We went to the property. It was VERY dirty. Trash everywhere. Not as depicted. Then we went in and showed them our reservation. They said they did not take internet reservations. We were forced to find another hotel immediately. I’m glad I didn’t pay for this in advance. Staff rude.

I'm very disappointed by this service. I reach the hotel at 1.30 am and they told me the reservation was cancelled. I didn't receive any prior cancellation email from the hotel or neither Expedia. I did sent an txt inforrming i would check in later. But from their side they never received. Cancelling my booking and leaving me in the road as ll the rooms were full.

My booking was cancelled without our commitment. Expedia has to refund back to us because we could not stay in that hotel. I will reach out the customer service asap. Inan Korkmaz

This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever experienced. The pictures on hotels.com are not what youre getting. The room smelt like freshly smoked cigarettes and illegal activities. The window, which was street level, was kept open to air out the smell, but that caused bugs to be flying in. In addition, the room had clearly not been cleaned - there was dust and cobwebs all over the room. It was also held together by duct tape and the base boards were falling apart. We checked out right away and have been having an impossible time to get a refund. Do not believe the images on this site - please see the attached images to get the reality of what this 'establishment' looks like. I wish there was a way to properly convey the smell.

Stayed here before Covid and the pool was operational and it was quite nice… not sure what happened but the pool was not operational and the room was run down, tv hardly ever worked. Maybe they had a tough time during Covid and I truly hope they can turn it around and get the place back on track because it has potential.

We feel very mislead by the pictures posted on Expedia. This property is scary, unsafe, dirty and the rooms are falling apart. The sink in the bathroom was held up by a 2x4. And upon check in the reservation had been cancelled even though I had the confirmation in my hand. They also wanted cash. We ultimately left and went somewhere else.

There were activities going on which were not to have a family around. Overall serup looked filthy

Everything was so very clean and when my wife and i was so very happy how we were taken care of right away,.Our room was so very clean and nice and neet,.

There was no toilet paper, had to go ask for some since there's no service telephone in the room. The tv/Roku didn't work , took them 3 hrs to fix but they gave us an antenna. Check in was 2pm and when we got there they said our room wasn't ready and told us to come back in an hour. Came back and had to wait another twenty mins waiting for the manager to show up to check us in. Only gave us two towels, no toiletries at all, blood on the walls in the bathroom and blood on the floor, I took pictures. Furniture looked as though they acquired it at a yard sale. The microwave had dust,dirt and bugs on top of it. Will never go back. Don't go there!!

There are just flies on summer time but the place was really convenient and accessible. The price is worth the stay. 💕

Called me 3 times before even showing up to ask when I would arrive, when I finally did they put us in a different room than we booked (called it a upgrade) because they hadn’t cleaned the room we were supposed to get yet, there was no amenities (like soap or toilet paper) the room was dirty (stains on the bed sheets and walls, floors were not that clean and looks like they never move anything to clean around stuff) all lights sockets have no cover on them and are exposed, seems like it’s half hotel half apartments, no smoke alarms and everything seems to be half assed, will say the one guy we dealt with was polite

This is our fourth time at the OYO Niagara Falls. The staff is always very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable great place to stay. near Clifton Hill!

The picture online did not match what we got. Around the hot tub there was mold, our sheets had stains on them that we had no idea what they were, it was uncomfortable to lay on the bed because of this. There was also a homeless guy that was asleep in front of our door. That was really uncomfortable.

The area is shady, the rooms are crusty and gross and unsanitary and honestly just crap overall.

As soon as we entered the room the picture fell off the wall, toilet would not flush unless you took off the back of the toilet! Dead bolt did not work! And mold in the bathroom around taps.

The washroom looked dirty, the tiles had mold on it, the room did not look like it has seen a mop in a while, the fridge was not working.

We called to confirm our stay on the day of arrival but then hours later had a call back cancelling us because they had overbooked.

It felt like a family run business, although a very diverse family. The staff were very friendly and accommodating in spite of minor language barriers. I would definitely stay there again.

$10 for parking

We booked 2 rooms at this property by looking at the pictures posted on the website however as soon as we entered in to the rooms, it was terrible. The cheap quality mattress placed on just boards, dirty blankets and what not. Washrooms were so dirty that you won't feel like using it . This is my first time leaving a review on any site as I don't want people to experience what we felt. Please think twice before booking this place

The bed was ok and it was just a place to sleep. Lots of work needed here. Nothing like it shows in the pictures. Smelled of smoke...very little lighting..cracked toilet seat...dirty walls ...noisy whenever anyone uses plumbing.

You get what you pay for at this property. Nothing special but it’s a great location. The bed was clean and fairly comfortable. Exactly as pictured. Heart shaped jacuzzi that worked well and was clean. Some mold on the wall behind the toilet which should be addressed but didn’t affect anything. Set your bar low and enjoy the location and your sleep.

My recent stay was a letdown - didn't have huge expectations coming in, but it was even worse than I had imagined. The front desk area was a mess - cluttered and with visible staff sleeping quarters. Even our parking pass was stamped on a cigarette carton. Upon entering the room, we were met with a strong smell of cigarettes. We then asked for a non-smoking room due to the strong smell, but were told the hotel was fully booked and given a bottle of air freshener. The room itself was old and dirty. Broken windows, a stained tub, and a mattress with its plastic cover still on were just some of the issues - and this was one of their 'nice' rooms. Bonus - there were 2 TVs, but only one of them worked. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won't be coming back.

I didn't like the fact that we found bed bugs in the beds an in the rooms and they would only reimburse me for one day for one room

We had to keep a piece of our belonging in order to feel safe that the window might not open if someone tries to. If I had the option I would get a full refund for the terrible conditions of the hotel as well as the room. They also charged for the parking which was supposed to be part of the deal when I booked the hotel

Great hotel location, easily to walk to Falls & other tourist attractions. Hotel Clerk was very nice.

Prior to arriving we received two phone calls asking when we would be there, which was our first red flag and very odd. Upon arrival, they make you pay immediately and tell you after it is processed that there are no refunds and then tell you to pay an additional $150.00 cash deposit. When going to our room it was apparent the place is completely run down. There was also a lot of sketchy people, drunk and high, just sitting outside of their rooms staying there which made us feel unsafe. The photos online are NOT of this place. Upon entering our room which had cracked chairs and dirty walls, we immediately checked the bed and found bed bugs. Checked out 5 minutes after arriving and had to show them photo proof of the bed bugs as well as them going to the room themselves to check that we werent making it up. He mentioned they had "sprayed for them" so it was clear they knew they had a bed bug problem. We were then granted a refund and had to find another hotel to stay in.

I would never stay at this place again. Tiles were kicked in around bathtub. Water stains in bathroom ceiling. Only one lock worked. If you have to leave early you are unable to get your deposit back. Place is a dump. Expedia should look at this property and take it off any lists they have. I have no good recommendation for this place except it is close to the falls.

Room was absolutely disgusting 530$ for two nights and I had to wear my shoes when I got out of the shower. The only clean thing was the bed sheets which I will say was nice. The room was definitely not cleaned in quite some time. The walls were dripping in grime. The bathroom floor was gross and the tile in the shower was falling apart. The front door looked as if it was broken into a few times and didn’t close without slamming it. The light bulbs in the lamps were duct taped in place as the fixtures were broken. Upon walking into the room it smelled of mold. But hey at least I didn’t get bugs!

The room was filthy to the point it was totally uncomfortable. We did not want to sit on the chairs because of the unbearable filthiness!! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!! It is disgusting

The window in our room had a gap between the plexiglas and the glass window so you could reach in between the windows and pull the window out. Could not lock the door.Lock broken. Beds were clean but old blankets on top. Would not recommend this hotel.

The pictures are not true to the property. I felt unsafe the rooms were dirty and they smelled of smoke. This property should not be allowed to advertise in this manner.

We had a leak under our bathroom sink (that i didnt even notice until our last day, so wasnt a big deal for us). There was a limited amount of electrical plugs in the room (1 behind a bed and one that ran several things through a power bar, and one in the bathroom) We were given one less towel and pillow than needed but that was promtly fixed by asking front desk for more . The location was great, very close to clifton hill and a short walk to other amenities. Pool was clean and open. I called ahead to make sure we would have access to a microwave in the room and that wasnt a problem. The room was fairly clean, no bugs or anything weird. Just an old motel that could use some updates but if youre looking for a cheaper stay as close as you can to the strip then this place was good. Staff was friendly and helpful and we had a great time. You get what you pay for and this place is no luxery suite, but its a safe place to lay your head.

Good price but facilities quite worn

Upon entering the parking lot you feel unsafe, this is a very sketchy place. We decided to give it a chance and check in, collect our keys, pay an additional $30 for parking and check out the room. Big mistake. I wouldn’t let a rat stay here, unsanitary, unsafe, unclean, damaged….just disgusting. I have no idea how this place is in operation. This establishment needs to be investigated.

The pictures and advertising were the complete opposite of what was given. Blood on walls, no phone, no microwave, window air unit was small and you could see through the boards holding it in place, hairs/dried snot on the bedding, 1 pillow per bed, green pool in July, bugs (possible bed bugs), charged extra when we arrived, wanted us to agree to give a positive review to save 10 CAD a day to park, 1 small bar of soap was offered, walls were all extremely dirty, office is closed 1am to 11am, they rent by the hour, rude people who service the rooms, and if i could post picture i would. Picture tell the facts. Oh the tub was full of water and made taking a shower like standing on a waterbed as water somehow got between the lining of the inside of the sides and bottom of the tub.

This is now called the oyo hotel. The place is filthy, mold in the tubs, carpet was sticky. My son and i woke up covered in bug bites. Our room had no lighting except for an overhead near the bathroom so they put a long extension cord and plugged in two hideous table lamps side by side on the floor. When we left in the morning, a pair of homeless people had blocked the passage to get down the stairs with bicycles and their bags, and were sleeping in the bottom stairwell.

Tv didn’t work, fridge didn’t close, microwave door was cracked and clearly unsafe, radiator in bathroom held up with duct tape, holes in the walls, no face cloth’s. Staff was friendly, air conditioning worked, free parking.

Beds were like sleeping on springs. They try to fix it with a thick duvay blanket. The owners were nice and did there best.

Staff was ok but what can they do. Fridge leaked water. Washbasin was broken. It felt too cheap.

Room stank of urine. Double not queen. Room didnt look anything like the pictures on line. Broken tub trim safety hazard. Lamp cord severed safety hazard. Enamel job on the whirlpool tub done by crackhead. Old cheap mattress. Very small fridge barely working. All windows and door show evidence of attempted break-ins.

Everything in the room is so dirty. Blood and lots of hairs at the bed sheets and at the floor. Lots of mosquitos and dust on the floor. Asked to changed rooms, but same thing. Everything is so dirty. Asked to changed the bed sheets and the dirty towels, but still the same.

They only left us two pillows for 2 bouble beds and 4 people. Also, only left 2 towles. no hand towles or face cloths. No shampoos, soaps etc... No toilet paper. windows let in a LOT of humidity.. A/c didnt really work. Cleanliness didnt exist. Opened the bathroon door to a village of fruit flies. Lots of very sketchy people renting here...hookers, drug dealers, mental helath was lacking in many of the residents that stayed here. Didnt feel very safe. Lock on the door barely worked. Once arrived they tried to add on extra charges for this and that. Would not recommend this place especially if you have children.

Staff was super hospital and quick! We arrived earlier than what we thought we would and the staff let us park early while we explored Clifton Hill and the falls. Great location for walking down the Clifton hills strip and to the falls.

This place was not cleaned properly i had to go ask for toilet paper and had to get a cleaning lady to come clean as there must have been an animal in the room from previous stays of others. Animal hair all over. The room had an basty smell like musty smell. Just over all would never ever stay here again

Cozy & nice motel in the heart of Niagara Falls. Minutes of walk from ALL the attractions. Enjoyed nice outdoors pool. Host Jack was the kindest and most carying for our comfort & well-being.

They smoke in the rooms, and I saw bedbugs on the bed. Smelly carpet. Pool water was disgusting. Worst experience ever.

Now about the cleanliness, there were houseflies in the room. Washroom floor and the bath tub was having hair. The blanket was smelly. There were no tissue paper in the room.

Reception took multiple phone calls while checking me in and in the confusion wanted to charge me for 5 nights as that was one of the phone calls' requests and argued with me when I said only 1 night.

It is a motel, rooms are not maintained, and what comes with it is one soap and 2 towels. No shampoo no tissue no hair dryer.

The people were so friendly!! The outside looks a little rough, but the inside of the rooms were pretty good. Its only a 5 minute walk to the main strip but its quiet enough that you arent gonna be disturbed from everything. They have wifi and netflix on the smart tvs in the rooms. They do offer a lifetime membership for $20CAD. Overall it was pretty good and will be staying again.

I was called at 6:00pm to confirmy reservation and informed the agent I would be arriving at 8pm. When I pulled up at 8:15 I was told they had no rooms. I found this weird because I had confirmed two hours prior. As I was being told this someone else came to the desk to inform them he wouldn't be staying there as when he checked in the room wasn't cleaned and there were dirty rags in the jacuzzi and garbage still in the room n that only the bed was made. So as he's cancelling and getting refunded they try to give me his room. Which wasn't the room I reserved (it was worse) for the same price as the dbl queen with Jacuzzi. By this point I was irate at the blatant disrespect and disregard of my reservation. They wanted 225 for the room. I went to the Oakes hotel which was less money for a beautiful room and great amenities. I would suggest nobody book here as they don't care about anything other than money. Expedia shouldn't be working with companies like this. Not too mention the drunk dudes screaming and walking around in thongs.

hey had an outdoor pool, which our children would like it, inside had smart tv , snacks machine micro wave cleaned close anywhere, just old fashion,staff are friendly helpful overall i can say we take it , with friendly prices ,its ok

Stay was good

The room was dirty .the doors were like never been cleaned the bathtub had a leak that was probably over 5 years and hadn't been fixed or cleaned and did not sleep all night .the air-condition was louder than a plane had toshut off. In general we were very disappointed with the whole experience. Never going to one of your establishment again.out of 10 i would give a minus 10 horrible experience

This is the most horror movie hotel experience I have had The room stunk like I don’t know what exactky - death and stale cigarettes? The beds were from the 70s and were squishy to even sit on. My chiropractor is going to love the many sessions. The paint was peeling off the wall- I expected Jason Vorhees to knock on the door or come crashing through the adjoining room door with a blanket stuffed under it any second. Front desk guy was really nice though.

This property should not be on Hotels.com inventory. See attached photos. This room is a fire hazard and in very advanced state of disrepair.

I have booked a 2 double bed but they give me a king bed mentioned they haven’t got the right info from Expedia.. no coffee as they promise.. Lot of Rats around.. except location and streaming services in smart Tv nothing pleasing .. Stayaway from this place

Not clean

The building is very old. To say the least, the room is nothing like the picture shown as advertised; only 2 bath towels provided, no face cloth or any other towels; no shampoo or conditioner provided, but one small bar soap for the 2 night stay. There are 3 chairs in the room, one is broken, one has no spring and can't be sit on.

too old the beds, the principal bedroom door was broken, the curtains were broken and falls on the floor, the stars´ carpet too dirty, all damaged. The building needs maintenance, I think that the hotel isn´t for family stay, is too old and dirty. Sorry

Pictures are way nicer than what you actually get. Staff is super friendly. Needs updating. Not worth $200 a night.
