Residence Inn by Marriott San Francisco Airport Millbrae Station

New and clean We had chosen the type of room with a certain bed configuration for a reason and was told I was "upgraded to a better room". When stating that we wanted to stay with the room I booked, we were told that there was only one room available for the night and it was the one offered. Also, no shuttle and, while close to airport, UBER ride was ridiculously expensive.

The rooms are clean and accommodating. It's a very nice environment. The service was not great. We were there for 5 days and they forgot to clean our room after we asked them. We had to ask for towels, toilet paper, etc. Some of the staff was very rude. The breakfast was great! All in all the staff was rude, otherwise, it's a great place to stay especially if you have dogs.

Very close to the airport - friendly and clean - large suite/room - helpful staff - checked in late and staff were very efficient. I can’t get my head around the charge for parking but on this occasion they helpfully informed me that there were some parking spots appropriate for loading up our hire car, at no cost.

Clean room and amazing breakfast staff

The room wasn't clean on arrival, there were crumbs of food on the floor and in the wardrobe. Also I was surprised that they didn't provide a basic amenity kit by default.

It was clean and the breakfast was nice. I felt safe using all the entrances and exits. The gym was well maintained, and the pool was well maintained. The staff were friendly. They accept packages at the front desk. The rooms were spacious enough and well equipped enough. The property was fine. It would’ve been nice to have the option to have someone help me carry my bags because that was a lot of work. I would’ve gladly paid a tip or whatever.

Walked from bart/caltrain station to this hotel so i consider it close. Good window insulation from airplane noise but hopeless for footprint above you. It was as if elephants were walking on my roof and would wake me up in the morning and keep me awake untill 11pm when the people above stopped walking. This was a drawback of this hotel

Clean, new, spacious rooms with kitchenette. I love the breakfast, easy parking, 1 short block to Caltrain and bart when I don't drive. I discovered it when I was flying from SFO once (perfect location for that), but it has become my go-to place when visiting the Bay area since.

The location had a clean and modern look and feel, and the rooms were comfortable and attractive. I did not partake in the breakfast. There was nothing that I perceived as nagative.

They gave my room away claiming that they somehow got overbooked. They then said they had a room for me at a hotel 15 minutes away but turns out they had no rooms. They claimed that they contacted expedia customer service and that i would get an email and phone call for a reservation at a hotel in san jose - while I was driving to san jose (since I had already waited an hour in the lobby i wanted to get a head start on the drive). when i got to san jose to check my email there was no email. I tried calling the millbrae hotel and could not get anyone to speak with...same with your customer service - i could not get beyond the automated voice. Aside from the full refund I hope you can give me a good explanation of what happened on your end.....I expected to check into my reserved hotel at 12:30am and didn't end up getting checked into a replacement hotel (that I had to find myself) until 4am!!!!

Spacious big rooms without the clutter of unnecessary furniture tucked in every inch. Was clean and comfortable. Shower and bathroom were huge too and spotless. Felt like a new property. Check-in was quick and easy even though we arrived around midnight and the front desk was very helpful with parking instructions as well. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Brand new property literally within walking distance from the Millbrae BART station. I love that a bunch of convenient dining options are also next door. Staff members were helpful and friendly. Room was very comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

it’s loud and had industrial size power lines in the parking lot just outside the rooms. And $40 a night to park after paying $177 for a room is ridiculous.

Great for a night before an early morning at the airport. Steps from the BART train, and food across the street. Breakfast wasn't served until 7 AM the Saturday we left, so we missed out on that.

Would highly recommend it to anyone with high expectations.

Conveniently situated to SFO. The rooms are beautifully designed as well as the bathrooms. A small kitchenette is nice add on. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend this hotel.

The property was very nice. I enjoyed my stay. The only improvements would be the quality of the beds because they were hard and i woke up sore. Lastly would be the hours for the rooftop lounge area and the pool. I love it if they stayed open later.

I've stayed at many Residence Inn's over the years. This is the first one that charged for parking ($40/night).

I was charged extra for using a fork and plate, a mini dish detergent, along with the mini hand soap, not to mention the fork and plate were washed and all. I was charged over 120 dollars.

The laundry area was so clean and convenient. The fitness area was simple but it allowed us to get the job done. Overall the hotel was a great stay. Very clean and the customer service was excellent.

Me and my husband’s favorite hotel line, they never disappoint with the cleanliness and the quality of the room. Breakfast was very yummy too, very peaceful atmosphere with a waffle machine and a tv with a nice area to sit and relax or eat with family.

Brand new and little pricy but it was brand new hotel - hotels dot com says check out at 12 but keys all lock at 11am fyi I told the GM

Very clean rooms and great morning breakfast. Only reason it didn’t get a full 5 stars was the parking is $40. We landed after flying all day to have to grab our car from the airport after already paying for that to have to go pay for hotel parking.

The hotel is great, location was superb the only draw back is that the walls are too thin, you can hear people screaming or yelling outside the door unless those out the long term stayers that seemed to think they run the whole floor. The breakfast selection weren’t too bad, the kitchen staff were very pleasant. I just wish they offer more variety of options like flavored waffles and let dry sandwiches ( great idea for grab and go)

The breakfast option was a great, not much of a turkey sausage fan. The kitchen attendants were nice, sweet and friendly. The front desk staff doesn’t always acknowledge guest as they come in. This place is great for short term stay like a weekend getaway etc but definitely not for long term. I mean it’s great that the bed is placed away from the door but the walls are way too thin. I don’t know if there’s anyone else living here for a very long time where we have waken up in the middle of night to a sound of people screaming and yelling along the hallway. ( definitely not our business but it was since we were rudely interrupted from a much needed rest). Having a kitchen and full fridge is definitely a treat but I wish the vent are strong enough that if you try to cook dinner the entire room won’t smell like food.

Loved how new and clean this hotel is. It was a pleasant surprise for me to see full kitchens in airport hotels. Everything was great especially with the breakfasts! If i have to complain about one thing about this place it would be how noisy it gets; the acoustics here was pretty bad.. and it had nothing to with being near the airport..

We had an amazing stay! Definitely plan on staying here again and again. The morning front desk member was so incredibly nice and was able to check us in early, since we had an early flight arrival. The hotel is beautiful and so clean! It has 2 rooftop patios with great views. The breakfast was delicious with great options. It’s only a 3 minute walk to the BART/train station. This was our only method of transportation and it was so easy and convenient to get to and from SFO, SF, and Santa Clara. Highly recommend!

My stay exceeded my expectations! This appears to be a new facility, very clean, and well-appointed. Breakfast was included and was very good. Real scrambled eggs! Many other options as well. Someone else mentioned excess noise in their review..my stay was very quiet. No airplane noise at all. I stayed here just one night, on a layover from Australia and on my way home to Ohio. It was a great choice!

Nice new property. We got in very late and I asked to have the sofa made up for my son. They did not make the bed for us so we had to do it. I would have thought that at that price it was the least they could do.
