    Check the air conditioning right away. On a 90 degree day the air conditioner wasn't working. When I mentioned it to the front desk I was handed a card to email the manager. Also, expect to pay for the valet. Street parking is only option and not the best area. One positive is the restaurant food was better than expected.

    The closeness to the airport and the free hotel shuttle to the airport. The microwave and complimentary water in the room. The quiet and large room was clean. The shower screen was not water-tight, therefore the water leaked out when one showered. It was also a rainfall shower head and the shower was very loud and noisy when used (running water). The room decor was a bit out-dated, but it was clean and spacious.

    This hotel has an excellent location very close to JFK. We give very high points to the staff as they were excellent, and very attentive to our every need. The room we had was slightly dated. The exercise room was beautiful. The on-site restaurant was okay. All in all the hotel was slightly overpriced no doubt because of their closeness to the airport.

    Perfect for an early flight from JFK. Staff were welcoming and efficient even though it was very late in the day when we checked in. I assume most of the customers use this hotel as a convenient night between flights. I was disappointed that no early breakfast options were available. I would suggest a simple breakfast with hot tea or coffee would suit most people.

    the shuttle was terrible and though i was departing from terminal 4 , the driver refused to drop me at departure and i was dropped literally to a place for cargo and i was absolutely alone in the entire place and in that rush to check in , took me apprx 8-10mins to get to my departure terminal . the shuttle serive for which we stay there

    The breakfast was excellent and good value for money. The woman taking orders and serving was helpful especially as I was gluten free. Well done The process for organising shuttle. I had no wi fi and no workable phone coming from Australia. The phone at the station wasn’t working and I ended up asking some people at the pick up point to call hotel for me.

    The room wasn't clean and we reported that to another receptionist the next day who changed the room with another one which was a little bit cleaner. The food was good and the lady who serve at the restaurant was very nice and helpful. There was a nice guy who took care of our luggage and provided us with a delicious ice-cream in the second day.

    The best thing about the hotel is the people working there. They are the reason we come back every time we're at the airport. Junior Azize has been outstanding 👏 he helped us several times and every time went above and beyond a good service. He helped us with bags, complementary services ( ice cream, fruit and cheese, and wine ) and checked on us every time we were at the lobby

    Nice welcome. The room was clean and in good condition. The dinner menu was limited but was okay. The only problem I had was trying to contact the property when I arrived at the airport to arrange the shuttle. In the end I found the hotel shuttle bus location at the Federal Circle and just waited until the bus turned up.

    The bathroom door was a sliping door, heavy and on a top slider.. It almost fell on me,, Yike's We had to shower and go to the bathroon with closing door, Also the faucet in tub leaked. I did let them know but they did not come as long as we were there. The room next door played music all night, We asked the concierge to tell them to stp as I had to wake up 4 in morning, but they did not. The front desk knowcked their door but were unsucessful.     The staff were friendly and nice. Ready to help whenever you have a question. The complimentary coffee in the mornings was really good; the only downside is that this hotel does not have complimentary breakfast included.     This was a great hotel for JFK layover. They have a prompt airport shuttle and had good food and drink options available late at night and in the morning. They have a clientele made of pilots and airline staff so very accommodating. Staff was wonderful. Beds comfy and rooms were quiet!

    Junior lived up to his title of Service Excellence Ambassador. What a professional and incredibly welcoming presence at the hotel. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean and the proximity to the airport with the shuttle was perfect for our early morning flight. Shower in the bath is not my favourite but at least you have the option to shower and / or bath! Other than that, no complaints for a short stay.

    I booked that room due to an early morning flight from JFK. The airport shuttle was fantastic, frequent, and with friendly, helpful drivers. The front of house staff were equally amazing, with recommendations about how early to get to the airport, which shuttle to take, etc. I left too early to get breakfast and just showered and went to bed when I got there, so I didn’t have a chance to hang out at the bar or have food there. I ran into a woman from the housekeeping staff at 4:50 in the elevator whose greeting and spirit just made my day! I will definitely stay again for travel ease. It was so easy to take the train from Grand Central, switch to the Airtrain and then take the shuttle to the hotel & back to the airport! Loved the whole experience!

    The hotel room was in disrepair. The bathroom sink faucet was broken. The room had not be dusted in a long time or furniture wiped down. The thermostat needed replaced, as you could not read the buttons. This is so disappointing considering the good reputation Marriott has, and the amount of money paid for this room.

    Fell short to my expectations for a Marriott property. Smoke detector in room was going off at night and air conditioning in room not working correctly. Also minimal breakfast options when booking through third party prepaid breakfasts. Have stayed in Fairfield and Springhill suites that are way nicer to this courtyard

    Smooth check in even in the middle of the night. The man working the front desk had a line out the door and he was still vey calm and in a good mood. The only bad thing is we booked this room to sleep during our 8 hour layover and we couldn’t get the light on the hall near our bathroom to turn off. There was no switch. Thankfully we were all so exhausted it didn’t matter.

    We arrived last night, 3-10-26, from a 17.5 hour direct flight from Singapore. Checked in after 7:30pm, very tired, dropped the air to 70 degree and fan on high. We went right out and woke up around 12:30 am. The air conditioner wasn’t working. Lowered the temp to 68 nothing. Of all the times we needed sleep, this was it. Suffered through the night, told the front desk in the am. They didn’t seem to care. Won’t stay here again

    Room smelled strongly of urine…not exaggerating. The staff were rude. The shower was clogged. The area was not nice. Next time I would just stay in Manahattan and uber over. I’m not a picky person, but this hotel was nasty.

Even the cheapest airport hotel/motel supplies lotion. 3) also… we are used to finding complimentary bottled water in the room and were disappointed that there was none provided.     Overall convenient, comfortable bed, services are great including the shuttle service. Room itself was clean, Hallways need up keeping. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Poor shower design in the newly designed bathrooms, with short shower glass when taking a shower bathroom floor get wet no matter how you try. A shower curtain would have been a much better choice.

    The room & bathroom were quite small. The shower only had 1/2 a door and far side open which doesn’t work with a small bathtub. There was no fan so the entire bathroom and room was fogged up. Our air didn’t work, only a fan with warm air coming out. Lastly, the bed was super soft to the point where you get stuck when you try to roll over. Thank goodness it was only a 1 night stay!

    Disappointed for not getting connected rooms when requested after booking 2 rooms. I called the hotel reservation 5 days before the check-in, was told they put a note for the room connection request. But then when checking in and was told they didn’t have the room type for us, so we ended up getting 2 rooms apart from each other. Not fun experience.

    Yes, the room was spotless. The staff was welcoming when I arrived after 11pm. The next morning I had a delicious breakfast in their restaurant. When I was leaving they offered me a delicious hot tea for the road and wheeled my bags out to my car service. The rooms are a bit dated but the lobby was welcoming and comfortable. I will return to Courtyard.

    Room was clean but sparse, front desk staff were good. I did not like that the woman behind the food counter totally ignored me (as the guest that had booked the room) and spoke only to my Portuguese boyfriend in Spanish. Just rude. Totally ignored me. Plus it took you over 17 days to send me back the item of clothing we had forgotten there. Inefficient. Really poor standards of customer care on both fronts.

    The room was spotless, the staff were friendly, the location was great. The only issue that we encountered was shuttle service took over 1 hour to pick us up. I was told after calling the hotel because an text stayed the driver was on the way then the reply was driver didn't see us. That was not possible! If a shuttle leaves the hotel every 30 minutes to drop off at airport then there's no way we should have waited over 1 hour. Then once we arrived to the hotel, the staff stated there wasn't a staff available until 3 pm.

    Thame room was in ok condition, staff was ok as well. James the shuttle driver was the best employee attached to the hotel. I had a horrible experience with the restaurant part of the hotel. Food was not fresh, I had to go back and forth to the restaurant because things from my order were’ missing. I asked for a refund and was told I couldn’t get a refund for the food because I paid with my credit card. Just an absolute bad experience.

    The transport to and from the airport was great and the woman who checked us in was friendly and professional. She told us how to get an inexpensive train ride into the city. I would have given a better review but our room was next to the elevator and we heard people talking as they waited for or left the elevator all night long. Also, the light on one side of the nightstand didn’t work and neither did the outlets.

    Came back to a nice clean room and new sheets nightly, the staff was super welcoming and helpful, and the food that they had at their restaurant was delicious. I was also delighted that they had a shuttle taking us too and from the airport and hotel. The man who drove us was George Dallas and he was super kind. I would stay here again :)

    an exceptionally clean, comfortable room with a large shower (if you have ever experienced European showers, you understand). The minute I arrived in front of the hotel, a wonderful gentleman named Junior, greeted me and help helped me with my excessive amount of luggage. I was then quickly checked in by a lovely women named Teri. After a very comfortable nights sleep, George Dallas, the airport driver, offered me a hot cup of coffee while I was waiting for the shuttle to depart. He then delivered me to the airport, safe and sound, and helped me with my luggage. If I could give this hotel a higher rating I would. I will be staying there on any future travels through JFK. Thank you and well done.

    I stayed one night while positioning myself for a trip to Asia. It was a decent hotel. Shuttle service is easy to use and convenient and all the staff was friendly. It’s obviously a little expensive for such a basic hotel and I even got charged $5 for wifi when I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member, but to be expected for an NYC airport area hotel. I would stay here again anytime I needed to position myself again.

    I left a phone/laptop charger in room 1410 on the 20th of Oct. I spoke to the front desk about it they found it and called me back telling it would be documented in my 10/31 check in profile, it was. When I checked in on the 31st it was no where to be found. The reception was rude and aside she would talk with the manager and let know. Well, she conveniently left work. When o spoke to the manager she was barely looked for it. The. She went into a back area and never was to been seen. She never followed up with me again. This all took place very later. She also was very rude and somewhat cut me off. I found the room to be dirty and the towels to be in and snag. I will not recommend or stay in the hotel in the future

    I was using this hotel as a Sleep, Park & Fly and was charged $40 per night for parking, for an addition $220 charge, even after I had called and was told there was no fee to leave my car. Do not recommend this hotel.

    Everything was fantastic. Thank you so much to Junior who was so helpful. He greeted us out front and helped us with our valet parking and luggage. He even gave us each a voucher for drinks at the bar. We will definitely stay here again.

    The people helping me and my family were the best. James Corley helped us with our luggage and parking. He is awesome explaining different option. He so is very friendly and super helpful. Junior our ambassador, waited for us to check in, helped us with our luggage to our rooms, and served us wine. I can't say enough how Junior made us feel welcomed and respected.     The front desk staff was terrible and has a bad attitude. They put us out of the room one day earlier and did not look at our Expedia conformation. They let us go back into the room when Expedia called. Staff there are extremely terrible. I would not recommend.

    Nice large room with comfy bed, fridge and microwave, Keurig in room, free fast shuttle straight to terminal. On arrival you have to take AirTrain to Federal Circle and wait for shuttle to hotel. Staff was friendly and efficient. Main issue is elevators. There were only two and one was not in service so we waited for 20 minutes before taking the fire escape stairs down. Luckily we were only on the 3rd floor.

    I flew in with my two small kids in tow from Germany before check in time. We were exhausted and Anna saw that. She took the time to find us an available room before check in so we could rest. Believe it or not we needed it before another long 10 hour flight to Hawaii the next day. We rested all day and night until we had to depart. As we result, we were very thankful and appreciative that Ana helped us get a room before check-in.

    It was nice to have the wine and cheese and crackers in the lobby before dinner and even though your menu is small, we were able to get something to eat that was OK for us. The unfortunate thing is that is so loud in there the acoustics are poor and the music is blaring, and it really is hard to think Plus your phone call system from the airport to be picked up was really really really hard to hear who is on the line and it's also not working at the airport to pick up the phone there a room is clean, but I have to say the hallways look kind of dirty

    Good stop over for JFK flights. Shuttle drivers are probably the hardest working guys I have seen. Many passengers…tons of luggage. Great attitude. Front desk was a little slow given there was only one person checking people in when the shuttle arrived. Overall..,good experience and would stay again if needed over night near JFK

    The hotel staff were all very nice. The room was clean as well as the general area. Only misunderstanding was I thought breakfast was included and it wasn’t. Since we didn’t ’ see any restaurants in the area and we got in late, we ate dinner at the hotel. Limited menu , and like the breakfast we had the next morning, was overpriced. You are paying for the convenience. The servers were good. However, I felt they could have used more people on the shifts. They seemed to have more than their fair share of customers.

    Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, plenty of towels etc. Food served in the small restaurant was very good, Cobb Salad was excellent! Disliked: Restaurant and lobby area are a shared area and it was very cold, AC full on. Free shuttle to the airport is offered, however early morning (4:30-6:00) was a very busy time and several of us who were wanting the 4:30 shuttle were turned away and had to wait for the 5:00 am shuttle. Guests are asked to notify the front desk they will be using the shuttle and what time they will need it. Based on our experience you definitely need to provide more then one shuttle for the 4:30 and 5:00 am runs.

    The water was shut off the morning I was due to check out, so I did not have the opportunity to shower. There was all brown water and sediment in the sink and in the bathtub. If you have an early morning flight I would not recommend.

    Our flight was cancelled and we were rebooked for an evening flight. The hotel gave us a late checkout which was very helpful and appreciated after a long travel day getting to NYC.     Mattress and boxspring were AWFUL! Mattress was very soft and boxspring creaked with any movement . I barely slept and got out of bed with a backache. Carpet was dirty. Several unidentifiable items were on the floor. Though told breakfast would be served starting at 6am, there was no breakfast buffet as expected but instead a black coffee machine, packaged bakery case and a menu. Surprised it is a Mariott property. It was nothing like other Marriotts I stayed in and I would not stay in this hotel again. Receptionist seemed very familiar with hearing my complaints.

    My room was clean, quiet and comfortable, but nothing special. I realize it was in New York and very close to the airport I needed it to be, but it was kinda expensive. I did like that I was able to get a shuttle both to the hotel and the airport. I didn't use any of the amenities. Maybe if I had, I would have thought the expense was worth it.

    This hotel has a washing machine and dryer. It has a snack bar style restaurant with lots of comfortable seating. The shuttle was great and the ride to the airport was quick. I was the only one to tip our poor driver. He said that I was the only one with a conscience. Come on people. Let’s not economize by taking advantage of people.
