Reviews
The Red Coach Inn is a charming, historic hotel with a prime location near Niagara Falls. Guests frequently praise the helpful staff, made-to-order breakfast, and recently updated rooms. However, the lack of an elevator and issues with parking are common complaints.

- Helpful and attentive staff
- No elevator in the hotel
- Parking issues

Nice hotel with the charm of being old but the rooms are clean and spacious. Staff was helpful and friendly. Close to everything you need in Niagara.
- 5/5
Great hotel location, room, and staff! Highly recommended!
- 5/5
This hotel was much more than I expected! It was amazing and I would definitely stay there again!!!
- 3/5
Been to the Red Coach Inn a hand full of times throughout the last 5-6 years. This time it didn't live up to what we have experienced before. We were able to check in about an hour early. Once we went into room, we noticed a black marker line on one of the walls, heard lots of loud people through the walls, untrained staff, staff members missing while others trying to find them, appliances broke down, I can go on and on about things. What's sad is we've never experienced anything like this in all the times we've been there. We usually come on our wedding anniversary, and this time was no different. Kim the bartender and the blond hostess seemed to be the only ones on there a game. The young lady that checked us in was very good as well. I am hoping this was just a bad day/weekend. Things happen we will definitely be back and hope for a better experience.
- 5/5
Rooms and bed were small but really nice Don’t stay anywhere else if you are going to the falls
- 5/5
So much character and well maintained. Clean rooms, helpful staff and delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
This is the perfect place to stay if you’re going to spend a lot of time in the park! Dynamic Dinner menu & excellent service. I will stay here again!
- 5/5
The room was recently renovated and was really lovely. The food in the restaurant was great. Service through was slow from waitstaff to check in staff. The location cannot be beat. The place could really use an elevator. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
I highly recommend that hotel.
- 5/5
Very clean and accommodating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to the falls and many attractions. We would definitely visit again.
- 5/5
Charming place in great locations. Good breakfast
- 5/5
Awesome place to stay and view Niagara falls. Easy walking to state park. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Highly recommend
- 5/5
The atmosphere was old world architecture, well laid out and special. Everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent as well. We would definitely go make to stay there.
- 5/5
100 year old building, yes, needed some work on some of the outside areas. Interior was in great condition. Very warm and inviting. Parking is free. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were great.
- 5/5
Great location! GOAT island was worth the stay alone. Breakfast to order was excellent also.
- 5/5
Excelente, muy buena ubicación
- 4/5
Good location
- 5/5
We stayed in the Coventry Suite and it was beautiful, exactly like the photos. The free cooked to order complimentary breakfast was delicious, excellent coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us ideas on things to do, and best place to see the fireworks, recommended getting a bracelet for the trolley that takes you to all the attractions and is only $5 for the whole day. It came in handy. Aimee, the receptionist is THE absolute best. She's the one to talk to. She's worked there a long time and is very knowledgeable and friendly and just awesome. Our room overlooked the rapids and was across the street from the state park. The best location there was in my opinion. I will definitely be going back and staying again. I recommend this hotel 100% i wouldn't stay anywhere else
- 5/5
The Red Coach Inn is a hidden gem in an excellent location, right at the entrance to Niagara Falls State Park and close to everything. It was an easy walk to the park, the falls, and nearby attractions, and we could even see the rapids from our window. The staff was very helpful, and we loved the thoughtful extras like complimentary snacks in the room and thick towels. The restaurant was amazing, from the made-to-order breakfast to dinner and dessert. Our waitress, Julie, was incredible. The inn is older, but full of charm and character. I would absolutely stay here again.
- 4/5
Room was clean and convenient to tourist district. The free breakfast was very good. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
The location was great and staff was helpful. But the food and the was bad. For lunch, I had an omelet with potatoes. The omelet was Ok but the fried potatoes were as if they were done three days ago. Also, breakfast the next morning was of poor quality. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get our food served and when it came it was not what I had ordered. They did not have enough staff to attend all guests.
- 5/5
Plenty of old world charm throughout the building, with clean updated room. Room was well appointed with comfortable bed and jetted tub. Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker all came in handy. Only downside is the bose radio and the Samsung flat screen were a bit dated (no bluetooth or smart tv features). No USB plugs in room. Parking was convenient. Location can't be beat, steps from the falls and shopping/attractions. NY side is less built up but with plenty to see and do on OldFalls Street. Live bands, games, and food. Made to order breakfast the next morning at the hotels's restaurant was the perfect touch.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
I highly recommend staying here, it’s one of the best INNs I’ve ever stayed at. The staff are excellent and really sweet and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and great for romantic getaways. Definitely staying there again on our next visit to the falls.
- 5/5
Parking is free, but space is limited The FREE breakfast is a plus ( the menu does not change daily), but again it's FREE! The location is TOP TIER- literally within 2-3min walking distance to walking/bike trails looking over Lake Erie Rapids toward the falls. For any history buffs, Niagra Falls is the last step towards FREEDOM ( African American history that has not been mentioned, and I learned alot doing research and going to to the Harriet Tubman Museum- about 10min away) I hope to be back soon to experience this magical place again!!
- 5/5
This hotel lives up to its excellent reviews. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a larger suite than we reserved and very comfortable. Breakfasts were included in the rate. Great selection and each was delicious. The dinner menu includes a Finger Lakes Pear Salad, not usually our first choice of a salad, but we returned to have it twice. Excellent service; Julie made sure all was right.
- 5/5
the rooms were clean Centrally located, close to walking distance to almost everything you would want to do or see Food was excellent Would stay there again definitely if we ever go back
- 4/5
Breakfast comes with the room, but the restaurant is severely under staffed. One person acts as server, hostess AND front desk person! The breakfasts were just ok...the first morning I ordered the steak, eggs and potatoes....it was all cold. The next morning it was lukewarm and no one ever came around to fill my husbands coffee....so I got up, found the servers station and grabbed the coffee myself to refill his cup. The staff overall were very nice...but clearly over worked.
- 5/5
Nice rooms. Parking was included and tucked in behind the hotel
- 3/5
Rooms are entered by outside door. There’s a lot of wear and tear and what has been replaced is cheap. We stayed in Trafalgar and there was an awful smell just outside coming from downstairs. The restaurant is nice. We only had breakfast which was included and it was very good. Nice waitresses.
- 5/5
Made to order breakfast was amazing. We got a cheese tray and a mini bottle of champagne in our refrigerator om which was great. Staff although there are few are very helpful and accommodating.
- 5/5
The breakfast at the restaurant was wonderful. Service at both the hotel and the restaurant was outstanding. They made us feel welcome.
- 4.5/5
The rooms are beautiful and comfortable! So close to the falls!
- 4/5
No one cleaned the room. Staff was great. Would have been nice to have somewhere to work out
- 3/5
When providing information for this hotel, please note there is no elevator and one has to take their bags to their rooms with no help, in addition for seniors, the toilets are very low, the shower may be difficult to get in and out of and the beds are higher than the average and may be difficult to get in to. Great location though and breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
We stayed in the Essex Room, and it was perfect for us. The room included a microwave, a Keurig, and a refrigerator, which made everything very convenient. The view from the restaurant while eating was beautiful, and the hotel’s location is unbeatable.. literally right across from Niagara Falls State Park. The staff was very attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel offers parking, and once you’re there, you really don’t need to drive since everything is within walking distance. Having a restaurant on-site was also a plus. Overall, we had an amazing time. We stayed from May 1st through the 3rd for my partner’s birthday. The weather was a bit cold and rainy, but it didn’t take away from the experience. I would definitely come back just during a warmer month next time!
- 4/5
It is in a very good location, older hotel, but is well maintained. The breakfast is great.
- 5/5
I highly recommend the Red Coach Inn and will definitely book a stay there again when visiting Niagara Falls in the future. Our room was very clean and quiet. The park setting was beautiful and the staff was attentive and kind. The full breakfast that was included was tasty and the servers both mornings we were there were excellent. Very impressed!
- 5/5
Definitely a place to stay when visiting the Falls. And will come back
- 5/5
My husband and I were both satisfied with our made-to-order breaksfasts and our server was friendly and attentive. We were told 6am for breakfast, but that was not a big deal. Trip would've been perfect had it not been 20⁰ outside with a stiff wind. We plan on returning when it's warm and everything's open. My husband and I are huge Office fans, so staying here, regardless of the weather, was a must. We are planning a return for our 28th wedding anniversary. One of the best places we've ever stayed. The proximity to the falls is amazing. You can see and hear it.
- 5/5
The beds ,room and customer service where great thank you !
- 3.5/5
Great location on the American side. Walkable sites, full breakfast included. No housekeeping service. No 24 hour guest service available.
- 4/5
No complaints.
- 5/5
Very good!
- 3/5
A dirty towel left hanging in the bathroom, coffee creamer, expired and only realized that after I had poured it into my coffee. Only one glass, and one bottle of water for two people. The cord to the K cup machine was zip tied! I had to take the coffee machine into bathroom to be able use it. I highly recommend double checking a room to make sure everything is in there and all towels are cleaned up! Went to the office twice morning and late afternoon yesterday, and there was no one to assist me. my husband was also a little disappointed in the size of the room for the price we paid (my fault) also, when we booked, I thought we would be staying in Red Coach Inn, we was an annex building. They should state that in the description of the Inn. The positive was they left us a cheese platter with a small bottle of champagne. Plus, the breakfast was good. They obviously need more help because both days the waitress in the restaurant was the receptionist and cashier.
- 3/5
The staff is excellent.
- 5/5
Beautiful, spacious space with everything you need for a great trip.
- 4/5
The location was perfect - overlooking the Niagara river near the bridges to Goat Island, and 5 minutes walk to the observation tower and the falls views. The only negative would be the food in the restaurant - we found it a little odd and really not the standard we would have expected in such an impressive hotel, which was a real shame. However, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area to choose from within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel.
- 5/5
Exceptional experience, beautiful room, wonderful breakfast!
- 5/5
We parked in the private back lot next to our room which was easy and convenient.
- 5/5
Parking is super easy because they have their own lot. The one thing that may be inconvenient for some is that due to the historical nature of the building, it doesn't have any elevators.
- 5/5
Beautiful suite, amazing window views, great location and very friendly staff!
- 5/5
Nice value with great views rustic but charming building and helpful staff
- 5/5
Such a beautiful historic building. The staff is really nice and the room was top notch. We even got complimentary wine and cheese upon arrival . Also Jetted tubs are always a plus for me !! Great location too with the falls being literally across the street. Really enjoyed my stay here !!
- 5/5
Excellent Staff! Julie, Dale, Christina Beth and James were all excellent! We enjoyed our 30th Anniversary staying at the Red Coach Inn. The food was excellent too.
- 5/5
Everything was exceptional
- 5/5
The room was clean, the service amazing. Food good. They were so helpful in giving us ideas on what to do and where to go.
- 5/5
We ate dinner there and they have excellent crab cakes! Breakfast was delicious too!
- 5/5
I liked the restaurant attached, the stay includes free breakfast each morning in the restaurant ..not you typical hotel breakfast buffet..very good …a little store or vending machines for drinks and snacks would be a nice addition and added benefit for guests . Overall we had a good experience and would recommend this hotel to friends and family going to visit Niagara ..
- 5/5
Everything was excellent, especially breakfast
- 5/5
Did not have breakfast. I have stayed there before a few years ago. I really like the style etc. of the inn. Parking is a bit difficult. Both lots were full so had to park on the alley road that leads to lots.
- 5/5
Staff was courteous, room was clean. Breakfast was delish.
- 5/5
Nice room awesome fireplace and nice stay. The breakfast was good and the staff was even better. Nice view of the rapids from your room when the trees are bare.
- 3.5/5
Great location Lack of problem solving later at night
- 5/5
Clean rooms, old charm, excellent service! Everyone was warm and accommodating! We had a great time. The staff was the highlight of our stay at the Red Coach Inn and the hot tub was a survival necessity! Thanks ya'll!
- 5/5
Loved our stay. The staff were amazing and friendly. Our weekend stay was brutally cold, however we enjoyed this Inn so much we are planning to return in the summer months.
- 5/5
We stayed in the Windermere suite and it was beautiful. Had an amazing view with a fireplace and a living room area, nice and spacious and big. It was perfect because it was snowing so it was nice to relax from the cold in our room/suite!! The breakfast was very tasty every morning and we had dinner in the dining room by the fireplace absolutely gorgeous. The smell from the fireplace was amazing and the staff was exceptional, definitely will be back.
- 5/5
Location and parking Nothing it was outstanding
- 5/5
Breakfast was very good and the service was fast and very friendly.
- 4/5
breakfast was good, but I would not consider it exceptional ...
- 0.5/5
terrible everything
- 5/5
Dope
- 5/5
Extremely friendly staff when we first checked in, very friendly staff in the restaurant, also delicious food (dinner and breakfast is what we had) .. I thought the bed was so comfortable. It’s a firmer bed and the pillow I wanted to take lol I think it’s the first time in a long time I haven’t woken up with a headache. View of the rapids from our window and Niagara Falls state park is a couple mins away so it’s perfectly located. I cannot wait to come back! I love everything!
- 5/5
Pro - the inn is right next to the rapids that lead to Niagara Falls on the American side. It's hard to see in pictures, but you cross the street, and there is a path along the rapids! It is also one block away from Niagara State Park, where you can walk or take a short drive across the rapids to the visitor center and other viewpoints. You can see the edge of the Canadian Falls at Terrepin Point, and the American Falls is just a short stroll up the path. The inn itself was very clean and convenient, we enjoyed our stay very much, we especially appreciated the fireplace in our room on the chilly evening we went out walking. For breakfast the first day, my omelet came burnt and not very tasty. My husband's breakfast was ok, but not very warm. The second day, we took our breakfast to go and my omelet was piping hot, fluffy, and delicious. I don't know what happened the first day, but was glad our second breakfast was great!
- 5/5
Location, friendly service, old style decorating
- 5/5
Quiet. Very close to Falls. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of towels.
- 4/5
Great private parking lot.
- 5/5
The Nottingham Suite was lovely. It is very well appointed, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our two-night stay. We were able to see the NY rapids from this room (directly across the street). The staff were very accommodating, professional and friendly. In addition, the Red Coach Inn is located within walking distance to most attractions - and they have on-site parking. Having a made-to-order breakfast each morning was wonderful.
- 5/5
This was the perfect place to stay. Very charming and the staff was great. We loved having the cheese and wine for our welcome gift.
- 4/5
Took a cab, restaurant and bar
- 5/5
Excellent location
- 5/5
The breakfast was exceptional. The rooms are all very unique and well furnished. The best thing about the hotel was it’s location right across the street from the falls and the park.
- 5/5
Nice place. Allowed us to walk everywhere we needed to go.
- 5/5
Red Coach Inn was a lovely place to stay! It is a bed and breakfast and I like that the breakfast is in their restaurant...choose what you'd like to order for breakfast. Our unit was on the top floor with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, living room, and kitchen. Make sure you're strong enough to carry luggage to the third floor or be sure to pay for the service. We stayed here to enjoy the 4th of July and see Niagara Falls....within walking distance! The Falls were beautiful...highly recommend doing The Maid of the Mist while you're there! Walked over the Rainbow Bridge to have dinner in Canada at Prime Steakhouse for my birthday...very good!
- 5/5
Lovely classical music greeted me as I stepped into my room. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful -- the staff warm, welcoming and helpful -- and the food was delicious. I don't have a negative thing to say about my two night stay at the Red Coach Inn!
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast. Restaurant was very good great location for falls
- 5/5
Clean room and perfect temperature
- 2/5
The location is the best feature The room was dark and dated , the room overlooked a car park Breakfast was cold and disappointing
- 5/5
I love this history with this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly during our stay. The location is the best for visiting Niagara falls. We were able to walk everywhere. We also brought our bikes and rode for miles on the trail that is right outside the hotel.
- 4/5
Clean room but outdated. Nice shower. Bedding not very comfortable. Best food for breakfast and dinner! Attentive and pleasant wait staff in the restaurant. Location was best!
- 5/5
Very cozy, warm and inviting. Staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating. Room was fabulous. The restaurant was great. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay!
- 5/5
The Staff go above and beyond. The rooms and suites are very unique as well as clean and comfortable. The property has so much character. We also liked that we weren’t in the middle of the the nightlife area-but close enough to walk. This place is right by the entrance to the state park. Would stay there over any other hotel on either side of the border!
- 5/5
Real nice place. Close to everything downtown and the falls. The room was huge and cute. We loved it! Food was delicious at the restaurant.
- 5/5
We loved the quaintness of the property, classical music was playing when we entered the room, a cheese, cracker and strawberry tray was also waiting for us in the room. We loved the proximity to the rapids. The breakfast on the patio was a highlight of our vacation.
- 5/5
Everything from the staff and location! Wonderful!
- 5/5
Excellent location, beautiful room and fantastic staff!
- 4.5/5
location
- 5/5
Very convenient location only 3 to 5 minutes walk to Niagara Falls. Free parking. Breakfast was included in my booking and they serve full breakfast not just continental. Highly recommended if your visit is roaming around Niagara Falls.
- 5/5
This was a very nice, comfortable place to stay! Great location!
- 5/5
Very unique property and excellent experience
- 5/5
The Red Coach Inn is located at the perfect spot, especially for those who do not mind walking. All the viewing sites and attractions are in easy walking distance. One can walk to the Canadian side via the Rainbow Bridge in less than 30 minutes. If you get an all day pass on the “WeGo” bus system on the Canada side you can easily visit all the sites on that side. The Inn itself is an older boutique style place, so you won’t get all the glitz of newer places…but it is quiet and away from the rat race centered in the towering hotel area. The people are friendly and helpful and the chief cooked breakfast that came with the room was wonderful. We had a wonderful time.
- 5/5
Very comfortable visit and staff very friendly and accommodating with service. Highly recommend a visit as bery close to the falls. Breakfast was excellent and many options.
- 5/5
Amazing customer service! Thank you
- 5/5
Absolutely great spot, free breakfast included at the restaurant. Great location easy to walk around and explore the falls
- 5/5
Excellent and helpful staff!
- 4/5
Ok
- 4/5
The room was spacious and the pillows were amazing but the beds were the hardest thing I have ever tried to sleep on. The food at the restaurant was good and it was conveniently located by a short walk to the falls
- 5/5
Location was fantastic for the Falls. The free breakfast was 5 stars!! An actual meal not muffins & juice. Would highly re recommend!
- 3/5
It’s located in the main area, but AC was not up to the level
- 5/5
We will come back! Thank you!
- 5/5
The location was terrific and very friendly staff.
- 5/5
Cute. Parking your car right in the private parking lot in front of your room in the back. The hotel’s ambiance is awesome. They gave us a welcoming snack in the fridge. Nothing crazy but it was nice. Free breakfast at their restaurant—and it’s NOT a continental breakfast, I had steak and eggs off the menu and my fiancée had crème brûlée French toast. We sat outside on their patio which had a view of the rapids. The wait staff and the front desk, bartender, all excellent. Wine selection is not great but now I’m being a snot lol. The room itself wasn’t huge but made great use of the space. We stayed in the Traflagar room which had its British period theme and they had the Bose radio playing classical music. There were a lot of nice touches. Extremely clean and the they have a jet bathtub. The convenience is incredible, you are right next to the rapids with the falls being a 5 min walk. And you’re not in the touristy middle of town. I’ve never had the impetus to write a hotel review but I will also say I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I visit again. Perfect 10.
- 5/5
Beautiful location and near the falls
- 4/5
Proximity to Niagara Falls and wonderful breakfast.
- 5/5
Beautiful inn and restaurant. Includes a great free breakfast every morning. Best location in the area. Right across from Niagara Falls State Park.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay! Great location and easy parking. Would stay again!
- 5/5
A great stay. Historic setting. Close walk to the falls. Large, well apportioned suite and amenities.
- 5/5
Very clean and tasteful
- 4/5
It was excellent place to stay just beside the Niagara Falls in NY, USA
- 5/5
The Westminster room is outstanding. Facing personal parking spot makes it convenient to load and unload belongings. The room have lots of space, sink is separate from toilet/shower. Excellent king size bed and jacuzzi. Complimentary dish of cheese and little Martini bottle makes the reception just perfect. We will definitely come again.
- 5/5
Love the place cozy super cute and convenient when traveling with a family
- 5/5
This property is beyond a traveler's dream come true! The amenities and the staff are beyond your wildest dreams! The restaurant which is on the premises as excellent food and breakfasts are included. The breakfast is not just a mirror continental it is anything on the menu. I highly recommend this place as the location is wonderful it is a one-stop shop for Niagara Falls!
- 5/5
This hotel is quite unique. It is an older hotel but the room was very clean. They had cheese and crackers with strawberries waiting in the room. You can see the Niagara rapids from the hotel. Breakfast was complimentary.
- 5/5
This place is a gem! Great location, free parking, breakfast included with an additional sweet shop/bakery next door. Had three delicious meals at the restaurant. Staff was friendly, Room was spacious and clean, with a whirlpool tub.. Welcome snack in the fridge was a lovely surprise. Would highly recommend!
- 5/5
Cute historic hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was spacious and had nice amenities. It could have used more lights and a small table for comfort though. It had a view of the rapids which was lovely. Location was the biggest perk. You could easily walk to Goat Island and all the lookouts on the American Falls side. The restaurant was also convenient; dinner was okay but the breakfast was good. The entire hotel staff was pleasant and very accommodating.
- 1/5
Location only Staff were not friendly, rooms (reserved 2rooms) were smelly and dark. Found worms on the carpet. Don't recommend. Not worth the money.
- 5/5
This was a charming, old style establishment located as close as possible to the falls.
- 5/5
Great all the way around
- 5/5
Loved our stay there, the staff and bartender were great, food and drinks were amazing
- 5/5
We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, the Stratford and it was stunning. The 4 of us (all adults) had plenty of room and enjoyed staying together versus 2 separate hotel rooms. The suite was extremely clean and well maintained. We were on the 2nd floor and there is not an elevator. The included breakfast was phenomenal and the service was even better. The hotel is in walking distance to everything. Highly recommend this place!
- 5/5
Parking is convenient - right behind the inn. The facility was older (late 1800’s?), but nicely restored preserving its history. We chose a two bedroom suite (Cambridge) which was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Two very minor issues. First, the kitchen in the suite had cookware, plates and glasses, but no utensils. Second, and less minor, was a concern we raised with desk staff having to do with our booking, and the person we dealt with was rather rude and abrasive and initially not at all helpful. In the end we were able to sort it out to our satisfaction. Two side notes - the evening supervisor was the complete opposite. She couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Second, eat at the restaurant onsite. The food is excellent!
- 4.5/5
Close to Niagara park
- 4/5
The staff were great and always greet you with a smile. The building is spectacular and the proximity to the large Niagra Park is across the street. where you can view the falls and walk out onto Goat Island, highly recommended location. On the minus side, I was very surprised that there was no room service! No housekeeping came into clean our bathroom, remove wet towels on the floor, make your bed and vacuum, Guests were basically left to clean for themselves, but there is no toilet scrubber so you cant really scrub the toilet. However, the room was clean when we first got there. You have to fill out a form each morning and drop it off at the front desk listing supplies needed in a check list format. You leave your old linens or towels in a plastic bag out side your door and someone comes and picks them up. Again though, other than the lack of room service, it was a very nice visit. We highly recommend the restaurant on property and a full breakfast comes with the price of the room at no extra charge. Not a buffet, but a wait staff takes orders and brings them to your table. Excellent employee service cant say enough about their hospitality.
- 5/5
Very clean & comfortable. Great location!!
- 5/5
The Red Coach Inn is a unique and very pleasant place to stay In Niagara Falls. The Location is excellent, the closest place to stay to the Niagara Falls state park – right across the street, no need to drive in. It is also within a few minute walk along the river to get to Rainbow bridge for beautiful views of the Falls & Fireworks. The Red Coach Inn looks like it has been transported from England in it’s Tudor style which is extremely elegant. The Restaurant is one of the best in the area. With inside seating, enclosed patio seating and open air (with cover) seating. The staff was very welcoming and the rooms were very comfortable too. Two tips for future guests: Make reservation if you decide to eat at the Red Coach Restaurant for dinner and ask if you can request a specific table. We enjoyed our stay on the 2nd floor room, but if you have mobility issues make sure to only book rooms on the 1st floor.
- 5/5
Very unique place to stay. The room was very nice, bed was comfy with lots of pillows. We could look out our window and see the rapids and fireworks later at night. The food at the restaurant was delicious and our server, Kim was amazing, making suggestions and recommendations that were on point!!! Everyone was so nice and helpful.
- 5/5
The inn has such a unique charm and the room was beautifully decorated. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
If in the area again, we would stay here but would not eat here.
- 5/5
A classically beautiful property that is perfect for a romantic getaway. We felt so cared for by the staff and it was so easy to get where we needed to go from the location. Easily our best vacation in years!
- 4/5
Red Couch Inn exceeded our expectations, but that being said, the price of this hotel was a little steep. We were there for a family members wedding, everyone enjoyed themselves. I just wish the price of the hotel was little less pricey. Not much of a discount for military, however, the hotel was clean and presentable at all times.
- 5/5
30 minute walk to the Canada side in front of the horse shoe falls. Large rooms.
- 5/5
This was a unique property to stay at. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. There were complementary snacks, water, and wine in the fridge upon arrival. The stay also came with a free voucher for breakfast in their restaurant. There were several entrees to chose from and all were good.
- 5/5
The perfect place to stay for walking to the Maid of the Mist boat ride to the bottom of the falls. Great food and great staff. I would return to stay here all the time.

One of the best places we have ever stayed at. If you are going to visit Niagara Falls you need to stay here.

It was close to the Niagra State Park.

Loved it 10 out 10

My husband and I had a great first visit to Niagara Falls. We had dinner, drinks & breakfast (everyday) in the restaurant and the food was always good and service with a smile! I want to especially give a shout out to the front desk manager, Aimee, who was so knowledgeable and helped us navigate the area. The only downside to Red Coach Inn is all the stairs- but that’s what you get with historic places!

I liked the on-site breakfast, it was excellent.

the location and rooms are very clean

Walkable to the falls, convenient location, beautiful and clean rooms and bathroom. Breakfast options were good. Cons: Expected toothpaste and slippers for indoor usage. Prices of food in the restaurant are expensive.

The room was warm and inviting. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was luxurious. Breakfast was amazing both days and the staff was professional yet friendly. Our bathroom sink did not drain. We looked at dirty water in the sink for 3 days. I ordered the surf and turf May 18; the lobster was mushy and the steak was well done though medium rare was requested. I was disappointed.

Incredible value… best location, huge and luxurious space, restaurant and bar right downstairs, it’s everything you could ask for in a hotel next to a major attraction.

We stayed in the Coventry Suite. It was beautiful and very comfortable. Also convenient, as the Niagara Falls State Park was right across the street. Nice full breakfast included daily.

The hotel was wonderful very old English loved the room it was cozy and beautiful. The restaurant was lovely food was ok not great. The area while beautiful cuz you are in the park very short walk to the falls everything was closed very early or not opened at all.

Comfortable room and spacious. The cheese and champagne was a nice surprise. Really enjoyed the tub jacuzzi after a long flight. No variety on pillows. All 4 pillows were too fluffy.

Red Coach Inn rooms were nice and roomy and great view of Niagara river. Breakfast is fantastic and the tudor architecture is great.

We had a fabulous time in the Bristol Suite. VERY well appointed. The complete separate living room was a nice feature. I was to give a huge show out to Amy, what an amazing person! She is so knowledgeable! I would recommend The Red Coach Inn to anyone. Also the parking is perfect

Great place to stay with family. Food in the restaurant was delicious. So close to everything. Stay here when visit Niagra Falls, you wont regret it.

Older place a little rundown around the edges, but overall pretty good. Bed was too soft, but nice that they provided welcome snacks and champagne in the room. Adjacent Red Coach Restaurant food mediocre.

Great treatment by a great staff! We loved our stay and will stay again hopefully in the future!

The room was clean. Restaurant was ok. Nothing super to say about it. It is old but right conveniently located by the American side of the falls.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. I loved the style and atmosphere, but what really made this stay so wonderful was the staff at the Red Coach Inn. Every single person on the staff was incredibly helpful, courteous, and accommodating. The restaurant was fantastic and again, the staff was amazing. We had to check out at 4am for an early flight home and they made sure we didn’t leave without taking bagels and fruit for the road. I highly recommend staying here!

An amazing place. Loved the location right across the street from Niagara Falls State Park. We often commented how it felt like we were in another country…with our own apartment. The flowers were beautiful. The restaurant had excellent food and breakfast with many options was included. This will be our go to place if we are back in the area. Loved it!

So close to the falls. The restaurant on property was very good for both breakfast and dinner. Niagara State Park was right across the street. Will definitely stay here again.

This is a historic property, purposely made to feel and older than its 100 year history, and the decor certainly do justice. Unfortunately the food doesn’t. Breakfast (complementary breakfast with Suite) pancake looked like it’s straight out of a frozen box, minimally heated, the egg was horribly over cheesed on an otherwise tasteless omelette base and French toast was without the whipped cream (they ran out of it) and all in all utterly tasteless. Day 1 dinner - loved our shrimp fry (starters) otherwise the chicken Parmesan pasta and the mahi mahi (fish) entree left much to be desired. The vodka Mule cocktail tasted like blue Gatorade with a few drops of vodka in it. I would’ve just preferred blue Gatorade instead. All in all we were left quite underwhelmed with the food choices however, it’s probably just a baseline for the food scene in Niagara Falls on the USA side. Nothing really to talk about and subpar overall quality almost everywhere. Room service - NONEXISTENT ( I asked for a bottle of water at 10 PM last night and was told to come down and get it from the bar!!). They charge a $51 “service fee” for “house staff” who per protocol do NOT even show up for cleaning (in a suit!) but the hotel demands the “service fee”. But having said that, the location of the hotel is magical and worth the money.
