Best Western Plus Executive Residency Nashville

The hotel itself was somewhat nice (unfortunately no pool was set up even though it was june and there was just a horrible stench in all of the hallways and common spaces) , but the surrounding area was very concerning. There were a lot of homeless people and drug users in the immediate area surrounding the hotel and even on the hotel property. the day we checked in there was someone out on one of the hotel benches that was clearly strung out on drugs.

Area was a little sketchy but everything else was great.

When I arrived at the hotel there were people blocking the entrance. They were littering around the parking area blocking the front door. I tried to call the desk to let them know because it didn’t appear to be safe to get out of my car. The phone went to a recording each time I tried. I ultimately had to leave and go to another hotel. When I did reach someone the next day they were not helpful and would not refund my $.

Room was. Ice and big, wheelchair accessible. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good, wish they had biscuits and gravy though to go along with the eggs and sausage.

After checking in, I discovered live bugs underneath the mattress and visible stains throughout the room. Finding insects in a bed is unacceptable under any circumstances and immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. What was most frustrating was that the reservation was non-refundable through Hotels.com, leaving me feeling trapped in a situation where I had paid for a room that I did not feel comfortable occupying. While I was eventually offered One Key credits, that is not the same as receiving a refund to the original payment method. Based on the condition of the room, I find it hard to believe these issues are new. In my opinion, both the hotel and Hotels.com should take a closer look at whether this property is meeting basic cleanliness and hospitality standards before continuing to market it to travelers. No guest should have to inspect a mattress for bugs before feeling comfortable enough to sleep. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience, and I believe Hotels.com should reconsider listing properties that fail to provide clean, sanitary accommodations. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses the cleanliness and pest-control issues so future guests do not have the same experience.

Room was good. Beware pool was not available for use. Also hotel backs freeway so road noise is constant.

I booked in and was given 2 rooms for my family, both rooms smelt of mould and cigarettes told manager who got very aggressive and extremely rude so my family didn't feel safe there so we left was supposed to stay gor 4 days but didn't spend 1 night and was refused any refund so was basically robbed of around $1300,awful hotel and worse management. Staff were okay - not rude, but not friendly either. The breakfast was standard for this type of hotel, but unfortunately every single day was the same exact thing. Sausage, eggs, waffles, plus cold items available. The coffee machines were fine on Day 1. On Day 2, the one in the banquet room was empty and dispensed hot water instead of coffee. The one in the lobby dispensed barely any liquid and had to be pressed twice (as if making 2 cups). The elevator sometimes did not respond for a couple of minutes after buttons were pushed. Their elevator permit is not accessible to the public and has to be requested from the "manager's office." The hotel next door and the surrounding area seem unsafe. Multiple people loitering at almost all hours of the day, including in and near this hotel's parking lot, peoole walking into the street despite busy traffic trying to pass through. It isn't worth the stay here.

Pool closed. Kids were very disappointed. That was one of the factors we look at when booking for summer vacation. Breakfast was good. Didn't have a lot of interaction with staff other than check in. Happy with stay and would stay here again.

The staff were very helpful. The hotel is going through construction phase for a remodel. The pool was not working. But the room was very comfortable and immaculate.

Close to downtown and decent parking. Check in/out process was quick and easy. We were assigned a room and ten minutes after getting settled for the night, a couple walked right on in. They were also assigned to that room accidentally. We called the main desk to see what to do and staff simply apologized then hung up. We ended up packing our things and walking downstairs to get more information, but were told to go back to the room as the issue had been settled. We later saw that other couple and they told us they were never assigned another room.

Room was clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. Complementary breakfast was okay. Coffee (machine) was good. The location of the hotel was a less than desirable part of Nashville, so we did not feel safe going out at night.

Maintenance left some kind of machine spraying deodorizer or sanitizer in our room and left a powder film on sheets, was not healthy to breathe. Room was not vauumed and had food left on floor. However, they did move us to another room. Pool was not open even tho I called prior to make sure it’s open.

Hollywood our shuttle driver was nice. The TV didn't work there were dead bugs in the bathroom and some big stains on the carpet. The pool was closed all in all first Best Western I can say I will never go back to.

Dirtiest best western hotel I’ve stayed in. Makeup stains all over the bed, holes in the covers, changed the hotel room once because the first one was so bad. Hair all in the shower and on the beds, with stuff everywhere in the floor. Will not be staying there again.

Unsafe location!!!! Bad part of town. Hotel has a fence around the hotel but homeless and street walkers begging as soon as we parked the car. Gas station across the street was packed with people hanging out all around. I absolutely did not stay there with my 2 children. Tried to cancel my reservation and unfortunately had to pay $180 to cancel my reservations. But for the safety of myself, my car and my children we moved to a hotel in a safer area. I would not book at the hotel!!!!!

First room smelled of fresh cigarette smoke, with hair in the bed and stained carpets. Second room had roaches. 3rd room was better than the first two but people stood right out front of the window and you could hear their entire convo. Property refused to give me a refund so I had no choice but to stay. You could not pay me to stay there again!

I’m a solo female traveler. I’ve stayed at this hotel twice, the first after an initial hotel I booked had misleading photos and did not look the same in person. Staff is very friendly. Easy check-in/out. Breakfast is standard, hotel breakfast — tastes fine. Room has been clean and I’ve felt very safe. The outside is a little unappealing? I’m not sure what word to use, but it’s nicer inside. I also really like that this is a hotel with rooms with not outside door. I’ve noticed a lot of places listed as hotels but then they have motel style rooms. It’s about 10 mins from downtown and in a quiet area with a few fast food places and a gas station right by. It’s also right off the interstate. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe here both times. As long as the price doesn’t change too much, I will definitely continue to use this as my stay when I’m in town.

It was so dirty and stinky that we left early just get out of the place. Felt like we had to shower the feeling of dirtiness off of ourselves after we left. We even skipped breakfast because of it. Staff was pleasant though.

The cleaning staff was great. We had to add a day to our stay we were quoted one price got there it was an extra 100. Pet fee 30 a night. We didn’t realize hotel was in a bad part of town. We were there for our daughter graduation. Drug addicts walking around all night and so noisy. We left a day early. The room was nice and clean.

Not a great neighborhood. We were awake most of the night with sirens and slamming doors. After being approached in the parking lot and hearing a fight in the distance, all after not being asked for and ID, we wont return.

If You Can Avoid This Property I Would Highly Recommend We Saw Roaches In Hallway And A Couple In Room The Curtains Had A Whole Carpet Was Stained In Both Rooms The Couches And Chair At The Desk The Leather Was Peeling The Walls Were Stained And Different Colors And This Place Was Terrible I Did Get A Room Change Which I Didnt See Any Roaches But The Appearance Of The Room Was Still Terrible With Dirty Carpet Just A Terrible Experience

Once we checked in, they checked us into a room that was already occupied. I went back down to the desk and while I was waiting, a rat ran across my foot back towards the breakfast area.

Bathroom was worn. Furniture was mediocre. The worst part was the “seedy” area. Another guest told us we are staying in “the hood!” We got up and checked our car in the lot all night as we were afraid of someone breaking in. Looked a tiny bit better in the daylight than our night arrival. Hallways were quite loud. Noise easily permeated our room as people were up and about from 2-4 am.

Staff was the friendliest I’ve met while traveling, so nice! Hotel is pretty decent overall, and excellent for the price. Perfect location whether you’re visiting Nashville or just passing through. Basic breakfast included as well. I feel the area is going through a transformation, so I feel the surroundings will be improving, we did not feel unsafe at any time.

When my sister and I booked this hotel, we had no idea a large gathering/ "party" of a motorcycle group would be taking over the hotel, the lobby and entire parking lot. The whole weekend, we had difficulty finding any parking and barely any quiet time due to loud music blaring late into the night. On check in, we were not told any information about breakfast due to the large crowd in the lobby and the attention of the staff. In the room we found a trifold stating weekend breakfast hours. These hours were incorrect, causing us to miss breakfast. When asked to get a refund due to having to park in the McDonalds parking lot, the front desk stated, "the party is almost over, and a policy was signed (when we checked in)." This was also incorrect. We had to call the front desk because we could not get into the parking lot. After having to fight for a parking spot, we will not be staying at this hotel again.

The hot Breakfast was a disappointing venture the two days we were there. Most everything was gone when we went down to eat at 8:30. Room vibrated from the generator, pumps or elevator near us. A/C was fine, bed ok, towels ok. Only got a like warm shower the second evening - no hot water. Location in the neighborhood seems kinda sketchy.

Hallways smelled like cannabis. Room was musty, looked to only have the beds made, brown mystery stain on carpet, bathroom appeared to not be mopped. Breakfast options were satisfactory. I would recommend spending an extra $100-$150 / night for a higher quality place to stay.

We couldn’t understand the counter person. Homeless people all over the property even inside the lobby. I was scared the whole time. Room needed a good deep cleaning and smelled like mildew or mold. Very unsafe hotel especially if you have children

There was no desk chair in my room and I requested a chair several times and never received it. They had trash in the corner of the hallway by the elevator that was sitting there a long period of time. I requested an extra blanket and was told that they did not have any because laundry was closed. They never checked back with me to let me know that they had one available. I also notice the staff caters to certain groups of people because I seen at two different times Caucasian people receiving extra blankets. I tried doing laundry none of the washer work I tried using one of the washer that was working and it did not rinse my clothes correctly and I had to go to the nearest laundromat, so I wasted $2.00. It also smelled like kitty litter & fish by they laundry and fitness center.

The hotel itself stinks it smelled like someone had a lot of dogs there or a dead body in some areas and the towels that were already in the room were dirty like dust was on them from being on the shelf for a period of time. Other than that the room was very clean and spacious the area was a bit ghetto with prostitution and drugs going on constantly if you can handle that then I recommend staying here before staying at any of the motels that surround the hotel

The bed was uncomfortable. They have removed the espresso machine. The interstate was extremely noisy all night. Will not stay again.

Vent in our restroom didn’t work unless we didn’t have one which is weird for people taking a bowel movement.

Room was clean but this is an older hotel so only updates would bring this up to other Best Westerns I’ve stayed at. Didn’t really have many choices for breakfast and it ends too early (9:30).

We were unable to stay as our vehicle broke down. We called the hotel tocancel our stay and ask for a refund. The managers on duty was very rude to us on the phone. We aslo didn’t receive any refund.

This hotel WANTS to be a nice hotel. Staff is amazing. But the rooms were not clean, especially the bathroom. The halls smell like cigarettes. The area feels very unsafe. Even walking in the hallway feels incredibly uncomfortable.

The property is kept up well, and the staff were very friendly. The surrounding area isn’t the best, but it’s not a $300 downtown place either. The room needs dark drapes that cover the whole window. Overall, it was worth the money.

The room was not up to par. There was rust & burn stains on the tables in the room as well as stains on the bedding. The bathtub/shower needed to be remodled. Staff was not that friendly either. They had a person in the lobby that that was soliciting people to be shuttled to places to & from the hotel. This person called it a shuttle but it in fact was a mini van with a handicap place card that the guy was stuffing too many people into. The driver was rude & had no idea what he was doing & was taking on more than he could handle. The location is not that great either, I definitely would not stay here again!

This place was pretty average. The room was decently clean but the bathroom fan didn’t work and the towels smelt weird. The surrounding area seems a little sketchy as there are some motels and gas stations nearby that bring questionable characters. We were a little nervous about our car getting broken into.

First room given was occupied so had to switch. First actual room entered smelled like an ashtray, got switched…second room smelled really weird and also was not the room type I reserved and had to switch again (needed 2 beds), third room was okay (smelled slightly musty but nothing compared to everywhere else. Had weird stains on wall that husband said was blood but I think it was probably old food or something). Halls smelled sour and grossed me out. Sofa bed did not have any sheets or blankets on it or available in room…had been downstairs 5 times at this point for room and key card issues so I said screw it and used flat sheet and comforter in bed to put on sofa bed since I brought my own blankets anyway. Breakfast was decent, just not much selection…I wasn’t there for breakfast anyway…just there because of winter storm displacing us. Staff was nice despite seeing me entirely too many times….I am convinced the front desk guy never sleeps and works 24 hours a day. He seems stressed.

“Rocky” the front desk attendant had a hard time finding my reservation, demanded to see my phone and kept trying to take my phone from me. When I asked what information he needed, he said there’s too much information I need to see your phone. When I said you can tell me what you need to see, you don’t need to take my phone, Rocky called me “Racist and inhuman because if he was any other race there wouldn’t be a problem. And I assure you my phone costs three times as much as your phone “. When I said “ it has nothing to do with race, if I wouldn’t share a drink with you, you’re not touching my phone just tell me what info you need”. Rocky continued to call me racist and threatened to cancel my reservation at 9pm at night. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a hotel.

This was very difficult for me being elderly and having a disabilty that required the use of a cane. I ran into several other patrons eith canes and two couples that had spouses in wheelchairs that said this was a big problem for them as well.

the room had a lighter and broken phone on the floor leftover from the last person. it is in an extremely dangerous area and there were many signs outside saying “park at your own risk” (essentially) due to the nature of the area around the hotel. what do you expect me to do? sleep in my car after paying for a hotel room? i waited to buy a bottle of water for 20 minutes because the staff wasn’t sitting at the desk at night. AC didn’t work well, hallways smelled bad, all furniture had stains. if i knew where i was staying i wouldn’t have booked it. i did not eat the breakfast so i am unable to give an opinion on that.

Sexual activity being performed in the parking lot. People sleeping by the pool. Screaming and fighting during the night. I could go on and on. We spoke with management multiple times and was told if we didn’t report it as soon as it happened they couldn’t do anything. They have a security guard that parks in the parking lot but is never in the vehicle and is never anywhere around the building. Yes we looked for him. Please for your safety skip this place. Absolutely awful . We left early because we felt unsafe but was told we couldn’t get a refund. NEVER STAY HERE EVER EVER EVER.

The first night we got there, We witnessed homeless all over the pool area and one lady was overdosing on the chairs. The area was extremely ghetto and there was always people being loud and obnoxious. There was only two shower towels in both rooms we stayed at because the first room we got the bathroom was dirt the maids didnt care to help or even clean the room once throw out our 3 day stay.

The only positive things I have to say is the bed was shockingly comfortable and the location is great. But even for the reasonable price point, you can do much better.

Unable to check in an hour after supposedly able to (arrived at 4 and check in at 3). Room not ready. Room was very dirty. Sheets had stains and dirt. Walls scuffed and dirty. Mirror was dirty, horrible lighting in bathroom (only had a shower light and below the mirror). Drain in bath tub did not drain properly. Room felt damp and smelled like dirty AC unit. Hotel was marked as a 3 star and this was 2 at BEST. Not a great area. Other guests were loud and also allowed to gather by the entry ways with Bluetooth speakers and hangout late at night. Will never stay again. Very disappointed at how much money we spent with what we received.

The property itself was dirty and in disrepair. Vomit outside the elevator that sat all day, needle caps in the parking lot, a woman passed out by the pool, another woman who slept by the pool two nights in a row, and an additional individual who slept outside in the corner of the parking lot for the entire 7 days we stayed. We won’t be returning.

I was super disappointed in the cleanliness of the property. The room in itself was dusty. There was mold in the coffee machines. And there was even mold on the showerhead. We complained a few times to the front desk and finally received a new coffee machine that we had to go and pick up at the front desk ourselves. They did not do anything about the shower head that had mold all over it. Luckily, I always carry Clorox wipes with me and I wiped everything down. The breakfast was average. The location was great close to the interstate.

The roaches was horrible I mean we was informed about this at all I mean they where crawling up people doors like just how cold you not have this under control.

Good clean place to stay

The brekafast was always on time effocient and hot. It would.be nice to see menu change on days byt it was worth the stay. Thank you to the great team at Best Western we felt taken care of well and felt at home. Thank you so much

First room had roaches and bugs they gave a second that was dirty and had not been cleaned from the day before I asked for a refund they declined to give me a refund. We did not stay there. We went to a different hotel.

Property is right next to a freeway so the traffic was loud all night. The hotel looks old but they are trying to freshen it up a bit, beds and pillows were lumpy. Staff was not friendly but they got the job done. It’s a perfect place for a younger crowd that’s going to spend the night on Broadway and come crawling back at 3am.

Nice Hotel

Outdated. The elevator was down more than it was working I think. We were on the 5th floor & I have a health condition which makes stairs extremely difficult so on check out day we were stuck on the 5th floor while the elevator was down.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever attempted to stay at with my family. If you’re not a local, DO NOT stay here. DO NOT book this hotel. They are rude and will scam and hassle you as you attempt to cancel the reservation. You’ve been warned, rooms were dirty, stained sheets, hair in pillows, pile of dust on the couch pullout “bed.” So, if for any reason you have to & want to attempt, DO NOT BOOK it unless you have some type of insurance. Because the managers will just laugh in your face & tell you there is nothing they can do, oh. And when they try to give you another room, it was even worse. There was a literal hole on the door. My family took a list and we lost over $80” on this filthy hotel. Worst experience ever.

The elevator was horrible. Took 10 minutes to get it the first time and then we tried to constantly and it was still the same way. We took the stairs every day and we were on the fourth floor. The breakfast potatoes were cooked the eggs were gross very small area for as many as people that was there.. there was mold in our shower in our vent. The smell and odor of the hotel was not pleasant. People were smoking in the hotel. carpets were stained. Will not stay there again very unpleasant day.

Overall we had a great experience at Best Western Plus! The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and there is a parking lot with free parking. A short 3.5 miles or so to all the most popular Broadway experiences. This hotel is a great deal compared to others. The only real downfall is the surrounding area. There are a lot of homeless, and people in active addiction on the surrounding streets. I would like to say that none were in the hotel parking lot though.

The location needs many improvements. My daughter fell in the shower. We realized there were no grippers in the tub nor rails to hold onto. We sanitized the room with lysol and found bed bugs. We left the hotel immediately and checked in somewhere else.

I wish I could give a better review but there were several people loitering in the parking lot, a pile of crushed Goldfish crackers in the only working elevator that were not cleaned up 12 hours later, debris in the hallways. Obviously the hotel can’t control the environment surrounding the property but I didn’t anticipate the amount noise and random non-guests in the parking lot.

It was quiet the rooms where fairly clean beds where comfy breakfast was ok could have more variety through out the week . The bad only had one elevator working to service 6 floors long wait times also the pool area had garbage around it and some of tje lounge chairs where broken housekeeping never cleaned room only gave frsh towels expecting better from a best western.

The staff and facility were very nice. The parking lot was clean and fairly well lit, but had a bit of a sketchy feel.

Being on the top floor was a little difficult to manoeuvre since only 1 out of the 2 elevators worked and the one that did was extremely slow and creaky so that you wondered if it too was going to break down. Needless to say, when we found out that our keys opened a side door, we used it and walked up all the flights of stairs instead.

This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. Lobby smelled musty but it was late and my family was tired. During check-in a guest came down to say he needed a new room because it was dirty/used. Red flag! We check in and get to our rooms (had 2 rms). Moldy bedframe with roach on it. Wardrobe cabinet had a tiny roach crawling on it. One room was so thick with mold smell it was nauseating. We packed up and went down to ask for a refund because we were NOT staying there. The employee and manager said it was not refundable once we check in and offered a free upgrade to two suites. They kept telling me to "just go look, trust me, please go look at the suite". I demanded a refund while my husband was on the phone with the Holiday Inn down the road. We were not quiet about the roaches and mold in the lobby (other people were around), showed the staff the pictures we took. Finally they refunded our money because they just wanted us out of there. Absolutely disgusting, do not stay here. Health hazard!!

The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated how quiet and clean everything was during my stay. Did I mention that the hotel rooms were spotless? Initially, I was a little skeptical about booking here, but I’m so glad I did! This hotel truly deserves a 10 out of 10. I will be recommending it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Hotel was centrally located. Close by to downtown and Opry Mills area. Hotel was very clean. Bountiful Buffet style breakfast. I enjoyed my stay and have no complaints.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Our key didn't work first thing, but they came up and gave us a different room. The elevator was a bit scary with a noise being made everytime the doors would open and no air flow in it. Overall we had a great stay, in a clean and comfortable room.

The property was close to everything we wanted to do. However one of the elevators was out of service for the 4 days we were there which caused an inconvenience for all guests staying at the property given that this was a 5 story location.
