    The rooms are dated and could use some tlc. The bathroom looked like it had black mold and the room had a weird smell. The grounds and the lobby are kept very well. We had a housekeeper come into our room while we were sleeping with the security latch on. I'm not sure how she was able to open and it made me feel uncomfortable as women traveling alone. I went to speak with the manager when we got dressed and I was told that he didn't work on the weekend and he would call me on Monday. I still haven't received that call.

    The room property was clean and the room was nice but no microwave was a let down. The TV glitch all the whole stay. We I asked staff he said the last guest may have logged in the one of the programs which was no help to me. Everytime I asked staff something I felt like I bothering them. I would not stay here again.

    The breakfast room was very nice. The food was adequate. Just what you would expect from an included breakfast. The staff was nice. View from large balcony was beautiful. Bar height table and chairs would be nice to enjoy a snack out there. There weren’t any chairs. The dining room at night was not welcoming. Ended up eating in the bar. The bartender was overwhelmed with the amount of business he had. Seemed new to the position. I’m unsure if he spoke English. My burger was excellent. My daughter’s tacos were not good. The hotel was fine for one night. I expect more from. Sonesta property. I would not stay here again.

    I was impressed with the property hotel. It was clean and I loved that the shower tub has body wash, shampoo and conditioner pumps. The front desk attendant gave me free parking because the parking fee is $20.00 a night.

    Room was fine, and the property was clean…However, there was no laundry bag in the room, and I had to use a trash bag. There was also no coffee in the lobby, because you had to purchase it from the cafe…and the coffee in the room only came with sugar. I also visited the cafe for breakfast one morning, and it made me sick later that day. Overall 4 stars.

    The ambience was welcoming. I enjoyed the breakfast. My room was cozy and comfortable. I loved the fact that there was a balcony in my room which afforded me the opportunity to step outside and take in the surrounding, view , get some fresh air, get some sunlight, etc. Moreover, the shuttle drivers and the staff at the hotel were very helpful and hospitable.

    Location, last minute availability and hotel shuttle. Both drivers were the nicest folks I met during the stay. AC was cold and reliable. Fire alarm in my room sounded all night. Front desk finally just came up and cut the wires at 3 am. Safe? Breakfast opened 1 ½ hours late due to “staffing”. No coffee available. “You just have to wait”. All staff looked miserable. Not one apology for any of their shortcomings.

    The hotel does not provide free parking. Be sure to ask if there are any fees for anything. The staff will not tell you until they are ready to charge you. When I asked for extra towels and blankets it took the staff hours to bring it to the room and I had to request the three times. I noticed dead mice outside the building.

    Close to MIA and a clean, comfortable place to stay. The airport shuttle is a nice amenity, but it wasn't reliable in terms of the pick up. The first driver drove right by me and others who were waving them down. When I tried calling the hotel about it, I had to call 3 times before I could get someone to answer. Just don't expect timely service, and you'll be okay.

    To some extent, I understand that this hotel isn’t designed with lots of details since it’s an airport hotel. With that being said, this hotel fell short in many areas. The main lobby and pool are taken care of spectacularly. However, beyond that into the upper levels it doesn’t receive the same standard of care. Our room’s bathroom wasn’t cleaned well and only two of the many outlets in our room actually worked. The most unfortunate part was that the fitness facility looked nothing like the pictures online. There was a lot less equipment than shown and the treadmill’s screen was shattered and you couldn’t turn it on. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

    Tip when looking for shuttle at the airport- go to FIRST FLOOR INSIDE THE AIRPORT then cross to the bus stop area. Floor 1 from the parking lot is a different level. The front desk staff were very helpful for a tired gal. The room was comfortable with a couple of free water bottles. Yes it has some wear and tear on the walls but it was quiet and clean and safe. No allergic reactions to any smells. Slippery bathtub so be careful. Comfy bed! Worth having a safe place to rest between flights.

    I stayed at this facility during postop recovery and loved every minute of it. The facility is well priced extremely clean five minutes from the airport lots of local restaurants and establishments extremely close to the highway and any car rental centers. It was incredibly safe even at night time I didn’t use the amenities, but I saw a lot of people using them and they were well capped. The front desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable their snacks and ready to go lunches and drink drinks to purchase in the lobby there’s also a restaurant in the lobby. The buffet is normally for local cruises were import, but the restaurant looked pretty nice a little bit overpriced for the area. My only issue was paying for parking, but it is what it is you can’t beat the price of the room.

    Hotel looks fresh and is close to the airport basically thats it. Otherwise looks like place designed and run by clowns 1) rude and arrogant/absent reception stuff, not taking phone call from the room 3 times in a row 2) clownish parking system - most airport hotels provide free pkng, i am ok with paying but not through using some app and paying extra fees 3) weak shower pressure and slow warming of water 4) bfast: a lot of pseudoglamour but cheapest tea bags... Overall: a lot of stuff not needed at airport hotel, and absence of necessary one

    Hair in sheets and all through the shower, wifi and cable didn’t work, sewer backed up into the shower while we slept and went back down by morning leaving sludge all through the tub so we never were able to shower. I was told they didn’t have anyone to fix the tv and wifi issue and then the next morning I was told no one could offer me even a partial refund for any of the issues including sewage and to email the manager. Expedia reached out to them and they were told to wait for an email response. Typical crappy hotel giving customers the run around because they are an airport hotel and people are going to stay there either way. Pool was very cloudy so we also did not swim. Would not recommend. Period. Our next hotel was fantastic and had amazing cleaning staff and no issues with any basics or amenities. Consider staying at The Radisson Miami Beach instead!

    The lobby/bar area is beautiful with a pool table. The pool area has a decent amount of seating and two cabanas. The menu options were few and pricy, but I get it, its Miami. There is a buffet which I did not indulge. The hotel does provide a take out menu. The hotel rooms are basic, furniture a little worn, dresser drawers did not close, just hanging open all night. The balcony was nice. A couple of chairs would've made it even nicer. TV connection was sketchy, when streaming. Decent pantry for quick bites and snacks. Stayed two days at different intervals. Its fine for a one - two night stay. Shuttle service from the hotel to the airport was smooth. However, shuttle service from the airport to the hotel was over an hour wait.

    Loved proximity from airport as well as shuttle that also took us to Cruise ships at the port for $17 each. Also there is an enterprise car rental next door which is much more convenient than renting from airport. The continental breakfast could definitely use more variety especially turkey products for such a lovely venue looking out to the pool, but overall very convenient.

    Great place to overnight. Shuttle was reliable at 1 a.m. Great late breakfast until 11 and noon check out. You will need earplugs though. Morning traffic can still be heard but bed was super comfortable and some soundproofing and black out blinds.Awesome for an over night transit.

    The property had a face lift but the electrical outlets didn't work. We could not call the front desk from our phone. The bathroom had no counter to put items on. There was a coffee maker but only 1 packet for it & no plug to plug it into that worked. The shuttle to the airport is Not worth it (it stops at multiple hotels), take an Uber directly for $8!

    I enjoyed the location of the property and its proximity to the airport as well as the seaport and even south beach was about 25 min via rental car. Pool is open as late as 10pm which was really nice. My recommendation is to have more cabana’s and maybe even a DJ on the weekends but it was still very comfortable and relaxing. I was a little disappointed with breakfast, not enough variety for such a nice venue. My suggestion is to offer more and watch ch how the people flock to this area which will attract more guests. The shuttle service was excellent as well from the airport and a small $17 dollar fee to the seaport for drop off. Overall very good experience.

    Even when I stated after a few hours of it that I understand the kids are excited and having a good time, after 9:30 pm it was just time to be done. If he would’ve just started with “I’m sorry” it would not have bothered me as much. But we are also paying cyst. Stayed here twice for cleanliness and convenience but our group will no longer choose to stay here.

    It was in a great location not to far from the airport, it was clean, and smelled really fresh!!! Thank you! The bed was comfortable and I have no complaints. Check in took a little longer than expected, but it was moreso due to another guest and not the employee. When I went to purchase an item, he brought me to the front of the line and I didn’t have to wait, so it balanced out. ?

    The hotel is older, but renovated and clean. It didn’t smell bad, so that was a big plus. The hallway areas actually smelled pleasant. The room was large with a huge, comfortable bed (pillow-top mattress), a writing desk, chest of drawers, two small side tables, large flatscreen TV and the usual amenities: coffeemaker with coffee and tea, ice bucket, alarm clock, hairdryer, clothes steamer/iron, Archive toiletries (nice green tea scent), plenty of towels (they weren’t soft though), safe, mini fridge, complimentary water bottles, etc. The balcony was a nice feature. You could step outside and get some fresh air. The lobby area had a small market with drinks and snacks, an Italian restaurant, business center, ATM, books you could borrow, and a pool table. There was a pool in the back. The second floor had some meeting rooms. There were six floors. The main negatives were the customer service (the front desk staff didn’t tell you where the gym was or the ice machine and weren't helpful or engaging). Second, the planes flying overhead were very loud and went on well past midnight. The gym was very small with a few cardio machines and free weights. The hotel is pet-friendly with a small outdoor smoking area. The area had a few restaurants and was 0.5 miles to Target, a supermarket, and more restaurants.

    I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were kind and really helpful. There’s a shuttle available for purchase ($17/person) that takes you to the port. This was really convenient for me. I also needed to print something that I forgot at home and I just emailed it to the front desk and they printed it for me. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

    My daughter and I stayed at this location recently and we were really happy with our stay. The location is amazing, the cleanliness is impeccable, the staff is more than happy to help and the parking lot is well lit. The rooms are clean and no musty smell. There’s even a little balcony which was nice to see the cityscape and planes taking off/landing. Elevators were excellent as well and in perfect working order. We have zero complaints and will be booking here again!

    The drinks and bar food were very good. The bartender was also the waiter, busboy, and cashier...way too much for one person. It was very difficult for him to take care of everyone. Thank goodness we weren't in a hurry. Poor guy did get it all handled! Bathroom fan did not shut off all night, coffee maker couldn't work where located as there was no outlet to plug into and the hair dryer did not work. Morning clerk wasn't interested in helping. Ilsa in housekeeping did as much as she could and did find a handheld hairdryer for me to use. Ilsa was the highlight of our stay.

    The breakfast had limited options and for that I think it should’ve been included in the cost of the stay. In my room, there was a 4 inch french fry on the floor under the desk and the cleaning team cleaned two out of my three day stay and that did not touch that french fry which I came and saw there to begin with since I did not have french fry in my room.     The phone inside the room didn’t work. I discovered this when I called to try to find out why the internet wasn’t working. Because apparently you need to be connected to WiFi to watch tv. I called the hotel from my cell phone 4 times & nobody answered. I went back down to the desk and the guy working told me the internet worked. We went back & forth because how are you telling me it works when I spent the last 30 minutes trying to get it to work? Finally he said he’d send someone. Maybe half an hour later, the same guy who unlocked the door shows up. Now this strange man is standing in front of the tv, remote in hand while everyone is in pajamas, in bed. After trying to connect the tv to the internet UNSUCCESSFULLY for about 10 minutes, he left. The front desk guy knocks on the door with a key saying we have a new room. We had to move in the middle of the night just to watch tv.

    I got Charged $50+ Dollars for breakfast. Had to ask for waffle mix. Sausage was overcooked and dry. Potatoes and eggs were cold. Had no fruit except whole apples and bananas. I could have gotten better breakfast at McDonald's for a lot less. Will not book here again.

    One of my favorite parts of this hotel was that they had luggage storage so when we got off of the cruise ship, we could not check into our rooms yet, but they took our luggage for us and kept it safely back in the office so that we could go visit Miami and then come back to the hotel when our room was ready.     This is a very average hotel. The room was missing shampoo and Kleenex. The television was not working very well. There was hair in the bathtub. It wasn’t like one strand. It was like four. When I was in my room, there was no information about anything. I had to guess what the breakfast hours were I had to guess at where the pool was I had to guess about everything. The staff was fine, but not terribly happy to be there from the looks of things. I will say that the breakfast was very nice. The staff was courteous, and the food was excellent. The parking situation is weird because they don’t own the lot. You have to do everything through a third person. After taxes and convenience the parking was $27. I knew that there was a fee coming in, but I thought it was $20. That’s not a big deal, but after all the tiny inconveniences that I had to deal with, it was just another irritation.

    Shuttle from airport drove past us three times at door 22. I tried to call hotel for help… no one would answer just a recording. Shuttle driver said shuttle was full every time.     --- I was assigned a room where, immediately upon exiting the elevator, there were large air fans running in the hallway. The carpet was damp and there was a strong smell of mold and mildew. When we entered our room, the carpet inside was also damp and the room felt extremely humid and uncomfortable. We stayed for about an hour. I took a shower, but the bathtub did not drain properly. I went downstairs to inform the front desk and was told they were “probably cleaning the carpets.” The staff member was dismissive and not helpful. We left for lunch and, upon returning, I requested to be moved to a different room due to the conditions. The front desk manager went to inspect the room and eventually reassigned us. However, instead of being understanding or accommodating, he was rude about having to switch our room. Later, after we had changed rooms, I received a phone call stating they found “blood stains” in the previous room and that I would be charged $50. I explained that my 4-year-old had been eating Hot Cheetos and may have wiped his hands on the bedding, and that it was not blood. I even offered to clean the Cheeto residue myself. The manager dismissed my explanation, claimed he had taken a photo, and insisted on charging me. When I went back to the front desk to discuss the charge, I was told nothing could be done because the manager had already applied it. Overall, this was one of the worst customer

    Staff was fairly unfriendly at check-in. No directions to the elevator or where the room was. Hotel was clean. Two of the dresser drawers kept opening up on their own, that we never touched. The air conditioning was noisy and didnt cool the room evenly. It was ok for a 1 night stay.

    I needed a room for the night to catch an early flight next morning. This place was quiet and clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a good shuttle that runs 24 hs a day and a restaurant on site with reasonable prices.

    My husband and I booked a room here to catch our cruise the next day. First, the shuttle from the airport was great (on time and the driver was very nice). The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming. We arrived a bit early and they let us check in because there was an available room. The hotel and room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We took Ubers to the mall and to a local restaurant and it wasn’t expensive. There was a shuttle to the port the next day and that was also great. I would definitely recommend!

    then TV did not turn on, no answer at front desk so back down elevator to front desk, man at desk called engineer, but after 20 min of waiting for him, he found out the engineer had gone home. Then asked for a wake-up call at 6am to catch flight, front desk guy repeated time and room number but the wake up call mever happened and MISSED OUT FLIGHT! Front desk said there was no record of a request for a wake up call. What a complete disaster. We are going to see if manager can make this right for us, for as it stands we’ll never return to this very sub-par operation.

    We arrived at the hotel and were able to check in w/o an early check-in fee. The hotel bar offered tasty lunch options at an affordable price. The room was comfortable and quiet, which was very much appreciated since I was suffering from post-cruise vertigo. My only frustration was my inability to watch TV w/o use of a streaming service.     Front desk person with the blond hair was horribly rude. We came around 9 am to ask about early check in and she flat out said no, didn’t check or anything. We came back around 12 to ask again, and I watched while at least 2 rooms worth of people checked in in front of me without issues. I get to the counter and ask again she says no, once again without checking. Once my face shows irritation and I ask for our stuff, she finally checks and says a room is available. Not sure what her issue was, if it was just rudeness or racism but either way that really tarnished the experience for me, if I could’ve changed hotels I would have. The room was nothing for her to gatekeep, the bathroom wasn’t very clean and we found hair on the sheets, in the bathroom and on the towels.

    This hotel left me deeply disappointed. The airport shuttle arrived 90 minutes late, creating unnecessary stress. When I addressed this at the front desk, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive, with no apology or effort to resolve the issue. What crossed the line was being threatened with calling the police simply for advocating for myself. That response was alarming, unprofessional, and completely disproportionate to the situation. It’s also worth noting that reviews from the past few months consistently mention front-desk issues, which suggests a larger, ongoing problem. The outwardly polished greeting and advertised shuttle service are misleading and do not reflect the actual guest experience when problems arise. I would strongly recommend choosing another hotel.

    We had to stay additional night in Miami due to flight cancellation. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and got us a room quickly. Overall it's very clean and I think it's under renovation as i see areas that been painted recently. Room was spacious with a large screen tv, coffee maker, fridge and ironing board. Safe was old but functional. Bed was comfortable. The room felt little odd though as it's spacious but lacked furniture. Lot of empty spaces where a chair or sofas could be utilized.

    This was an absolutely amazing gem of a hotel. Very clean, extra wide hallways with two elevators! Large room with king size bed with lots of space too! You also have a balcony! The entire space is being freshly painted! Incredible staff from the moment you get on your free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The staff at the desk are fabulous, very professional and extremely helpful. They have a lovely bar/lounge as well as a nice restaurant on site. If the restaurant is being used for a private function, you can order your food at the bar/lounge to either eat there or have or delivered to your room. We enjoyed the pizza! Beautiful pool and loungers as well. All in all a very nice, comfortable and beautiful place to stay and enjoy! If we are ever in need of a place to stay while in Miami I would definitely be back.     Hotel under construction, holes in the walls behind the nightstands, extension cord run underneath the mattress I have to think is a fire hazard and orange traffic cones in the hallway to my room that looked like a murder scene. Oh yea, they also had a huge event at the hotel that night, so it was noisy as all good out until late. Overall, a horrible experience. Don’t stay at this place.

    The room was acceptable. The front desk staff was not. arrived at Miami airport after 1am and called the hotel for the shuttle. The front desk clerk informed me that the shuttle was on the way. After 30 minutes I called back to the hotel and the front desk clerk said the shuttle driver was on break. After waiting over an hour, I called back and the shuttle driver arrives and hour and a half later. When I arrived at the hotel the same front desk clerk was there with an attitude. Next morning, I called the front desk for a ride to the Miami port that showed $17 for the trip from the hotel to the Port. The front desk clerk assigned me a ride that cost me $85 instead. Will never do this again...

    We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. To start, we waited 45 minutes for the “free hotel shuttle,” only to find out that the property does not have its own shuttle. They share a shuttle with several other hotels, including all the Sonesta hotels. We ended up calling the hotel for help, but the front desk staff member had difficulty communicating in English and raised their voice at me instead of assisting. When we finally arrived, the front desk agent did not greet us at all—no “hello,” no acknowledgment—and the check-in process for just two rooms took over 20 minutes. Each time I asked if everything was okay with our reservation, the only response I got was “good,” without further explanation. Our rooms were located on the 4th floor, and the condition of both rooms shocked us. There was visible mold, the carpet was dirty and dusty, and the bathroom was in poor condition. The musty smell in the room was overwhelming. Our son’s room down the hall had the same issues. The next morning, my son and his girlfriend went down for the free breakfast that was included when I booked the rooms—but the hotel staff refused to honor it and told them they had to pay $27 USD per person. Be very cautious if you book this hotel expecting breakfast to be included. Take a screenshot of the listing, or better yet, avoid booking here entirely.     Shuttle from the airport was great, but they changed our room type from 2 queen to king without any notice and they were sold out. Since I was traveling with my mom, it was not comfortable at all and has to sleep on a sofa. The AC was loud, room didn’t feel clean, bathroom fan was not working. No water in the room.

    Dozens of people were in line waiting for 3:00 to be allowed to check in. This delayed everyone's checking in. When I finally got to the counter, my reservation could not be found,even with my confirmation number. The size room I had reserved was not available and I was given a smaller room.

    The guy staff member at the counter around 11:30 PM on December 4th was very rude, not proactive, and quite disrespectful to everyone waiting to check in. On top of that, the shuttle bus took about 1 hour and 10 minutes to pick us up at the airport. The room was just okay — the carpet needs an upgrade, and the AC was extremely loud.

    The front desk staff were very rude and short with us any time we spoke with them. They were very unorganized during the check in process. Within the room it was decent, but the set up for cable/tv was very confusing, this coming from a millennial. We wouldn’t recommend or return.

    The hotel was centrally, located to everything within walking distance, except for the airport, which they had a shuttle for which was great! The check into a long time they only had two people helping at the check-in desk. The rooms were kind of dated, but all in all we only use the room for one night so that we could be there a day before we head out on our cruise so it was convenient. I’d probably stay there again.

    The customer service is terrible. Never had such experience in any other Sonesta. The front desk doesn’t pick up even after calling 20 times. We were party of four and they gave us 2 towel. We had to go downstairs to ask for towel. The room service guy was rude and hung up the phone while you are talking.

    Hotel is old! When you stand in the shower the floor beneath the tub is squishy and feels very unsafe. The air conditioner does not regulate. The patio furniture around the pool is worn or broken. You do not require a room card to access the elevators, so we received multiple flyers under our room door. The restaurant was no open due to limited staff. Called the hotel 8 times from the airport at 11am. No one answered the phone. They don’t take cash for food $5 can of pop. The advertisement shows a breakfast buffet. However it was $60 USD for a buffet that consisted of toast, bacon, scrambled eggs and corn flakes. The rooms are not sound proof. Plugs in the bathroom did not work. I would NOT recommend. Fair nicer places to stay on Miami for the same price point.

    I've stayed here a few times for work when I need a last minute hotel room. It serves that purpose and that's it. The last time I stayed the water did not work in 5 rooms that I tried. Come to find out that they were doing repairs. The front desk didn't share this bit of info until an hour into my musical rooms game. Buyer beware.

    Don't remember the photos of the Hotel same as the Regency or from Sonesta next door. Shower water have no pressure for a massage. No tea bag. Room smells like a very old building. Don't remember the hotel disclose the destination fees of $20 upfront. TV has no cable and regular channels. Don't wanted your money. Pay a more for a lot better hotel. The only hotel I am doing a review after traveling for decades with little problems with other hotel I stayed at .

    Supposedly, Breakfast was offered 7am to 11am went downstairs to eat at 9:30am, eggs, bacon, potatoes trays completely empty, no creamer for "COLD" COFFEE, about 5 pieces of pastry left, looks like a hungry crowd ran through the area, I was told trays will not be replenish. Very indifferent staff. Front desk was no better. I had a question about my room and one of the "managers" (as he identified himself) was so rude I was muted. Check in line took me 45 mins (there were so many people that the line was out the front door) with only one staff person checking guests in. After 40 mins another staff came to help with a "be thankful Im here" attitude. WON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

    I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel in Miami. The pictures online were very misleading — the property looks run down and in need of serious maintenance. The hallways and rooms felt outdated, the paint was chipped, and some of the furniture was worn out. I expected something much cleaner and more comfortable. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel welcoming, and I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it until the hotel makes major improvements.

    Very convenient and close to airport. 24 hour shuttle is a great amenity. The room though had a very noisy A/C which we figured would be okay but the noise became unbearable as the night went on. I should have requested for a room change but we left to go catch our flight at 5 am anyways.
