Breakfast had a lot of options.

The staff checked us in quickly and efficiently. They were always courteous and friendly. The location was convenient for our stay. The breakfast was good and someone was always on hand to help to refill the food and to answer questions. The front desk always had someone there.

Room was very clean. Breakfast is good. Workout room was good. TV screens in workout room only received a few channels. When trying to access DirectTV on the workout equipment screen, nothing happened. On the evening of 6/7, I stayed in Room 405, and the desk chair was unable to be raised. It simply stayed at the absolute bottom.

Good parking, pool is great!!!! Good breakfast choices (wish biscuits was provided for breakfast choice). Clean room was great !!! Would pick this hotel next time I go to this town!

The hotel was clean and so were the rooms. Parking was fine. The breakfast was alright. There wasn't a lot to pick from when you're gluten free, but what was there was good. Overall, we had a good stay.

There was a surge protector type device on the night stand with room for two block plug ins- that was sticky and covered in lint/hair. Otherwise, the room was fine. Beds were comfortable, bed skirts looked messy and out of place. Window opened to a wall, which is always strange. Parking was easy and plentiful. Area felt safe. Staff was cordial and helpful. I was surprised to get a little welcome treat as a Hilton diamond member. Breakfast was good- kind of as expected for a free hotel breakfast. But staff was very kind. While I would not come here as a destination, I would stay again if I needed to visit the area.

In short, the building is showing its age. Pealing wallpaper, wall mounted shelves that are loosely attached, a table in the eating area that wobbled so badly it should have been removed. Also, poor design in the bathroom as the counter for the sink is at least 6 inches too high.

The breakfast was ok but not a good selection of food to choose from as far as meat. The pool looked dirty and had yellow stains in it and my kids didn’t want to get in due to cracked flooring also. The rooms need to be updated and carpet all over hallway and room need to be cleaned. Paint peeling and stains on furniture in lobby and room. Rooms too small and not enough sitting space.

King suite - accessible room. Had a Murphy bed that was a queen size and not a normal king bed as stated and reserved. Room layout was really good and roomy with a nice mini-bar area. Bathroom has some maintenance issues. Shower had some mold on the caulking by the base. Walls had holes in it from trying to hang hand rail by toilet and the toilet is not an ADA high toilet. It was so low it was hard to sit and stand. The wallpaper is peeling off walls in breakfast and dining area. Otherwise the hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Room was clean and quiet. TV was very small especially being too far from the sofa and bed.

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Location is good. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning, but our bathroom could have used a new shower head and new grout around the tub. I know that the pool has to be cleaned, but I picked the property partly because I wanted to use the indoor pool when I got up and it was closed all morning for cleaning. Maybe a sign the night before cleaning letting people know that they will not be able to use it in the morning.

We made a last minute reservation to the hotel due to the weather emergency in our area. The staff was very nice at check in. The room appeared very clean and nicely decorated. However after getting settled in we noticed the toilet had a noisy leak. There was. some black mold in the shower and the air conditioner rattled. The people in the room next to us were loud and obnoxious. We left after 4 hours as there was a further emergency at our home. When we checked out the staff appeared very distracted or tired. It was not our best night.

This is definitely a mixed review. The location is convenient to dining options and shopping. However the building is in a state of repair so some doors to get in and out of the hotel work while others do not. Breakfast in quite nice with an array of options from fresh fruit, muffins, and toast to eggs, potatoes, and sausage . The rooms are fine, but could use an update including a fulls size ironing board. Bottom line is that this is. C level hotel and there are others nearby that offer more.

We were very disappointed with this Hampton Inn. The hotel looked tired and worn and not overly clean. The biggest problem for us was in the bathroom -- the toilet was very low to the floor and difficult to rise from (no grab bar) and the tub had very high sides making it difficult to get in and out of, The front desk clerk said all rooms in the hotel had the same bathroom set-up, so changing rooms would not have helped. We were stuck here for three nights and not very happy about it. This Hampton Inn was not up to their usual good standard -- it's in need of renovation. The staff tried to be helpful and the breakfast was okay. Will not stay here again.

There were long hairs in the shower and on the shower wall. The bathroom light was out so it was very dark in the bathroom. The A/C sounded like it was loud.

Breakfast was minimal large crowds and no staff anywhere. Toilet ran whole time and if flushed it, terrible noises for about a minute so couldn’t use it at night or woke everyone up. Used restroom in lobby and no soap with trash all over the floor. Very frustrating

We were very disappointed that the pool and the hot tub were closed.

Requested a handicap accessible room. Was given a room with a tub shower. It did have grab bars but impossible for me to get into. They said ifI wanted a walk in shower I had to request it at booking. The tub shower was considered handicap accessible. Also, even though we were on a non-smoking floor, our room smelled very smoky especially in the bathroom the first day we arrived. They offered us another room, but we’d already unpacked and opted not to so they were at least trying to be accommodating.

We had a rough time even getting into the hotel room door (jammed several times). Then when the kids wanted to go to the pool, we were told the pool was closed "due to unforeseen circumstances." The air conditioner was definitely not cool enough.

The room was clean. Staff were absolutely amazing. We had trouble with the TV, staff came to work in it right away. They not only offered 24/7 coffee in the lobby but also had a hot chocolate bar and dog treats for any dogs that stayed.

Pleasant staff. Clean lobby. The rooms most definitely need an update. Sloppy holes in walls, old carpet, peeling wallpaper.

Not really up to expected Hampton standards. Mold in grout in bathtub. Heater ran loudly for 15 or so seconds every 4-5 minutes, all night long, so constantly going on/off, despite our trying every combination of control settings—even tried turning completely off, but nothing changed it. The staff was excellent though and good breakfast as always—even up to the last minute (did not start shutting down before end time). Probably will avoid this location in future.

This hotel really needs a refresh. They are doing the best they can with what they have, but everything just feels old and yellow. Not updated at all.

my only complaint is there was a night light i couldn't shut off. The t.v doesn't rotate fully so it's a weird angle and when it rained it was very loud but everything else was really great!!

A reservation was made for an accessible room, expecting a walk-in shower. The room did not have a walk-in shower and none was available. Your web-site does not show any reservation options for an accessible room with a walk-in shower even though the building has some.

Hair in the laboratory and on a towel. Room hadn't been given a good dusting in a long time. Bedside lamp outlet/switch was sticky. Breakfast was very disappointing. They said it was 6 to 10. We went little passed 8. Food items were empty. Coffee was empty. We ate cereal and muffins then went to fast food place for coffee. Upon arrival for checkin at 3:30 pm, we were told our room wasn't ready so they put us in another one.

Staff was warm and welcoming. It’s a quick walk to Starbucks in the morning and Destihl Brewery for dinner. Breakfast was better than expected !

Overall, we enjoyed our 4 night stay at this property. Breakfast each morning was great. We needed to add a roll away bed after the reservation was initially made and they changed our room to accommodate that request with no issue. I did ask for someone to lubricate the hinges on our bathroom door due to the squeak, but it wasn't done, so I did take care of it myself.

Overall it was a good stay. The check in was quick, although the digital key didn’t work. The hotel was clean, fresh smelling, and I didn’t feel like I needed a shower after entering my room. The inside of the hotel could use some updates and the landscaping needs some touching up. The parking lot could use a repaving also. For the price, it was a good value for a visiting business trip.

Front desk staff were helpful and attentive. After returning to the room at night, we noticed ants all over the floor. We were immediately moved to another room. This room had a handicapped accessible shower which looked very outdated and unclean. We noticed hair on the floor of the shower and the grout lines were very discolored. Because we had just moved rooms and were leaving early in the morning, we decided to just not use the shower. Had we been staying longer or needed the shower, I would have asked for another room. Very disappointing.

Beds were uncomfortable, bedding didn’t fit the mattresses, carpets were badly stained, and there was hair in the bathroom. Hampton Inn really disappointed at this location. Meredith at the front desk was nice, though. I will give them that!

I stay at exclusively Hamptons most of the time. If none are available I always look for Marriott. This hotel is a complete ripoff and is not worth the cost of $200 a night. This particular Hampton has not been upgraded with the new Hampton “model” if that’s the right way to put it. Everything in the hotel is outdated, the carpets are stained, and common areas are no good also. The hotel just does not give off a clean or good environment. For Hampton brand and the price point I would never stay there again until I know they’ve gotten the correct update to their facility. I will say yes our room was relatively clean but everything is severely worn and the there were stains on the floor and the chair in the room. Just not what I’m used to with Hilton

The light bulbs in their rooms are so dim you cannot even read a book. Absolutely awful. Tiny ants on the table. They can’t see them because the room is so dark. Bathroom is very clean. Bed not great but okay.

Although Hampton Inn does offer a good location and complimentary breakfast, the facilities are in need of a huge facelift. The carpet already looks rundown and dingy. My bathroom faucet didn’t work and the shower stream was acting awkward.

I had previously stayed here but forgot that it is pet friendly.It is great but since I don't have pets anymore, I don't want them in my hotel choice. Although it was very clean and no pet smell. There were ample dog areas and clean up bags around.

We stayed in the room that had the king bed with the sleeper couch and a desk in the middle. This room was HUGE! It was clean and super comfortable. We had people in rooms next to us and above us and we barely heard anything. Seriously, this is one of the best places I have stayed for this price. Splurge for the bigger room--it's worth it. It was the size of a studio apartment. Loved everything about our stay here.

Had to stand in 2 in of water to take a shower. No conditioner in shower. 2 pillows equaled a normal one. Some of the linens were worn. Shower magnet wouldn't stay so water would get all over floor and water pressure was very low.

Though clean room & very nice staff this Hampton not quality were used to. Looks very old..... Carpets, flooring must be original, look old & dirty. First room given, light in bathroom didn't work. Given new room. Adequate but wouldn't say nice. Time for remodel. The team & future clients deserve.

I never stayed there I was never even near there somehow it got booked by mistake and expedia did not respond to my attempts to cancel my stay. I spent the night in Chicago no help from Expedia. They never confirmed my first attempt to book at quality inn and then booked me at a Hampton that was no where near where i was

Person that checked us in was not very friendly. Seemed like we were bothering him. Room had hair on the floor in the bathroom. Fan made all kinds of strange noises during the night. Overall not a very pleasurable experience.

Things went well except the pool. The temperature was nice, but it had too much chlorine. Eyes burned badly. Hot tub was fine. Breakfast area was very nice.

Sadly, this hotel needs a refresh and deep clean.

The cleanliness was sad from this hotel. As a Hampton, I expected better. The shower was not cleaned thoroughly and the floors were sticky. We stayed three nights and asked for fresh towels and sheets each day, never happened. The room was never serviced even after repeat asks. I picked up my own fresh towels each night. Disappointing is an understatement. Won’t stay here again.

The front counter staff was very friendly. The hallways & rooms were dirty. The bed was comfortable overall the hotel is outdated. They never came to freshen up our room or bring fresh towels. Taking a shower heard loud noises from the pipes. Again front desk Elizabeth was very friendly.

I waited 10 minutes in the lobby before any staff showed up to check me in. Staff wasn’t really friendly upon checking in either. I felt like I was interrupting whatever they were doing. Room was good. At breakfast the next day there wasn’t any clean table to sit at so I cleaned a table off myself.

We came for a college visit this trip. This is our first time staying at Hampton Inn & Suites. Our suite was great! It was very spacious and clean. The property is well maintained and the staff were friendly and professional. We will DEFINITELY be back!

My son went to town on the breakfast. We were there for an ISU football visit. He was beyond happy about the spread put out the morning of camp. Rooms weren’t fancy, but clean, well kept, and comfortable. An all around win!

Overall stay was good. Found dirty socks in our room that wasn’t ours. Very close to the campus of IL State. Little dated appearance in all.

Weird that coffee machine was in the niche inside bathroom, but not a deal breaker. Overall noise wihtin the room was low and could not hear neighbors. Carpet did feel and look a little dingy in the room, made sure to wear socks or slip ons. All the staff were friendly and courteous. Standard continental breakfast was available and lobby had coffee, water available throughout the day.

He went above and beyond the call of duty to make my seeming disaster at another hotel chain (comfort suites) a distant memory. I’d stay here forever if I didn’t have to go back to my family lol

Great place for the price. Old style CONCRETE interior walls between rooms. Very, Very quiet. Excellent, helpful staff. There are fancier places to stay, but this place provides all the basics at a great price. Interior Pool is great, it is huge. Pool has very nice 12-18" depth "toddler" pool too . Front Lobby was dirty, elevator panel broken, bathroom door broken, and we had to call for service on the toilet. We have stayed there before, but will not stay there again. Staff was not friendly. The feeling of everything being dirty and old. We didn't even eat breakfast there because it didn't look fresh and the floors in lobby were still dirty from the previous day.
