Hyatt Place Miami Airport West/Doral

The comforter seem to be never washed because if you hold the comforter you will see all the bacteria in the comforter. I was very disappointed and the table in the kitchen is shaking.

They first put me in the wrong type room. Then gave me another room that someone was already in. The third room the AC did not work. Will never stay there again.

I had two room One was clean and the other was not. Only front desk spoke English but all staff was friendly Offered extended stay for my vehicle while on cruise. There were small plumbing issues in both rooms.

The staff we very welcoming on arrival. Our room was spacious and provided everything we needed for a night stop. The breakfast was good with a variety on offer. The location is ideal for Miami Airport. I would have liked to have a safe in the room.

The staff went above and beyond to help us with all our needs. I have stayed in many hotels but this one is the best. I would definitely stay here again!

The location for our needs was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Staff were pleasant . It is tired. Chipped door in the bathroom, other noticeable chips and splinters. Breakfast ok, but limited. No daily room clean, you had to ask.

Everything was ok the only think they need to improve is communication this morning 7:00 am the fire alarm when off and the from desk guys never say a word until everybody was asking what happened

Food and location was great. I didn’t like that the night staff didn’t try to assist with the TV nor the Air at all throughout the night. I suffer with a little Asthma attack, I had to give myself a treatment and had to keep opening up my room door. I tried calling the front desk several times , I tried sending my child to the front desk for assistance unfortunately NO HELP. When I did finally got ahold of the staff, I was told no one comes in until 9a. What can say is, Management and his Assistant was amazing. Once they heard my situation they got right on it w/o waiting on maintenance. They both walked to my room to see what I experienced and they were very very apologetic. They felt exactly what I was saying. They corrected the issues and remained very professional. I definitely will visit again .

We only stayed one night, basically long enough to crash before leaving for the airport. The staff was friendly, room wasn't ready but they promptly prepared our room and we were on our way. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that, but everything we experienced was good.

They gave us the wrong room first and then the new room had stained sheets, carpet smelt and AC didn’t stop running.

The property was very cute and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and updated. They were only two minor things that would not determine from staying again, but the phone in her room was very scratchy and made it difficult to call the front desk so they could hear us. Also, we were not able to rent a movie on our TV because the staff couldn’t figure out how to link it to our room charge. But overall, it was very positive experience and we would definitely stay here again!

No hot water was the start of issues. When telling front desk, they explained they had other complaints of the same issue. They said they would send someone to check and rectify, no one showed up. Cable TV showed many channels to choose from, only 3 worked so my daughter had nothing to watch, always, no signal would show. Ordering food form their in-house cafe, the order was 4 simple items, said the most, 25 minutes. 1 hour later, called front desk at least 4 times, to no answer. Went downstairs and was still cooking wings while the 3 other orders were been done, which meant all the other food was cold, especially fries were soggy... So that's the gist of it, surprised and disappointed especially the name of hotel...

I booked a double bed room. My tv didn’t work and the sink backed up. I complained to the front desk about these issues but was told maintenance leaves the facility at 530p and housekeeping would stop by the room. The staff never did.

Everything (room, staff and amenities) went wrong for this stay. Room was below par from Hyatt standards, bathroom door barely open, distance to toilet was less than 3 inches. Very low water pressure. Water stop while taking shower. Air condition was making loud noise, my wife could not able sleep. When complained, manager said that if you don’t like, you can leave. Don’t stay at this place. Even Expedia customer service wasn’t friendly.

Paid through Booking and then when we got to hotel they charged me for an extra room or something. It cost us way more than what was expected. Tried to talk to manager and couldn't get through. This has been an on going attempt from the hotel and Booking since we have returned from our trip. Just a poor way to do business!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was beautiful and the pool was refreshing and fun. The location was convenient to everything we needed!

The wait to get my room. I walked in asked if there was a room on the 4th floor. He said he would look into it. An hour later he had us a room on the 2nd floor. Didn't get my room until almost 5pm.

Lack of early morning shuttles

It was ok - the room comfortable enough, shower pressure not the best but ok. Despite advertised as an airport hotel there is no shuttle - and likely due to the terrible traffic around the area during the day. It took us just under an hour to get there despite the distance. All in all ok but not as expected from a Hyatt.

Support staff was fine. The hotel needs a renovation. Everything is worn out. Will not stay here again. The photos on the web site are misleading.

Front desk guy was short with us and more interested in what the other two staff members were talking about than to tell us about the amenities our room came with. Had to ask him about WIFI and hours for breakfast. When we went to shower, there were bugs all around the drain. When we called the desk to tell them about it, they told my husband to come get insecticide and sanitizer to get rid of them because they didn’t have another room of the same size. My husband told them he would but they were going to discount our room. Magically before we went down to get it, they called back to say they had another room to move us to. We went and inspected it and moved our things. Very disappointed after reading such great ratings.

I was very disappointed with the check-in process upon arrival. I made the reservation three weeks in advance for a room with a king-size bed, but when I arrived at the hotel, they didn't have any rooms available and put me in a smelly room where the beds and the heating didn't work. Our stay at that hotel was terrible. I don't recommend it at all.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Place for our uncle’s wedding! The rooms are very spacious, clean, stocked, and the place smells nice. We were thoroughly impressed, and even thankful for their hospitality towards accommodating our dog, and upgrading our rooms to include a sofabed.

Only thing missing was having herbal tea and not just regular caffeinated tea bags.

There was a decent variety of breakfast items. Fresh fruits, hot food, it was good. My only "thumbs down" would be that there seemed to be block somewhere in the plumbing. Water took forever to go down in the bathtub and sink. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Carlos at the front desk was really nice and accommodating.

Only thing I didn’t like was the smell like old maybe because the ac was old and loud. We could rest though. It is very good located and quiet. There is leak in the shower and sounds all the time, but we felt the sound only when we are in the bathroom. We haven’t had breakfast yet (at the time of this survey)

Breakfast was also below expectations. The fruit did not taste fresh, and aside from the cereal, most items—including the juices—felt old. The elevator is very old, and overall, the hotel does not look like the photos. For the price, it is important to manage expectations. My intention in sharing this is simply to help other travelers make an informed decision.

Yes the room was spotless. The staff is just great. I would like to mention a few names here. I had some problems with my navigator in my rental and Kayla really was a great help. Because without a GPS it is impossible to drive in Miami. Also before arriving at the hotel I had some issues and Andrew was also a great help. Leandro, Gabriel, Carmen to name just a few were also very helpful. At my age,and traveling by myself I am very grateful that I had them to help me. Only thing, it would be nice to have a dehumidifier in the room. It would feel more comfortable. Thanks again. Happy Holidays to all of you.

The room was spacious and practical, with a clean bed, a nice sitting area, and everything I needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. Breakfast was included and had a decent selection, although it can get busy during peak times. The property is a little dated in some areas, and certain parts could use refreshing, but overall the hotel was clean and well-maintained for the price point. WiFi worked fine most of the time, and having free parking was a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want comfort, convenience, and good value near the airport. I would stay here again for a quick Miami trip.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 year old daughter. The space is ok, I would say the pictures look a lot better than the actual property. While it seems like they are doing minor upgrades, this is definitely an older hotel. Small shower, wood finishing have significant damaging, the paneling in our room between the bed and sitting area was broken, our room door we would have to jam shut and use force to push open, the AC made loud noises, there was a very loud ‘humming?’ sound which, only on our last day there, I figured out was the bathroom fan from either the room above or below us, halls has poor lighting, overall the space just felt very dim, dull and dingy. We requested our room to be cleaned, we were out all day, came back at it was never done. Breakfast was average, same thing everyday with the variation of hash browns or potatoes. The Hyatt sign outside is mostly hidden by shrubs and/or vehicles so we missed our entry a few times. I didn’t feel 100% safe here even the area outside just felt dim, and the dumpster was close by so you would smell garbage occasionally. I don’t usually stay at Hyatt places, this was my first and decided to take a chance but this will definitely be my last.

The airconditioning was to loud, and the bathroom door is to tight to the toilet. When you want to get in the nathroom you habe to touch the toilet, because the door is to tight on It. The bedding was very comfortable. The size of the room was extremely spacious. All the staffs where helpfull and friendly.

Andrew and Carlos who work at the property were absolutely fantastic. They had excellent service and really epitomize hospitality. When we checked in on July 30, there were two attendants at the front desk that were not friendly, and less than helpful. The hotel needs some upgrades and some days the breakfast was better than others. The hotel is in a very convenient spot and we could walk through the back to the Raising Canes and ABC Wines. If you’re a member, you get 2 free bottled waters a day which is a nice perk.

I think the gentleman’s name is Mr Carlos.He worked the front desk.He was courteous and the staff as a whole were very helpful.The rooms were clean as expected and my children and family really enjoyed the pool.They are pet friendly so we were able to bring our yorkie with us and she had an excellent time as well.We are from Alabama so our first Miami experience as a family was made great all by where we stayed.Will recommend!!!!

Air conditioner rattles loudly, and loud clunking noise in bathroom. 213 am wide awake

On the second night we predicted ants in the bathroom and near the bed on the carpet, we managed to kill some. The next day we went to the front desk to inform this and they said they were going to send a pest control at that time. The night when we arrived at the ants we killed were still in the same place and living ants, so there was no floor cleaning that day and no pest control. We waited for dawn and went back to the front desk to make the same complaint and they said the same thing. The night when we returned to our room there was no cleaning and much less the pest control. We were stung and showed this to the boy at the reception who was amazed but did nothing to help us.

It was horrible evening morning. We had banging on the doors, crying up for help. Police couldn’t sleep all night.

It served its purpose as a place to sleep at night. However, the hotel is in great need of a paint job and removal of old carpet in the room. Location was good, because easy freeway access from there. It was OK, nothing great but nothing terrible. Breakfast each morning was convenient.

The small pool was dirty, no bar as they were renovating it! However, staff are caring, and close distance to my clients and airport!

Only when areive to receiving the guy is nice but all of the things like breakfast and all people in looby is to difficult to eat.

Everything was great from the front desk check in to check out. Customer service was awesome! The room was clean! The staff was helpful and generous. Breakfast was okay. The bathroom was a little tight but clean. It was perfect for our stay before our cruise. Location was perfect. There are restaurants in walking distance. Walmart is close by also. It was my first time staying at a Hyatt Place. I would most definitely stay again.

Very clean hotel.

First of all, this is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time, the experience wasn't that bad. But the second time, they didn't even bother to clean the room. I had to call and go down to the front desk to ask for the room to be cleaned and for clean towels. It was unpleasant having to ask for even the basics. I would never stay there again.

Front desk supervisor Carlos Johnson went above and beyond to ensure that the issue was resolved. His dedication was truly appreciated. Hotel also has a great breakfast, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again.

No airport shuttle and is 5 miles away from the airport. So budget an additional $25/per Uber trip if you are just overnighting for the airport.Otherwise, OK and breakfast selection is the usual.

The property is in a quiet area but in walking distance to restaurants. The room was very spacious. Breakfast was ok. The staff were friendly, helpful and gave excellent service.

I didn’t like the elevators. It was a scary experience every time. The sounds it made was not good. Every time we entered our room there was a strong old smell. I believe it was the old carpet.
