a small sink and two electric burners that were so rusted you don't even feel like cooking on it. Lastly, you have to go to the reservation desk to get cookware, plates, and utensils. I won't pay 50 dollars a night to stay at Extended Stay. On the positive note, the staff was nice.

    The property itself it’s in terrible conditions. The stairs haven’t been cleaned in months, outside it smells like pee, the rooms have a moldy smell.     Please don’t waste your money—do not stay at this property. The bathrooms are constantly clogged, black mold is present throughout, and the staff is extremely disrespectful. Do not be misled by the photos; they are nothing like reality. I booked a reservation for September 1, 2025, but canceled the same day after seeing the conditions. At least five other guests also requested refunds due to the same issues. This was by far the most unpleasant and unsanitary experience I’ve ever had.

    It's not breakfast; just coffee and a muffin, and nothing else. The cleanliness and smell of the room were not pleasant at all. The shower was stained, the floor hadn't been swept or vacuumed, and the kitchen was rusty. For a large hotel chain in the countryside, it's not up to par. I had nowhere else to go and had already booked a week earlier, but I won't be staying there again.

    So we staying for my daughter birthday weekend. When we checked in the front desk was nice and all. The room a different story. ALL our rooms smelled like a carton of cigarettes. That I had to go buy a candle and keep lit the whole weekend. Had to go buy sinus meds because of the smell had my and my kids sinus upset. No toilet paper I had to go up front too get 2 rolls for 2 of rooms. The microwave was broken. I like extended stay. This was the worst. We left last night because I couldn’t take it no more. I was suppose to leave today.

    This is a true situation of you get what you pay for!!! The pricing was great. However, this hotel is very worn. Needs to be updated. The night table lamps didn't work. The range was rusty. There was no tv remote so we couldn't watch tv. The biggest issue with this hotel is I did not feel safe. It was so bad that I was afraid to leave my belongings in the room while I was away. I will never stay at this hotel again. I thank God that I made it out unharmed.

    ⸻ I stayed at Extended Stay America Suites Miami Airport Blue Lagoon and overall it was acceptable but disappointing. The staff was very friendly and check-in and check-out were fast and easy. The location is convenient, close to Miami Airport, shops, and plenty of dining options. Having parking and easy access to main roads is a big plus if you have a car. However, the back area of the hotel was dirty and felt unsafe, with people drinking beer and hanging out in the parking lot. The room we had needed much better cleaning and maintenance. The bathtub had mold and chipped paint, the humidity caused rust on the light fixtures, towel racks, fridge, and kitchen appliances. The fridge didn’t even close properly. It’s clear that it was renovated long ago but has been neglected since. On the bright side, towels and sheets were clean, but the mattress and pillows had no protectors, which is a basic hygiene must. The advertised breakfast was disappointing — just coffee and instant oatmeal with no bowls. Not worth mentioning as breakfast at all. In summary, the hotel has a great location and helpful staff but desperately needs better cleaning, maintenance, and security. I’d only recommend it for a quick overnight stay if you get a good rate and have no other option.

    Where do I start? the walls just above the floor board was molded and dirty. the tub was old and needs refurbished. The refrigerator nor freezer worked. My food I stored the night before was room temperature the next morning. The door did not close properly you had to force it to close. Needless to say I will not book here again.

    I picked this hotel because I had a good experience in Hawaii few years back. It had a small kitchen, very nice environment. But this one not so much. Mold on the bathroom ceiling, soap tray. Bathroom wall and door were chipped. Fire detector alarm has not battery. Lamps lights were not working. Only lights worked were three lights on the kitchen ceiling for the hotel room. The kitchen tools and clothes hangers had to ask front desk. The breakfast was packed Quaker, small muffins, coffee and tea. The transportation was easy use with bus 7 in front of the hotel we could get to many places. Next time, if we going book again, it will be the Hilton on the other side of the bridge!

    They refuse to give me my mail and packages. Time and time again they come up with lazy and dumb excuses saying we don't have it simply because they are too lazy to search. I insist and sure enough they find it. I even now pay for signature confirmation so I can name the employee that signed for it! One front desk worker told me my UPS next day air envelope was marked as delivered but they usually come later and actually deliver it. What??? They think I'm an idiot. Another told me they don't have my fedex overnight with HER signature on the tracking. I refused to leave the lobby and two minutes later she hands me my envelope. Now, the lady is telling me my USPS was not delivered because they never come at 6pm, what???? Nevermind the cockroaches and spiders and months in my room and the homeless man sleeping outside my door. AVOID THIS TRAP

    I was in town for the funeral of my father in law and due to the last minute notice the extended stay was all that was available. All 3 rooms I reserved had issues with the bathrooms as the showers/tubs were rusted and cracked all over. The door locks for the key cards worked when they wanted. Advertise breakfast when it’s really just vending machines.

    Hotel was as expected, Room was ok. Clean but old in need of updating. Part of the room draw was the free continental breakfast. NOT once in the whole week was this available, every morning was a different excuse.Waiting on coffee, no muffins. Hasn't arrived yet. Should not advertise if you are not expecting to have. Maybe new management is needed. Sorry I would not recommend staying here.

    Good location but I’ll recommend let the AC alway on van mode. The airplane noise arriving can be annoying, so when the van is on you can’t here the airplane noise. but all in all it’s a good place and feel very safe. Highly recommend to stay there

    Needed a last minute hotel close to the Miami airport with the reserve now pay later option due to travel issues. This was an absolute joke at this price as it was more like a motel. I got in late and had to check out early for quick flight turn around and had to call someone to come to the lobby to check in and out as it was closed over night. I almost wish I would’ve just slept at the airport. The refrigerator was so loud I had to leave the door open to stop the noise, the “fresh” towels were dirty with visible stains, there was hair and used contacts on the bathroom floor, and the shower wasn’t cleaned well, I didn’t want to touch the kitchenette area and I was afraid there would be bugs due to the lack of cleanliness so I couldn’t sleep, the clock and phone weren’t working. The area by the airport isn’t the best so not expecting the best but for this price I expected more I am sure there are better options.

    We paid 220$ for a night's stay here before our onward journey. We informed before hand twice that we will reach late due to flight timings. The door was locked at the front desk when we reached and nobody answered the phone for good amount of time while we waited with luggage and kids. The person at the desk finally was very rude and unprofessional. There are no elevators so good luck with hauling the luggae yourself on the stairs. Rooms are shabby, smelly and dingy, we did not even have toilet paper in bathroom or a bottle of water as well as no instructions where to find one. Terrible experience. Avoid at all cost.

    Check in was okay, was not expecting a $100 deposit and wish I could’ve known about that beforehand. One of our room keys didn’t work so we jokingly tried the window and to our surprise it was unscreened and did not lock. The beds were clean which is what we cared about most. However the room felt and smelled very damp and there were patches of mold on the ceilings as well as in the air conditioner. It’s fine to get through a night but I would not stay here again and definitely not for more than a few hours.

    I reserved this room and called them earlier that i was experiencing flight delays and would be there, just late. They said ok. I get there maybe close to 1am to find the doors LOCKED. Another family had been waiting to get in too when i arrived. A family came after me (but knew the family ahead of me). After calling multiple times and knocking on the doors for probably 15-20 minutes, the front desk clerk arrives and is immediately annoyed at so many of us waiting to get in. He was very rude assuming none of us had reservations and mentioned there was no available rooms. We all said that we did have reservations and how we called ahead about our late arrivals. the clerk took the family before me and gave them a room. The family that came after me jumped the line and checked in right after. Ok no problem. Now its my turn and he's telling me there's literally no more rooms left for real now. Well how If i have a reservation and i told you I'd be late. He eventually has a legit meltdown screaming and banging on the counter that he has to finish the laundry and he doesn't have time for these problems. I'm just shocked but whatever, not my problem. Find my room so we can all go about our night sir. Long story short, he gives me a room that someone else was in first but left because the AC was broken. Well at this point, its 2am and i have limited options. I had to take the used room with the broken AC after his extreme unprofessional attitude. I'll never stay there again.

    Given the opportunity, I would have paid more to stay at a nicer hotel. The lobby smelled like a dirt ashtray ,the room had a musty smell and was in disrepair .. There were cigarette burns in the bathroom counter. The bathroom vanity was peeling apart. There were holes in the linoleum. The toilet didn’t flush and the shower dripped all night long. Also I did see cockroaches in the bathroom.
