Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Niagara Falls

Did get to stay at this hotel due to a booking issue. Even after getting the name switched did not let me check in. Not very helpful with a solution.

The pool was small, but okay for a couple people at one time.

This hotel is wonderful. Jenn at the front desk made us feel welcomed and comfortable since the moment we walked in. We were a little nervious about the neighborhood with a boarded up house a couple of buildings away, but we did not have any issues and we walked to the falls (even at night for the fireworks). The room was very clean and comfortable. We needed elected not to have housekeeping and needed an extra towel and toilet paper which they keep right at the front desk for you to grab (which is so convenient for someone who hates to ask). The breakfast was delicious with tons of different hot and cold foods. My favorite was the Greek yogurt bar...yum. They have coffee (milk and creamer) Available 24/7. When I asked about decaf, they made sureitwas there our entire 4 night stay. We will definitely be adding Fairfield to our list of hotels to stay at.

We liked the location as it was walking distance to the falls. Breakfast was good though would have preferred some warm Indian item as there were many families from India. Daily Housekeeping would have allowed cleaner bathrooms.

Short drive to Niagara Falls State Park. Too far to walk to Niagara Falls State Park.

Waffle were great, Eggs not so great. Cheese had weird taste. Stinky Dumpster smell in parking lot.

Overall our stay at the Fairfield was very good. The staff were courteous and the facility was clean and well maintained. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. We didn't like having to pay $10 per night to park, but it wasn't a big deal. Also, the hotel is located very close to the bridge that takes visitors to the Canadian side of the falls where just about all of the activities take place. We have no complaints and do highly recommend the Fairfield Marriott.

Very friendly staff from check-in to cleaning. Only downfall for my daughter was the pool didnt open till 11am. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Not a bad hotel but upon checking in I was told that I was given an upgrade. I now had a bigger room with 2 beds! Wow and I booked a king bed. I explained to the gentleman at the front desk that I did not consider that an upgrade. He then stated that it was overbooked by the third party and then that the king rooms had not been cleaned. Hmmm. Not happy about that.

Safe, easy parking and decent breakfast

The working woman was not friendly and even though I paid a high wage, she placed me in the 3rd floor room, she didn't give me the room I wanted and there was a hot water problem

Breakfast quite good, stayed on Easter and they put Easter eggs everywhere. Very nice staff, quiet building, clean with nice rooms. Essentially as expected. Niagara Falls state park is about 5 minutes away, which was the main reason for family sightseeing trip.

Check in and out was a breeze. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I used the pool but thought it should have been warmer. My biggest problem was with the Wi-Fi. I had problems with the unsecure connection and broke my 72-day wordle streak. I was just getting close to breaking my longest streak and had to start all over again. Anyway, the shower was fine and the breakfast was good, but one of the days the scrambled eggs were cold. I will consider staying here again if I ever return to Niagara Falls.

We didn’t use the pool

The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The coffee was a nice thing to provide for guests along with a free continental breakfast.

I reserved a King Bed 2 months in advance and was advised 2 days before my stay that it was not available! When we got to the hotel and asked about that, we were told not to use a 3rd party supplier (Expedia) and that it was basically our fault! Not compensated in any way either.

Out of season stay, hotel in good location, ample parking. Breakfast ok, limited options and the use of plastic seems to undermine any sustainability credentials. Check in quick and efficient, pool small but refreshing after use of gym. Luke warm but nice. Bed was a bit soft for my liking, tired mattress methinks and the shower had no hot water on final day- shame as travelling that day and washing by flannel wasn’t what I’d hoped to be doing. Good for the price but areas to work on. Shopping nearby in Niagara. Not many food locations open this time of year.

My family and I had a very nice stay at the hotel. The kids like the pool and the breakfast was really good. The staff in the whole place is very friendly. Everyone that works there seems to be quite happy. The bed and pillows were very soft. I found it to be quiet there for me. The location was very good. I noticed I could park for free after like five or 6 o’clock on goat Island.

Great hotel. Spotless room, great check in experience. Very very clean, comfortable bed. Have stayed here on numerous occasions and it consistently excellent.

The room was very roomy. The included breakfast was good and the complimentary after hours coffee, apple cider and oatmeal cookies were much appreciated! The close proximity to the Falls and Casino was convenient as well.

The gym has limited options but a sufficient array. Property is safe, well maintained and cleaned. The breakfast is ok. The main courses are mediocre but they offer a couple healthier options and 24/7 complimentary tea and coffee bar which is very nice. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable. I would stay here again.

The staff of the breakfast bar were fabulous. Jay at the front desk was so warm and welcoming. Very much enjoyed the evening treats put out at the front desk. Location was great; quiet yet walkable. Comfortable beds and clean facilities.

We asked for a late checkout, they said we booked through Expedia, so they wouldn't even give us an extra hour. They knocked on the door at 11am, to remind us that checkout was at 11am. We were packed and ready to leave by then, but I still found it rude. This hotel won't make you feel special. No extra stars for them.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. It wasn’t very crowded. It’s within walking distance to the falls. The neighborhood around it is falling apart but that is all of Niagara. Breakfast was excellent with many options

Location.

The hotel is near the U.S. Niagara park. Price was about the same as other hotels. Charged for parking, which I thought was included in my purchase. It wasn’t however. Room cleaning was minimal at best over 8 days. Fresh towels, and bed made three times. Trash was never emptied, floor never vacuumed. Very unorganized cleaning crew. Dining was crowded, with very limited hot selections of food warmed that had been frozen. Omelets were water, bacon was normally under cooked. Coffee was very weak, even though the container said bold flavor. This hotel didn’t meet my expectations when comparing it to other stays in the same name brand. I will stay somewhere else next time.

Very good breakfast. Little bit further from the Falls than we had anticipated but quite walkable. Room large and airy.

Good property, it's at the end of rainbow blvd, but still walkable to all places. Breakfast serving staff can be little more courteous.

Loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. The hotel was super clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was impressive with something for everyone. Our room was large and comfortable. There even were cookies waiting at the front desk everytime we returned to the hotel.

Booked 3 nights here room was clean comfortable bathroom and toilet was super clean . All of the employees from the front desk the ladies that were cleaning out the rooms and the dude and lady that put out breakfast very kind polite. Would definitely visit here again . Oh yeah free parking since other places that might be about a block. Closer charge. 20$ a day even on check out day .

This is our GO TO when we are in the U.S. side of Niagara Falls. Very clean, includes a buffet breakfast and friendly staff. They will undergo upgrades throughout for 2025 and we look forward to future stays.

The hotel was great and the service was wonderful. The only issue was the area surrounding the hotel was a little sketchy. I had to got to the drug store to pick up a few things and the neighbourhood made me a little nervous. The drug store had all its products behind locked cases. The associate in the store said you should see our Walmart.

This property is an excellent new 3 star hotel property located across from the Casino. You will still need a car to get around. Good free breakfast options. Friendly staff. Clean. $10 nightly parking fee. Small pool, fitness room, laundry room

Jen who worked at the front desk was very nice and checked us in smoothly. The room smelled nice and clean. We had the king bed and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good enough.

Upon arrival Jennifer at the front desk was so welcoming and kind. The hotel has great amenities such as laundry for guests. It was also a pleasure to be able ti check out with Jennifer in the morning.

I like that we have in our room iron, hairdryer, coffee maker, microwave. It also has ice maker. We do not use pool and gym.

The rooms were very nice and clean. I was surprised the lamps and outlets didn’t have USB ports but just electric ports. So I had to search my car for a USB power box. The breakfast daily was not the best. The same items were offered all three days with nothing different. The coffee was out several times and the staff of just two just could t keep up. Kudos to them for trying though! Location was a little sketchy. Convenient for casino but other than that nothing really around.

Area: The hotel was close to attractions after going through a dirty neighborhood. Beautiful walking trails along the waterfalls and river. City is not attractive, even a little rundown. But the Canadian city is even worse. Room: The sofa in the room was very uncomfortable because the cushion was so worn-out that you feel the hard wood hurting your back badly. Breakfast: The breakfast room was very dirty (tables and floors) unless you go very early in the morning. Housekeeping: It was almost non existing! They came every 2 days to change towels, empty trash and replenish toiletries, made the bed without straightening the sheets which left us sleeping on a bumpy bed. When I asked about changing the sheets, I was told that it was done every 3rd day. It never happened! So, when I inquired again, they informed me it would be done every 7 days. I asked where they announce such housekeeping rules, she pointed at a sign on the reception desk which said nothing about housekeeping. Expedia advertised daily housekeeping and sheets on request. So, during our 7-night stay we did not get any bathroom cleaning nor new bedsheets! This is unacceptable!! I would like to address another unpleasant issue: The reception staff was not present at the reception desk. We had to ring the bell to get them. Very unprofessional! In conclusion, I must say this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I will NEVER stay at FAIRFIELD again!!!!

For 4 of the 6 days there was no internet. 1 day had the elevator down and my 75 yearvold mother had to walk 5 flights of stairs. Breakfast was free, but the same thing everyday and not on time.

Overall the hotel was very good. Close to Rianbow Bridge and NY Naigra Falls State Park. Restaurants near the hotel are touristy, expensive with aveage food quality. The free breakfast at the hotel was good, with enough variety for all. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms was clean, however no safety deposit box.

Although everything was wonderful, one of the lifts were not working which resulted in traffic.

I would only recommend that they check the cleanliness of the bathrooms, we found hair in the tub and on the floor. They also left us a roll of toilet paper that was almost finished.

Room was large and very clean with microwave, fridge and blow dryer included. Lots of counter space, drawers and closet space and shelves. Plus a convenient 5 minute drive to downtown and falls. Very close to casino as well. We would definitely stay at this property again.
