Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location near Clifton Hill and Niagara Falls attractions. However, there are consistent complaints about outdated rooms, poor maintenance, and hidden fees such as parking charges. Some guests also report issues with breakfast vouchers and unhelpful staff.
- Clean rooms
- Friendly staff
- Outdated rooms and poor maintenance
- Hidden fees, especially for parking

We really liked location, parking, and staff Little things like pillows, towels, needed more drinking options for our free breakfast
- 4.5/5
It was clean and in a great location. It stated there was breakfast so I paid more but it was a paid breakfast. It was a bit loud. I could hear people talking in other rooms when I was in my room.
- 4/5
Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was excellent and we had a great view of the fireworks from our balcony!! Nothing major....but no microwave in the room and the pillows were small.
- 3/5
Great location and very convenient. The room was generally clean, and the check-in process was easy and smooth. The room let in far too much light, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The pillows were terrible and are long overdue for replacement—they were extremely high, lumpy, and uncomfortable. The pool and hot tub were quite dirty during our stay. I was also disappointed that the room did not provide even a couple of complimentary bottles of water, especially considering that coffee is offered. Having water available would have been a nice and basic amenity.
- 2/5
Location The beds creaked with every movement. Pillows are like air and offer no support

I liked the location A lot of people I noticed had the rooms outside while a select few got to be inside the actual building
- 4/5
Beautiful view close to all amenities
- 3/5
Staff were wonderful. Room was clean and large. Room was damp.
- 3/5
Close to Niagara Falls No sliders to use in the hotel room , coffee maker not working
- 3.5/5

- 4/5
Location Price is too high
- 0.5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Got 1000$ stuff stolen from my car even when I paid 20$ extra for the hotel parking space.
- 2/5
Good location, friendly staff The carpet was soaked in our room, let the front desk know and nothing was done/ offered for the inconvenience. Still hairs in the bathroom from last guest, and beds were completely worn out. Not comfortable for the amount of money
- 1.5/5
It's a good location. There was no good lighting, the room smelled damp, the carpet looked dirty, there was no microwave, my reservation description said 1 Queen bed and my room had 2 beds, there was no water to make coffee, the beds also had a musty smell.
- 0.5/5

- 4/5
Washroom needs to be renovated walls are peeling
- 3/5
Room was a handicapped unit so no where to put anything in the bathroom. No bath. Was really cold as we had a door going outside and a draft came in. Staff were great, they provided an extra blanket. Restaurant was good too. Its close to clifton Hill so in a great location.
- 1/5
The place was a dump. It has really gone downhill since last year. Nothing repaired and so dirty.
- 4/5
Room was clean and spacious however the jetted tub didn’t work
- 3/5
No breakfast wasnt paying that price, the balcony could of used some chairs , the staff was great ,the rooms could use a more deep clean
- 1/5
Room do seem clean, but wasn't at its best, towels doesn't seem clean, overall wasn't the great room. They charged us for the sleepers which we did not used, plastic wrap was so thin it got open but we left them be, but they still charged us so be careful if you don't want to use them don't touch them. Also there was some shampoo bottles mixed with water like someone just put water in it not shampoo. Overall it was not good experience
- 5/5
Everything that you need: nice views, friendly staff, pool, close to the attractions and secure parking!
- 4/5
Room was clean and as pictured. Location was great and staff were friendly. A good stay for the cost, close to everything at Clifton Hill.

- 1/5
Worsts staff no room for hospitality here. It’s deserve 1 star not 3 stars really. The staffs are untrained & rude. Better stay away. Better safe than sorry
- 4/5
Nice
- 4/5
Was good
- 5/5
Check in is always easy
- 3/5
Room in good condition. Staff were courteous. Could have done better if there is a shoe rack to contain the water/snow so it does not wet the floor.. Slippers should be complimentary in winter..They charge slipper for 5 bucks..
- 4/5
The front desk was very welcoming and helpful.
- 3/5
We booked the 2 queens room, the view was good. We able to see half view of Niagara falls. The cleanliness and facilities is just ok. The staff were good they are accommodating. We haven’t get breakfast at the Hotel but they offered a breakfast for extra cost.
- 2/5
The room was so cold for winter the heater fan was working not the actual heater came out the window is freaking cold because the curtain was too short to cover the window. The floor is dusty and the counter . Need some improvement and proper cleaning. Thanks anyways last thing the parking is not free and the slipper needs to pay unlike the other hotels I used to go in there .
- 4/5
Spacious room and good location
- 5/5
Room was.so.big I always go to that hotel as i like the service with the staff
- 2/5
I get it if it was only 1 or 2 nights but nothing for 6 days was a little crazy. Also apparently you can’t wear t shirts in the pool. My son is a bit on the bigger aside and doesn’t feel comfortable without his shirt on but that was an issue.
- 5/5
Very clean,nice pool.
- 1/5
Stayed in Room 123; The tub was gross, advertised as a hot tub, I was surprised it held water. The sink was scary. The room smelled of stale cigarettes, there were some hard pink stain's on the bed spread, and didn't have a fitted sheet. The carpet was gross, we had a little spill and when we dabbed it with a towel it was brown. The door rattled all night from the wind (although it was windy) the heater was also very loud. You honestly get what you pay for and will only stay at chains from now on.
- 1/5
Awful service Brooke toilet,broken heat
- 5/5
Good location for Clifton hill
- 5/5
Clean room. Convenient parking. Very pleasant stay
- 5/5
Clean room but room needs some Tlc and the parking lot was completely icy and no salting at all and sidewalks were not clean
- 3/5
The pool was so cold and that whole area was pretty dirty
- 3/5
ok
- 4/5
Room was clean and put together, but outdated building. Bathroom light flickered to turn on like a scary movie. However we do love the location of this stay, and the staff are always great. We were returning guests.
- 4/5
Tower rooms were a bit pricey for the convenience of having access to a microwave.
- 5/5
Clean room,staff is nice!
- 5/5
The staff was really great the reception guy was great to deal with.
- 5/5
The room is very nice and customer service was very nice with me
- 5/5
Everything fine at The Falls
- 4/5
The room was clean. Staff were great price was great and very close to Clifton Hill literally two steps away. I’ve looked in the past and I’ll book again.
- 4/5
Room was great great location
- 4/5
Clean but we had to pay 20 dolares for parking
- 3/5
I was upgraded from the double motel to a queen hotel room by the property due to jackhammering that may start at 7am. I appreciated that. The room was clean except for the black hairs in the bathroom (5 or 6) and that the jacuzzi was disabled. Serious disappointment there. Staff was nice about explaining.
- 5/5

everything is good.big room size, good amenities,Friendly staff. just a little not satisfied, the washing basin is too small

- 5/5
Room was fine, typical hotel room, nothing special, but we didnt spend much time there anyways. It was quite spacious so, that was good and the bed was comfy. Perfect location, loved the option for parking onsite. Staff were kind, good price, overall it was great for what we wanted, just a place to sleep after a long day of wine touring and bopping around Niagara nightlife for a birthday celebration.
- 5/5
The rooms were big in size, location was perfect, the staff were very accommodating. Beds were comfortable. Price was amazingly good for the stay.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing upon check in
- 4/5
Friendly desk staff
- 3/5
The sauna didn’t want. My group had to stay in the hot tub, and there was gum In the pool
- 5/5
The staff were very welcoming and polite.
- 5/5
Everything was very awesome
- 5/5
Amazing staff! Great room, nice vibes.
- 4/5
Hot tub worked excellent but little rundown cracks and extra caulking all over the place I believe it was painted. It was read before it was all white and you could see the chips that it was red before. lol
- 3/5
I advised front desk about the possible mold. they sent someone up who simply taped the wallpaper that was hanging down.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Every year me & my wife take a trip to Niagara Falls,we doing this for last 5 years & we always stay at Falls Inn .We enjoyed each & every moment it’s located very central excess to everything.
- 1/5
I was just disappointed to the fact that it was not clearly mentioned that parking and breakfast was not included. I could have got another hotel with parking and breakfast for a cheaper price. Otherwise staff and cleanliness was good.
- 5/5
I had a good stay there. I enjoyed the sauna the Jacuzzi and the pool. I had a nice big room that was good for my family. My closet was also large. My room had a Jacuzzi in the tub. The parking which is not included was reasonable for the falls. There’s a lot of stuff close by. It’s quick ride to Luckys car wash. The barrel Museum is not far away. The rooms are a little bit older, but I like having the big space I would come again. The staff was great.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Staff very courteous, bed comfortable. Pillows left a lot to be desired. Don’t feel you need to charge for parking. Very quiet, nice view from Tower room 601. Have stayed her multiple times.
- 4/5
Yes the room was spotless and the area around the pool was very clean and they gave you towels and they also have a hot tub and a sauna great location
- 5/5
Nice room and the place is a walking distance to all the popular places.
- 5/5
Room is good price good view. Could use abit of an update. Tv very small and closet door broken and no backing on remote control. But we were only in room to sleep. So it was good enough.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
The staff was excellent and the room was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this to everyone
- 5/5
We love staying here. Our go to place in the falls.
- 1/5
The staff was super rude. She gave us so much attitude and we didn’t even end up staying there because she did not allow us and she didn’t want to give us a refund.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff were attentive and helped make our stay excellent. We will for sure stay again.
- 4/5
Nice clean room, excellent staff at reception.
- 5/5
Yes as always.. best place to stay!!
- 4/5
Things were nice and clean, everyone was nice.
- 5/5
Detectives notice before going the pool would be closed during our stay for routine maintenance. That was nice to get ahead of time. It ended up getting done while we were there. Not our first time at the Falls Inn- didn’t disappoint. Clean, friendly staff and location is good too.
- 5/5
Room was clean, beds were comfy. Staff was very friendly. Great place for the price
- 4/5
The location was great, room was ok but would have being nice to have a tv on the sitting area.
- 5/5
Lovely view
- 5/5
Staff friendly, close to Clifton hill and everything else.
- 5/5
Great service
- 1/5
The room I originally booked did not look like the photos. And also smelled like pee and cigarettes . I had to rebook a room and they charged me $30 extra change the room and the room that I had was dirty. Paint was peeling off the walls. The beds were creaking. The bed didn’t even have bedsheets. The tub had rust in it.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
A very nice room with a view.
- 4/5
Didn't have breakfast
- 3/5
Requested ground level was up 2 flights of stairs,😞 had underground parking my car got broken into. Walls are thin heard people below us all night longunderground p
- 3/5
The property was extremely noisy as the rooms next door had a huge party. We asked the staff to move us to a new room due to the noise complaint but they refused to help unless I paid an “upgrade” fee. Overall, not at all satisfied with my stay or the staff.
- 3/5
The hotel needs to be updated. our rooms were not fully cleaned. the pull out bed sheets had crumbs in it.
- 4/5
.
- 4/5
Wish the bed and pillow are firmer and not too springy
- 2/5
When I mentioned the mold, they dropped the price of the building suites. The suites shower did not work, neither did the heating. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
- 5/5
Needs renovation
- 2/5
In the shower there was no hot water in the , and very low water pressure, and the regulator handle is very lose, after maintenance made repair we had hot water a better water pressure but regulator handle still very lose, is hard to regulate water temperature, there is mold and mildew in shower and paint is peeling from sealing around the vent fan, i chose the room that had a view of the tower but the tower that they meant is of their motel tower in rear of building and parking lot, the employees are fine but rooms need to be renovated completely.
- 3/5
Reported that no hot water in shower, could not regulate water, very low water pressure in shower, regulator handle very lose, had maintenance fix, after repair we had hot water and better water pressure, but regulator handle still very lose, there is mold and mildew in shower, and paint peeling from sealing around exhaust fan, i picked the room that mentioned a tower view, but it was a view of of motel tower and parking lot, and the tourist tax for breakfast is ridiculously stupid. Employees were fine rooms need to be renovated completely.
- 5/5
GK at the front desk was friendly and very helpful!
- 5/5
It’s close to everything. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and the sauna. Staff are great.
- 4/5
The chairs were not that great
- 2/5
Very disappointed 🙁 no carpet in the room and I chose the window room to take beautiful pictures but the window was not cleaned and I cannot take a picture at all very disappointed 🙁 and on top of that while checking the front desk staff was so rude and no smile on the face and weren't willing to say again about the unclear direction for parking and when my husband ask her to say again she gave him a mean look. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I will remove this hotel from my search list also. Sadly but very bad experience.
- 5/5
It was clean and was near the strip and the casino
- 5/5
Bed was very comfortable. Had a great night's sleep
- 4/5
The location is awesome, close to everything
- 4/5
We have stayed here a few times now and never had any issues.
- 1/5
Chexk in lady rude
- 5/5
We were upgraded to a suite with a window.
- 3/5
Convenient, close to everything. Good staff.
- 4/5
It was an overall nice place to stay. Clean and quiet. Near nice places to eat. My only small dislikes were the small lumpy foam pillows, only one chair to sit on and not great cable channel choices.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
I was with two people using WCs. Everytime I came in amd out, they'd turn off the button for the WC accessible door. Making it hard to get it. I would gester to them, turn it on and the door wiuod open. Then I'd cone back, press the button, and they'd turn it off. I found this very annoying.
- 2/5
The room was big, but the wall paper was peeling, paint chipping off, the dressers had wood peeling off and looked lile they should have been in the garage, the chair was torn up and ripped so bad it should also have been in the garbage. We didnt use the pool because it was cloudy. They had a unreasonable parking charge. I would not recommend unless you like getting scammed and garbage furniture. I guess you pay for convenience of location
- 3/5
Room was overpriced but was a Saturday and booked lasy minute. Close to everything. It was fine place to crash at
- 4/5
Very convenient and clean.
- 1/5
Charged me for dirty linin
- 4/5
I always have a great time at this hotel. Always the friendliest staff and patrons. 2 minute walk to Clifton hill and about 10 minutes to bird kingdom
- 5/5
Excellent location, room is huge and price was right ✅️ 👍
- 5/5
Clean and nice staff. Very good location and close to main attractions. The only downfall is the parking fee. 20$ per night is a bit unrealistic but besides that everything else was good.
- 4/5
Overall was great. Pillows are lumpy pieces of foam very uncomfortable. Great location.
- 5/5
We got the room we always get which we like and is super convenient for us since we drive. the front desk reps are always so welcoming and friendly.
- 5/5
Convenient location for everything, room nice and clean
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
Clean room, very spacious, and so close to Clifton hill! Upon arrival we were surprised with a free upgrade
- 4/5
Great room clean
- 5/5
We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The wonderful location makes everything convenient. The services are quite good.
- 5/5
Great location. Food, attractions, falls all within walking distance. Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Hotel is located very close to Clifton Hill and is great for families. The room had a balcony and was perfect for watching the fireworks. The room itself has peeling paint and broken furniture but was very clean.
- 3/5
Outdated
- 5/5
Our room was upgraded which was an added bonus.
- 1/5
I don't know how there aren't more bad reviews. The "new" tower was built in the early 2000s and the only things that have even been updated are the floors and door locks. The bathroom is old, dirty and moldy. The paint is old, the jets in the tub are moldy and there is a vent in the ceiling that is visibly caked with dirt and mold. They are literally hiding health hazards and Tanya got annoyed that I didn't try to get help like changing rooms or someone coming to actually wipe the dust off of the surfaces.. but just like the minor cosmetic "renovation" they did didn't fix the issues of the old gross building. Definitely not worth the money except the view of the fireworks for 5 minutes. Even the pillows & beds were over 2 decades old which you'd think would be an automatic reno. Especially if you have sensitivities to mold, dust and old buildings, DON'T STAY HERE. Even after everything that was wrong & promising to waive the fee, the guy at the front desk also charged me $16 for checking out at 11:56 instead of 11:30.
- 1/5
The room I purchased online looked nothing like the room they gave me The curtains were ripped, the carpets were extremely nasty and stained. When I mentioned it to the hotel staff they were not empathetic at all.
- 2/5
The location is good. The motel portion is dated, falling apart and dirty
- 4/5
Good location, very helpful employees
- 5/5
Hotel was great ! Exceeded all expectations. But the true star was Sharon ! She was so helpful and accommodating, and most importantly she was super friendly! Shout outs to sharon ! I definitely will be coming back , thank you!
- 4/5
Would definitely go back
- 1/5
Our stay was very disappointing. The family room was not worth the price over $600 for 2 nights. room was dirty, and we found bugs and ants, dusty walls, and no mirror we managed to cleaned it up ourselves because we don't have any choice and they wont issue refund. The room was dark, the curtain was ripped, and only a few towels were provided. The air conditioner was extremely loud, making it difficult to rest. Overall, this was not the experience we expected from a hotel located in one of the most popular places in Canada.
- 3/5
The room / building/ lobby was not the same as the pictures shown on website. Walls were dirty and a bit damaged . There was no vanity in the washroom. No iron/table accessible had to call front desk. Staff was friendly but I wouldn’t stay there again . Disappointing
- 4/5
Convenient location for the area
- 3/5
When I booked, the website showed free parking, but I was charged $20. It also advertised complimentary breakfast, which was not provided. On top of that, the place was too noisy, making the stay uncomfortable.
- 4/5
The property was very close and walkable to everything The breakfast at the restaurant was reasonably priced and varied. Our room was very spacious and clean the mattresses were a bit lumpy and pillows need to be replaced That being said we would still stay here again but next time I would ask for a room with better mattresses
- 4/5
Perfect location to Clifton hill and the staff are amazing!
- 3/5
This property is very convenient to Clifton Hill and the casino but it is in desperate need of in depth cleaning and maintenance. Holes in the wall from the door being swung open, the carpet is all stained and only vacuumed in the main traffic area. The tub doesn't have any wood under it so when you stand in the shower the bottom of the tub moves, you feel like you could go through to the next level. I will never stay here again
- 5/5
Nice area very convenient to all the attractions!
- 5/5
I’ll comeback every summer us do convenient location close to allattractions
- 5/5
We were happy tobe upgraded from one of the 'motel' units to the seventh flooor. Great view of fireworks.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
Felt like a bait and switch. Showed the beautiful hotel and amazing rooms online. However, we were put in a little old motel building that was falling apart. No elevator, only stairs. Very noisy and dirty rundown room. Booked online.
- 4/5
Great location to Clifton Hill, and the Falls.
- 3/5
...
- 1/5
I was charged an undisclosed fee that wasnt in the booking terms. These people are scammers
- 5/5
Perfect spot to be surrounded by all the areas you want to visit
- 5/5
Very nice and comfortable and service was excellent
- 4/5
Parking should have been included with the booking and 20$ parking was too much.. at $10 it would be a bit reasonable... stayed at different inns or hotels near cliffton hill n parking was either free when booked or around 10$... 20$ a day parking for a client stayed on your property is not really pleasing
- 5/5
It was near all the attractions
- 2/5
Nothing was good. the room was dirty floors were filthy the sink was cracked in the bathroom, the paint was coming off the closet doors the pillows were filthy
- 5/5
We had a great stay. It was right around the corner from the falls and cliffton hill. The hotel summing pool was nice too my kids love it and the hot tub. We will stay here again.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay at The falls Hotel. Room was clean, the girl at the front desk that checked us in was very friendly, and it was a short walk to Cliffton Hills. The only con for us was that the pool was drained, our kids were really looking forward to swimming.
- 2/5
The pool water was cloudy and murky-definitely ended to be treated.
- 1/5
Stayed here for two nights. The fridge was broken. The phone didn’t work in the room was told if I needed a different room I’d have to pay for an upgrade. also put slippers in the room that they charge you five dollars for. there’s barely any outlets the TV constantly flashes out unless you connect through something of your own.
- 5/5
Great view!
- 1/5
Will never be back or recommend to anyone! Was not worth the price paid.
- 3/5
Every time I book every year the pool and hot tub and sauna are always shut down. I book specifically for them and the walkable distance to the Clifton hill.
- 4/5
Pool was drained and iut of service. When asking for a pitcher of water it was not provided.
- 4/5
The staff were good, the pool was closed. But enjoyed the stay
- 4/5
It was good stay with family.
- 4/5
It was very pleasant and very convenient to walk about
- 4/5
Spacious rooms. Accessibility to restaurant.
- 2/5
Cleanliness - very bad, the smell of the carpet is terrible.
- 4/5
Very convenient location
- 1/5
Scam
- 2/5
This is a below-average hotel for the price point, and I found the condition of the room to be extremely disappointing. There was a mildewy, wet, chemically smell in all the rooms that I tried. The bathrooms were beyond dated and more like what you'd find in a dingy apartment. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows were these strange micro-pillows. For an extra $50 or $75, I'll be staying in a real hotel next time. I give the staff credit for trying to find a work around to make me comfortable for the night, but it was a miserable night.
- 4/5
Overall a very nice Hotel every one is so nice
- 2/5
Stationnement 20$
- 5/5
We had 2 rooms at the motel section. Room and was clean but smelled humid. Bathroom was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable. Very good value for the location, you are a 3 minute walk from all the action.
- 5/5
It is very conveniently close to the casino and all the attraction. The cleanliness however, is not the greatest
- 4/5
Nice pool, spa and sauna, everything work great but pool a little to cold. And open at 9am. Would be nice open around 7am
- 5/5
Excellent service ! Highly recommend
- 3/5
The pool is extremely dirty. It was so murky you could not see when swimming in it. My son had toys he would throw and then find them in the pool. It was very hard to find them as the water was dirty.
- 4/5
Very pleasant staff was very helpful and kind
- 4/5
the hotel was in a convenient area for a really good price. parking is on site which is also very nice. staff are polite and very helpful
- 5/5
Was a good surprise seriously nice hotel and awesome staff for sure I will return
- 3/5
I lost my dad got a car accident. Very not care about human. Just money is the thing for that hotel. I offer to pay to stay at the pool or in the hotel. Not good for accommodation that hotel . Dont ask fever cause you not welcome.
- 3/5
I won't stay next time mattress were terrible very uncomfortable
- 5/5
The staff are friendly. Close to everything easy access to everything. The location very wuite and safe. Highly recommended.
- 3/5
Room was clean and adequate. Housekeeping did a good job. Hotel is located in a great spot within walking distance of Clifton Hill with all the major attractions. Breakfast at the on property restaurant was very nice. Check.out was easy and the guys at the front desk were nice.
- 5/5
Walking distance to all attractions.
- 3/5
Staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is quite outdated ,what you see when you’re booking is not what you get,the shower is very small with broken tiles, the shower curtain on it is dirty, not very appealing. The tub could use some repairs and I will not even think of using it.The best features of this hotel are the proximity to the entertainment centre and the falls.Very expensive for what you get
- 1/5
Flies flying inside the room.. carpet smell molds.. small car is not priority.. staff has attitude.
- 4/5
easy access to the falls and clifton hill
- 5/5
Staff were friendly, and very helpful. The restaurant had great food. Prices for the room and restaurant were fair. Would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, convenient to Clifton Hill which is what we were looking for. The area it is in could use some upgrades but it is in the middle of the restaurants, carnival games and rides, etc. of Clifton HIll so that is to be expected. The hotel had a place to eat but we did not go there. There are a multitude of dining options in the area and we had a hard time choosing which place to eat with so many options. Perfect for a group or family as you can satisfy everyone without having to go far. The hotel was quiet and clean and we enjoyed our balcony where we could sit and watch the fireworks every night at 10 pm sharp. Definitely worth having that room. The only issue we had was a squeaky bed. One bed was fine, the other bed made a very large "krinkle sound" any time you sat on it and when you laid down and tried to move, it was extremely loud. It was as if you were lying on large wads of crinkled tissue paper because it would crackle and squeak with every movement. Luckily we were tired enough to fall asleep before the person in that bed moved at all. They had to stay really still for a long time. The other rooms we had did not have an issue at all.
- 2/5
Needs renovation…water damage…dated
- 3/5
