There were two TVs in our suite, which was a surprise. The shower was nice. It was comfortable, clean, quiet, friendly staff. Decent breakfast.

Appreciated staying in a facility that was up to date and modern. Only complaint we have is that the elevator took way too long to close the doors, even when the button was pushed to close the doors (it did not respond).

A/C did not work well. Front desk worker was not very friendly or put together upon arrival. Front door to building was missing and thus appeared rather run down but inside had obviously been remodeled.

For $200 a night I don't expect perfection, but at the very least expect a clean room and a hotel that is in decent condition. The hotel itself is a little more beat up than other Holiday Inn Express sites I have stayed in. The manager was friendly and accommodating so absolutely no issues there. My main issue was the cleanliness of the room. Upon entry, room 111 was musty/stuffy and felt damp. The bed was clean but there were ants in the room that eventually made their way to the bed the next morning. There were greasy fingerprints on just about every hard surface, so it was clear the room had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom was also dirty, shower floor was nasty and there was hair on the shower wall and on the shampoo bottles (not ours..we hadn't used it yet). The breakfast was decent with a fair amount of options and the coffee was good. The room doors slam HARD and fast which did wake us up a couple times. There is no reason for a room door to slam that hard. Overall I would not recommend this hotel if you value a clean room and a good night's sleep. There are plenty of better options in the area.

We had just spent previous night in same Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Jasper, Alabama where we were greeted warmly and offered complimentary cookies, coffee and lemonade on arrival. Nothing like that in Bloomington hotel. Also, room smelled like dirty socks, no make-up removal pads and we were not provided a written receipt on departure as we had asked. Again, same hotel brand as night before, very different experience. Wasn’t awful just a letdown from Jasper hotel.

Very clean rooms and building! Stay was very friendly! The choice of streaming channels sucked. They had Netflix on the remotes but it was not available. Tried to mirror my cell phone to tv using the instructions given, but it never worked.

One night, late arrival and early exit stay. Room was fine. The bathroom fan was very loud but eventually quieted down.

The property was partly closed for repairs, our room key was difficult to operate, had to return to front desk for remake. Both the fitness room and the hot tub were closed for repairs. Nevertheless the above market rate was still being charges.

Worked to help get some belongings back that I had left behind.

The hotel is currently being renovated, but construction did not take away from my trip. My room was 10 out of 10 clean and quiet. My only complaint is that Saturday and Sunday morning housekeeping started making rounds and knocking on doors at 8:30 in the morning, which is too early for me.

The room I stayed waa newly renovated. Breakfast is great. The bed is so comfortable. Friendly service and very clean. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and store like Walmart. It is less than 10min drive to ISU. I love it.

The room, there was spot painted and not, then you cant close the door to the king room, the air flow sucks even with the fan on. It just looked sloppy for being remodled. Very disappointing.

We enjoyed our time at the property, it was nice clean and the breakfast was good! The front office staff was pleasant and informative. We thought the beds and linens were extra comfortable! The only problem we had was with the tv, we could not cast or stream any app. That was unfortunate but overall we would stay there again😊

They were remodeling. Our room was remodel & looked great ! Can’t wait to see the results of the rest of the project. I think the dinning room should be opened so we use it instead of eating in our room !

Hotel was clean, bed linens very comfy. Staff friendly and helpful. Lobby was a tad noisy in the morning because doors to second floor were not closed (not sure why) made sound travel upward and right to our room. Breakfast was definately better than others I've had at hotel. Good place to stay.

Pool & hot tub working but gross. No coffee throughout the day. Air conditioner not great water pressure terrible. Key access to room is temperamental. No vending machines or on site snack shop. The only positives were the cinnamon rolls & kcup coffee makers in room

The room and the bedding smelled. The comforter had stains on one of the beds. The pillows smelled musty and the shower did not work properly. I did not expect much as it was a hotel in a college town but I paid over $200 for the room and expected a better experience

Not thrilled i had to go to the bottom floor from an end room on the 3rd floor for a bucket of ice. Doors are too heavy. Finally could sleep in with my brother who is Special Olympics athlete and all morning long the doors were slamming shut.

The room was a decent size but for the cost ($150) per night, I would expect the quality to be better. Every pice of furniture was damaged and or stained, even the light fixtures had rust spots. The wall paper was ripped, the bathroom was dirty and not well maintained. The bedspreads had stains. The room felt damp.The breakfast was just ok but not much variety. I wont stay again.

Breakfast was decent for a hotel breakfast but I have to give a shout out to Darin. There was help needed with my father and instead of just saying sorry, can’t help, he did the exact opposite. He helped my father and in turn helped me and my family enjoy my son’s college graduation. Thank you so much Darin!!!!

Breakfast was good. Make your own pancakes was nice but it tasted a little rubbery. Cinnamon rolls were nice & warm. There was cereal & oatmeal packets. Turkey sausage tasted fake. Sausage links were good. Veg omelets were ok. There's Toast, muffins, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, Coffee & juices. Nothing to brag about but it was filling. I would stay there again if i knew the bathroom issues were resolved & if the price was right.

Pool was advertised but it wasn't operational. 2 out of 3 treadmills didn't work. TV in exercise room didn't work. Asked for discount and was refused.

The breakfast is the same reheated... sausages or bacon.. some of the sausages were out of date... cereal dispensers are labeled Kelloggs but are refilled with generic Walmart cereal... I saw it refilled a couple of times. The bfast rolls sit under the warmer too long and get hard. Need more than chobani greek yogurt.. NEED VARIETY AND BETTER FOOD HANDLING

The concierge/front desk person was friendly and apologetic. The next morning was awful. Why did housekeeping feel the need to knock on my door while I’m sleeping at 8 and again at 10. I wanted to sleep in on my Saturday morning.

The front desk was super unhelpful then the room wasn’t great but was a layover so wasn’t in too high of hopes but the bathroom with urine stains on floor was very disgusting we slept and got out immediately!!

The grounds are clean and right next to Walmart. Our heater in our room wouldn’t turn off so we were boiling the first night. Then the water pressure in the shower was poor and very light. Then the remote wasn’t working but that was an easy battery fix. Wouldn’t recommend room 226.

Subpar, not worth 150 for less s than 8 hours, asked for late check out, was told that would be fine, got multiple people knocking on the door various different times, had to explain to everyone the same thing, yet no one knew, then got a phone call about the exact thing someone just came to my door about. Terrible customer service, might as well go to a model 8 they would have been nicer and less trouble. Don't recommend this place, I thought it would be a nice place for me and my son to stay, I was very wrong.

However, we were woken up at 8:18 AM by knocking on our door and then cleaning lady entering our room. Check out is at 11:00.

Check in was fast and easy. Hotel lobby was very nice and clean. First room had black mold in the bathroom so I asked to change rooms. Second room was much better. Very comfortable beds and pillows, heater worked extremely well and water pressure was fine. Pool was clean and very warm! Hot tub was dirty so we didn’t use it. Breakfast had many options and was overall decent but bacon and sausage gravy was very salty. Still tasted good though. Overall decent stay close to Walmart, restaurants and shopping.

We only stayed one night and canceled. Hot tub wasn’t working and hotel wasn’t in great condition. The staff however was excellent

We picked this hotel even though it was a little Pricer because it had a hot tub. Hot tub was not useable we were told due to hotel renovation's recent painting was chipping off ( bad paint job ) and they had to close it down. It was very obvious that this hot tub had not been painted in a long time. Very very clear this was not a recent paint job. so we asked about the hot tub suites same thing told due to renovations all of the hot suites were not available at this time. Our refrigerator was dirty, had to be careful the front of where the refrigerator sat was broken and it kept falling forward. One of the tiles in the bathroom was loose so it popped up ever time you stepped on it. lamp shades were cracked. wall had paint peeling off of it.On a better side the bed was comforatable, and complimentary breakfast was good.

When we arrived in the room the floor around the bed had trash. The bed sheets were dirty when I pulled them back to check, there was also a crawling bug, nothing serious, on the sheet inside and pillowcases had visible stains. I walked right down to the front desk and told them and the front desk person called housekeeping immediately and they met me back in the room. Housekeeping stripped everything, cleaned the floor and were very apologetic. Everything was fine after that. Other than that our stay was good. Breakfast was good, just right for our stay. Would stay again but will always double check the room for cleanliness.

The front desk was great, but after driving hundreds of miles to have the door to my room not work was frustrating...I had to bag twice to get the door lock fixed...The front desk was very helpful, but I was very tired...In addition, a number of various bugs in the room...Alive, walking across the desk with the lamp and another one on the lamp itself...Not very pleasant...

Room outlets are too loose, coffee maker didn’t work right, zero housekeeping for the 7 days 1 was there in a total of two weeks. Never again. I get hotels every week from Monday to Thursday. Lost my business.

The stay was nice at the hotel, but the pool and hot tub areas need some renovations. The bottom of the pool floor was peeling, and paint chips were on the floor. The stairs of the hot tub had spikes on the steps. There was absolutely no chlorine used. The pool area smelled like urine.

It was clean but everything was in need off repair. Toilet sink tub drained poorly. AC was at 60 did ever cool. TV worked terrible, WiFi poor signal, breakfast as expected. Gentleman working desk during day very nice.

Room was very comfortable and breakfast was very good. Darin checked me in and he was very friendly and answered all my questions. It was a pleasure staying. Hopefully the pool will be updated by the next time I come to stay.

It's a nice quiet place right off the highway so it was very convenient.

Most comfortable bed I have slept in hotels. My room had ants. The TV stand was less than desirable repairs at the hotel were substandard. The beverage machines were under stocked.

Did not like to have to pick up towels and wash cloths at front desk because room service was only every three days. Liked the excellent breakfast that was offered!

It would have been great if the outlets in the rooms were fitted with USB outlets/smart phone outlets in the event one forgot their charging cube.

The lobby and exterior looked very nice and maintained. It's a nice area near a Target, and Walmart and Panera right next door. Only 7 minutes from ISU. There is a Portillos and Starbucks just down the road. Our room had a large brown stain on the carpet and the water in the bathtub/shower did not shut off fully so dripped all night. The toilet became clogged so I tried to call to see if the desk had a plunger but none of the buttons on the phone worked! I walked over and the man at the desk said the phones are a known problem. He came to plunge the toilet and interestingly was only wearing socks. No shoes. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak but had plenty of hot water. But the desk clerk did tell me that we should've told him about the tub leaking water bc there is a trick to getting it shut off. You have to turn it on full power and then shut off. The breakfast in the morning was great and had lots of hot and cold options. The beds were very comfortable and clean. There was a grass area where you could take pets outside.

This has become my go-to hotel when I'm in Bloomington. Consistent and reliable. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and quiet room, wonderful breakfast. Great location, central to what I need. Easy to get around. Traffic very do-able. I love the Panera next door and gas station next to that. Easy parking. I'm really getting to know the area. High marks all around. I'll definitely be back.

I enjoyed the breakfast and the ambiance of the dining area. It was close to a places where if you needed anything you could walk to it easily.

Toilet don’t flush, stopper in tub was broke, curtains were really dirty. For the price I would not recommend
