NO POOL Pictures LIE! No room service. The lady that works lobby is awesome she cleans breakfast area, she stocks it and goes out of her way to accommodate you the others could care less. We asked for fridge to be be fixed from day 1 never happened.
- 2/5
They need to go in and do a deep cleaning. Didn’t try the breakfast. The staff are helpful. Didn’t complain to them. Probably would not stay there again.

Absolutely disgusting. I didn’t have a ceiling in my bathroom. There was literally poop on my sheets !
- 3/5
Room smelled of cigaretts
- 1/5
The hotel looked nothing like the pictures on Expedia. The curtains were ripped, the room stank, the comforters had cigarette burns, the pillow cases had stains on them, the door looked like it had been kicked in. Very bad vibe, I ended up staying someplace else. The front workers were friendly but I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Location excellent .mattress on bed was amazing comfortable . I found out I could have called Fiddlers Inn and got my room for 49.00 per night instead 82.00

Room was a little dated. Bed was comfy but customer next to us had an animal that barked during the night.

Absolutely nothing it looked nothing like the pictures. The room itself was disgusting and there was a hole in the bathroom door like someone had punched it. Everything

LOCATION WAS GOOD MADE RESERVATIONS STATING WOULD ARRIVE AT 2:00 A.M. ON SUNDAY. PAID FOR SATURDAY NIGHT. CALLED AND VERIFIED THE DAY AFTER RESERVATIONS WERE MADE ARRIVAL. ALL VERIFIED WITH DESK CLERK. ARRIVED, MET AT DOOR BY LARGE BLACK MAN SAYING "WE HAVE NO ROOMS." EXPLAINED WE HAD RESERVATIONS, (2 NIGHTS) HE SAID NO. FULL.SHOWED HIM THE PAPERWORK AND HE SAID "WELL, THERE'S ONE ROOM LEFT FULL OF CAT PEE, YOU WANT IT?" OF COURSE WE DIDN'T TAKE IT. WE HAVE STAYED MANY TIMES AT FIDDLER'S INN. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!

Booked a king room and they didn't have put us in a double bed which is the size of a full. They had stickers on the TV cabinet and looked like a dog chewed on it. The bathroom door had a hole in it and someone had burned the carpet with a iron to which they hadn't replaced. There was no coffee maker in room or cups. Very cheap accommodations and whom ever was working didn't seem to care about making things right when we arrived and day staff made excuses.

This place is awful! I am not super picky usually but the sheets were disgusting and stained. Stuff broken and hanging from the walls. Ripped carpet and curtains. Pretty sure there was some illegal activity happening outside. Tub was gross too! We turned around and left. Stayed at comfort inn nearby for a much better experience and much cleaner! Though it wouldn't take much... just shocked they charge what they do for such filth! Do not stay here!

Close to Opryland and cracker barrel Very basic, I’d always wanted to stay in a motel in America and now I have !

Bed was comfortable From check in just received a room key no room number on the key, no internet password. Opened the door to the non-smoking room smelled like an old ash tray. Double room for 3 was reserved, one wash cloth, one towel and one hand towel. Had to go to front desk for more towels and wash clothes .I was given towels but they were out of wash clothes. 3am smell of weed coming through bathroom vent. Walked to the lobby for a cup of coffee...No cups! Was told you have to bring your OWN COFFEE CUP . If you just need a place to sleep this is the place for you. If you want a stocked hotel with the minimum basics don't book this place.

Didn’t have the tv that was promised. Wouldn’t turn on. We did everything recommended by the front desk. We also went for help later with our room and the attendant was sleeping in his car and wouldn’t help us
- 1/5
This place was absolutely disgusting. Roaches in bath. Ceiling tiles missing. Locking door knob held on by blue tape. Window curtains torn in each room and others we saw.
- 4.5/5
Location was great. Room was clean, toilet and sink worked well. Bed was marginally comfortable. Air worked great. Location of Handicap parking and ramp were perfect. I felt Safe! The Internet never worked in my room, did not show up on the Wi-Fi list (confirmed by front desk personnel). My TV wasn't connected to Internet, remote was missing, had to call for help.

Property run down. Lots of rough guests
- 3.5/5
Fiddlers is perfectly located next to Nashville Palace, Nashville Palace and Music City Bar and Grill along with vintage shops in the mall behind. Its a bit worn down and tired but clean and quite, a great place to put your head down at the end of a long day. Although all the rooms are non smoking, guests obviously do not respect this and the rooms frequently smell of stale cigarette smoke and there are burn marks on the bedding. Not a huge issue, just a bit unpleasant.

It was too noisy to sleep!!!! The waffle machine was caked with batter underneath it, orange juice was bitter and second morning there was no coffee cups to get coffee. will never stay at a Fiddlers inn again. Also the safety locke on door was broke
- 3/5
Typical no-motel feeling. It was fine for the cost. Definitely not luxury like their website claims. Unless you want to call it redneck luxury.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was wonderful! It was very quite and beds were comfortable. I read a bunch of awful reviews about Fiddlers Inn and this is my 3rd time staying. I have never had a problem and rooms have always been clean. I have never seen the first bug at this place and trust me I wouldn't stay if I seen a bug. We are 2 women staying there and have never felt unsafe. Close to good restaurants! I have never had the breakfast cause cracker barrel is basically in the parking lot. I truly love staying here!
- 5/5
My stay was pleasant besides some incidents from some guest that It didn’t have nothing to do with the property. I would recommend this place for an affordable stay and there were lots of things to do around the property.

The property at the Fidders Inn has went down, that my 6th and last stay unfortunately, my room walls were dirty, there was hair inside the freezer of my fridge, no tv remote, phone didn't even have a cord to the wall, burn marks in.blankets as well has burn marks directly below a missing smoke alarm. It's going to bed sad to not let this be my home while I'm in Nashville but this place needs a revamp and Reno's
- 1/5
We used to like it here, mostly for the location and the price. This place has gone so downhill, I would not go back if it was free.
- 1.5/5
Location was the best part. Staff lied about what they had to offer. Was told we could swim in the pool but was kicked out. It was hard getting towels from front desk and the guy at the front desk during the morning was rude. I checked out early.
- 1.5/5
The room was clean and well organized The location was very sketchy and it didn’t have any of the amenities that the booking said it had.

Room was clean. Smack dab in the middle of several restaurants. Walkin distance to the Opry complex. Liquor store across the street. Several niche bar restaurants just a walk across the parkin lot in each direction. Was quiet. Id definitely tell my sun it was cool to take his family ta spend the night.

Close to the Opry Ran down. Missing carpet where an iron burned through, no batteries in the tv remote. Dogs barking in adjacent rooms and listened to screaming and cussing most of the night. Not worth the price. I told the staff about the issues but never heard anything from management.

The room was clean. They gave us a room that had not been cleaned then didn’t have a king room. There was lots of noise all night.
- 2/5
Very bad experience. The room had a foul smell and was dirty. The website says pets are free but front desk (after waiting 10 minutes to check in) said I would have to pay $20 for my dog. I referred him to the website. I didn’t pay the $20. In fact, the place was nothing like the pictures and description in its website. Because of the dirty room, I didn’t trust the free “breakfast”. I only ate packaged oat meal and yogurt. Skipping the cereal and white bread. I will take a hard pass on ever staying here again.
- 2/5
Disappointing
- 0.5/5
It was close to the convention center Bugs in the fridge, bathroom door isn’t even attached so I couldn’t shut it. Very musky smelling and smelled of cigarettes
- 3/5
The staff was amazing, but the property needs some major upgrades. My room looked like a lot of seedy things had taken place. There were holes in the walks, foot prints on doors, cigarette burns on the bedspread, and we actually witnessed a bit of "illegal trade" happening on the second floor. I'd suggest the owner take care of his kind and thorough staff and invest, AT LEAST, in a coat of paint in the rooms.
- 2/5
Tv only worked if cable connected and then disconnected.
- 1/5
We had no tv for the night and all the next day. They brought a new tv withiut a remote then had to wait for them to bring a remote and set it up that took over an hour.microwave no plate on the inside, couldnt use that. The door didn't have a safety lock. We had a toddler that kept opening the door and running out. The door unlocked when you pulled on it and being in the third and second floor that was an issue for us. The windows had plexi glass, they kept moving.
- 5/5
Rooms are clean, dated and some repairs are needed. Conveniently located with lots to do and a great price. We stay each time we are in the area!
- 3/5
breakfast basically useless not even a coffee pot going
- 4/5
It’s safe and clean. It’s not sound proof. Could hear the live band from the bar.
- 5/5
This hotel is a little further drive for me but prices are great, staff is awesome, rooms are clean and you don't have to worry about your car getting broke into or something like that. My dogs stay free and that is a deal breaker or maker for me
- 2/5
The room was dirty. The toilet isn’t bolted to the floor and the furniture was falling apart.

- 2/5
The lobby smelled so strongly with air freshners I got a headache standing in line waiting to check in. The card machine was down and not working. Had to use ATM to get cash to pay for room. I Did get a discount of $7. Beds were ok. Room was clean but carpet needs to be replaced. The nightstand table was falling apart and had someone’s eyelashes stuck to the side of the nightstand. Bathroom door needed painting. The extra lock on the door was missing the part that locks the door. For breakfast, the lobby was full of what seemed to be family members of the guy in charge of the front desk. We had already decided to eat at Cracker Barrel due to the air freshener smell in the lobby the day before. The system was down and could not print a receipt. I would not stay here again.
- 3/5
Our room inside was adequate however the door security lock was broken off. Breakfast was limited selection and area not real clean.
- 1/5
We got there and was told it was cash only, reader was broke but they have a atm in lobby... Scam? We checked in and checked out 30 minutes later. It was awful! Dirty and run down. Our AC unit was just hanging out of the wall ! It had a weird smell in lobby and room and within 10 minutes our eyes and throats were burning. My Husband had a asthma attack had to use rescue inhaler! It took hours after leaving to have eyes and throat stop burning. My eyes were actually swollen up to only half open! They only refunded us 50 % of our money! We never even used the room like I said there 30 minutes total in the room 10 ish minutes only. The front desk agent said sorry but he couldn't refund more. He seemed like he was just bored and didn't want anyone to bother him. The place was sketchy as heck and felt very unsafe. It was so gross! We drove north to Clarksville and got a Holiday Inn that was clean and safe for less than $40 more. Do NOT stay at the Fiddler's Inn! Gross, dirty, broken, rude and there is something toxic there. I showered twice at the Holiday Inn to get the gross feel off me. If we had stayed at Fiddler's we probably would be hospitalized due to whatever toxic / or allergen was in the air inside. A cleaner they use? Ha ha as if they clean! Probably spray heavy duty chemicals to cover smells. Do not stay here... Save yourself and go anywhere else! The area is unsafe but there are other hotels close.
- 2/5
The blanket had cigarette burns, one of the drawers was missing a complete front, no remote for the tv, the fan cover in bathroom fell off revealing a dark dirty hole, another hole in ceiling above the shower/tub that looked kinda moldy too….. the safety bar in the door was broken off! When I mentioned that to a staff member, he said “turn the deadbolt below the handle and then even the staff cannot get in!” It was the least expensive place in the area…. And I see why! Cheap and dirty
- 4/5
Didn’t use the breakfast!

- 4.5/5
It was clean and comfortable
- 0.5/5
The workers -rude and disrespectful
- 2.5/5
We always go to the Music City Bar whenever we’re there so we like staying at one of the hotels closest to the bar naturally the only reason we stayed there The property and the furnishings are very rundown. Sofa was nasty. The chair was stained. The curtains were in terrible shape. Also, the door did not even have one of the fold over locks for extra security and the TV didn’t work.
- 3/5
I would stay there again call me if you need help with the breakfast area and I’ll be glad to help.
- 3/5
Most of the things in the room were broken or covered with plastic and tape
- 1/5
This place was absolutely disgusting. I’m not sure who they paid to post the photos online, but it is not what is available. The room reeked of smoke, paint flaking off the walls, the main door was scraped down to bare metal with duct tape, the list goes on. Do not stay here.
- 5/5
Walking distance to some bars. Nothing
- 4/5
Close to everything Noisy
- 1/5
The first room we were first provided had a terribly strong odor to it, and the hotel locks were broken and looked like someone had kicked in the door. We asked to be moved to a different room. That room also had a broken hotel lock, missing lightbulbs, dirty walls, and the door numbers were taped on the masking tape. They provided two towels and two washcloths both were about as soft as sandpaper. I absolutely have no idea how I was charged the dollar amount that I was with the room that we received.
- 2/5
Don’t think this was a good choice. We had people knocking on our door at 3am. People trying to open our door with the card key. Just didn’t feel safe and meant we hardly slept.
- 1/5
There was no breakfast worth eating, our room had carpet stains and no lock on the door. No fan cover in the bathroom the lights in our room had plastic on them and the side table was gone. The floor was dirty and need to be cleaned.
- 1/5
Walked into our first run which had the worst odor and TV not working. They took us back up front to switch rooms where I tried to find a new place to stay cuz this place is awful. Everything was booked or $800 some event happened long made prices surge. We got into a room which wasn’t great, deadbolt broken but no smell. Slept woke up and left immediately.

Location The water pressure
- 2.5/5
Definitely needs to be updated!! And non smoking rooms shouldn't have cigarette burns in the sheets and smoke filled air
- 3/5
We didn't try the breakfast because we slept in but the couple of times I went down, no one was eating any food. The Cracker Barrel is nearby so may be why.
- 1/5
The rooms look nothing like the picture. It was far from clean and very outdated. We canceled our stay and made reservations elsewhere
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
The only issue was the really strong smell of marijuana. Staff was friendly and room was ready before check-in.
- 2/5
The people there were nice. The property seemed run down. We were given a “newly renovated room” smelled dirty and cigarette smoked. Loud disturbing noises all night including barking dogs from a room below.
- 1.5/5
They didn't offer breakfast it wasn't available The elevator was broken on the last thing too noisy people fighting outside The room had no remote control to even turn on the TV The room was messed up it smelled like smoke no pool would ask for some of my money back honestly
- 2/5
Go Elsewhere!!!!
- 2/5
For staters we got assigned our room ( front desk was super nice ) walked in and it immediately smelled of smoke mold and dirty. 2nd room had the same smell but not as bad the sheets were stained to hell and there was dirt on the bed as well. We had a lady and her kids living 4 doors down that would keep her door open constantly an walking down the the elevator ( which the certification license expired summer of 2025 ) the dog came running out the door trying to bite another guest. And they didn’t care when something was said at the front desk. There was not “extravagant breakfast like advertised. The whole property was poorly maintained and just down right disgusting.
- 5/5
I love the Fiddlers! I’ve stayed there every year for 10 years now and I’m never disappointed!
- 4/5
There was no free breakfast. Other than that everything was fine.
- 2.5/5
We had to change rooms because the TV didn't work and the bathroom was dirty in the first room. While I was in there letting them know of the issues there was also someone else complaining about their room. They moved us to another room the TV did not work there either but they did come and fix it. We have stayed here before about a year ago and it was completely different.
- 3/5
Inn was ok. Lots of potential for area it is located...but room needed work...mostly cosmetic stuff (broken switch plate, hole in wall from door knob hitting, broken blinds). Looked run down and catering to weekly/monthy live-ins, which might turn some customers away. But the bedding was clean, the clientel friendly and not too noisy, and staff helpful. For me the price was right. For me, being a handyman type guy...it took all I got to refrain from running out to the hardware store and start fixing things. Lol.
- 5/5
Yeee
- 1/5
I’ll never stay there again. Ice machine always broke, no remote for TV, surrounding guests and their kids kept us up all night, wouldn’t let me check in till 3 pm although there were plenty of rooms available, tried to charge an early arrival fee. Trash everywhere.
- 0.5/5
The convenience to some of our favorite places The room absolutely stunk, the tv had sound but no picture which I reported more than once, the curtains were filthy like they had not been washed in months. The cabinet holding the tv, microwave etc was broken at the bottom like a dog had chewed on it.
- 5/5
Clean room, very spacious and convenient to bars within walking distance. It was a very nice part of town also. We always stay at Fiddlers In. When in town!
- 2/5
Location was amazing One day we did not get maid service. Walls are very thin. Some staff did. It speak English
- 1/5
Room had exposed wires and o covers on the light switches. Missing furniture and it stink like cigarette smoke even tho it was a none smoking room
- 0.5/5
The place was dirty, the guy doing the reservation was pocketing the money people paid him to stay, the hotel room door had no locks at all, the faucet was broken, the shower was dirty looking, and the whole place was just sketchy. We checked in and checked back out about 5 minutes later and went to a different hotel.
- 1/5
Location and bed was okay. Water in shower was very hard to turn on and water pressure was very low and got cool fast. Volume on TV was very low. Carpet was woren and carpet tack stuck in my foot. Very noisy all during the night outside.
- 0.5/5
Zero The fact that nobody would answer the phone or message back .I have tried to contact.the property since January 7th to make date changes for my travel, and days upon days no response. I better not grt one charge for my reservation.
- 5/5
I love Fiddlers. We stay there every year. Great rates, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Tons of things to do within walking distance is a plus!
- 4/5
Overall, I would stay there again. It's far enough away from Broadway that you don't have to deal with the woo-hoo girls once you leave the city. Nashville Palace is within walking distance as are a lot of food choices. The Opry is across the street so if you're attending a show and want a good budget friendly place to stay, this is it.
- 1/5
Near where I wanted to be Television was shattered. People slamming doors and fighting all night. No one at the front desk to communicate with. When finally getting someone on the phone they were useless.
- 2/5
The location Upon arrival our key card wouldn’t work. We had to have someone from the office unlock the door every single time we left the room and comeback. The toilet wouldn’t flush right. We never have any issues with this place but this visit left a lot to be desired
- 2/5
Staff was fine room not so much You definitely get what you pay for One and done won’t be staying here again
- 4/5
Location is perfect walking distance to a few different bars which is why we picked it!! Price is great, especially since we only spend enough time sleep and shower!! Clean rooms!
- 1/5
Absolutely the nastiest place I have ever walked into. Didn’t stay left and found a different hotel. We booked two rooms one was covered in urine the other was so full of smoke you couldn’t breathe.
- 5/5
Great always
- 5/5
The stay was good and the bed was comfortable
- 2/5
In the bathroom, the toilet was not flushing properly and be the day we decided to move hotels, it was not flushing at all. A call was made at 5am with no answer, the call was returned at 6am saying the maid would look at it at 8am. No one came. The vent in the bathroom was hanging off the wall. There was a gap at the bottom of the door allowing a breeze into the room. The temperature never reached over 20 degrees during our stay. These are the major things that did not go well. There are more. We will never stay at this hotel again. It did not feel safe!
- 3/5
I live nearby and stayed here for five nights when the power to my home was out due to an ice storm in Nashville. This is a basic low-cost motel. No frills. The room I was in was at the far end of the motel. I preferred that location because it was quieter. The beds were comfortable. The bedsheets and lines looked clean and smelled fresh. The in-room telephone did not work. The TV was off its frame and did not work. There were some holes in the walls and the blackout curtains were filthy. The knob to the bathroom door fell off. The room smelled okay and the heater worked fine. For a basic motel room to get a decent night's rest at a reasonably low cost, this motel met my needs.
- 1/5
Horrible
- 1/5
Terrible experience, nasty room and roaches
- 1/5
One of the worst hotel stays I have had in years. Had to change rooms front the back of the hotel due to drug sales and people trying to get in my room. The room change to the front was nice but the yelling in the hallway from several instances of domestic disturbances and a front desk not answering their phone. It’s a good location but needs security. The elevator does work but likes to stick on the 2nd floor needing a push on the door
- 1/5
Ants on counter top Black bugs on floor of bathroom. Top hinge on bathroom door screws stripped out. Noise people outside of entrance door smoking and carrying on until early morning
- 4/5
Convenient for what we do
- 4/5
Walking distance
- 1/5
Bad customer service. Bad odour in the room. No breakfast even though it says breakfast in the reservation.
- 2/5
There was no breakfast, not even coffee. The only coffee was in the room. The room was clean, but the room number was hanging on the door with electrical tape, and the do not disturb sign had electrical tape as well. The outside of the hotel was sketchy, with a lot of sketchy looking things going on. The room itself was clean, and once inside it was quite. We will not being staying there again
- 2/5
Outside activity
- 5/5
Clean room nice staff great location
- 3/5
I would not recommend this place. Old needs repair. Felt very unsafe. No amenities. Noise all night. Lots of drug activity. Pay more and stay elsewhere
- 2/5
There was no tv remote the grout innthe restroom was blackthe soap dish was broken off there were holes i the walls the basboard was hanging bu a thread It smeeled likenwetncata inthe room.enough to have to get air freshners frommmy car to neutralize the smell the latch was brkenn off
- 3/5
The woman who worked there (I only saw her) was very nice. The room was basic which was fine. I was there for a convention and was only really there to sleep and get ready. However it smelled like stale smoke and was not in the best condition. I also had a couple of extra guest of the insect kind.
- 1/5
Curtains are in shreds; bathroom door doesn’t close, bldg unkept, bad smell. Owner doesn’t keep up with maintenance. This hotel has potential to be a nice place after a complete overhaul due to location and restaurants in next parking lot. It’s walking distance to Opryland and easy access.
- 1/5
Loud crackhard
- 4/5
Was a little thrown off that it says in the listing pets stay free but was charged 25 dollars per.dog and didnt really get an answer but other then that the stay was good we were only one night stay
- 2/5
Big issue is stains on mattress. Blood stain mattress need replaced or cleaned. Covering up with a pad and sheet is not acceptable. Health dept should inspect.
- 1/5
Great location. Have syayed here previously quite a few x .It just continues downhill.Filthy everything.

The whole place was very neglected. The curtins looked horrible from the out side the ripped backing just hanging down on most of the rooms. Our door security latch was broken. The remote in pur room had no batteries in it. We went and got some from the front desk ,it still didn't work. We were so tired we just went tio bed.
- 1/5
Guy checking me in was pleasant. The whole place has an air of desperation though. Prostitute next door to us. Walked past another room and the guy had his curtains wide open- he was apparently exercising naked. In full view of anyone walking by. Very weird. Bad vibes in this place. We ended up leaving and driving home. Normal travelers avoid this place like the plague. We were playing a show in town and the promoter booked us here. Made me appreciate my usual IHG hotel.

Honestly has super low expectations given the price. However the desk staff was super friendly and the room was clean. The facility is is pretty bad shape, but the bed was comfy, the water was hot and the location was great. You can’t beat the price if you want a no frills, just a place to sleep option.

Normally much better, but not this time!

The first non-smoking room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The frontvdesk staff was accommodating and move my room. The second room looked like it was in the process of some repairs and one of the bed's sheets had a cigarette burn mark on it. I didn't want to piss off the staff and I could breath in the second room. I know I didn't pay for a 5 star hotel and I definitely got what I paid for. The description of the hotel doesn't say anything about them charging a fee for pets, but they do. I didn't take my paperwork for my dog, but I still had my doctor's note on my phone to avoid the pet fee.
- 1/5
What advertised on the pictures is not how the room looked. Our original room smelled like a cat lived in there carpet was torn up, cigarettes burns in the covers. They never came and asked if we needed towels or fresh linen. We were switched over to a different room that wasn’t any better besides the smell. Very old and ran down do not go based off the pictures. They have crackheads wondering around and living there which made us uncomfortable, we didn’t stay there and requested cancellation and refund through Expedia.

Where to even begin, first we will start with check in. We get there a little early an was able to check in, but we had to wait for over a half hour cause the kid that was a the front desk didn’t know what to do. Finally the manager came got us checked in. While we were waiting to check in there was people just walking in and out back and forth watching. Making you feel unsafe. Finally we get our room. Third floor, we get in the room the A/C and heat didn’t work and the toilet was secure to the floor. So I had to walk all the way back to the front desk for the guy to be like let’s go see together we go back up to the third floor and he was like I switch you rooms. Finally get rooms switched. We get in there to have to go back down and get two more towels and stuff cause there was only one. For a double room. We get unloaded and was waiting for our other people, we were standing on the balcony and was watching the amount of traffic, prostitution, drug dealers, tweekers, people in and out of cars coming and going all day night morning is absolutely unreal. My family, our friends had to call the cops twice cause we had people trying to come in our rooms thinking that they were theirs. The people were so high that they had no idea where they were. We told the front desk about all this when we checked out and they was like oh well we didn’t know. Yeah you did cause one of your prostitues was paying you when were down there. The rooms had shaggy curtains burn hole in the bedding.
- 5/5
Never left soap no towel racks on bathroom
- 5/5
Very nice
- 4/5
Bad water pressure!!!
- 1/5
Room was not worth even $20 a night. Only thing good was at least the bedding was clean. Would definitely not recommend.
- 1/5
We ordered a shuttle to The Grand Ole Opra and it was not ordered. There was questionable people hanging around the parking lot.
- 3/5
Although it is not the hotel's fault, people below us were verbally fighting most of the day and nigjt. So it was not a good n8ght's sleep for us, unfortunately.
- 2/5
There were some pre packaged packaged things and fruit. You could make your own waffle or cereal. Just as the reviews said...it looked like the "residents" take advantage of the free breakfast. I saw the shops but didnt have time to shop.

I booked a room for my sister at the Fiddlers Inn. She has stage 4 cancer and was on her way to Florida for chemotherapy. I requested a bottom floor because she just had surgery. The staff was extremely supportive, helpful, and polite. After a hard week, they made checking in and her stay extremely easy! Thank you very much… I am forever grateful! Excellent stay!!
- 5/5
very comfortable, courteous and clean
- 1/5
Worst room i have ever stayed in. Smelled like cigarette smoke. Just a nasty place to stay.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Very clean but. Someone was knocking on my window for a few minutes
- 1/5
Cockroaches, stunk of cigarette smoke, terrible bed covers with holes, unsafe
- 3/5
This place is not as described in the pictures. Room smelled like cigarettes, carpet was wet. Mold in the bathroom shower coming from the ceiling. Very ran down rooms and dollar tree pillows. We only stayed because every other hotel was hundreds of dollars more. I will say staff was attentive and fixed most issues. The area that the hotel was in is very close to many bars, restaurants and shopping so we always had something to do within a short walk.
- 1/5
Property is not maintained. Black mold in bathroom. Vent cover off vent. Requested maintenance to unclog sink. Never happened. Removed on was decent. Will not be back.
- 1/5
I booked this hotel to bring my mother to the Grand Ole Opry for her birthday. We had stayed years ago and enjoyed the stay. It was a busy weekend at the Opry and we got there around 11 am to enjoy the mall and get a good parking space. I called the hotel to inform we would be over after the Opry. I was then asked what the Opry was. I told him we would be there after the show ended at 9. He asked if I could come over now. I told him no. He said be there by 3 am. I told him no problem. They called me three times during the show asking if I still wanted my room. I called back after the show and told them I would be there in 5 minutes. They said they could give my room away if I didn’t need it. I got there in five minutes and got checked in. When I got to the room, first off I booked two double beds, I opened the door and there was one king bed and the room smelled like urine and ammonia and wet dog so strong it would knock you over. I went back to ask for a refund and was asked if there was anyone in the room. I said no and we are not staying here and I want a refund. Do not stay here! I travel a lot and have never had to make a review like this one. I am not picky either. I want clean is all I am interested in.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Great room, clean and comfortable but unfortunately the parking lot allows large trucks to park there and some may keep their engine on all night which is loud and disruptive.
- 3/5
Good location but the room was gross. It looked clean at first glance but there was stuff on carpet, drapes were stained and torn, sheets had cigarette burn and tears, walls were dirty. I would'nt walk barefoot in the room and i put a towel on my pillow and slept above the sheets with my own blanket. Good enough for one night but would never stay again. Staff was nice.
- 4/5
Easy parking and the Opry Mills mall is in the same area.
- 5/5
I loved the price! i was expecting something gross but honestly the place was great. A little outdated but not bad for 4 days and 3 nights at nashville. Definitely recommend
- 5/5
Lots of strange thibgs going on in the parking lot. Romms were very clean, outdated but clean.
- 3/5
- 5/5
The room is clean. People were nice.
- 3/5
Great location. Needs thorough cleaning. Breakfast is minimal, actually went across street for coffee as brew at hotel was bad.
- 4/5
Overall for the price this isnt a bad hotel. The location is not bad, the parking was very open, the nearby restaurants are pretty good and the location is prime for opryland or a shuttle to Broadway. The room pictures on hotel.com seemed a bit nicer then the actual room but that has been a trend with most economical hotels you find on here.
- 4/5
Very convenient location, especially for the price point. Room was very large, bed comfortable, and everything clean. Being in a shopping center felt a bit exposed, but the stay was uneventful and pleasant. No mention of fridge or microwave in the description, but there is both, which was nice. Also, in room coffee & coffee pot, which I always appreciate.
- 5/5
It was cozy and close to a few establishments
- 5/5
Check-in was easy. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and had some recommendations for dinner, etc. Room was very clean. Price was acceptable.
- 4/5
Clean. Some things need repair in the room, but it was comfortable and clean and worked very well for me.
- 2/5
We killed two cockroaches in the bathroom and there was no hot water in Hand sink
- 2/5
Drunk people screaming and fighting at 2-3am in the parking lot, the room was okay, i reserved a deluxe room, there wasn't anything deluxe about it.
- 1/5
Scary bad. From cigarette burns in the bedding, paint falling from the ceiling, wobbly toilet, rotting cabinets and a door with gaps big enough for bugs to come and go. Expedia was able to get me a partial refund... Thank goodness.
- 5/5
Mall right across road.
- 2/5
Poor value. Cockroach at registration. Worst coffee & breakfast ever!...gone early. 2 pillows on king & no more available...6 in pics. Pool not seen from Inn...at Quality Inn (cheaper & better breakfast). Good: bed, bath, Cracker Barrel next door, lots of bars & bands near.
- 4/5
Good
- 1/5
The property is completely run down. The curtains in the room were soiled with bloodstains splattered all over them and were also filled with filth and grime. Areas of the beige curtain were black and shredded. Electrical cables were hanging out of the wall unprotected. When hotel staff were advised of the problems no action was taken. Loud live music of a nearby bar blares nightly until after 11 pm.
- 3/5
The staff were bored and it showed. They didn't seem engaged at all. Breakfast was so very basic and they only put out a small amount of fruit and yogurt which was gone by 8am and they wouldn't restock. The pool you had to walk past another hotel to get to but it was nice. The best thing about this place was the area and closeness to three bars that had great music. There are other hotels close by that wasn't that much more and I would check them out next time.
- 5/5
Though, people on the 2nd floor might be living there, and their door was often open. Some people were in and out at night, so there was some sketchy thing going on for sure.
- 1/5
We stayed because everything was booked but really run down hotel.
- 3/5
Breakfast was disappointing.
- 1/5
rooms were dirty and smelled. Bathroom toilet was broken, and didn't work right. People hanging around with doors open. Very shady
- 1/5
Too many other places to stay on this side of the Opreland.
- 4/5
Pet friendly. Lots of restaurants and music venues close by.
- 3/5
This was a pet friendly motel and was happy about that since we were traveling with 3 small dogs. We stayed here 11 years ago for honeymoon. Was less busy then. Now it was busy and noisier than before. Room was okay but could use an update on them. Looked like there was a tissue in the ceiling of the room we stayed it. Over all it was okay for the one night we needed it for!
- 1/5
We had stayed here back in July and it was amazing . We stay here this weekend and it looked like bate motel . From entering the room it was so dirty and smelt horrible that we started cleaning out room . There what a hole where the fan was at and nothing covering it . The tile ceiling in the bathroom is half pulled back . I loved the name and the last time it was good . This time all I did was tell my friends I’m sorry it wasn’t like it this time
- 3/5
Got a smoker room. Stinking with cigarettes. Pillows on one bed were slightly dirty.
- 4/5
It's a convenient stay. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly.
- 2/5
We stayed last year with no issues, this year the place has completely changed. Long term residents, domestic violence issues at 4am and sketchy people following you around when loading and unloading the car. Spend a few more dollars and go up the street to the Country Inn or one of the others. Not safe environment for women traveling alone.
- 5/5
A little out of my way but, that was my fault. I did find "off highway" directions to my destination for visiting family. It was great for a smaller hotel. Everything appliance worked. Right next to Cracker Barrel, shares a lot with little shops and a place to listen to music. Pretty quiet area. Near Operaland Hotel and their shops. Easy to navigate there with GPS .
- 4/5
Staff was very eager to help and pleasant.
- 3/5
Pretty good. Bad area for drugs. Other than that it was good
- 3/5
Great staff. Rooms borderline ok but beds comfy. One room horrible odor.. i think irine. Frabrrze minimally helped! Other room, broken bathroom fan thar was very loud and would not turn off! ACa were good.
- 5/5
All was good
- 4/5
This is not the Ritz, but it's a great budget motel next to the Opry, music city bar and the Nashville palace. It's a matter of expectations. The staff is super friendly and it's a great location. The pool sits so close to the scoreboard bar you can chill and hear their bands
- 5/5
I had everything I needed
- 3/5
The room was nice but outside of building need some attention.
- 5/5
Good shopping area
- 5/5
Great value for the location! Room was clean, staff was friendly. Don't expect quiet, though, there's a ton of nightlife next door
- 4/5
I like the options of things within walking distance
- 1/5
I was put in 3 different rooms because the first one smelled like cigarettes, the second one the tv didn’t work so got sent to a third room
- 1/5
The good: the bed was nice and comfortable and the front desk staff was nice. Walking distance to restaurants. The disappointment : the room was very dated, had a bad smell, the couch and floors seemed dirty. The Wi-Fi would not work. The tv was not working. Thankfully we have Netflix and were able to watch it. There was a lot of noise outside that kept waking us up so we didn’t get a lot of sleep. Not sure where the outside pool is.
- 3/5
Drug addicts and prostitutes everywhere.
- 2/5
we had no remote they had to replace the tv, the toilet seat bolts were loose seat wobbled hard to sit on , the shower bar fell on my wife it fell off the wall, they said they had a pool we never found it, the breakfast was not very good
- 1/5
WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED!!! ONLY STAY BECAUSE A FAMILY MEMBER HAD ALREADY PICKED IT. VERY SHADY
- 2/5
Main reason we went was for my baby's to swim. This place offers a pool but does not have one. It's a shame that was our main reason for choosing this hotel
- 4/5
Bed sheets had stains and so did towels.
- 1/5
All the fixtures in both rooms were broken, the air didn’t work they moved us to another room at 230 in the morning and it was broke air conditioning as well the pictures were nothing like the place and the gift shop had things that weren’t for sale! Worst stay ever there was a heat advisory all weekend and we stayed with no air
- 3/5
Make sure you request and get a non-smoking room. The area is nice. The room was clean. It's affordable compared to other hotels in the area. It has a in room microwave and fridge and iron and ironing board. There is a Craker Barrel right next to it. It is right across the street from the Convention Center. The taxi from the airport (july 2025) was a flat rate of $30. Uber rates are comparable. This hotel offers lite breakfast. Also shuttle to downtown I think its about $15 for the hop on-hop off bus. They have coupons for pizza or you can also do dominos. If all you need is a clean place to sleep, this is the ticket.
- 5/5
Amazing and the shuttle was awesome to downtown
- 5/5
A great price for a decent hotel.
- 5/5
Smell in room was bad.
- 5/5
Reasonably priced near opry. Older property but clean and comfortable. Sam at check in was great.
- 1/5
The door to the room wouldn't lock and an employee walked into our room while I was shaving and my wife was sleeping. I will not be staying again.
- 4/5
The staff were ok. One of the female staff members really greeted us and left a great impression upon arrival. The rest of the staff members were friendly as well. The building is not the best, but average; so staff really made up for it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and might consider coming back again.
- 2/5
Staff and check in went great. Sketchy looking people and activities taking place.
- 5/5
For the money alone this was excellent for a 3-day weekend stay. Previous reviews set up a fear but the rooms were clean and comfortable we even had another person join us and got his own room and it was clean and good as well. We even extended our stay one more day. The location was wonderful we were three girls two of us with birthdays and we just wanted to find a good place with live music. There is four of them right at the back door of this place. And a cracker barrel next door. Opry Mills Mall was right around the corner and we were able to park in the back of the mall where the theaters were and walk through a white fence over to the botanical gardens at opryland motel they were beautiful. We caught the shuttle will not and went downtown and have a over bring us back. That went real well and nobody had to drive since we were drinking. I suppose if you stay there and you do feel like your room is dirty like in some of the previous reviews.just ask them to swap rooms
- 1/5
We did not stay. We got one room where toilet was broken, next room (non-smoking) gagged us from the smell of smoke, carpets were filthy- afraid to let grandchildren in the room. We checked out and went elsewhere, they offered to move us again but we already wasted 45 minutes and needed to get to the Opry.
- 4/5
Catio lounge nearby an extras plus if you like spending time with kitties.
- 2/5
There were 3 rooms on our side of the building on the base level that had constant traffic of strange men in and out at all hours. The three rooms had 3 or four women that seemed to go back and forth between the rooms. The women barely had clothes on. Let me say for clarification I'm not a prude at all. Its hot as all get out in TN right now. I understand wearing shorts and short tops, trust me. When I say these women barely had clothes on, I mean it was very obvious that they were dressing a certain way for a reason that was NOT legal. Our first night there, there were several loud bangs and some screams from the room next door followed by doors slamming and arguing. The hotel would have been really nice if it hadn't been for all of that shady activity.
- 1/5
Old, broken, smelly room
- 5/5
Good location and roon was nice
- 3/5
Staff was great, you get what you pay for at this place. First room was plagued with the smell of cigarettes. Staff was helpful to get us into a much cleaner room. Thankyou!
- 1/5
The room has weird smell. No soap... Just 2 towels for a occupancy of 4. the bathroom did not have exhaust. I would have got better choices for the price I paid. The overall crowd is not family oriented. Definitely not for family with kids.
- 3/5
Great location is this accommodation
- 3/5
The room was nothing fancy. But it was clean and served its purpose. I wouldn’t bring our kids back because well.. there was clearly some interesting folks around. But as far as a clean room to sleep in only, it served its purpose.
- 3/5
Also loved the neighborhood. Very lively surroundings. All in all not bad for the rate you pay for.
- 4/5
We liked that it was ten minutes or less from the Opry House. Check in was quick and easy even though we arrived two hours before the listed check in time. The room was nice and accommodating for our one night stay. The only problem was the limited parking spaces. We drive a large GMC Sierra that needs more space to get in and out and it just wasn’t available. Nobody told us if there was any other parking available so when we came back from the Opry and found all spaces taken, we took a space in the Cracker Barrel parking lot. A three story hotel should have more than single row of parking.
- 5/5
It was very clean friendly very nice room beds were comfortable everything was perfect
- 4/5
It was very nice and very friendly people and it was no problems no police all the time no nothing it was very nice motel I would recommend anybody to go to it
- 5/5
I cannot believe the price I paid to be walking distance from the convention center. Everything worked, breakfast was free, rooms were clean and cool, and I was able to get a room on the bottom floor, where I could park by my room, which I prefer. I definitely recommend the Fiddler's Inn!
- 1/5
Horrible
- 5/5
Great price, walkable to some live music, food and bars. Pet friendly with no extra fees or deposits. Spacious rooms. Close to the grand ol opry and freeways. Free breakfast was ok, but at least it’s free. All around would recommend.
- 5/5
very good
- 5/5
Love the closeness to our event
- 1/5
It looked old and outdated on outside. Checked in, got key cards, went to room and opened the door and were met by a large black pit bull and desheveled looking woman. Went to desk and there was a sign the check-in guy was gkne for 15 min. When he came back I asked for a complete refund and said we would not stay at that hotel. Had to try and find another hotel last minute during CMA week. Would not recommend at all!
- 1/5
Horrible experience. Showed up here yesterday with my girlfriend and dog. Took us 25 minutes just to get checked in and was told right off the bat that the pool is down because they are fighting with zoning/safety issue. He charged me for the pet fee. The guy checking us in and had an angry lady on the phone for minutes while we waited. We got our keys and went to our first room on the first floor. When walking to our room there was garbage everywhere and very sketchy individuals out in the parking lot. There was brown stains on one of the beds and the entire room reeked of cigarettes so bad. My girlfriend has bad asthma too and almost caused her to have an attack. She went to go get the rooms switched and we had one all the way on the top floor that smelled even worse of cigarettes! And the door looked like a piece of plywood you got on the cull cart at Home Depot. Then on the way down to request a refund there were more individuals standing in front of the rooms definitely smoking weed and what looked like something else that smelled funky. When we went to go talk to the man at the desk who had already told us he was a manager. All he said was call Expedia and they will take care of it. Well there was nothing that could be done because you can’t get a hold of someone to save your life. He wouldn’t refund the pet fee either. Also when requesting our refund another man who just got there as well came in demanding a refund. We left and did not stay. Would not refund us
- 1/5
Their was no breakfast like the add showed. Their was just orange juice. The refrigerator did not work so we could not use it.
- 5/5
Our stay is always great there. We stay there alot
- 3/5
Close to entertainment
- 2/5
So moved rooms. Wifi cut in n out. Still a couple ants. Heard noise outside all the time.
- 3/5
Na
- 5/5
wonderful staff easy check in and out! the beds were comfortable and our room was very clean! we stayed 2 nights! if you’re looking for affordable, and clean, this is the one to go to, coming from a person who inspects everything in a hotel before using it lol!
- 2/5
Bathroom and beds were very clean but beyond that the room was run-down amd dirty looking....curtains ripped, doors have seen better days, the place was noisy all night!
- 3/5
Cons: Unfortunately, the amenities at the hotel leave a lot to be desired. There is no pool and breakfast dwindled down to nothing as the week progressed. Many people had troubles with key cards not working, us included.
- 1/5
Drug deals, urine smell, people on meth, you know the kinda place where you get a prostitute or two. Broken door locks room number taped with duct tape and no paint on doors, smell of urine in the sink.
- 1/5
Our place was dirty, smelled bad, there was hardly any breakfast, it was loud outside, and there were bright lights on outside all night so our room wasn’t dark.
- 1/5
Every possible thing you wouldnt like about a motel.... period
- 2/5
Well first off the room was missing chairs, ironing board, part of the lock and the smoke detector wasn't on the wall but in one of the drawers. They did move us to another room but when checking for bed bugs I noticed like a towel/blanket under the sheets which when looking under was covering stains. It was noisy but that's expected with the surrounding establishments. Parking was limited. Bathroom was small and you had to be careful so you didn't slip in the tub. I didn't do the breakfast but my friend said there was just 2 cereals and a waffle maker to make your own waffles. The one day housekeeping knocked on the door and my friend told her I was in the shower and asked if she could come back but she said she didn't speak English but asked if we needed towels. I wouldn't stay there again but that's just me.
- 1/5
This place is in major need of repairs. Ceiling falling, holes in walls, stains and markings on carpet and walls.
- 5/5
Location was great. Not the Holiday Inn but the price was within my budget. TV & pillows was a little small. I probably would stay again for a short visit but only because I wouldn't use the shower
- 4/5
My stay was decent the hotel room and cleanliness was questionable. From the pictures ,
- 5/5
Great area!!!
- 2/5
We had two rooms. One had cigarette burns in the bed covers and roach legs in the bathroom. The do not disturb signs are taped to the doors with duct tape, some of the room doors have peeling paint, and the entertainment system on the TV in the other room didn't work fully. The lights outside of the rooms were extremely bright and impossible to block out decently with the curtains.
- 2/5
Had to wait forever for check-in, no one was at the desk. Room was run down, there were holes in the furniture and boogers on the wall in the bathroom. Not enough parking. Bathroom floor was wet and pillows were flat and there weren’t enough of them. No one was ever at the front desk when we tried to ask for extra pillows. I felt uncomfortable sleeping there, didn’t feel safe and secure in that room.
- 4/5
Older motel, very.popular. Clean and fomfortwble ror short stays. Definitely no frills. EaY walk to several places to eat - McDs, Bobs, Cracker Barrel. Close to several musix venues. Best reature for me was dogs stay free. Not the best dog areas but several green spots for toileting pups.
- 5/5
Place doesnt look appealing on the outside but the lobby and rooms are tastefully done. Front desk staff was very accommodating. Was a quick one night stay for the Kane Brown concert but would choose to stay again
- 2/5
I didn't think this place is good value
- 2/5
Close to Gaylord that was sold out. So it has that going for it. Oh and it’s close to Cracker Barrel.
- 3/5
We ended up leaving something in our room and went back not even an hour later, my husband went in, the receptionist told him they didn’t even have the room we stayed in several times and finally gave him a key to the room and our stuff was already gone. The receptionist said he didn’t know what had happened to it. Other than that our stay was ok for the price.
- 1/5
I was awake all night from the noise and music, it was absolutely ridiculous how loud it was. There was a cockroach in the bathroom when I woke up if the night wasn't bad enough.
- 5/5
Always an excellent stay. Been coming for many years and will return for many more.
- 3/5
The front desk was great and very helpful. Our room was changed to a cleaner room, but the door did not have an adequate lock I noticed after carrying bags in. I am not ashamed to admit that I pushed a chair and our suitcases up against the door for the night after my child went to sleep. At least they would make noise if someone did try to get in. I did not sleep as there was a lot of noise from the room next door, in and out. Did I expect the Hyatt no, but a door lock is something that every SINGLE room should have. No matter the price a person should feel safe enough to sleep.
- 5/5
Stay: no problems or issues I love the location great food and live music all around 3 minute drive from the mall 15 minutes from downtown area and free parking. I got my money’s worth. Check out the staff is very nice and friendly. You are the first and last person I see.
- 4/5
It was a nice place to lay our heads for the night before heading home the next day. The service was nice. Staff was friendly.
- 4/5
The property needs updating and maintenance. The curtains are ripped in many rooms, the door locks are loose and the carpets have holes and rips inside the rooms.
