Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the cleanliness and modernity of the hotel. The location is also frequently praised for its proximity to downtown and various attractions. However, several guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the valet parking service, citing high fees and poor service. Additionally, some guests have reported issues with the bathrooms, such as dated fixtures, poor lighting, and lack of privacy due to louvered doors.

only issue is that the shower doenst get hot
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside is it is slightly dated, but the staff more than made up for that.
- 5/5
Had a great time. Hotel in walking distance or a short Uber ride to bars and attractions.
- 4/5
The staff was really good and I lived that the water was always provided. The choice for breakfast was great and prices were very reasonable. There was a big bug that was climbing up the wall in our room. The room was clean however and we were able to get the bug and dispose of it.
- 5/5
Such a vibe and it’s super clean. Front desk were extremely nice. Wow what a stay. Thank you Aloft
- 2.5/5
Nothing The picture frame fell off of the wall in the entry way of our room because it was secured firmly. Luckily we were not standing near it but it did scare the heck out of us. Further, it delayed our plans for dinner because we had to wait for maintenance to put it back up on the wall. Further, I was charged for 2 nights of valet parking on 2 different cards even though the receptionist told me that it wouldn't happen if I used a different card to check out for valet parking. I did not realize this until I received 2 different invoices via email from the hotel. Last, calling the front desk is a hassle because they are busy helping people standing there in line. Overall, I did not like the inconvenience and follow-up on my behalf. I don't want to pay to do all the work for Aloft.
- 3/5
They put us in a room with 2 queen beds even though we booked a king bed room. Our room’s carpet was dingy and very old. Our shower was also not clean and my wife found a roach in the bathroom the next morning. This room was no where near the standard we paid for and did not match the photos on the website.
- 4/5
The location was perfect for my needs. The sheets on my bed were not as fresh as I would have expected. They smelled like someone's cheap cologne. Then there was the saga of my lost car. The young man who parked it when I arrived left the key fob in the console and the young man on duty when I came back down three hours later and needed my car couldn't find key or car. The manager was called in and everyone was very nice, but I was late for my meeting. The car was finally found and all was well, just very frustrating. It was CMA weekend to boot and I am not a country music fan. NO fault of the hotel's, but the rates were higher because of all that nonsense.
- 5/5
Valet was super easy, beautiful hotel/ bar. Loved the bathroom for getting ready, perfect lighting for pre girls night out pictures !!
- 5/5
Really cool spot to stay in mid-town. Short walk to food and drinks. Decent walk to downtown.
- 5/5
Everything. That we did not have the option to park the vehicle ourselves. Daily $45 mandatory fee for valet was not planned ahead of time.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful It was alittle further from downtown than I thought
- 5/5
I like the amenities that were included and the location. The front desk staff were rude. You walk by and say Good Morning they just look at you and don’t speak.
- 5/5
Everything was exceptional. Will def choose this stay again
- 3/5
Did not have self parking. No USB ports in room. Not enough lights in room. Loved the spacious room. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 3/5
Its a pretty far walk to downtown Nashville and you have to pay per night for valet and parking. The valet is excellent though.
- 3/5
Hotel was a bit tired some stuff for good some nonchalant
- 4/5
Location Only two beds and a shower. No refrigerator or closets, very basic. A little expensive.

The hotel is located in midtown, which is a reasonable 1-ish mile walk or cheap Uber ride to all the action on Broadway. It's a great way to save $ in Nashville. Unfortunately, this hotel was overbooked and undergoing a bit of maintenance during my stay. I was directed to 2 different rooms that should have been taken off the books due to maintenance. So I did not get my upgraded room (with a view). The room (#907) was nice and comfortable, but the mattress was not. It needed to be replaced as there were two pronounced divits or dents in the mattress. Sound traveled through the door to the room, and being somewhat close to the elevator, it was a problem when guests arrived on the floor drunk in the wee hours of the night or departed early in the morning with a barking dog. If I did not drink tasty beverages on Broadway, sleep would have been a huge issue with the disturbances from other guests and the lumpy mattress. Another negative was the valet only garage onsite which cost nearly $50/night with tax. Do yourself a favor and find parking with spothero. The parking garage across the street was much cheaper with spothero, though there was no in/out privileges. The parking garage at the sky building about a block away was also very affordable with in/out privileges. Overall, it was a decent hotel for those on a "budget" and the staff was friendly.

I waited over 40 minutes to get my vehicle each day and on the last day they even brought me the wrong vehicle with your mandatory valet. You system is broken! Total pain in the ass trying to get to job meetings. Would never stay there again!
- 3/5
I had booked a king room and ended up getting a room with two double beds. The room wasn’t as clean as it should have been, and the WiFi barely worked on the tv as well as on my phone.
- 5/5
Bed was super comfortable and we had a very large room! The valet service was a little pricey.

- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
The bathroom didn't look very clean. The entire hotel had a strong air freshener type smell. Elevator inspection certificate had expired by several weeks. The staff was friendly, but the property didn't match the Hotels.com rating.
- 3/5
Courtney checked us in and gave us some great recommendations, super friendly and star of the show. It is loud, doors could do with something as they have large gaps all around letting in light and sound. Location of hotel is on a busy road, so expect car noise throughout the night. Rooms are fine, little dated and wear and tear. But are fine for the price. AC was so loud, had to turn it off, so either bring earplugs or sleep in heat. Parking is expensive, look at a local lot for cheaper options
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was friendly.
- 5/5
The hotel was conveniently located with clean rooms and friendly staff. It was everything I needed for my short stay.
- 4/5
Good communication with the Front Desk very clean very kind people that employees of Alof west end
- 5/5
Valet was a bit of a different experience. We had an x large truck, so our valet consisted of it being parked on the side of the street by the hotel. My partner had to venture into the garage one night to find the valet person because no one was at the podium. To say two from the three valet attendants were superb, is the best statement. Overall, a great place to pick if you want to keep close to the fun in the city!
- 5/5
Breakfast isn’t included. Staff is lovely. Room is so fresh and beautifully clean. The bar is super nice. It’s soo close to broadway and perfect safe location city wise! 2nd time staying here and 10/10 recommend
- 4/5
Hotel was fairly priced and close enough to downtown Nashville proper, with several good options for eating and drinking within walking distance. Only negative was no indication that there was not daily housekeeping, and our room was not made up any of the 3 days we were there, even when I requested.
- 3/5
It was fine.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Only stayed for one night. It was clean and nice.

Huge spacious room, clean, friendly staff, great location, was extended complimentary late checkout. Greta stay, would definitely return.

Bed and pillows very comfortable. Room clean, water took awhile to get hot. Staff friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel to stay at! The staff was so friendly and attentive. The rooms were big and very clean the bathroom was so big probably the biggest bathroom at any hotel I have stayed at. Will definitely be going back
- 4/5
It was okay, just an older building. A little dark

First was the valet, who provided great service as we arrived at 6am after driving 10 hours from VA. We were allowed to check early, which we were grateful for, as we were exhausted. We absolutely love Aloft, this location didn't disappoint at all.
- 5/5
The hotel was conveniently located and had several restaurants close by. The building was clean and modern. The room was very spacious. I did wish that the bar offered more food options. I also thought the mattresses were not that comfortable although I admit that I know mattress comfort is a personal opinion and preference. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.
- 4/5
We love staying here and will continue to return. Needs to work on WiFi though.
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean and within walking distance to restaurants. The bar was great!
- 5/5
Was visiting Nashville and this resort was in a great location. Great room. Had my room ready when I got there. Will go back
- 4/5
Love staying here, good area. Bathroom shower didn’t work but still great hotel
- 4/5
Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. The room’s condition is average, and both elevators are shaking.
- 5/5
Staff are very professional.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and in a great spot on Broadway near downtown. I'll definitely booked it again.
- 1/5
I was very disappointed with the condition of this property. My room was on the second level and several things were clearly not maintained. The window shades did not close properly and the bathroom door would not shut. The room itself felt incomplete, almost as if furniture was missing. It was a very large space with only a bed and no seating area, which made it feel empty and poorly planned. I usually like this brand and believe the hotel has potential, but in its current condition it does not reflect the standards I would expect.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly environment
- 3/5
Room needed better cleaning, staff was very friendly but noticeably understaffed. I had to ask for cleaning service 3 times before they came. However in general the hotel was decent and conveniently located to broadway. Just need more staff.
- 5/5
The room and the staff were completely perfect. Also the activities in the lobby were enjoyable and the rooftop was the perfect spot
- 1/5
The walls are paper thin, could hear the people next door. People kept slamming doors in the hallway. The room was not cleaned properly. The toilet kept making q loud noise every few minutes, the water in the shower was lukewarm!
- 5/5
Great staff. Great stay.
- 2/5
Room was dirty and had a moldy smell
- 5/5
Staff
- 3/5
The staff member at the front desk was very friendly and check in was easy. The room was ok, it was very long and pretty dark, the lighting situation could be improved, the bathroom door was odd, it was a slatted closet door so no privacy whatsoever. There was also no working fan in the bathroom so the room got really damp. The window also was soaking wet and there was puddles of water from condensation. The room was relatively clean though and the bed was comfortable. I wouldn’t stay here again, but it’s an affordable room, close to downtown.
- 2/5
WiFi was slower than my actual data and I paid $10 for a 12 ounce miller lite at the hotel bar which would be a $60 6 pack for again, a miller lite. I’m not sure that this establishment wants people to spend money here or hang out in their “social” lobby. Im on the road for work A TON, it’s nice when a hotel understands this and their establishment provides a great experience. I’ve ran my course with Aloft and will use other establishments moving forward.
- 3/5
Front desk and valet were great . Bartender was not very pleasant and drinks were okay. Elevator was extremely slow and only one worked . Food and beverages were extremely overpriced.
- 5/5
Staff very courteous. Lovely open outside seating area on rooftop! Valet had to jump our car due to battery being dead. He had a jump pack so did not take much time. Went for New Year celebration with friends and just a great place to stay. Close to so much!
- 5/5
Close to everything. Clean spacious room.
- 5/5
Room was clean and front desk clerk was kind.
- 5/5
Location was great, a lot of bars and restaurants walking distance. Clean property! Thank you for early check in availability.
- 4/5
Upgraded me to a 2 bdrm suit. Very clean. Staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Very cool , had all the things
- 3/5
Could hear everything outside and a few rooms down but otherwise room was spacious and clean
- 3/5
Aloft hotel staff and valets were very friendly, however the hotel itself is showing its age. Everything was clean, but several things were worn like the shower tile floor, the wall trim, the ironing board, etc. The worst thing though was the lack of privacy from the bathroom door. It was not a solid door, instead it was a louvre door. Also, there is not a self parking option, valet only which is not 24hrs. For these reasons I would recommend looking elsewhere for a similar price.
- 5/5
The room was clean, everyone was extremely friendly. The teens played pool until one am. A great family friendly hotel. I did not know about having to pay for parking, but everything else was phenomenal!
- 5/5
Assuming the amount we were overcharged is fully reimbursed, I could not be happier with our stay. Great location, helpful staff, comfortable and aesthetic room/common area, and the best hotel shower ever. Will definitely choose Aloft Hotels more in the future.
- 3/5
Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience at this hotel. The location was great, but an unsafe place to stay. We had our door open twice on us. We spoke to the front desk about it and got a new room. Some random man was walking the floors, then he finally left around 1 am in the morning while we were placing games downstairs. Valet parking people are very nice. Someone had laid pillows in stairways making it inaccessible to walk down.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, staff friendly and had a fun vibe.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 5/5
The staff members from the manager to the valet parking staff were all very nice and pleasant. They showed us respect and courtesy. I loved to hear their greetings with smiles. Our room was clean and nice and more than 3 times as big as our usual hotels! The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom is HUGE. We really enjoyed our stay in a vacation mode .
- 2/5
not clean and breakfast was terrible. location convenient
- 3/5
The room was clean and well-kept but you could just tell it's an older building.
- 4/5
Wasn’t crazy about the parking. I would rather park my own car. I don’t like waiting for the valet to get the car. Valets were great but could without it. Plus the hotel wasn’t that busy
- 5/5
Great stay
- 1/5
I paid for parking in my buddle however was charged over $200 for parking. When our car was brought to us it was covered in leaves and bird poop.
- 5/5
Very clean room, atmosphere was charming, and staff a great help.
- 1/5
Room was dirty. Trash was not empty when we arrive. The hotel has a bad smell. To top that off the shower handle was broke when we tried to cut the shower on. House keeping sucks at this location.
- 4/5
Parking was not included
- 5/5
great stay!
- 3/5
Staff was nice, def an older building. Probably would stay somewhere else next time we are in Nashville.
- 5/5
Only stayed one night but had a great experience! Loved the location and had a great valet guy who gave some excellent recommendations for the city!
- 5/5
Room very clean
- 5/5
Staff was absolutely AMAZING. from the valet to the front desk staff to the housekeeping
- 5/5
Convenient to Brigstone Arena
- 5/5
Hotel was nice and has a lot to do within the lobby between live music, to games. Staff was friendly and funny to talk to! Love this place would come back!
- 5/5
Convenient and nicely priced. Nice amenities
- 5/5
Looked great but did not use them
- 5/5
Amazing front desk staff, they were all so friendly! The rooms was very spacious and well appointed. The cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating, they recognized we would need extra toiletries. Definitely would recommend this hotel for all of this plus location close to downtown, Vanderbilt and the gulch.
- 5/5
This hotel was beautiful. Amazing customer service. Great bar in the hotel also in case you just need to chill. I will stay at ALOFT in any city im at.
- 5/5
We loved it. It was save and walkable and every single staff member was exceptional.
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay
- 4/5
I didn't like the guy at the bar that was working that saturday night
- 5/5
Had a great time at this hotel. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
- 4/5
The customer service amazing.
- 5/5
Reception and Valet are very helpful, nice and services are efficient
- 2/5
Our room didn’t look or feel clean.
- 2/5
This hotel isn't great. No trash can in the room, seems dirty, beat up pool table downstairs, the elevator sounded rough going up and down. It has seen better days
- 4/5
Very nice stay, not over priced. Great for groups, very close to popular tourist destinations. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will say if you’re sensitive to noise just bring some ear plugs and you should be fine. But you could definitely hear people talking in the hallways, and the cars on the highway. I would stay again.
- 5/5
Walking distance to local attractions

- 5/5
The staff is friendly and beyond amazing. Shantay especially.
- 5/5
We loved the view and layout of our room. We also really enjoyed how friendly our staff was. Everything was absolutely amazing
- 5/5
Good price point could really use food service. However there are several eating establishments near by my only issue is my knees have both been replaced plus my spine has also been fractured thus walking isn't a great option for me.
- 2/5
Do not be fooled that this hotel is under the Marriot umbrella. The room was huge, dated, smelled and felt wet. The outlets are old and mostly didn’t work.
- 5/5
I’ve already shared my experience on Expedia. Great stay
- 2/5
Lobby staff were great, but the valet was very slow. I cannot recommend staying here. We will never stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful and room was so nice and comfortable! Will definitely stay again!
- 1/5
The room smelled like weed. The water in the shower took 10 min to get hot. One of the two car valets has a terrible attitude and was rude. This is a very poorly managed hotel.
- 4/5
Beds were decent. Drinks at the bar were a little overpriced
- 2/5
We love aloft, from Oklahoma to Tennessee we will always pick aloft. But from mant
- 5/5
Great location, nice room.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly. The rooms clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was exceptional. Was walkable to Broadway. We would definitely staff there again.
- 5/5
Very helpful and polite staff. Extremely clean and the room was very comfortable. A/C worked great…
- 5/5
They took great care of us.
- 5/5
Ok
- 4/5
The women who manage this property were most personable, pleasant, and accommodating from the moment I entered. Property certainly needs some upgrades but my room was comfortable. WiFi and mobile reception left me in a dead zone outside of lobby. Very accessible location with quick rides under $10 to Broadway. Great stay.
- 5/5
I like everything. Thanks
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and friendly!
- 5/5
Cute and out of the way, yet close enough to grab an Uber, a Hop on Hop off bus, or a motorized scooter.
- 5/5
Awesome spot! Great rooms. Wonderful staff!
- 5/5
We got in from Ohio around 1. Went to check in and the front desk didnt hesitate, got us a room right away. She was such a friendly lady! Rooms are huge and clean. Only downfall is the room didnt have much light it was pretty dark.
- 5/5
I absolutely recommend this hotel! The room was so clean and nice! View amazing too. They also allowed me to check in early and since my room wasn’t quite ready, they gave me an upper luxury room with no additional charge. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Nice clean room, only issue was the hot water wasn’t working
- 5/5
The water pressure was great in our shower…seems like such a small ideal, but it’s not!! While we called an uber to and from Broadway, the cost was so much better than paying an outrageous amount for parking at other hotels closer to Broadway!! I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Nashville.
- 5/5
Location, design, staff
- 5/5
I love thus place
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
The whole Aloft crew were super friendly ! I would definitely stay at this location again.
- 5/5
It was amazing...the most coolest spot to be on a vacation or just to have a getaway..hands down i loved it...
- 5/5
All the staff were so nice!! So fun watching the fireworks off the roof area! Spacious and clean room. Thank you!!
- 5/5
Nice. Clean. Friendly staff
- 5/5
Always a great stay at this Aloft.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room.
- 5/5
Overall very good and comfortable and safe stay. Highly recommend it.
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and friendly! Fantastic location.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean
- 5/5
Not a fan of the louver doors on the bathroom, wasn't the most sound proof. We would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Overall my stay was good. Property is dates and needs some attention but reasonably priced for what you get.
- 5/5
Huge room, comfy pillows and friendly staff.
- 3/5
Only valet parking available—and expensive. The perceived value (cost) was negated by the high parking cost. Also, I required my vehicle early, upon check out to go to airport for flight. Valet was not open and this was not explained in advance to me. I don’t plan on using this property again and would not advise for others.
- 5/5
The receptionists were amazing, great location. The valet guys were always polite and friendly.
- 5/5
The staff would radiating pure positivity and the place itself was wonderful. Nice rooms. The most perfect water pressure I've had the pleasure of standing under. Location is great. Stay here... You will not regret it.
- 5/5
The stay was amazing! Everyone was so nice and the rooms were clean. This is my first time at an Aloft. I will be coming back ☺️
- 4/5
The property is great and fantastic location. Parking suggested by front desk was ridiculous. Street parking was way cheaper.
- 3/5
Weird smell inside and overall quality was not as expected
- 5/5
Great location, staff was friendly Nadia was very helpful!
- 4/5
Super cute lobby, friendly staff, clean, quiet, thendy . Yummy breakfast
- 1/5
Staff didn’t help. Did not change sheets or towels. Broken things in room that were promised multiple times to be fixed. Were not fixed. Did not change room for these, even though they told us they would
- 2/5
No parking lot or parking garage you can park yourself. Valet only (44 per night), minimum street parking. Our room's AC was messed up. Never got fixed. Stayed 75 degrees all night with AC going non stop.
- 5/5
Nice property. Super friendly and professional staff, including valet service (Hayden!). Easy walk to Broadway and other food options!
- 4/5
Clean and convenient location to down town
- 5/5
Staff made all the world of differences. We were able to overlook the dirty elevator cab and thresholds, the musty smell in the hotel room because the staff were so professional and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. It really meant something to us that staff were attentive,
- 1/5
When I arrived at hotel, they told me I'd need to pay extra for parking. I hand them my card and they charged me hundreds of dollars to my card. Tying my card up to where I couldn't even use it for anything else. We couldn't even get a drink at Bridgestone Arena because they only take cards. My husband went out of his way to make this a special trip for Mother's Day and they ruined. Still don't have my money back.
- 5/5
Friendly staff , comfortable and clean accommodations. Loved the popcorn machine!
- 4/5
Not far from the busy Broadway area, walkable. Comfortable bed, spacious room, activities in the lobby.
- 4/5
Just need to fix some broken things in property and also make the hallways & elevators smell better
- 4/5
The electric blinds were broken so our room was dark
- 4/5
It’s a bit of a walk to broadway.. but still a very homelike lobby with pool and games!
- 5/5
We had tickets to go see Wanda Sykes at the Ryman so it was 1.5 miles. We took a taxi each way. It was perfect and the hotel staff were all fabulous and the Barr area. Good food! Great drinks. And our room was fabulous. Nothing we can say that we feel was missed
- 5/5
Had A Very Nice Stay.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Close to the good times
- 4/5
Checking out was a little disappointing the receptionist was not very nice or helpful.
- 5/5
Loved our stay!
- 5/5
We really enjoyed the atmosphere of Aloft. We were always greeted with positive employee interactions. The fitness center was great, we tried the breakfast and it tasted amazing. We will definitely be staying there again.
- 5/5
We were only there one night but we really liked the property. Staff was very nice!
- 3/5
The check-in was quick and easy, however upon getting to our room it was evident that the building was used for something other than a hotel previously. The rooms was huge but sparsely furnished. Also, it took almost 10 full minutes of running the shower before hot water kicked on.
- 5/5
I wasnt able to stay at the Aloft. I missed my plane
- 5/5
We loved our stay at this cool gem. Thank you!
- 3/5
It was average
- 3/5
Air conditioning was not working in the room. Could not get the room below 73°. Called maintenance at midnight and they reset it. It did not fix the issue.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Great big room.
- 5/5
I received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was great. The staff member that assisted me at checkin was really nice. The lobby area had lots of seating, and was very comfortable. The bar had excellent cocktails and a few food options. We were with a large group, and the staff was very helpful. The room itself was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
It was wonderful hotel and surrounding area. The only draw back is the excessive car parking fee of $44 daily. Since they charge that to probably cover the valet wages...don't bother tipping! Parking in Nashville is a rip off!
- 1/5
This was a HORRENDOUS hotel and stay. We were there with our hockey team and encountered endless issues, inadequacies and quite literally unacceptable accommodations. Dirty room, pubic hair in our bathroom, 1/2 used bottles of lotion, and outlets that didn't work. HEAVY use of marijuana on the floor and smells of mold/must in our space. I was charged for valet that wasn't used and we had major issues with our cars not being ready to leave for our games. HORRIBLE expecting some money back!
- 4/5
It was cool place. Quality of a chain hotel with the feel of a boutique place. Area restaurants were amazing. Great price.
- 5/5
Valet and cleanliness
- 2/5
It’s was a great hotel, we just didn’t have AC in our room so it was hot. And didn’t get any accommodations
- 5/5
Great rooms
- 5/5
Pretty nice place close to Broadway without being to close. Close to busline so able to use city bus for local transportation. Super kind and friendly staff. Only negative for me would be surcharge for breakfast.
