The hotel was close to the Nissan Stadium, the rooms were nice & stocked nicely. Breakfast was AMAZING! My ONLY complaint was the booking & charges! I booked in advance on Booking.com. When I arrived, the front desk informed me that they needed a deposit (no problem) & also charged me AGAIN for the room. When I took receipt of already paying, they agreed to fix it. Of course, it would be a few days before it was returned to my card. Then they charged me AGAIN for the room. This makes three times! Then I'll be daggum if I didn't get home & was charged AGAIN! They eventually righted the wrong, but a room that was supposed to be $130 cost me approximately $500 until it was fixed. That part was a total nightmare.

Nothing So we got in My husband checked us and it was pretty late because we got in town late, but the guy at the front desk was like I’m gonna try your car for security and My husband was like a holding fee right? He looked at My husband like he was stupid. And said it for security sarcastically. That means we’re not queen size bed. They were more so full-size being very uncomfortable very hard. The room didn’t smell nice at all. Then it was time to check out and I asked the lady of front when with the hold come off for security or whatever they call it. She was given attitude basically said something like it depends on your bank when all I was a yes, or no question basically. I didn’t like how the shower was made how you had to get him the shower by the toilet completely made wrong and like I said, I’ve never been in a hotel that didn’t smell like a hotel. Oh, and also the elevator was broken so My husband had to walk up five flights upstairs to bring our luggage.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The breakfast could have been better, as there were times when items were unavailable, including the coffee. However, when the coffee was available, it was very good. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with good customer service and a clean environment.

Phone was not working, they did not come to fix it. Loud noise in bathroom, again did not bother to fix it after complaining.

Everyone was helpful and courteous. The rooms were very clean. The bed were comfortable the room was large. Bathroom was very clean and bright. The only thing that had a down side was that it's near the airport so you can here the take off of some jets and it's a busy area so you can here motorcycles and louder cars overnight if you're a light sleeper. I stayed here overnight on the way to Florida will be staying here again on my return home.

There was no hot water for the first day we were there and there are no lights in one of the elevators. I also suggest they have more readily available corkscrews but the staff was amazing and the gentleman delivering corkscrews and extra towels at night was fantastic. Check in was easy check out was also great I just think some maintenance issues could be handled better.

The hot breakfast every morning was very nice. There was plenty of variety. Staff was very nice. The room could have been a touch cleaner. I did wake up the first night and find ants in the cat food and all over the bathroom. They sent someone up to clean it with cleaner. It did get sprayed the next day while I was out of the room.

We found hair in the bathroom as soon as we arrived, and all the staff wore sour expressions the entire time.

We had planned to leave our car packed at Sonesta Select for the duration of a 3+ week trip. We've left our car there for other trips and the rates are great (we go through OnAir Parking) and we've never had a problem. As a bonus, they have a 24 hour airport shuttle. When we decided to go to Nashville the night before our early flight, we thought it would be logical to stay at the same hotel. We'd never stayed here before and we were pleasantly surprised. The room rate was very reasonable and we were impressed with our room and with the hotel in general. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to leave too early to have breakfast but the gentleman at the front desk offered us yogurt and fruit to have while we waited for the airport shuttle. We'll definitely stay here again.

We stayed here overnight as it was close to the airport. The shuttle was very handy and easy to locate for pick up. Breakfast was standard fare.

We had an amazing one night stay. All the staff we encountered were so friendly and extremely helpful! The airport shuttle and breakfast was great to have before an early AM flight. The hotel rooms were quiet, clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again when visiting Nashville. If you want to be close to the airport, don’t hesitate to book!

Check in was a problem. Front desk could not find my reservation despite my showing the confirmation and receipt. They suggested I was at the wrong hotel despite seeing my confirmation. After several minutes he found me listed under my first name, not last name. Other issues - reservation stated breakfast included. However, the hotel charges a daily "Resort fee" of $15, which we were told is for breakfast and parking! Very shady, in my opinion, to tack on $15/day to park, and for really lousy breakfast. The coffee was good, the eggs powdered and tasteless. Would prefer no breakfast and free parking. The room was OK, but the sink is in an open area by the beds, and the space is small. If someone is using the sink while other person sleeping, that is a problem. The toilet and shower are separate, and that has a door. One bed is literally right next to the AC/Heater unit, and if you want to cool the room it is freezing if in the bed next to the unit. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, the person above was very heavy footed. The place is ok for overnight stay near the airport. The $15/day fee is ridiculous and Expedia should provide a note about this additional fee.

During a huge storm and power outage the staff went above and beyond for their customers. Even getting us into our room while the power was still out so we didn't have to spend the night in the lobby. Excellent work!!

No electricity and it was all dark for hours, we didn’t check in, we had children and needed electricity. Lots of strange characters hanging around in the lobby area. Doors were left wide open…we couldn’t stay there…not safe, no smoke detectors no phone service and internet was out. Everyone should be refunded that did stay there.

I am not one to complain but this was disgusting and these weren't tiny blood spots either. Maybe if the staff on duty handled this differently and had a little compassion and said "sorry" I wouldn't be leaving a negative review. Otherwise the room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. Just check your sheets and don't expect great customer service unfortunately.

- it was a place to stay on short notice - had to park in an overfill lot - had two people working the front desk, but one of them kept making the other do the check-ins. This caused long wait times because they did not want to help. They didn't have an issue chatting with other people though.

Pool and fitness center were both decent size and facilities. Bathroom was properly stacked with toiletries. Did not use the shuttle, but everytime I went downstairs, the driver and the shuttle were both there.

The airport shuttle was very easy. We did not have breakfast because we had to leave early for the airport. Our air conditioner didn’t work right in the room and the phone didn’t work either other than that it filled the knee that we used it for.

We had a good three night stay at the Sonest Select Nashville Airport Suites over this past weekend. Many things were great about this hotel - the room was extremely clean and the hotel overall was in excellent condition; our bed was comfortable; we appreciated the sofa/desk area in our room and the microwave, mini fridge and bar sink. A few minuses though - it was very noisy in our room during the night as our room was adjacent to the elevator shaft. We heard the elevators running throughout the night and people talking loudly as well (especially on Friday and Saturday nights). We could hear the jet planes coming into and leaving BNA. And the hot water was just warm enough - but we would have appreciated it to be a bit warmer. Overall this was a good hotel - but lesson learned, in the future I will be requesting a room far away from the elevator!

The room layout was great for Three adults and twin four month olds . The Bed frame for the box spring on the bed by the little dividing wall, to the door seems to be broken and I did catch the top side of my ankle on it. The area around the hide abed and hide abed mattress, you can tell have not been cleaned for quite awhile.

Breakfast was okay, nothing standout. One thing to note is that waffles were only available on Sunday, which was a bit disappointing if you’re staying during the week and expecting a fuller selection. Housekeeping was a bit of a mixed experience. While service was completed, the staff weren’t particularly warm or engaging compared to the rest of the team. The shower temperature was another minor issue, it never got fully hot, more on the warm side, which could be a downside depending on your preference. All in all, a solid stay for the space and helpful front desk staff, with a few areas that could use improvement.

My husband enjoyed staying at the Sonesta Select in San Francisco. He booked our Nashville trip at another Sonesta Select and we weren't disappointed! The staff were friendly upon entry and the room was clean. The hotel also offered a shuttle to and from the airport which was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff was wonderful. Had an issue getting there on time, because of airline issues, but called and spoke with Lexi on the phone. She was very helpful and handled all the details. Arrived and entry was well done and nice. Room was very dated and musty smelling. Lamp next to bed flickered like a horror movie. Bathroom was dated with a little bit of mildew in the tile grout. Asked night attendant about breakfast and was advised was served from 6a-8a. We got in very late and decided to sleep in till 8a and just skip breakfast. Went to check out just before 9a and saw that breakfast was actually served from 6a-9a.

Check in was really smooth. The lady at the front desk was so nice. The staff here from the front desk to the maintenance staff is so wonderful. The room looked a little dated but was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast. Parking was plentiful. We were able to find a space out back right in front of the door. It is in a great location near the airport and not too far from Opry Mills.

Water turned off mid shower, due to unannounced plumbing work? Asked to have room serviced around 1130 am, evidently that was too late? Ordered airport shuttle for 630 am, got down there at 631 am to see the shuttle pulling away? punctual I guess?

I was not informed that there was no hot water. Unable to take a hot shower we had to wash up. I was awaken by loud water flowing through pipes sounds and I sounds of water dripping. Water was leaking in several areas from the ceiling. The carpet was soaked in a few different places. A few streams of water ran down through the outlet that the TV was plugged into. Water also leaked from the fire alarm system. A guy working at the front desk was extremely rude when I reported the issue. It was a nightmare

Our room was clean and suited us well. The breakfast was well kept and had good variety. We were able to enjoy the indoor pool several times. Definitely would stay again if we are in the area

We stayed this place for 3 nights. We expected to get our room cleaned when we took off the sign on the door knob. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned. The front desk told us that they are so short staff in the hotel. We needed to request to clean our room.

Parking js horrible, the breakfast was not that good, the toilet and tub was not clean more stained , the couch was stained bad. We stayed one night but it waa not so good.

The room was very clean the staff was amazing.. stayed in room 101 that was a nightmare I couldn't get any sleep then doors slamming throughout the night. There were no parks. They should regulate the amount of parks people can use. The hold and resort charge is over the top. Especially if you don't use the Amenities.

They charged an extra $15 a day on top of what I already paid for the room. Said it covered things like breakfast and parking. I did not ask for breakfast and they had no where for me to park. Every time I came back it took at least 45 minutes to get a parking spot.

First I would like to say that the room was spacious and when we first checked in the room was clean . However during our stay no one ever came to clean the room , give us new towels or rags change the bedding or take the trash out . We had to take the trash out daily by ourselves, go down and ask for clean towels and rags for the 4 days that we stayed there and the AC wasn’t working in the 17 degree weather so we couldn’t turn the heater own . One time an alarm was going off in our room and when I called downstairs to tell them they said they would send someone up but never did . The only reason I gave average and not poor was because of the spacious room . I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone else

The people at the front desk are excellent. The only issue is there was a water problem at the hotel First room assigned #227 had a smell to it from the bathroom sink and the TV didn’t work. Fortunately, there was another room available #222 which smelled fresh and the TV worked. The rating is lower for condition of the first room. Your cleaning service should have caught the issues in advance in #227 and alerted their Supervisor to alleviate the ill convenience to a paying customer. I didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel so no rating for that.

My experience was below expectations. There was a noticeable musty smell in the room, and the bathroom had mold issues. With the extra $15 daily charge, I expected simple things to be well maintained, but that wasn’t the case.

The hotel is centrally located and easy and convenient to get to. The area has restaurants close by. The rooms are comfortable, with lots of space. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of options. The rate is very reasonable for the size and perks (breakfast and indoor pool). This is a great option!

Every member of staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. However, the bathroom was not clean- there was a ring of filth in the toilet, rust and mildew stains on the tile and in the shower, and dirt buildup in all corners. When we asked for extra sheets and blankets, they had suspect stains in them. We have stayed at a Sonesta Select before and would again, but not this location.

The airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel was confusing as there are two different hotels with the name Sonesta (select suites airport vs Sonesta suites). For the bang for the buck I would have chosen simply Sonesta Airport as they have a restaurant and 2 pools.. The inconsistences regarding room cleaning, airport pick up etc, Breakfast area is too small for the amount of guests to accomodate.

This hotel was convenient to the airport and easy 15 to 20 minute Uber ride to downtown and all the attractions. It had a decent gym. The rooms were nice, adequate space, and had light small kitchen area. The front desk was helpful and friendly.

The AC didnt work in the room the first night, the bathroom had hair all in the shower, our trash sat next to the door for 2 days even though we told someone, staff reccommended a random guest to give us a ride to the airport, there was no extra blanket in the closet or laundry bag.

Very friendly staff and the room was clean. I liked the location as well. We were able to hit all the spots we wanted to go within a less than 20 minute drive.

The rooms were clean and our stay was peaceful. The staff went above and beyond for us when my son left his wallet in the room. We live far away so we weren’t able to go back to retrieve his wallet, but they were nice enough to mail it back to him. I really appreciate the staff here and would stay again.

The breakfast was standard so no complaints there. The room was pretty spacious and there wasn’t much noise.

Nothing unique just simple

I arrived shortly after with two other friends, and our experience was also terrible. After a long flight and a considerable wait, the van pulled up, we waved at the driver, he clearly saw us, but still drove off with no passengers. After waiting another 45 minutes, the driver finally came back, was extremely rude, and drove way too fast the entire way. Finally, when we checked in and were changing clothes to head out, housekeeping knocked on the door and immediately tried to push in their key card, saying we weren’t supposed to be in that room eventhough they were the ones who had given it to us. Luckily, we had the safety latch on, because all of us were changing at the time… All in all, I do not recommend this hotel!

I stayed here for 4 nights hung the clean towel sign on my door 2 days didn’t get em had to go to front desk to get some clean towels , requested housekeeping twice they never came 4 nights nobody came to get my trash , provide clean towels , ask if we needed anything … I ain’t NEVER had this type of experience where I ask the front desk was this normal for them to not come clean even with the sign she said “you ever heard the saying can’t beat a dead horse” !! She said I’ll write your room number down for them to clean tomorrow cause I JUST got here at 3 and they leave at 4 …. Ohhh and the parking was terrible !!!! If we ain’t parked by 11 the parking lot look like it’s an arena parking we had to ask the front desk what we was suppose to do they came out in had us park in the (10min limit parking in the front)

Hotel was comfortable and clean as expected. Breakfast was pretty good. Had some minor trouble with airport shuttle and late night access to front desk help but overall it was a nice stay

The breakfast tasted really good and the stay was nice. I really liked my suite but I felt it could’ve been cleaned better.

Check in employee was very nice. In the middle of the night someone somehow got into our room but thankfully I had latch closed so they were only able to open the door slightly. This was very scary as there should be no way for someone to get into the room. When I spoke with front office regarding this they said said “I’m sorry, our system has been down so we can’t check to see who tried to get in. Sorry that happened.” This is unacceptable!

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. Room was very spacious and clean. The staff at the front were very easy going and polite. Check in was very easy. Would definitely recommend staying here. Lyft from the hotel was so convenient and better than renting a vehicle.

Always out of coffee every morning and no rush to get more!!! I left a day early because of a very large group of black folks on my floor making way too much noise!!! I have not received any compensation in form of refund for my leaving a day early ... i have stayed here several times but NEVER again!!

Friendly & clean

The gentleman who worked the breakfast/dining room area was rude and disrespectful. He was definitely more accommodating & polite to black customers. He made my wife uncomfortable with the way he talked to her. Because of these employees, we will NEVER stay there again. Nor will we ever recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Nashville area.

Only con key card would not unlock the side entrance doors from the outside.

The shuttle was ok, the “free” breakfast wasn’t free! They held $100.00 for security deposit but only returned about $84 and said $16.00 was the cost of the “free” breakfast. That’s rubbish.

When looking up the address, just make sure to put the Sonesta Select as it will get confusing with the other Sonesta Airport. Not a bad thing - we had a late checkout and someone knocked on our door at exactly 2PM as we were literally on our way out. Would stay again!

Nice friendly staff and good option for being close to airport. Cleanliness could be improved. The room felt dirty and could use bleaching the plastic shower pan, and the sofa and carpet could use a deep clean with a shampooing. But decent for a short stay.

The property was pristine clean. No faults with our room, bathroom and kitchenette. Our coffee maker was missing the tray but everything else was superb!

This hotel was pretty good everything about it was amazing including the staff. The only issue we encountered was one on our last night where the room next to us had a dog staying there that barked for the entire time because the owner left it in the room by itself When reported to staff nothing was done

The toilet paper was the cheapest & thinnest you could find, I had to go buy my own. There was hair on the shower wall, luckily I always travel with cleaning supplies. The iron in the room didn't work, I tried it in several outlets. I left my phone in the room luckily Kash found it and brought it down to the front desk where it was waiting for the receptionist to left her know that I left it but she was talking to someone in the back hallway and was acting like I wasn't even standing at the desk I had to ask the manager (I think) who came inside after did. to get service..... I'll NEVER stay at another Sonesta property again

amazing experience

Requested non-smoking room, but there was a very strong smoke smell as soon as I approached my door to get in. The room itself smelled so strongly of smoke that I began to have a headache before I fell asleep. Charging port next to bed did not work. Several ants were crawling in the sink when I brushed my teeth.

Clean, well maintained property that comfortably accommodated 3 adults. A great value for the price. I would stay again.

This review would be 5 stars but we were charged an additional $16 dollars for each room (not included in the original price paid). This should be included in the original Expedia price. There was also some sort of party/convention being held across the road in the corner parking lot for owners of the "Slingshot" style vehicle. Very loud music up until around 10PM. We were traveling with a little one, so this made it hard for us to settle down for the night. Not the hotel's fault but something to consider for future stays. Otherwise, the rooms were clean, the front desk was very friendly (one girl in particular was GREAT with our little one and gave her a free toy). Overall, I would stay here again, but the additional fees and potential for noise are definite drawbacks.

This was a wonderful stay! The beds were so comfortable. There was 4 pillows per bed!! Makes a huge difference when u have extra pillows. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash and lotion all great quality. The breakfast was a great breakfast we stayed a whole week and u never heard your next door neighbors. We will be back. So close to everything and the airport. Super impressed!

This property is quite affordable, therefore everyone in the city stayed there. In the morning the breakfast was crowded, not amazing options.

The elevators weren’t cleaned for my 4 day trip. A dead bug stayed in the elevator the entire time. The cleaning lady was unnecessarily rude.

The Front Desk ROCKed!!!!

Every single one of the staff members that we encountered were friendly and professional. They allowed our two giant dogs, Great Dane and hefty Labrador to stay and did not bat an eye about the normal dog things they were doing. Surprisingly very clean, I’m always skeptical about any hotel to be honest, unless I’m dropping 400bucks a night. Rooms were fine, appeared a bit more updated than most, but still just a regular ole hotel with somewhat older used stuff, as expected. Pool is fantastic, breakfast was the bomb. If we find ourselves in this position again, we def will come here. Would give it a five star, for what it’s worth, just didn’t love how small the beds were. They look big in the pics, but pay attention. They are full size beds, and that was a bit disappointing. Would have loved a queen, but overall, 8 out of 10. I think it’s worth the risk and cost.

This hotel was just a very quick easy check in. Room was clean and orderly.

This was the fifth hotel I’ve stayed in the past month and by far the absolute best. Staff was so helpful in accommodating our request for connecting rooms by offering a free upgrade for my other party even though they were at full capacity. Room was clean, fully stocked, and user friendly. Would absolutely stay there again when I go back to Nashville.
