Close to the airport Breakfast included did not begin until 7am on a Saturday and we needed to get to the airport before that. Very strange as this is an airport hotel and many flights leave early.

The condition of our room was also not great. There were black spots like mold on the back of soap tray of the tub. The handles of the shower interfere with each other. So, hard to operate. Obviously, this hotel has some maintenance issues.

This property is clean and nice. The issues I had were the rooms were not very quiet. I could hear our neighbor talking in his phone all night. The are also is just below the take off and landing path of Raleigh Airport Planes take off and land starting at 6 am and may end at midnight. I will not stay at this Hotel when I return to Raleigh

Great hotel

Nice hotel with free breakfast. It is close to airport so you will have noise from planes, however, did not have any issues during the night.

Had to pay $20 to pay in the hotel’s parking deck. The pantry was scarcely stocked and the prices for what was available was ridiculous. Other hamptons have had much better pantries and even offered some free water.

We had a great stay here. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t get in until 2 am. Staff was absolutely amazing and so kind. My mom had a fall in her room around 6 am (she wasn’t hurt) but the front desk assembled a team to help her out. Later, another member of the front desk was so kind to my kids and me when we needed assistance with check out. The hotel was clean and comfortable but the staff made it a great stay!

Breakfast selection was very good but didn’t like the use of paper plates / plastic cutlery - I’m sure a hotel chain such as this can afford a dishwasher! The other issue is the environmental aspects of choosing to go along this line. What’s a shame is the rest of the hotel was excellent - which we used for two separate occasions.

We arrive and were given a room that was not clean. We had to be moved to another room which was taken care of quickly. Staff was very apologetic. Our new room was clean but the light around the sink did not work which was annoying. Made it difficult for us to do our hair and makeup. Front desk was very apologetic and gave me 2000 reward points on my Marriott Bonvoy account.

We always love this hotel

This was a very clean, comfortable Fairfield Inn. The beds were comfortable. The only negatives were that the airplane noise was very loud (I know, it's an airport hotel, but honestly, they sounded like they were taking off in our room.) Also was not happy that the scrambled eggs were cold on the breakfast buffet.

Only downside was shower water could definitely have been hotter. Otherwise, great hotel.

We arrived and no one was at the checkin desk. After ~15 minutes someone entered from outside the hotel and went behind the desk to check in the 3 parties waiting to be checked in. We were placed in an accessible room. The shower leaked water into the bathroom floor and the bathroom has several dead insects.

Can be noisy due to the vicinity to the airport, but that’s also a benefit if you need to fly out.

This property is just what you would expect from a Marriott Hotel. Very enjoyable stay.

Only thing that could improve was the mattress could have been softer.

Found a pair of black socks and used tissue on the floor under a chair and edge of bed from previous occupants when we arrived. Breakfast was good. Mini-Belgian waffle maker. Cheese omelets and scrambled eggs. Thin crisp bacon and sausage links. Oatmeal and cereals. Dairy items. Large clean area.

Literally the worst Marriot chain yet. Discrimination, lack of hot water, and multiple complaints about the poor service. I was part of an on site seminar and this was Not an isolated incident.

We arrived at 1 am after a long flight. Everything was ready for us and the desk staff was pleasant. My only complaint is that I had called the front desk earlier in the day to find out about the hotel shuttle picking us up at the airport. I was told that the shuttle ran every 30 minutes 24 hours a day. When I got to the airport, I called to see where to meet the shuttle and the desk clerk told me the shuttle quit running at midnight. I was tired and not happy to hear this. Staff should be better informed on this type of information.

Aside from that horrible disaster the hotel overall was clean enough for one night. Bathroom/vanity area could be cleaner. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and we had to ask for new sheets as the sheets on sofa bed didn't appear clean. We left early morning on airport shuttle which was on time but before any breakfast items were served. Being close to airport they should start breakfast earlier. I don't think we'd stay again. For the price ($180) the room features should have been as pictured.

The only issue I had was the lack of parking at the hotel. There were metal containers taking up spaces which caused me to have to park at the nearby restaurant and walk back to the hotel.

TV channel selection is bizarre. The generic remote does not work well with the cable selections. The facility is very well kept. Be aware that hotel is located at the RDU runway end can have some takeoff noise.

Property definitely needs some upgrades and better maintenance. Hallways are dated. Seams on walls and ceilings including the bathroom ceiling need repair as they're coming apart. There was a weird film on the window that should have been taken care of. Dusting needed. My husband complained of the hard mattress. I would stay elsewhere.

Overall great had a few stains on the carpet and curtains but i made it work. Wifi services leave a lot to be desired.

The property was nosy from our room location near a major street. However, we were happy with availability since we booked short notice on the same day.

I didn’t like the fact that there was no housekeeping services for the entire length of stay. Bedding or towels were not replaced unless requested at the front desk.

However, the commode was slow to flush in our room. I LOVE the fact animals were not allowed.

This was probably one of the cleanest and best maintained hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I’m a clean freak so having a clean hotel room is a must for me while traveling. I was impressed with how many amenities were included for the price. My room even had a fancy little Kurig coffee maker and cups with it. Spotless shower, room even smelled clean, super comfy bed, clean, soft sheets, great AC unit, very kind employees, delicious breakfast! Clean lobby space too. The only thing that bothers people is the noise of planes from the airport. It’s near an airport, what do people expect?? Nice and quiet in the building. I would definitely stay here again! So worth the money!

I got in after midnight and after unpacking, I discovered that the water was not functional in the room. The toilet would not fill, the shower has barely any water pressure, and the sink only had hot water. I informed the front desk and they offered to change rooms since the maintenance man had already left, however since I was already unpacked and tired from significantly delayed flights, I stayed in the room and filled the toilet tank manually using a trash can and shower water. In the morning I informed the front desk again and they showed no indication that this problem had been communicated to them by the person I had talked to earlier. The problem was eventually fixed.

Adequate hotel conveniently located off I-40 with Cracker Barrel and other restaurants nearby. Decent complimentary breakfast. Airport shuttle available.

Our quick stay was nice. Our only complaints are the mattresses and pillows. They both should be replaced. Beds were uncomfortable due to regular wear and tear. Please replace them!

Overall we had a great stay.

The property was a good location for us but the room had a musty smell, the air conditioning did not work properly, and the sink was partially stopped up. We stayed at the same place last year, but we will find somewhere else to stay the next time we come.

Check in was easy, room was standard with no visible issues/ concerns. Normal check out time is noon, which is nice. Able to sleep in and not be rushed leaving.

I will say that the AC was phenomenal. Love a cold room and it worked perfectly

We picked this hotel due to the close proximity to the airport and that it had a shuttle. It took awhile for the shuttle to get to us as there was a miscommunication on their part on if they already picked us up or not. Also, we had requested a crib ahead of time but when we got to the room, it wasn’t there and the front desk didn’t have keys to the room the crib was in so they couldn’t get it for us. We had to put our 2 year old in a bed and he fell out multiple times. That was the thing that was most disappointing for us.

I liked that they didn't clean our room during our 2 night stay. They provided a nice smoking area out back for relaxing and having a drink. Between the airplanes practically landing on the hotel and that they didn't have a pool, I think the rates should be lower.

This is a beautiful hotel with a very courteous staff with a perfect location if you're travelling from RDU. The shuttle service to/from the airport is excellent!

As someone whose flight was canceled and my luggage already on another plane it would have been good if an airport hotel like this one would have all the personal care products on sale that one needs when standing there with nothing but a wallet. No deodorant, no tooth brush, nothing but but a hand sanitizer. These things should be available once one gets stuck at an airport.

All front desk staff were really nice. The room was dated, the street lights are literally blinding in the room. Had to ask for clips to close the blinds a little better. Didn't help much. Also the AC was broken and wouldn't turn on or was disabled. Terrible night's sleep.

This is my 2nd stay at this property and I enjoyed it again. The staff accommodated my request for an early check-in. The front desk & housekeeping staff is super nice. It’s always a pleasant stay.

After finding out our flight had been canceled, Fairfield issued us a full refund at 9pm. Kudos to Fairfield.
