I have stayed at this hotel by choice for a number of years when near SFO. I was very happy on this stay to see the improvements that have been made to the property. It was always kept clean, but was also really showing it's age. The recent updates really brighten the rooms and even the reception area. Bravo! Unfortunately my check-in experience will give me pause on whether i stay here again. The young (seemingly new) reception staff that welcomed me was perfectly pleasant and helpful. When i asked, as i always do, whether i could add my Bonvoy number to this third party reservation an older staffer informed the younger staffer that guests can't "double dip" in two loyalty programs because that's cheating the system. What remained unsaid is that i have lifetime Bonvoy status. I get no program benefit by adding my Bonvoy number other than allowing Marriott and myself to better track my travel experience (if you travel extensively you know that this is valuable information to track). Other Marriott hotels always gladly add my Bonvoy number to third party bookings. They also don't go out of their way to insult me at check in. I normally don't comment on one-off incidents like this because it's always possible that the offending party was simply misunderstood. This instance was pretty hard to misunderstand though. I think if we spend years worth of nights being loyal to a brand we deserve at bare minimum not to be insulted by that very same brand.

Great location close to train/BART. Very helpful front desk staff.

NOT MUCH. Breakfast was not what I expected, it was in the lobby and very limited. the staff was very confused with the billing, and over charged me for my stay. It was up to me to contact the credit card company and the hotel accountant to resolve the issue. not very professional. The hotel is remodeling and did not have any bottled water or other food items to purchase. the tap water in this area is not the best, so if you didn't bring water with you...

breakfast was great with excellent selection and everything fresh There was nothing I did not like off the top of my head. Perhaps some more comfortable chairs in the lobby would be nice.

I extremely hate the noise of the fire alarm that went off 3 times during the remaining 4 hrs of our stay. We checked in late so my husband and I tried to get more sleep/rest when all of a sudden the fire alarm went off. We were awaken 3 times.

Staff is friendly and excellent. Place is being renovated. Fire alarms going off, extra walking distance reaching parking lot and amenities not available. Understandably they will look better and be better soon. But for now, I wouldn’t want to stay again until renovations are completed.

This property has small suites in very good condition. Very convenient to SFO. Pleasant and competent staff.

No airport shuttle. Paid $60 in taxi fees despite being very close to the airport.

Love them the staff is awesome😊 good breakfast overall good customer service and willing to explain any concerns or questions without the attitude which I love..... It's my stay every time I'm in town

Clean, spacious, location, nice staff A little pricey and the traffic light in front is dangerous
- 4/5
Parking easy , breakfast not that great
- 5/5
Room is big and like the living room None
- 2.5/5
They didn’t clean our room.
- 3.5/5
Walls too thin! Could hear occupants in next room, talking, snoring, and alarm buzzing in the middle of the night. Didn’t make for a good night sleep that’s for sure!

Major construction site. Should not be offered until construction completed. My credit card charged. I did not stay.

Staff members were really nice and welcoming.

Convenient, excellent stay. Walking distance to the Milbrae BART/CalTrain station makes it ideal. The morning breakfast which begins at 6 am has a variety of food and choices.

Great
- 2/5
Hotel is very run down, room floor felt damp. Pool is under construction. Overall just not a very nice property. Room was clean but smelled mildewy.
- 3/5
I asked for a quiet room and it was anything but that. Faced an open lot where delivery trucks and all kind of noise going on late in the night and in the early morning. I could not sleep.
- 0.5/5
Nothing Under renovation. ROOM was dirty and old .Air conditioning not working .We had such difficulty dealing with front desk, they told us to contact Booking .com and they transferred us overseas.Crazy.We did finally get transferred to a better room .We were to stay 2 nights and left after one.Of course charged for both nights.Aweful.Ferdinand at front desk was nice.
- 3/5
Overall, its a decent hotel, customer service is not at the standard I'd expect a Mariotte hotel, but other than that its a pretty decent hotel for a budget stay.
- 4.5/5
Like the location to restaurants and BART Pool not open
- 1.5/5
Location AC is poor blows warm air
- 4/5
good place to stay. In particular if you need to use BART
- 5/5
Feel comfortable
- 3/5
The only reason we selected this hotel was the statement on your website that they had airport shuttle service, which was false. We spent spent 24 dollars on a cab to the airport, for which I think we should be reimbursed.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Don’t desk was very helpful.
- 4/5
Great location right across the street from our favorite restaurant and there is a cross walk. The hotel advertises 24 hour coffee, at 6am it is cold coffee from breakfast the day before. There are coffee pods in the room but I presumed fresh coffee in the lobby and that is not true.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
I would stay here again I love it. And must I say they have the most comfortable beds I’ve been in.
- 5/5
It’s under construction.
- 3/5
Two TV’s in the room, neither worked. Couple that with an added $8 fee and it’s unlikely I will stay there again.
- 5/5
Super convenient hotel. Lots of restaurants within walking area. Only 7 min ride to airport.
- 3/5
Breakfast options was okay, very limited options.. scrambled eggs and bacon from hot breakfast entry. Cerals, yogurt, banana, waffles. Room was very close to the road and next to taco bell. Was able to hear horn and road noise.
- 3/5
Contrast with Debbie who droned on about rules and showed little enthusiasm about her job. That transaction felt very corporate and cold.
- 5/5
Good location, convenient to everything, we'll definitely suggest to family/friends and very good breakfast.
- 4/5
Perfect location !
- 4/5
Great stuff but it's so jaded
- 5/5
The desk clerk was very helpful in getting our over-sized truck parked when it wouldn’t fit in the parking garage. She also gave us a good recommendation on where to eat.
- 2/5
One of worst Fairfield’s I’ve seen.
- 4/5
Check in was quick. Front desk was very friendly. Facility needs a littl upgrade though.
- 5/5
Great staff, could use some updating
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
The customer service was really good. I wish they had a better breakfast buffet, was quite disappointed in the options and expired milk. Also, I was told the check-in additional charge would be credited back to my account, but I still got charge the $8/per day for my stay. I've stayed in quite a few hotels in the area, and this was the first that I got a charge like this. Unfortunately I don't plan to stay here again when I return.
- 4/5
Just slept there
- 4/5
easy access, nice place ,close to everything.
- 5/5
We have stayed at your hotel before. We like the easy access to the airport and the hotel is clean and quiet.
- 3/5
Staff was great! Room was very dated and not super clean. Found hair clump in the toilet that wasnt flushed and sheets were cheap. Old carpet. Walls very thin and could hear people above you. Very good price but fair hotel overall.
- 5/5
Room was clean but felt like a hotel from the 80s. The room furniture was very old. The microwave looked like it was one of the originals. Bathroom was updated and very clean.
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 3/5
This hotel is quite a bit more shabby than in the pictures. Bed was somewhat soft, room cleanliness was average, and while the room had a lot of space everything felt well used. Breakfast was adequate. Staff seemed in a hurry to clean rooms.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay
- 5/5
Breakfast was generous. Would stay there again any time.
- 5/5
Convenient location for BART. Very walkable area for dining.
- 4/5
It's confusing that during booking you read there's an airport shuttle, but when checking in you get to hear there's no shuttle; shuttle is from another Fairfield inn hotel. Room looked old and carpet was a bit wet on one side of the bed. We had an early flight so breakfast wouldn't be ready. It was nice that we were able to take with us what was available during the breakfast prep.
- 3/5
Had trouble checking- in. Stay was ok and hotel is dated.
- 3/5
Checking good. Parking good. Breakfast good. The main issue was general condition. Rooms need refresh. Not up to standard.
- 5/5
Satisfied with overall stay experience
- 5/5
The best thing was the very delicious and varied breakfasts. I recommend this property y will to return.
- 2/5
the bed is not so comfortable and very itchy. the sink dont drained i mention to the receptionist when i left. the breakfast is good though and close to the airport.
- 4/5
It was a very nice and clean hotel, however if the pool was working it would have been a joy.
- 4/5
This property is about what you would expect, nothing more, nothing less. Breakfast was pretty good.
- 4/5
It's a convenient location. Breakfast is the best I have experienced so far. The wifi needs to be improved. If the bathroom has an exhaust fan that would be excellent!
- 5/5
Thank you for a visit. We had a good time and plan to return!
- 5/5
Great room - organiized in suite style with all convenient amenities a traveler needs away from home. The Manager, Michele was the best part of this hotel. A pity we stayed only one night
- 5/5
Quiet and modern and great staff...will be back.
- 3/5
no shuttle bus service between hotel and airport.
- 3/5
Service was very good. Amenties were as expected for a Fairfield Inn and there were multiple dining options within a 5-10 minute walking distance. The only problem was the noise, which prevented me from sleeping (I had just returned on an international flight so the point of the hotel was to enable me to get some sleep before driving home). I was in room 220, which is literally 10-20 feet from the Taco Bell drive-thru lane. You hear the orders constantly throughout the night... "Welcome to Taco Bell. May I take your order?" "Yeah, I'll have 2 quesaritos, one chalpua, a Mexican pizza, and a Coke." The employee then repeats the order and tells the customer to pay at the window. This goes on 24/7, so there's no chance of getting any sleep unless they're able to move you to a room on the north side of the hotel. Other than that, a decent place to stay right on El Camino. I recommend "Wonderful" for Hunan food two blocks away.
- 4/5
The beds and shower were comfortable which are my basic requirements. But the AC unit was old and did not cool the room adequately. The hotel was conveniently located to the Millbrae BART.
- 4/5
Good place to stay near SFO Airport.
- 4/5
Value for money
- 2/5
The entire facility is rundown and in dire need of upgrades. Everything is old and overused. Dust and dirt in the elevator. Stayed for two nights. No maid service. No clean towel. No one picks up the garage. Breakfast is okay. Very thin door with almost an inch gap at the bottom. Very noisy room. Filthy carpet in the hallway. I am more demanding because the price is not cheap. With taxes, parking, and everything else is close to $200/night but I am getting the quality of a Motel 6, maybe Super8.
- 5/5
The ladies at check in were really nice specially the lady that was at the front desk this morning. She greeted with a smile on her face, that's something you don't see very often. I travel a lot and at some hotels they don't even look at you. I did not know the hotel was next to the Milbrae station, so it was a bit noisy but after 9:30 pm I didn't hear anything.
- 2/5
The exterior windows to the building were opennd. Not sure why, but wierd. Maybe because it smelled musty. The hot tub/whirlpool was not working. There was a wierd texture in the bathtub. Definately the worst Fairfield I have stayed in.
- 4/5
Easy to park and great location near the airport. A ton of food options, and front desk staff is excellent.
- 4/5
Close to the airpprt
- 5/5
Great stay conveniently located by both Caltrain and BART stops. Just a few minutes ride to SFO. Worked great for my family with easy access for our stroller and infant son.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our visit

I have NEVER stayed somewhere that gave me an accessible room without telling me before I go up to the room. I shared a room with my teenage son. Having a bathroom door that does not completely shut with the ability to lock, is absolutely unacceptable. The door slid and did not fully slide closed. There was still an opening. Again, unacceptable. The mirror, sink and counter were outside of the bathroom. This was a major inconvenience. The hotel dismissed my issues completely & wouldn’t change our room. We cut our trip early and went home early because my teenage son was so uncomfortable. Do not ever ever stay here. The management is inept and were not available over the weekend, their busiest time.
- 2/5
I booked a king size bed and it was given away once I checked in. The hotel is backed up by a very busy road (El Comal Real) so we didn’t sleep well because of the heavy traffic. The toilet also clogged up and there was no one to bring up a plunger which we were charged for. Do not recommend!
- 5/5
Near the airport, good breakfast, nice and clean room.

Old and dark property in a good location
- 4/5
Old people to get up. Our only complaint.

Courteous staff. However, I could not sign up for Bonvoy Marriott account because I believe that my zip code was not accepted. Bonvoy Marriott needs to work on that.

We stayed 3 days and everyday the toilet was broken. None of the ice machines worked. The pool was not in a safe location my daughter felt everyone staring at them because no privacy. The a/c didn’t feel cold enough. The staff was very friendly. We have stayed at other Fairfield locations but definitely never coming back to this location.
- 5/5
For San Francisco hotels the parking is always an issue. I like the fact that I could park my vehicle myself. Their parking lot is below the hotel and even though it’s a underground parking garage, I didn’t feel unsafe as I was by myself however, it was daylight I’m not sure how it would be after dark.
- 5/5
Great night!
- 5/5
Near airport, short walk to train station. Room is clean and breakfast is fine.
- 5/5
Enjoyable stay and nice complimentary breakfast!
- 4/5
This is a good basic hotel for business and family travel. I especially appreciated that there were helpful people at the front desk who could answer a question. Having the shuttle service ($7.99, paid to the shuttle service) was crucial for me.
- 5/5
Excellent staff and location near SFO

I had made 2 reservations over Expedia , the hotel couldn’t find the second reservation, hotel was fully booked. Waiting in the lobby over 2 hours trying talk to Expedia because front desk didn’t. Very disappointed.
