    It was very clean! Hotel staff was very friendly! The rooms are nice and spacious! We stayed in a king size single room. Loved it. Only stayed for 1 night to go on cruise next day but would definitely stay again. You do have to pay for parking though

    Quick check in. Nice property. Well maintained. Very clean space. 24 hour shuttle is one of a kind and an excellent service. Only problem was the beds which were soft and lumpy so sleeping was an issue. Otherwise I recommend.

    Overall beautiful rooms. Maintenance comes every morning to clean if you need it. Biggest let down is the pool still not being accessible after 2 years. The hotel next door has a nice pool that you're able to go to if you'd like. Food is edible. I wouldn't say horrible but also not worth the pretty penny you would probably pay

    Front desk was friendly and helpful! I was checked in quickly and greeted with a complimentary drink voucher-what a welcomed surprise! Drinks and dinner was delicious and the bedding was superior. I would definitely stay again. Great location for cruise goers as it is a short distance from the airport and the ports.

    We were on 3rd floor and 1 of 3 elevators wouldn't recognize button for 3rd floor. Annoying when you're trying to catch another elevator too but keeps going to that one. Numerous times I had to go up to 2 or 4 to come back to 2. Never told about the pool being out until October or so. The worst was the bathroom in our room. It had a constant sewage smell. And when we ran the shower, it was a lot worse. Imagine showering in sewage smelling water and expecting to feel clean.

    Quick stay overnight. Arrived in evening and staff was very friendly at check-in and checkout. Breakfast was good. Beds were okay but I was too tired to complain. Very clean rooms. Satisfied with stay.

    Close to the airport Staff were abrupt and not happy to assist with an unmade bed. Even though this was requested in the original booking. They said they would come and do this but never came, even after I went back down to reception. My husband ended up sleeping on an unmade sofa. Not what you’d choose after an international flight. The hotel was also a bit run down eg pool was empty and taped off.

    The TV did not work so we asked for help. A person came and made it work while he was in the room. After dinner we turned on the TV but it didn’t work no matter what we did. It tired me to try to turn it on. The same happened this morning but I just turned it off.

    I can't to much, because we got there very late from our trip to Europe. We landed at 10:30pm. I did not get back to hotel until midnight. I had to call the pick up like 3 times. I got off on exit 25, now me & my husband are 65 & 64. The guy in the front desk tells to walk to Exit 3. We did that after being up 24 hours and the time change. Finally, when the shuttle got there like around 11:30pm. His stops at Exit 22 to pick up other people. Was so piss off at that point. But, did not say anything we usually tip the driver, but I was so tire and exhausted by that time. I just want my bed. Unacceptable. But, the place is new and clean.

    Paid for a pool view room. Was unaware that the pool was closed (this was my fault for not looking on their website. I don't recall seeing anything about it at the time of booking on expedia), but it was a total bummer after booking for that reason. Our patio had furniture piled up on it so high that we had absolutely no view what so ever except of the mess, so we paid extra for nothing. The 24-hour shuttle was nice and convenient but it was extremely popular and packed. You do not make a reservation for the shuttle, it is first come first served- so be aware. We were the last ones able to cram onto the shuttle at 4am. The walls were PAPER THIN and I'm sure the patio door didn't help the situation. We were woken up at midnight by our neighbour screaming that it was her birthday and blasting music and making phone calls for over an hour straight. So loud that it sounded like she was in our room with us. It was awful considering we had to get up at 3am. I know this isn't the fault of the hotel, but no soundproofing what so ever. Check in was also quite slow and the line up went out the door for quite sometime.... the lobby was packed with people. The coffee machine was broken as well in the lobby. I probably would not stay here again because of these reasons. We unfortunately had to leave before breakfast opened so I did not get to try it.

    Room was spotless, everywhere was perfectly clean. AC set at a good level, refreshing but not too cold. Room size and layout ideal for my needs, good desk/chair for catching up on emails. Bed really comfortable, great mattress and pillows - firm but yielding. Bathroom was excellent, nicely accessorized, spotlessly clean. Shower pressure was best I have ever found! Easy check out. I didn't have time for breakfast at the hotel but it looked tempting! A great stay and will go back with pleasure! A+++

    We stayed one night before our cruise and one night after. Very impressive and clean rooms. We saw a pool through our window, but it was not filled and we're not sure why or even whether it was part of the hotel property. Loved having a thermostat instead of the typical noisy room unit found in many hotels. Breakfast buffet was decent, but pricey ($24/person when we stayed) - not sure if prepaying would have been less expensive, and I didn't see the option when we reserved. Internet access was decent, if not outstanding. Transportation to and from the airport was excellent, but we wonder why they don't offer transportation to and from the cruise ports. Would definitely say here again.

    There was no Bellman to assist with luggage. No valet parking as other sonesta resorts offers more care and amenities. My expectations were higher. I was disappointed to have to carry my luggage to the room myself and the cart didn’t fit. It was a struggle after a long tiring flight. It was the last thing I wanted to do.

    We stayed here for one night before our cruise and had a great experience. The shuttle access to and from the airport was very easy and convenient. They also offer a shuttle to the cruise port for $17 per person, and it was on time and well organized. The room was clean, the restaurant food was very good, and the staff was friendly and helpful.     The hotel is conveniently located by Miami International Airport. For an extra $40+tax, we were able to check in early. The room was nice, but the shower was terrible. It doesn’t drain properly, so we had to stand in a good foot of our own dirty water while showering to try to get clean after a day at the beach. The front desk staff were surprisingly unfriendly—not even a smile from anyone—which was very surprising and disappointing. For its proximity to the airport, I’d recommend it on that alone. Just don’t expect a smile or friendly faces when you walk in the door.

    The hotel was clean, but it wasn’t exactly what I expected when booking. I’d recommend calling ahead to confirm amenities and extra fees. The pool was out of service during our stay, the room wouldn’t stay cool, there was no microwave, and the water pressure was very low. Parking fees also vary depending on your stay, so be sure to ask about those ahead of time. Overall, not terrible, just a little disappointing compared to expectations.

    This was a very modern & stylish hotel in a very good location by the airport. The room was very clean & comfortable with cool LED accent lighting. Staff was very helpful & accommodating. There is an open deli area where you can buy snacks/food & get coffee, but many of the machines weren't working. The choices were still pretty nice. No microwave in the room is a big negative, but there's a common use one in the deli area. I will definitely stay here next time if I'm not going out to Miami Beach!

    At the front desk, you are often ignored while staff talk among themselves. No one acknowledges you unless you speak up or stand there waiting. At check-in, we were given no information about elevator locations, breakfast or restaurant details, or that the snack kiosk closes at night. The pool was still closed, even though I received an email saying it would be open after April 30. The pool also looks nothing like the photos online. The room doors are poorly sealed you can see into the hallway through the gaps, and noise carries easily. You hear doors slamming and full conversations as if people are inside your room. Check-out was just as frustrating. The parking gate had no attendant, and the machine was damaged. We couldn’t figure out how to exit and had to go back to the front desk, where we were told to press a “broken” call button a certain way to be let out. Apparently, it has been broken for months. This should have been explained at check-out. Never again.

    I chose this hotel because we wanted to relax by the pool for the day after getting off the cruise ship that morning. The pool looked lovely in the pictures. When we arrived, we were told that the pool was closed for renovations. I wish we had been informed of this in advance as I would have changed my booking. The restaurants was also closed until dinner so we could not get a meal there until later afternoon. We ended up at the pool and restaurant at the hotel next door. This was not ideal as we were travelling with our 87 year old mother. Other than that, the hotel is very clean, and well-located.

    The hotel was nice and the room was clean. Beds were ok and the shower could’ve been cleaned a little better as there were several strands of hair throughout. The air conditioner worked just fine, as well as the tv. There was no issue with water pressure or the temp. I didn’t too much care for the paid parking.

    My flight was delayed, causing me to have to stay overnight and this hotel was quite close to the airport and seemed better than the other options. The free shuttle definitely was a great add-on. My room was very clean and check-in was a breeze…. Especially after spending 12 hours in the airport waiting for a new flight, which never came. I would definitely stay here again.

    The hotel was good overall. We only stayed one night on a two queen bed room. We used the shuttle service from the airport, which was really easy because you can track the shuttle through the hotels official website. The air con at the hotel worked well and the beds were comfy, don't expect great views out of the window given it is an airport hotel, but there were no blazing lights and the curtains were decent. Breakfast was a buffet and had a good selection of food, servers were attentive, but the coffee could be warmer. We did find that the toilet in room was dirty upon arrival, although all the toilets in the lobby were kept clean. Our TV also did not work, but this didn't matter as we only stayed one night and didn't really need it. Would I recommend? Yes, because of the breakfast, comfy beds and convenient location.

    I also felt that the first floor was not very secure, since all rooms share access to the same balcony. There were guests outside the balcony door at all hours of the night, which added to the discomfort. Overall, I would only consider staying here as a last resort, especially since the price does not match the quality of the experience.

    The property seemed newly renovated, the room & bathroom were really clean, the bed was comfortable. Most of the staff were very friendly & accommodating, the bartender was really nice. We arrived early & the person checking us in gave us options for checking in early that were extra money even if the room was ready. She didn’t give us options for our luggage, we had to ask or any options for enjoying the hotel until our room was ready. We didn’t realize that the pool was out of service for repair & drained. Lounge chairs still would’ve been nice to relax in.

    Hands-down the worst shuttle experience of our lives. We had three hotel shuttles wave at us and drive right on by, despite repeated calls to the front desk and waiting for over an hour in Miami's worst cold snap in the past 50 years. It was miserable. The 4th shuttle tried to drive past (same driver as the first pass) and my wife had had enough--she literally jumped out in front of the shuttle and forced him to stop. When we got on board, the entire shuttle was empty--he was making rounds listening to music and not picking anyone up at all! Unbelievable. While we were loading up, the shuttle completely filled with other people we'd seen outside--he'd been bypassing other guests for the last hour too. On to some good things: The front desk manager, Autrice, is priceless. She apologized about the shuttle driver and assured us she'd handle the problem. She gave us some complimentary drink passes for the bar--which she correctly noted we needed by that point. She also upgraded our room. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed comfortable, with plenty of pillows. Water pressure wasn't too good, but the water was hot and never ran out. There was also a good amount of counter space in the bathroom. Automated light shut off quickly tho. Room was noisy with a large gap under the door that allowed hall light to flow in along with sound.

    When we checked in, we weren’t given any information about the property, available alternatives, or even clear directions on how to get to our room. When we asked questions at the front desk, the staff member repeatedly said, “I don’t know,” without offering to find out or get help. It made the arrival experience confusing and unwelcoming, which was frustrating after traveling.

    HORRENDOUS. honestly so disappointing. we show up and check in takes 30 mins - inorder for the woman to HANDWRITE our individual breakfast vouchers 2x6 days. Just for them to then charge me at the end of week a breakfast charge every day we stayed. How do you both give me a voucher for the upgrade i paid for and then charge me again at the end of the week. Also the pool although it was running perfectly fine was closed (for who knows how long) but when its an airport hotel whos only perk is rooftop pool you might want to include that its closed. House Service was terrible. im fine with service only every three days. But when you’re there for 4-5 days and still no one had come. terrible. we ran out of everything toilet paper towels etc. We call to replace them. nothing comes. we go down to front desk to ask again finally then something shows up 4 hours later. We had to specifically ask for someone to come clean the room only to have none of garbage removed or the used cups provided in the room just still left behind dirty and unusable. The only good present and helpful staff was the service at the breakfast buffet. 3 employees out of the entire hotel. Now i get handle be charged extra. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

    The room was impressively large and thoughtfully designed. Having two beds made it especially comfortable, and the long console easily held two suitcases on top, which was incredibly convenient. There was also a cabinet with a refrigerator and a generously sized closet. The layout was excellent, and the room truly felt open, airy, and spacious throughout.

    Clean Room. Shuttle service was worst we ever had. Waited over 1 1/2 hours at the airport, called the hotel 5 times, told them what door for pickup. Only two shuttles went by during that time and they didn’t even slow down when we hailed them. Booked pool side room and pool wasn’t open (under construction).     Fast professional friendly check in, clean modern room, I was extremely pleased until I went to the restaurant….the sign said please wait to be seated so I waited and waited the staff at the bar saw me, one actually walked past me. I finally gave up and walked in and sat down, I asked for a menu and was served quickly then. No one asked me at any point if my meal was okay, if I needed anything else, no one acknowledged me again until I asked for my bill.     The room came with a $15 beverage credit. I asked about this and was told it couldn’t be used for water. The guy behind reception looked round in his drawer and found a piece of card that entitled us to ‘one beer, or glass of wine’ so no non-alchohol beverages. We got a beer, it wasn’t big, maybe a half pint. So basically don’t excited about the beverage credit.

    thie place charges $300 a night, but still want to charge us parking fee. In my opinion, parking should be included in the room rate. Also, if you're charging $300 a night, there should be daily room cleaning. The staff was rude as well.

    I never heard some one telling his costomer "there is nothing I can do about it" when I asked to extend my stay . I had to book through Expedia to stay there. It seemed to me they are treating Expedia booking as a second hand and low quality customer.. Shame..Shame on Sonesta and it is management. By the way when I asked to speak the front desk manger I was told not here and they don't what time will be here..

    The hotel has shuttle service from the airport, which worked well. The shuttle to the cruise port was disorganized, and we were fortunate to get on. The staff member who checked us in failed to add our names to the shuttle reservation. That added unnecessary stress on cruise day. Our family members had breakfast on cruise day and said that the food was good.

    Do not stay there in the winter months! We were there on new year Eve. This hotel has no heat. When we arrived in our room the AC was set on full blast. The room had no extra blanket. We slept in freezing cold all night, had to wrap a scarf around my head just to be able to fall asleep. Thought that we would stay one night to get comfortable before jumping on another flight the next day, turned out we ended up getting us even more uncomfortable.

    In addition, we were charged for parking, which was not clearly disclosed in advance. We were also told that breakfast was included, only to find out that a voucher was required to receive it. This was never explained at check-in and caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. Overall, this experience did not meet expectations, and due to the lack of transparency and poor communication, I would not stay at this hotel again nor recommend it to others.

    Expedia booking offered a free glass of wine or beer upon arrival. The room was very clean and had all of the necessities. The writing pad with encouragement to journal was a nice touch. Shuttle service was behind upon pickup at the airport. It took 35-40 minutes. The staff was just ok. Not very warm and welcoming or even upon exit.

    I said 3 nights 12-12-25 thru 12-15-25. We did not have any TV service in our room. They said the internet was out which affected the tv. We also left the room for the day and requested our room to be cleaned and serviced. We returned back to the room later that evening only to see that no one came to clean the room or provide us with clean towels. My wife and I were totally disappointed with this hotel. We will never stay at any Sonesta Hotel again.

    Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by a serious breach of privacy. On the second day, I was informed that my door lock would be changed. I explicitly refused consent, as I would be away all day with valuable belongings and confidential documents in my room. I clearly stated that any work could only be done if I was present. Despite this, the hotel entered my room and changed the lock without permission while I was absent. No one contacted me, approached me in the lobby, or informed me afterward. When I raised the issue with a supervisor and later with the manager, Karoline Montoya, both acknowledged the mistake and promised to follow up by email. No follow-up ever happened. This experience made me feel unsafe. If a hotel staff enters your room after you clearly deny consent, your privacy and security cannot be guaranteed. For any travelers in particular, this is unacceptable!

    Bed very comfortable and roomy for two people. Bathroom and facilities were excellent for a one night stay. Little details thought of with lighting, mobile phone charging and the alarm clock. Airport shuttle was easy to catch and track. WiFi required us to call the desk to ask for the password, which was easy to do. Would recommend when transiting through MIA.

    My room was super spacious, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Miami and need to be close to the airport. The only gripe I had was that check-in wasn’t until 4pm and I had just got off of a cruise so I was extremely tired. I eventually asked if I could check-in earlier and the lady at the front desk was nice enough to get me in before 4pm.

    This is my go-to hotel when visiting Miami. Great location near Miami international airport. Hotel is well kept and has good sized rooms and amenities. Ample parking is present though it is not free. Staff is excellent. There is a nice bar and restaurant near the lobby.

    Good points: the place is quite clean. Shuttle was helpful, although it took a bit to get one to stop for us. Staff was friendly enough, even if perhaps not well organized. Bad points: There was a long delay at check-in. Apparently they were quite full and it was already 9pm. We reserved a King bed and they gave us a 2-bed room. We were exhausted so chose not to go back down and request a new room. While the beds were comfortable, the pillows were incredibly hard. Impossible to sleep on, actually. We managed to get a good sleep, after all. All things considered: if you want a clean, inexpensive hotel near the airport, this may work for you. For us, we won’t return.

    Again, I could not cancel this reservation due to cancellation policy being non refundable. We had stayed here a few days ago and they did not offer an upgrade (the place is empty) and we received a coupon for one glass of house wine, or one beer or well drink. The drink menu pricing which I reviewed indicated these options were no where near the $15 added value as advertised in the benefits of booking this hotel. I did ask the bartender if my “$15.00 benefit” could be applied to a $12.00 glass of name brand wine and they said “no”. As a platinum Expedia member this was not VIP value and was indeed deceptive advertising. I would recommend Expedia VIP members to book across the street.

    Room including bathrooms was very clean. Bed was super comfortable. Free airport shuttle every 20 minutes. Short ride to the hotel from the airport. Starbucks and target within 15 min walking distance. Hotel has restaurant and bar. Excellent food and drinks at restaurant across the street from hotel. Hotel breakfast buffet was pricey. Low cost breakfast across the street. Low cost transport to cruise ship terminal 2x per day. At 9 and 11. Hotel modern and renovated. Car parking is extra. I would definitely stay here again. Perfect for going out on cruise the next day or for visit friends and family.

    Only issue was that I had a rough night sleeping due to the height of the pillow. Wife and I basically slept on a folded towel because of neck pain from the pillows. (We're in our early 30s. lol)

    Hotel does not offer daily house keeping, they clean the room every 3 days !! Bar/restaurant staff was amazing. Lorena and Jorge went out of their way. The chef Junior even took the tome to come to our table.

    Buen hotel. Tener en cuenta no incluye desayuno, no hay room service. El minibar ni funcionaba, pedimos sorporte y nunca vinieron a revisarlo y se nos malograron nuestras cosas. No sé si regrese pero considero que es buena opción por ubicación cercana al aeropuerto

    Front desk agents always had an attitude, housekeeping, staff amazing the only thing they need to be bilingual hardly any of them could speak English overall an amazing stay very convenient for getting around in Miami and so close to the airport, but besides hearing every little movement in every other room around me, it was a great time

    Hotel is renovated. Rooms are clean and so is the hotel property. Quite a few dining options that are walkable. Plenty of parking. The only downside was the pool was on the renovation.

    I slected this hotel for the pool and airport shuttle, selected a poolside room as well for easy access to it for our stay. After speaking with person at check in that we would need to wait another 3 hours for our room to be ready I asked how to get to the pool. This is when they finally notified me that that the pool is CLOSED for maintenance. Nowhere during filter search on Expedia or when selecting the POOLSIDE room did it mention there is NO pool available. I would NOT have selected this location had the information been provided upfront.I have screenshots of hotel website advertising POOL including EXPEDIA site filters this location with a POOL. If the pool is not available it should not be marketed as having a pool. I am now fighting over refund as we booked another hotel also with airport shuttle and an actual availabe pool as advertised. Very poor experience all aroynd including spending an hour back and forth with hotel and Expedia when requested to cancel our stay.
