Reviews
The hotel has a great location, with easy access to nearby attractions. However, the cleanliness and condition of the rooms are major concerns for many guests. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but some guests have had negative experiences with reception.

Close to the convention center and not to far from the falls. The staff was great. It looked like the bathroom had mold and the whole property was pretty run down. A little far to Clifton Hill.

Beds were comfortable. Lots of water pressure in the shower

Too old

The reason for the low score is because of the door. The door only had one lock (door knob lock), also was difficult to close and secure. Got into a verbal altercation with another guest because I had to force the door shut to get it to latch and that made a lot of noise. I was worried the whole time when I went out for dinner that someone was going to get into the room. If there was also a deadbolt that guests could lock with the key, I would have not have had to worry.
- 5/5
The staff was so helpful and very kind.
- 4/5
The woman at the front desk terrific awesome very friendly nice woman 10 out of 10. Room looked in parts it was updated but there was a cigarette burn in the bed comforter. The bed wasbt very comfy to lay on. Lucky here for only a night. Nice touch fridge and microwave kind if a small tv but who goes on vacation to watch tv. The window in the bathroom you can see clearly outside if the light is off but thats not a deal breaker just add the spray foam on the glass to make it bot see through. Overall i give it a 6 out of 10.
- 4/5
Obviously they are trying to bring it up to par. Outside is shabby looking & needs a coat of paint. Would recommend. & I would stay again.

The place is very modest. I wasn’t expecting much for the price I paid. I only need a place to sleep. It was very simple but just what I needed. Everything went well and fine.

EXELENT
- 4/5
It was clean enough, had a fridge, a microwave, a working bathroom, decent bed, available parking (extra but cheap), and very walkable to scenic views & dining options
- 3/5
Corridor accessing the room was very dirty with lot of cigarette butts and smell on the way. Room was reasonably clean but could be better. OK for 1 night stay considering the price.
- 4/5
The location was convenient – about a 10–15 minute walk to the incline railway that brings you down to Niagara Falls, which made it easy to reach the attractions. The only issue was the lack of accessible outlets for charging phones and other devices. There were none available, so we had to manage creatively. Overall, it’s a simple and clean option with a good location, well suited for a short stay.
- 3/5
The inn as a whole could use some upgrades. That being said, check in was a breeze, room was simple and clean. Great value. I would stay again.
- 1/5
Overall, Very poor hotel 3rd class. Do not become fool by looking at the pictures.
- 2/5
Pet-friendly and close to food spots, and the receptionist was nice. But the place felt old and not very tidy, the door locks didn’t seem secure, and the pictures didn’t really match what it looked like in person. Still okay for a quick overnight stay.

In fairness to the owner/management, your property is very accessible to all the places around but for some noticeable reasons, you have to fix everything so that you can serve your guests without remorse. You are just lucky because you're well represented by your selling agents, but in fairness of all, please check your building for integrity, have it painted, clean your surroundings before you accept customers.
- 2/5
This property needs overall renovation, not for area of nice hotels
- 2/5
Too many cockroaches in the room (in the fridge, on bed waiting for you and everywhere in the room.
- 4/5
Not much to look at from the outside could use updating however room was clean. Hot water tap wasn't working had to take a cold shower! Internet connectivity not good.
- 2/5
Dirty , broken furniture, microwave didn't work, cigarette smel in the room.
- 4/5
The property is in a great location. It has simple rooms that were clean and neat. However, there are very few channels on the tv. It is good value for the money.
- 1/5
This property is not like the pictures please do not book we came in and the drawer was ripped off , t there was no curtain in the bathroom luckily we didn’t have kids, but there is a window in there. There was stuff spilt on the desk. The desk was falling apart there was no coffee maker no stove or sink like they show in the pictures. Try to get my money back, but they will not return call so do not book with these guys.!! I gave them $20 American they never gave me cash back and it’s only $14 US to stay for two nights . When we checked in, I went to the front desk and asked if I can borrow a washcloth and cleaning spray as it was dirty and they said no sorry we don’t have any so I had to wipe with what we had. They are scheming people. I don’t think this is fair nor do I think that should be posted on this website cause I’ve booked with Expedia for years, but Expedia can’t get a hold of the property so I can’t get a refund, but I am gonna let other people know
- 2/5
I had to pay for parking, which was not on the website, nor was it on the sign outside the hotel. The deadbolt on the door did not work, and there was no security chain. When I asked about it, she told me I would not be attacked. Really???? Place was fine for the price, but her service was horrible and ruined my experience. Tub was not working. Bed was comfortable, and room had a nice refrigerator and microwave. The location is fine. Took me 20 minutes to walk down to the Falls viewing point. Friendly locals, hang out and play music and chat, and we’re helpful with directions. The morning clerk, a friendly young man, was great. Helpful and courteous.
- 2/5
Uncomfortable beds. Terrible pillows. Could see in from the outside into the bathroom. There was a spilled soda can in the middle of the floor when we got in. Bathroom trash was full. Our power went out in the middle of the night and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Overpriced for what it is AND they charged for parking.

The staff are friendly, especially Suman, although the rooms are a bit old, they are worth the money. It's only a 10-minute walk to the falls.
- 1/5
Very dirty room. We asked the lady to change our room because of cockroach. She was nice lady and gave us a better room , but still too much dust under the bed and mold on bathroom window.
- 1/5
The rooms were not clean full of cockroaches
- 1/5
There were so many roaches. We had some tortillas that weren't in the fridge and they were all over them. They were in the bathroom, on the walls, etc. we would pick something up off the floor or move a shoe and there would be a roach underneath. This was after getting into the room with a torn privacy screen in the bathroom and a carpet in front of the door that was so torn it was a tripping hazard. Truly, I could go on and on. To ask for a 150 dollar security deposit in case of "damages" is absurd. Parking was not included either. Truly the ugliest place on earth.
- 3/5
Great room & staff. But the premise is nasty. Torn carpets, corridors. Dusty patio chairs & table. May thats why its very cheap or affordable.
- 2/5
No house keeping no room cleaning

- 2/5
Room was filled with weird smell
- 4/5
Great location, close to casino and the top of the falls. Great value for the price, all amenities, comfy but squeaky bed
- 5/5
The service was excellent — from check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly and helpful. I want to give a special mention to the staff member who greeted us at arrival — she was exceptionally kind and welcoming, which really made a great first impression. Our room was very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a budget-friendly and pleasant stay in Niagara Falls. Great value and warm hospitality!
- 1/5
Check in office looks like a place that is beyond repair it gives out smell that I didn’t encounter in my life , employee was mildly rude and not interested, no answers !! Going to our room was a walk on a floor where you could fall in with your feet luckily it’s holding together with a couple of different broken carpets that are missing some spots !! This property looks so bad from outside that it gives a felling of a drug addiction and low moral hub and it takes the word sketchy to another level!! I’m so sorry I can’t upload pictures so everyone can see dried blood and poop stains on the sheets, we saw a bug walking on a bed and pillows smelled like they where washed 12 months ago , some wired filthy grease was everywhere in the room and on the bathroom walls , you could see three different colours on the room door and on the bottom of the door there was a hole where you could see outside!! After seeing everything I mentioned above we didn’t stay there ,and ended up spending more money than we planned for a different hotel , Expedia pictures promoting this place is at least 20years old we definitely feel robbed paying for nothing we could use ….. there is absolutely not one thing to say positive about this place I would recommend everyone considering staying there to keep away if you want to save your health …….

That’s it
- 3/5
The motel (it's not a hotel) is really close to the horseshoe waterfall (15 minutes walk max). There was mold in the shower when we arrived but as soon as I told them, it was cleaned perfectly. It's not a great room, but for the price, the size of the jaccuzi (for 4 person!) and to be so close of everything it was a nice stay. The bed was comfortable.
- 1/5
The condition of the property was far below expectations. The bathtub pipe was broken, making it impossible to take a proper bath. The cleanliness was unacceptable—washroom floors were dirty, and the towels provided were clearly unwashed. The corridor resembled a garage, with hair and cigarette butts scattered throughout. The actual facilities did not match the photos shown on the website, which felt misleading. The pool area appeared neglected, filled with debris and stagnant water—more suitable for frogs than guests. I strongly advise against booking this place based on the online images or listed amenities.

Great deal ! Everything was great.

This property was such a disappointment. We reserved for 2 nights but we were not going to arrive until 330am Saturday morning. I called around 4pm Friday to let them know, and was told they close at 2am and reopen at 9am - the website does not say they close. We hoped that traffic would allow us to make up the time, but that didnt happen, so e got there Saturday morning at 10am, the carpet on the stairs was torn and dirty, ashtrays on the tables outside the doors, the pools was a swamp (literally), we get into the room and it appears clean, i check the beds (i do at every hotel) and there is caked up dog hair between the matress and boxsprings, as well as a dead bug of some sort, we immediately left. I showed the pictures to the ypung lady at the desk and she seemed very concerned, she refunded our stay and apologized.
- 1/5
Very dirtand poor service. Provider wrong picture and description what doesn’t match with real scenario.
- 2/5
It was okay for a night, but would not stay longer than that. A leg fell off one of he beds. The hotel is run down.
- 3/5
It's not a terrible place, but it's "manageable" (at best) if you're looking for a place that doesn't cost a fortune. Your eyebrows will probably raise when you first approach it, but remember the theory that "real beauty is on the inside". It wasn't spotless, but it wasn't dirty. It's pretty outdated, but everything works. It's walking distance to a handful of restaurants and the Falls are about a 10 minute walk if you take the Incline down. The staff was very nice and helpful if needed. My biggest complaint would be the bed. It had more miles on it than a 1995 Honda Accord. The springs were all out of "spring" and you pretty much slept on the box that creaked like an old floor. For no more than 2 nights, the fridge, microwave, jacuzzi, high shower pressure and lower price could be enough to get you by, but any higher expectations and you'll be disappointed. And parking is $10 per night, but I'm pretty sure every hotel charges for it, and most charged more. I would consider staying there again (for no more than 2 nights), but it would be like trying to talk myself into sleeping on my brothers couch in his tiny 1 bedroom apartment with his wife and their newborn baby living there also.
- 2/5
poor location poor staff
- 2/5
it was dirty, old and in poor repair
- 2/5
While the room itself was just okay, the floor felt sticky and poorly cleaned. The overall maintenance of the property was very bad. Outside the rooms, there were cigarette butts scattered everywhere, making the place feel dirty and uninviting. This is definitely not a place I would stay at again, and I don’t recommend it to others. It really needs major improvements in cleanliness, comfort, and service.
- 1/5
We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe. My husband literally bent over to make sure there wasn’t anyone under the bed. Front door was so unhinged and wobbly after we locked it. Ceiling tiles looked like they were gonna start falling, kitchen cabinets were covered in plywood, bathroom mirrors were so old and unclear I couldn’t see myself It smelled horrendous! Nothing like the pictures they have posted Unfortunately we were in transit and didn’t have time to move elsewhere. I have a video I recorded but unfortunately there is no place here to attach it.

Nothing like the pictures. Very rundown. Much better accommodation available close by at a better rate (I went into other motels to ask because i considered moving for my 2nd night.)

I Loved the huge Jacuzzi tub and the staff was so nice and accommodating.
- 1/5
Property looks very dingy. Going to the room, the carpets are dirty, tattered, ripped and looks very old. Upon entering the room the smells of disinfectant is soooo strong, I think to cover other smells. The bath tub is dirty and chipped. The drawers are falling off, faceplates are all chipped. The building looks delapidated, the bed is so uneven and no support at all. We fear of bed bugs as well. My daughters saw the pool and stated "it looks like a thousand frogs peed on it. "
- 5/5
I loved the hot jet jaccuci tub it was amazing I liked how there was many options to watch on tv I was how amazing the front stay was she was very friendly and welcoming she even gave us water whichwd helped. My husband alot he was very dehydrated by the time we drove there was so hot very much appreciated it would definitely go back

Uncept parking lot that they make you pay for without doing any snow removal. Gross rooms. A salt and pepper container was propping up the tv

The highlight of the room was the tub. But the price it wasn’t worth it. The film over the window in the bathroom was peeling off. Anyone could have been looking in. The bed felt like it was going to break with every move. We had to pay extra for parking even though we paid a ridiculous amount for the room and there wasn’t any spaces when we left and came back.. Although they advertised parking for just anyone still.. Perhaps they need to make sure guests have parking before selling extra spots that they don’t have. The room is in severe need of renovations, especially the bathroom. With the amount that they rent these rooms for it should be done.. They definitely make enough money
- 5/5
I stayed at the Ritz for the Convention this weekend. It was a 10 min walk and so many restaurants in the immediate area. My car was safely parked on the property and the room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you so much!
- 5/5
Staff was so nice and friendly
- 3/5
The hotel is tired. There was what appeared to be black mold in the bathroom. The film on the bathroom window had been warn away in spots which would allow someone to look into the bathroom.
- 1/5
First I was given another family’s room key, I walked in and gave everyone including myself a heart attack. I’m just lucky none of us were kidnappers or traffickers! Then was given the key to a much worse for wear room. The dresser drawers were broken and fell off when you touch them. The door looked as though it had been kicked in a few times. As well as there was a wasp infestation in the room next to me so they kept getting into my room. It’s in need of major repairs and updating. Rusty baseboard heaters and moulding in the windows and bathroom tiles. The carpet out front is ripped and disintegrated same as the ashtray’s out front each room. Mine had a giant hole in the bottom. The stairs to get up to the second floor are slippery and rusty. This could be a one off but there was also 2 very large spiders in my room as well. On the plus side the bed isn’t too bad it was actually pretty comfortable. It’s in a great location but not worth the price $260 for 2 nights plus a $200 cash deposit…. For $40 more go stay at the oaks! A million times safer!

Terrible hotel
- 5/5
Nice clean newly renovated rooms
- 4/5
Great location close to the horseshoe falls— just take Murrey street to the falls or the $3.50 trolley down. Not too close to the Niagara Falls busy entertainment streets but not far either if you like to walk. Otherwise. A few minutes (expensive) Uber. Area ~ was questionable even in the 1-2 blocks walk from the busy street. People talking loudly right outside our room in late hours .. and loud cars parking there. Otherwise a very nice stay in a very very old and outdated room. The bed was loud and old but clean (I think). Room and washroom was clean. But again very outdated, felt like a Bates Motel room. Jacuzzi was very nice though, no problem with anything in the room. Very expensive. $20 extra for late check out. Key is needed, no room card.
- 2/5
The property’s price was amazing for its location to the falls. There was two bed type bugs in our bed so take that as you will. The place was tidy though floors were actually dirty. The man running the place was very nice and somewhat helpful for area information. If my wife had of been on this trip with me and my two sons, we would have never stayed there.
- 4/5
It is located right where the quiet residential area starts but a 3 minute walk from so many attractions. Close to the falls. Quiet as well as its concrete walls and ceiling between units. It’s not designed to be beautiful on its own but it’s very efficient, great fridge, comfy bed, amazing shower pressure. Super clean.

No cold water in the bathroom, peel and stick flooring was lifting and tripped over it. The jacuzzi tub was dirty and there was dirt and dust in the corners of the room. The bed was horrible and so uncomfortable.

The only thing decent about this hotel is they allow pets, but it wiil be extra for that by the night even for a very small dog. I have stayed here before and it was much better but it appears this hotel has changed hands. There were bugs in the room. The bathtub is in desperate need of replacement (in our room it had rust on the bottom) and overall this hotel needs to be renovated. The front desk attitude is not great. On the positive side the beds were ok and the sheets were clean.

Good for the price paid.
- 4/5
I will stay there next time when I am in Niagara Falls again. I would recommend it.
- 4/5
I visited this property during the 2024 solar eclipse when Niagara Falls was sold out. This property had the integrity not to gauge its customers by not raising their rates during this time. The room was clean and when my shower didn't work, they attended to it immediately. The service was very good during check-in.
- 2/5
The condition of the hotel is old even can’t expect too much in this price but there was something scratching in or out side the ac on the wall and it was really loud, the noice stops after few tap or knock on the ac, strange
- 4/5
Parking was paid on top the stay -10$/night. Room was worth for the price.
- 2/5
It is very close to all the tourist spots but somehow this one building lot and building is the sketchiest. You're constantly checking your car and keeping your belongings safe. I walked into an noisy incident that was disturbing all the guests and the reception was rude and didnt care to handle it or ask the noisy non guests to leave. Not a place to stay, even at cost.
- 1/5
Dirty bathroom. NO HEAT. having to pay for parking when staying in the hotel is ridiculous
