Reviews
The hotel is praised for its prime location, with guests frequently mentioning its proximity to attractions, restaurants, and the falls. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful. However, the hotel's age and cleanliness are recurring issues, with some guests expressing dissatisfaction with outdated rooms, maintenance issues, and varying levels of cleanliness. Noise from other guests and the surrounding area is also a common complaint.
- Excellent location close to attractions and the falls
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Outdated rooms and facilities
- Cleanliness and maintenance issues
- 4/5
Location is right in the clifton hill and it has a $20/stay parking fee which is not bad The room amenities are old, pillows are not the best. But with the room rate, its as expected.
- 4.5/5
Was all good. But the toilets are weak
- 3/5
Paying for parking is ridiculous.
- 4/5
The location was excellent close to the falls and attractions. Parking charges was extra this should be ideally free for guest staying with the hotel.
- 4/5
The hotel was at the right location. It has a nice parking place, it was alright but no breakfast! No breakfast
- 4.5/5
The location was great and rooms were very clean and appeared recently uldated. Staff was very helpful, especially Renata (sp?) at the desk who guided us in to parking. She went above and beyond expectations. The towels and wash clothes were very thin,
- 4/5
Right on Clifton Hill, close to everything. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was clean. Comfortable beds. Staff does their best to accommodate Street closes at 8pm
- 3.5/5
Proximity to the activities Old and dated
- 5/5
We stay here every time we go to Niagara Falls. We go about 3 times a year. It’s always clean. Very comfortable, and it was recently updated so it’s even better. It is right in the heart of Clifton Hill. We park and don’t have to drive anywhere. There is nothing we didn’t like.
- 2.5/5
Location is perfect!!! Staff were good. Room is old and needs full renovation. Room was not cleaned properly (beer caps behind curtains and in corners. Something red running down back of bathroom door. Holes in ancient black out blinds. Needs new mattress and couch. Chair at desk wobbles and will collapse any day. Carpet is gross.
- 4.5/5
No elevator
- 3/5
Slightly dirty. Super dated. Not really comfortable.
- 4.5/5
Very close to everything. None.
- 5/5

- 4.5/5
Great location! Staff were super friendly.
- 4.5/5
Location is great, and quiet. Room was clean and staff was great
- 5/5
I have bad knees and back pain. I wish they had an elevator.
- 4.5/5
It was in a good location on Clifton Hill and close to many attractions.
- 5/5
Safe, convenient and very close to everything. Clean room and staff was very and friendly. Definitely recommend staying here. Worth it.
- 5/5
Family night away and it was great to see the lights and it was great to stay right downtown across from the midway, the kids loved it.
- 5/5
Premium rooms were awesome, great renovations
- 5/5
room was clean, convenient, friendly staff, amenities were sufficient, in the centre of all the attractions!
- 4/5
Yes
- 2/5
Lots of noise from other guest fights in corridor and no one from the lodge came to stop them. Sleep was disturbed multiple times over the night. Didn’t expect this.
- 3/5
The door didn’t seal good so the wind made a sound like someone was crying all night. Bath tub was rusted and it look dirty.
- 5/5
Perfect location to be within walking distance of all the "must see" attractions of Niagara Falls, Ontario CA.
- 5/5
Our room was clean and cozy, very close to the check in desk. Checking in was smooth, no problem. We came to see the Christmas lights, so we were very close to walk about. Restaurants galore. No view of the fall from our room, but that’s not important. Very good value for the location!
- 5/5
Very good place close to everything
- 5/5
Prime location for doing things on Niagara
- 5/5
People are nice and friendly
- 5/5
Was perfect little spot right in the middle of all the activities on Clifton Hill. Everything was within a walking distance range and had the local amenities like a fridge and microwave.
- 5/5
clean room very courteous staff
- 3/5
They charge $15 for hotel guests!! If I am renting a room where do they expect me to park? I was there three nights nad paid $15 plus tax for all three nights. And on top of that they rent it out to people and the hotel guests sometimes can't even find place to park.Happend to me!
- 2/5
It’s inside the downtown and the rooms are not much clean
- 5/5
Great staff!
- 5/5
Everything was clean. Bathroom fan needs some maintenance, noisy.. Wish the Pop vending machine took coins again.
- 5/5
Helpful Staff. Check-in & Check-out process painless.
- 4/5
Awesome customer service !
- 5/5
We really loved our stay here for 3 days. It looks cleaner than before and have been renovated. One thing I didn’t like are the pillows but everything else is 5 stars.
- 5/5
clean affordable excellent location
- 5/5
We stayed a few nights. Beds comfy, room clean, Nice view of Clifton St. Close to many museums, stores, restaurants. Fifteen minute walk to Skylon Tower and Horseshoe Falls. Adjacent to Casino Niagara and 15 - 20 minute walk to Fallsview Casino. Great location for us!
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff, amazing location
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Hotel is clean and checking in was great. They found a ready room as we were early. My only complaint is the curtains don’t shut, so too bright when smelling. Bring a sleeping mask.
- 4/5
I didn't use it
- 4/5
Had an amazing time, loved that we had a hotel on the strip, nice and close to everything that was happening.
- 5/5
Staff was great.
- 5/5
The place is so convenient and with good pricing
- 5/5
Easy to locate...easy to check in .. centrally located to all of Niagara Falls Canada attractions. Located mid Clifton Hill it was in walking distance to most area attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced !! Will definitely stay here again this winter .
- 5/5
Great location!!! Great price! Clean! Friendly! Will definitely be back!
- 1/5
This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The room was dirty, the bed had bed bugs, and the whole place smelled awful. It was clear that the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. I couldn’t even sleep because of the bugs and the bad odor. Definitely would not recommend staying here — the pictures online are nothing like reality. Avoid this place at all costs!
- 3/5
Property needs upgrade, esp room, experinece some noise in the night from other rooms. Overall it was ok. Booked this hotel due to location. Location was excellent, parking was good. Carpets in room outdated old. Location is the best.
- 2/5
My main issue was lack of friendliness. Just smiles. Im going to check in, and i get looked at like im ruining his day. Maybe thats just hos face, but its not a noce way to start a trip. The room was clean. But needs updating, i need an AC, and this kne would constantly shut off. The floors had so much give in them you could bounce.. another big thing I didn't like, they charged us for parking, they charged us the same price that they charge anybody that isn't staying on the property. No discount. I don't think you should pay it all if you're staying but at least a discount
- 4/5
Great renovated room .. we did miss the drawers on desk , bedside table and in the room .. used suitcase for 4 days .
- 5/5
Excellent location, a dated but perfect room for our family of 4. No issues, would definitely book again ⭐️
- 5/5
Room was clean and tidy.
- 5/5
Its very convinient.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed the check in proces . Fantastic location with easy parking .
- 4/5
The only thing they need is be able to close drapes. The light came through at night .
- 4/5
Good location
- 4/5
Clean, updated rooms. Been going here for many years now.
- 3/5
.
- 4/5
Rooms are in dire need of upgrades. We didn't spend much time in the room so it was okay.
- 5/5
Accessibility, nice place and friendly staff especially the reservation staff
- 4/5
Clean room with excellent water pressure.
- 5/5
Clean room/ friendly staff/ shops and attractions near by
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Great value
- 5/5
the rooms had three double beds one was in a room of its own.
- 4/5
Hotel is a bit run down, more like a 2 star i/o a 3 star hotel. all staffs amazing.
- 4/5
On Clifton hill no complaints about the staff.
- 5/5
Its right by clifton hill niagara falls,cn
- 4/5
Over all it was a good stay.
- 5/5
This hotel is located in the middle of the action. Very convenient.
- 5/5
Convenient
- 5/5
Slight musty smell but rooms were clean. The shower pressure was amazing. The staff was friendly. The location was amazing and in the middle of all activities.
- 3/5
Central convenient location, friendly staff and good price. No extras, and dated decor, not set up for the 4 adult group, not enough seating inside or out of room for all of us.
- 3/5
I had three luggage and our room is on the 3rd floor it's very inconvenient because there's no lift, only stairs.
- 5/5
The location is perfect for a trip to Niagara if you want short walking distance to pretty well all of the attractions
- 5/5
Excellent location and staff
- 5/5
Best kept secret in Niagara Falls. Front desk staff, security around the property and cleaning staff were all wonderful. Very helpful and onsite parking was a bonus.
- 5/5
I booked 2 rooms and it’s very comfortable and convenient to stay at, no problems.
- 4/5
Our family stays there all the time, very convenient for all of us. The staff and cleaning staff are polite, satisfaction and with a smile. I wish the property manager would update the rooms and change beds to at least queen size for adults with children. Thank you to all the staff and workers for making our familys stay wonderful and safe
- 4/5
Staff members were very kind and everything went smoothly. The rooms need some upgrade. The AC is very noisy and it leaks in front of the door, the furniture is outdated. But the placement of the hotel is amazing, just in front of the Ferris wheel, in the middle of everything.
- 4/5
Great location but not so clean
- 4/5
Location was fantastic. Check in was easy and pleasant. Room was basic, but spacious and clean, though a bit run down. The bed was comfortable. On site parking was a game changer and the rate was lower than other options in the area. For the location and general convenience in the hight of summer season the price was good.
- 5/5
Location is in Clifton Hill which is the perfect location to walk to all the fun offered. You can see the fireworks at 10pm from your patio. The pool is a wonderful option. We were in room 150 and got a parking spot directly outside of our room. Our room was nicely updated, clean and spacious. We would stay again.
- 3/5
The room was newly remodeled. Housekeeper Sherrie very good. Balcony was very dirty upon arrival a real mess with bees and dead flowers and dirt. Premium price room but cant use the balcony and can not see over flowers so no view but half dead flowers.did not have a working tv for first day/night.. not worth 399.00 a night to see notjing.
- 5/5
The location of the property was great. The cleanliness was amazing. Although at check in I was not impressed with the man who checked us in. My interactions with the rest of staff was great, they were friendly & helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

- 4/5
Perfect location! Staff was so nice, we had an easy check-in and were pleased to find out they had free electric vehicle parking.
- 4/5
This property is perfect place to stay. Near to everything.

- 5/5
LIFES GOOD
- 5/5
The staff was friendly. Balcony area messy...I would have like to sit there but it was messy
- 4/5
Lots of food options close by, Ruby Tuesdays was our first stop but we were very disappointed with the service and the food wasnt great. The clifton hill tim hortons was disappointing, we went twice and both times my coffee was undrinkable and when I poured the last one out in the sink there was a fly in it. If you need your Timmies like me its worth a short drive down the street. We ate Wendy's and it was great. The family restaurant was good and the hotel gave 5$ off coupons. The rainforest cafe was fantastic and so cool if you have littles. They had fireworks over the falls every night at 10 and we timed the sky wheel perfectly for a birds eye view. Our favorite activity was Speedway gocarting but the lines were insane long... 1.5hr wait but you get several laps and it was a blast. It was super hot out so we explored mostly after supper and spent the hottest part of the day at the pool. Our beds were super comfy, there was free wifi, onsite parking was 20/day. We were thankful for the air conditioned room but it was very loud and pumped heat into the outdoor seating area. Our premium room came with your own outdoor seating area and was on the ground floor(no elevator). The room was clean but for a premium room the bathroom had calking for tile grout, a dated tub and barely any shower pressure. Overall we enjoyed our stay, I will say a bit pricey for the hotel but we did upgrade to a premium room, which I highly recommend and the location put us steps from everythi
- 3/5
It’s convenient to see the falls ,shopping and eating only the room is old and you can hear noise from upstairs.
- 4/5
Wyndham Travelodge is a little dated but overall a very good experience. Bathroom facilities were fine as was the bed and mattress . Easy walking to the falls and close to many places to eat and drink
- 5/5
Fantastic
- 5/5
Rooms were newly renovated, and very clean. Location is right on the Clifton hill, great location, close to everything especially the falls. Would recommend!
- 4/5
Stayed in room 272, the location is excellent, the room was spacious and clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showering. It was nice to have a mini fridge, however we paid $9.97 for a litre of bottled water from the convenience store up the street which is extremely expensive, and later ordered water and snacks from DoorDash for a fraction of the cost. Also a server told us about a local transportation App called “Loyal T” which saved some money, an Uber was $50 to Niagara on the Lake and Loyal T was $32, overall we enjoyed our stay and had a great time in Niagara Falls.
- 4/5
just one night stand with no drawers or shelves
- 5/5
Great stay.. New upgraded room are nice. I recommend upgrading to these rooms
- 5/5
Very clean and excellent value. Location is awesome.👍
- 4/5

- 4/5
I like
- 4/5
I like the staff is Friendly.
- 4/5
Wish i could have had more water bottles, especially in these warm days.
- 5/5
We stayed in the premiere suites...they are renovated.
- 2/5
No I won’t stay in this hotel again. The only good thing was that, despite been close to everything my room was quite. And there is the convenience of been close to everything.
- 5/5
Great location.
- 5/5
Room is good.
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
I like the fact that the hotel was in the center of all the fun activity great pool. Great dining choices a few blocks to the falls. There wasnt nothing i disliked about the property. Parking was good for hotel guest only
- 5/5
We were shocked how great this place was! This is definitely going to be our go to place going forward! We were very happy with everything!
- 5/5
It is our 2nd time staying here. We chose this place because the property is very close to stores and activities at Clifton Hill. Good value for money.
- 4/5
Convinent for access to all the attractions in the Niagara Falls Park
- 5/5
Love the location and the bed was great!
- 1/5
Stayed in room 253 for 2 nights and the room was infested with bed bugs! Bith me and my fiance had over 50 bites each on our bodies and they itched like crazy! I never experience bed bugs before and dont want to ever again! Its too bad because the property was close to everything and within walking distance of lots of attractions!
- 3/5
Cons: no elevator, outdated, noise outside (people gather outside their hotel rooms - talk, eat/drink, and smoke).
- 5/5
Perfect
- 4/5
I like how it was close to everything.
- 4/5
Dated but clean. Staff very friendly.
- 4/5
Room was clean, beds comfortable, plenty of pillows and towels👍 Bathroom was basic, but neat and clean, blow dryer and soaps and shampoos were included as well as body lotion, fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee machine with teas and coffees👍
- 4/5
Very close to nigaria falls
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 3/5
Excellent location but lobby and rooms needa to be clean more
- 3/5
The room was dated and needed updating. Managenent was ok but hard to find when you pulled up the hill into the complex. For the money it was ok.
- 3/5
Our room was nothing like pictured on the website when we booked and there was zero soundproofing so you can hear everything from the rooms around you and outside. Our pillows and the bed was also very uncomfortable. The employees were nice though
- 3/5
best thing about staying here is the area and the is reasonably for clifton hill
- 5/5
We wanted something close to the falls but didn’t care if there was a view from the hotel. This was a 5 minute walk. If you want to be in the middle of all the touristy stuff, this is it. It’s not fancy but is clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean. It’s a motel so nothing fancy but they did have cute flower beds. It’s right around the corner from the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark which our kids loved (ages 11 and 12). This is not the calm side of Niagara Falls - that’s on the NY side but our kids wanted to go to Canada so this was perfect for our needs. I think when I booked it, it said there was a full kitchen but it was just a mini fridge and microwave. Lots of restaurants nearby, no grocery stores. You can walk to the falls but we drove to the US side instead to do Cave of the Winds (highly recommend) and no line to go through the border on a Thursday morning. Their favorite part of our 11-day road trip. We stayed two nights and would definitely stay here again with kids this age.
- 5/5
It was very comfortable & clean. I will go back again.
- 4/5
Room was clean, bed was nice and staff were accommodating, bathroom and sink are pretty old fashioned and small
- 4/5
While the rooms are dated and in need of repair, the facility was clean and the staff that we encountered during our stay were all incredibly nice and friendly.
- 5/5
Close to everything
- 5/5
Fit s bunch of us and full kitchen to cook making it afford falls weekend for a large family
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Had no issues what so ever and enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
I have nothing negative to say about this place but greatness! My family had a great time even on our 1 night stay and will definitely come back and stay here again.
- 5/5
Great experience
- 3/5
strategic location
- 4/5
This place has access to all amenities staff is friendly, neat and clean environment, recommended A +
- 4/5
Stayed here for the location. Right on Clifton Hill in the middle of all the action. 5 minute walk to falls. Restaurants, shops, and all attractions right out your door.
- 5/5
This is out go to hotel when in Niagara Falls
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay and always do when we come to Niagara once a year. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and the staff very helpful. The hotel is right on Clifton Hill near all the action and just a quick walk to falls. We will be back next spring.

- 5/5
All the staff were so nice and professional! This property is literally right in the middle of the Niagara Strip so it's perfect. I've come here for years when I was little, and now I get to bring my son here.
- 5/5
The front staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
- 4/5
excellent location. clean and comfortable
- 4/5
The hotel itself is fine. My problem is with the fact that parking is not free for hotel guests and we have to pay $15 daily. On top of that they rent it out to visitors so good luck for hotel guests to find convenient parking!
- 5/5
Location is perfect! We stayed in a newly renovated section. Room was really clean. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again!!
- 4/5
It was amazing. Super convenient. Steps to the stores and games and falls. Sofa beds were so, but King Beds were good. My skin is itchy on the sofa bed. If the hotel has indoor pool and gym, that would be wonderful. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
I didn't like the parking situation...the parking for the hotel is a public parking lot and costs $15 a night not included in the price of the room
- 5/5
We enjoyed staying here! It is close to everything but once in our room we couldn’t hear all the noise on Clifton Hill which was surprising but great. We would stay again!
- 5/5
Great room. Close to everything.
- 4/5
This is right in the middle of the Clifton hill with all the fun places at 2 min walking distance. The room was clean - had a tv, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Parking was provided at $15 a day. Bathroom interiors are dated but it is well maintained. They provided $5 coupons for each person for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. There are plenty of food options around. Would go again!
- 5/5
- 5/5
Great location and very good price
- 5/5
Staff were kind and very helpful. Thank you.
- 3/5
Nice place and walking distance to all the attractions. Food is never a problem. It would have been nice if we have free bottles of water in the fridge.
- 5/5
We loved the room. It is clean, warm and big
