    The room itself was clean enough, but my comforter had a fresh blood stain and my sheets were stained yellow The shower faucet was not secured to the shower wall. The side door was not secured. Anyone could have walked in. We got down to breakfast at 8:30 and all that was left was was cereal, waffles, 2 juice boxes and coffee. Might be all they offer. Not the best experience, but better than sleeping in your car.

    The size of the room was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. The set up for handicapped in shower was good. The pub was excellent. The housekeeping people did not speak English. Too hard to communicate with housekeeping.

    Paid extra for the hotel as the breakfast looked better than the competition. Was sorely disappointed in the breakfast, just because it didn’t match the pictures provided. Had microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, cereal, packaged muffins, boxed juice, waffles.

    The property is basically falling apart. Several moldy or broken ceiling tile. The bathroom had been aggressively caulked with spotted stains of growth still slowing. A large chipped gash was in the tub. They were stains all over the back of the door. The lobby bathroom is accessible to the attached bar grill, with all the association of what to expect a bar bathroom to be. Extremely disappointing experience.

    The room had a stained, brown like old blood, on the comforter, the remote did not work. The original front desk person who checked us in was trying to charge us when we already paid through you all. Then went I went back to the front desk to complain about our room, there was a nice young man who offered us a different room. This room even smelled clean when we walked in.

    We had to change rooms two times due to ants and air conditioning and dirty bedding in the first room. Then the second room had dirty bedding and air conditioning did not work properly. Toilets were not cleaned well and bath tubs were cracked and dirty. The last room, the air conditioning worked but had to keep it at 62* for it to work. And the bedding was dirty as well as the bed frame. Another bathtub that had a big crack in it.

    The property is showing its age, the parking lot is in rough shape as well. The room was clean, but the shower diverter sent only 50% up to the shower head, and the tub drained so slow that in 5 min I was standing ankle deep in water. The AC worked great, that was critical it was in the mid 90’s, and for my 3 day stay I was working outside. There was a back entrance that should have required a key entry but it didn’t close tight so a level of security was lost. There were cameras everywhere but it might be too late to prevent crime. The attached pub had great food, and it seemed to be a local favorite stop as well. People were friendly. It was priced well for the accommodations and I would stay there again.

    The entry to the hotel is pretty rough, especially since there’s a bar entrance in the lobby frequented by locals. There was nobody in attendance at the front desk when I arrived that evening, and I had to wait quite a long time, including a call on the SERVICE phone which wasn’t answered, for someone to come to check me in. Other than that, however, the room was quite nice, updated and clean. Comfortable bed, nice linens. Breakfast was adequate, nothing special.

    We arrived after the posted check-in time and had to wait 30 minutes for an employee to come to the desk to help. I followed the instructions left on the counter which said to use the phone at the desk to reach an employee but nobody ever answered. I tried calling the hotel and still did not get an answer. I ended up having to contact hotels.com help desk and the agent was finally able to reach an employee who said he had been in the bathroom. Once I checked in, there was no apology for the wait. The “secure” door to the hotel from the parking lot had duct tape over the locking mechanism so the door was NEVER locked. The room was fairly clean but the bedding had lots of stains. The toilet handle did not work properly and you had to mess with it to get it to flush and then to get the water to stop running. The worst part was at 7:10 AM I was in the room by myself (my husband had left for his work event) and two employees barged in my room. They did not knock, they did not identify themselves they just used their key and came in. Once they saw I was in there they left laughing and again no apology. When we did check out the clerk asked if everything was ok and I said actually no and she just chuckled and said “have a good day”. Customer service fail!!

    I like quiet, clean and low-key. Stay for 4 nights didn't have a problem at all. A lot of truckers stay there so if you don't know how to tell a man no without looking like your flirting then you might get in trouble. But I felt completely safe and I'm in the extra short club

    The room was VERY clean and nicely updated. The entire place was quiet. The bed was clean and comfortable. We had the regular king size bed room, and it included a sofa and small ottoman, so it was nice to have a place to sit and watch TV- not having to be on the bed. The coffeemaker has disposable drip trays, which seemed a lot more hygenic. We didn't venture into the pool or exercise room, but peeked in them and seemed nice. From family, we were told the entire place had just underwent renovation- from what we saw, it looks completed and they did a really nice job.

    Forget about the picture showing a sitting area near the desk, this is actually the breakfast area. It consists of four small tables with thirteen chairs. DON'T drink the coffee! there is one waffle maker, some fresh fruit, and packaged muffins. the cooler offers juice, packaged microwaveable sandwiches and milk for the dry cereal. I'm allergic to eggs and diabetic. No good choices for me.

    The hotel is being renovated, so there was a lot of construction happening. The room was clean and so was the hotel even with the construction. When we checked in, the front desk ladies were not very polite. The hotel advertised a breakfast, so when I asked where the breakfast was, the lady said it was on this small table. There would only be fruit, juice, and muffins. When I said that’s not what was on the website, I was yelled at. Then she said with the renovation that’s all they could do for now. Why didn’t she say that nicely in the first place. She said she’s always yelled at-not my fault. You should NEVER yell at the guest.

    We have stayed in this hotel in the past.. this time the conditions have changed for the worse. During our two night stay our room was not serviced. Not changing the sheets is not a problem but to not even add clean towels or EMPTY THE TRASH CANS, is not acceptable. The biggest issue was the room had ANTS. We told the front desk and NOTHING was addressed. Vacuum the room may have helped. Put down ant traps. Nothing was done. To add to the lack of service was the lack of attention from front desk personnel who seemed like we were just a problem when in fact we were just asking to not sleep in an area infested with ants. We always stay at Choice properties and past could count on a stay of good quality. Not in this case. I’m very disappointed and I will definitely not return and I would not suggest this hotel to anyone.

    The staff was great, however the room was dusty even filthy in places, bathroom had hair everywhere in it, a/c and heat did not work. Walls cracked. Worn out hotel needs TLC.

    Our stay was less than favorable a few examples our room is not clean the next day until 7:00 at night the phone in our room did not work we reported it was never fixed while we were there they had a fire alarm go off while they were preparing breakfast one morning at 5:30 in the 5:30 a.m. and woke up the entire hotel they had a special in their restaurant and it's 6:00 on the day of the special they ran out of the food it was not good

    First, don't book this hotel from Expedia. They don't even offer the rooms that the site says they have. We booked a king and got 2 queens. Our stay was for 3 nights. The second day our room was never touched. Not cleaned, no new towels, nothing. When I talked to them, they said they had 40 checkouts and only 1 maid that day. The hallways are not air-conditioned and it's like a sauna on the second floor. The water pressure from the shower was fantastic. But the water didn't drain properly in the tub so it filled up with dirty shower water at your feet.

    I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the shower. It really needs a good scrubbing. Also there was hair on the shower walls. I had reserved a handicapped accessible room and was told it must have been overbooked. I was unable to take a proper shower. We stayed 3 days. I had called a couple days before to make sure I had the room I needed. The bed was too high for me. My grandkids loved the pool.

    This hotel needs to be refresh. Carpet smell real bad, curtains are « trash » and the air conditioning was very noisy…not a great experience.

    Bkfst was a egg muffin sandwich you had to prepare in your room microwave. Taste was fine. Also 2 blueberry muffins. Also had a leak at bathroom lavatory.

    This is a good stop if you are cycling the I and M Canal Trail. Clean and next door to an Italian food place. Only downside was the poor breakfast

    Check in was fast and friendly. Room horrible...or should I say rooms. Had to move 3 times because of large amount of ants. Eventually ended up in a room I didn't want just so we could sleep insect free. No breakfast as advertised. Never stayed here before and never will again.

    There's a bar connected to it with a sign to enter at your own risk, because nobody there was wearing a mask. Not sure how that's legal, but whatever. Do yourself a favor and pay a few more bucks to stay at the Holiday Inn Express next door.

    Older hotel but clean and comfortable. One of the reasons I chose to stay at this hotel was because they stated that they had breakfast included in the stay. However they only offered cereal and sandwiches that could be picked up at the front desk…

    Very good experience. Staff were helpful and friendly and accommodating. The only issue I had was that my card key stopped working twice on the morning I checked out which was a slight inconvenience. Other than that it was just fine and I will happily return in the future.

    Our stay wasn’t so pleasant.. the room looked clean but we had a spider in the bathroom and we brought left over pizza in and the next morning it was filled with ants.. it was disgusting!
