The cleanliness was worse than in the previous period. I left at 11 am to have my room cleaned. I returned to the hotel in the evening (June 10th). Only the towels had been changed. The sheets and pillowcases had not been changed. The sink was left dirty. Interestingly, despite there being no woman in the room, there were a few strands of women's hair in the bathroom. Furthermore, the cleaning staff (male) was generally banging on the door with a metal object, which was disturbing. The rooms are spacious, the hotel location is good, but the cleaning staff is weak.
- 2/5
Breakfast was the bright spot. Nice selection and great coffee always available. Rooms were OK and bed was comfortable. Good nightly rate for NY area. Two elevators were closed for maintenance the entire stay. The men's bathroom downstairs was not maintained. There was a toilet that had overflowed and feces on the floor. I told the front desk but didn't see anyone move to resolve it when I was at breakfast. The hallway carpeting was very old and worn. The hotel windows were filthy and hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long.

Great location, 7/24 coffee, large room, excellent experience

The only problem is poor wifi. Can't even watch television.

I really liked that it was close to downtown NYC, but at the same time in another whole city called North Bergen. I liked that there was free coffee all the time!!! Wish the property had paper plates stocked I had to go ask the front desk for one.
- 5/5
A great value-for-money hotel; the location and room size are excellent. Coffee and water are available 24 hours a day. The only drawback is that the windows in the rooms should be replaced with more insulated ones.

Very uncomfortable mattress with hard pillows. One side of the mattress firm and the other side sunked in... we only drank coffee so I don't know if the breakfast was any good.. unfortunately I have paid less in other places and got a real comfortable sleep. Not here.

It was a decent location 14 minutes away from New York 👌 the breakfast food was included it was good !
- 1/5
There were no garbage cans no cups or anything to drink with no phone in the room just nothing and I paid a lot of money for a couple of hours overnight horrible just horrible. I’ve never been to a hotel like this before. They have never been like this. I’ve been here some years ago. It was beautiful dishes in there you know travel mercies. This is horrible. Look like they switched over to look like a bunch of welfare recipients stayed at which is OK but come on now. Maybe have some other rooms set aside for people that’s traveling and don’t have to go through not having anything in their room mind you not even a coffee pot.

Racist, sexist and homophobic management make this a very dangerous place for many. Stay away from these people at all costs.
- 3.5/5
Breakfast counter handled by a single person only and the sitting location cleaning takes minimum 15 min otherwise we need to sit with dirty on the table. Couple of times did not get hot water and microwave also did not work.
- 0.5/5
Location was not bad and free parking It was extremely dirty. The shower was dull of stains and dirt. The sheets had strands of hair. It was definitely not cleaned. There was a foul smell on the hallway

Breakfast could’ve been longer
- 4/5
They’re improving and the breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Great stay! Will definitely be back again and the price was great.
- 5/5
Every body very nice with me, thanks to the team
- 4/5
The breakfast was okay, but do not expect it to replace a real meal. The price was amazing, and once they get the parking lot finished it will look a lot nicer from the outside. I do wish we had a microwave in our room.
- 5/5
The staff A plus. The nicest people. Everything from the elevators to the room, super clean. Great place to stay... I highly recommend. Plenty of parking
- 5/5
Es muy bonito muy limpio me gusto mucho la estancia
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful, the room was clean and they provided a lot of basic toiletries! On site parking was nice! Quick little 15 minute bus ride to NYC, lots of food nearby and they have menus in the lobby! Found a hidden gem for my trips to NYC, will be back :)
- 3/5
They getting stuff fix, but should be more clean, wall still glue residue on bathroom tiles, room floor dirty
- 4/5

10 minutes from NY, the breakfast could be better we stayed 4 days and the menu was the same wet scramble eggs bacon bites shredded cheese bread coffee juice. Suggestion add pancakes or waffles. It was clean
- 1/5
roaches
- 3/5
The floor had to much dust which I have alergy from dust and bathtub was not well cleaned
- 3/5
When we walked in there was dust and trash on the floor. Had to call maintenance to come and they cleaned the floor. Also, there was something strange on the light switch in the bathroom. I cleaned it but it was very sticky I didn't get it all off.
- 5/5
Room seemed to be brand new, everything was clean & comfortable.

La habitacion la limpiaban diario, la cama estaba super limpia.
- 3/5
The room and staff were good but the breakfast was very basic
- 4/5
Staff was friendly
- 2/5
The bed was comfortable but there was no hot water for a shower, a little cockroach crawled up the night stand by where I was sleeping, eggs were cold for breakfast and only one working elevator.
- 5/5
They never fail me this is my second home where I have my night with my partner for the simple fact we both live in different state so we travel to our destination which is here and spend quality time together till we go home
- 3/5
The room was clean and the people were OK. If you like yogourt for the breakfast it’s perfect for you!!
- 5/5
Great staff super nice and helpful. Large rooms ny nyc standards. Good hotel at great price (you get what you pay). Recommend for budget conscious no frills customers.
- 1/5
Despite no disturb sign some one came inside with master key and without the permissions. It was quite an awkward situation
- 3/5
Everything was going well until we realized that it took over 30 minutes for the water in the shower to get hot.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Very clean room. Only minor issue was that it was very busy so the breakfast food was usually gone before the 9:30 end of it. Usually 30-45 earlier
- 5/5
Clean rooms.
- 5/5
Muy buen lugar
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, rooms clean, comfortable beds and pillows. The walk to the bus stop is up hill but they offer a ride into NY for $10 per person that we utilized and walked back going down hill and was much better. Staff were all nice and helpful! Would stay here again.
- 1/5
Too noisy from road
- 1/5
I had an extremely unpleasant stay at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The property was noticeably dirty, with unclean common areas and a general lack of upkeep that made the entire place feel unhygienic. Noise was constant—doors slamming, people shouting in the halls, and no sense of quiet at any hour—making it impossible to rest. On top of that, the overpowering fragrance used throughout the hotel was overwhelming and actually triggered migraines, which made the stay even more miserable. The hotel was also ridiculously crowded; the front welcome area was so packed you could barely walk through it, and the continental breakfast was completely inaccessible due to the number of people. Between the filth, noise, crowds, and sensory overload, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Because of our experience the first night we did not stay the second night as planned.
- 1/5
I will be requesting a refund due to the conditions of the place. Elevators broken, the ones thats working are disgusting, I couldn't wait to leave and go check in another place. That place needs a major lift ASAP
- 5/5
The staff is very courteous and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Very good
- 4/5
hi, the room was fine. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean and the bathroom was clean. There was four elevators only 2 working I guess under construction I would imagine. I did notice in the bathtub could have some mats so no one slips I would think. The staff was very friendly. The lady in the cafeteria was very nice and working hard. Breakfast was decent and enough to get you going for the day.
- 1/5
Very dirty room. Had to pay $50 to check in early. Only had two elevators working and terrible drive ways and enters and exits from facility. Not enough room in the breakfast room. Room smelled horrible like a stink bug or a smoker and made all our stuff smell as well.
- 4/5
Bed was comfy. Construction was happening across the entire hotel.
- 4/5
Room great for my daughter and I
- 3/5
It wasn't the nicest
- 4/5
Great location, close to bus stops, friendly staff. Overall clean-ish rooms had a weird smell that never went away. Beds were comfy
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Great staff
- 2/5
Poor service with respect to the price they charge. Unprofessional. Although few of the staff were generous but apart from that I had a bad stay experience
- 3/5
Room is not really clean specifically bathtub. There is no cabinet to put our things in the bathroom for the price they charged they need to improve.
- 3/5
The room was clean, appropriate size. Need glasses or water for room. Ran out of hot water in shower. Staff friendly.
- 1/5
The hotel and entire surrounding area was under construction. The hotel smelled of cleaning chemicals, half of the elevators were broken, and there was not one floor of the hotel that wasn’t ripped up for construction. Our room smelled so strongly of a strange oder and there was so much noise all night. A baby crying, adults screaming outside and more. Glad the space is being renovated BUT there is a better way to time all the projects. I am upset that Expedia wasn’t able to support us in cancelling.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and staff were very attentive. The bus stop was only a 10 min walk from the hotel, very safe neighborhood with lots of tourists. Beds are comfy and bathrooms were spacious. Great location, close to NYC, would stay again!
- 4/5
It was so cold, Lobby was cold, dining area was cold . Food got cold quick.
- 3/5
Hotel was okay. I would not return. Breakfast was not good. It was frozen fake omelettes with croissants. As soon as we entered our room someone was smoking next to us, they move us to a new room different floor and the floor smelled like weed.
- 5/5
Room great Tv didn’t work well but besides that great
- 5/5
Very good
- 3/5
Okay condition.. bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed. 3 TV Channels. A lot of construction going on. Elevator was kind of scary. Other than that it was good.
- 1/5
The hotel must be going through renovations/ construction. The carpet was pulled up all throughout the hotel and leading up to my room. The elevators weren’t working and the ones that did work were unsafe due to construction. The floors of my hotel room were visibly dirty and the shower/ bathroom was disgustingly dirty as well. Save your money, it’s not worth it!
- 4/5
Nice and cooperative staff
- 3/5
there was no wardrobe in the room
- 1/5
Dirty room.
- 4/5
Really great for budget stay , safe parking space
- 4/5
The room was clean and nice. The remote had a sleep timer, but the sleep timer wouldn’t work. Breakfast sucked as there were no meats, literally just eggs and bread. The elevators were a little crazy due to maintenance, but they are looking good. Ice machines on every floor would be good.
- 1/5
Starting staff not friendly and speaking between them and I feel very uncomfortable, the room was not clean there was hair on the bathtub and on the toilet and the sink and we asked for a another room and was worse a lot of water in the bathroom and we have to wait for a second person to come because was only one at the front desk and they want us to check for the third time the third option, no thank you, we canceled the reservation ending one night only. The hotel lobby bad condition the elevator looks old ugly and dirty the Ramada is good but no this one, they are damaged the Ramada reputation is like 1 star hotel.
- 2/5
The Non-smoking room still smelled like someone smoked there. It needed a thorough cleaning. Even after staff told me not to smoke. I don’t smoke.
- 5/5
The rooms was nice and everyone was great
- 3/5
Room was clean, staff was good
- 3/5
Parking good. Bed comfortable. Hotel under construction . Mouse catch boxes on all floors. Wide space under room doors.
- 2/5
parking is available and A/C was okay
- 4/5
I really liked it, the only thing is that the TV was smart TV, but it was blocked without access to it. However, it was worth the price! To be clear, it was very good!
- 2/5
Rat traps was in hallway. Heater was broke. One side of elevators was out of service. Room cold. Short staffed. TV not working properly. I booked for two nights. I left on Tuesday evening due to the above issues.
- 1/5
The room and staff was just terrible. First the receptionist told us false information about when we could check in and none of the staff tried to do anything to make it right. When we finally checked in Tv kept losing signal so we could barely watch it and room service was very slow. Will not be staying again 0/10, do not recommend.

The staff was courteous, breakfast was great.. room is clean but the hotel is still going under renovations
- 1/5
Roaches in my room moldy smell coming from bathroom shower towels were not clean will never stay here again
- 2/5
The hotel was dirty, two of the elevators weren't working, it had a very poor appearance inside, and the surrounding area was filthy and smelly. It's not our first time staying at a Ramada hotel, but it is the first time I've been disappointed. The previous ones were fantastic, clean, and beautiful. I really didn't like this one.
- 2/5
Bad service
- 1/5
Extremely noisy inside the room and the window was as if not existing in terms of blocking noise from highway. We could not go asleep for two of the three nights. There is zero countertop space in the bathroom and you have to put your toothbrushes on top of the toilet tank. Not a single cup provided in the room, let alone bottled water or coffee maker. The toilet sounds like a jet engine when you flush and you will sure wake up people 2-3 rooms down the hall. If you are ok with all these, go ahead. Otherwise avoid it.
- 4/5
Just two service elevators
- 3/5
Compared to price every thing was OK, it was a budget frindly stay, bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Not the best location or view.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
They still have the construction o remodeling thing going on, besides that everything was perfect. I am quite sure when they finished with the Proyect it going to be so beautiful and perfect.
- 4/5
Yes
- 1/5
Extremely dirty hotel. Elevators didn’t work. Parking lot was littered with trash and shipping containers. Beds were rock hard. Didn’t stay the night. Drove home at 1am instead of staying the night.

Amazing place and price
- 1/5
Hygiene issue, no cleanliness maintained in the room, dust around and washrooms too were not cleaned. Not worth price and not recommendable
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 1/5
The hotel was under construction and renovation. I believe this should of be shared to us.
- 4/5
I stayed in one of the remodeled rooms, but understand that some of the floors are still undergoing renovations at this time. The hotel is remaining open during this construction. My room was clean and comfortable. The manager and staff were extremely nice. Workout room provided limited but sufficient machines. The 24/7 complimentary coffee/tea was nice. Breakfast room is clean, and offered complimentary scrambled eggs, croissants, danishes, toast, cereal, yogurt, and bananas--no other protein sources unfortunately. Seating is very limited in that room. For travel, Golden Eagle Shuttles provided daily trips into NYC for $10 per way, which was an incredible bargain.
- 3/5
Room was dirty
- 1/5
Only two out of the four elevators worked. One day, only one was working and we waited almost 20 minutes to for an elevator. Toilet in our room was not working properly. Went downstairs to report it. Was told they would send someone up right away. No one ever came to fix. Breakfast was an absolute joke.
- 5/5
Who really care? Over price hotel
- 2/5
There is a poor customer service with the house keeping people.
- 2/5
Hotel undergoing renovations but no mention of this online. Breakfast selection was poor to begin with and only got worst as each day passed. We stayed four nights and by Day 4. Bananas and danishes were gond
- 5/5
I loved everything!
- 1/5
Horrible hotel; we booked Ramada thinking it's a mid range hotel with decent pricing. We were horrified when we got there and it looked like we were in the middle of a construction site. The ceiling in the reception area looked like it was ready to fall down, two of the elevators were not in service, the other two looked scabby. Our room looked to the back, and it was full of garbage. Moreover, they were very cheap with towels, some of which had stains on them. I understnd they were in the middle of a renevation but then just close the hotel. I will never bood a Ramada by Wyndham again. Also very disappointed that expedia doesn't check what it's selling, so will avaid the site in the future.
- 2/5
The rooms were clean, but the hotel is underground renovation, lifts were boarded up it was scary, noisy construction around the hotel. Breakfast was limited options
- 5/5
Clean room & nice staff.
- 3/5
Breakfast was poor.
- 5/5
Nth v bf ty
- 5/5
Very Nice and convenient
- 4/5
The included breakfast was just ok, the scramble eggs every morning were cold had to be warmed up in the microwave, poor selection of pastries etc.
- 4/5
Staff was helpful and kind. Parking was very easy and available. Check in was fast and very organized.
- 3/5
Room is good, but not enough food at breakfast and the hotel smells of glue and paint.
- 5/5
There are no restaurants around the hotel but everything else was really nice ..
- 5/5
hotel was under renovation so some areas we not tidy
- 3/5
You can tell this property is still renovating. The rooms are the best part of the hotel.
- 4/5
The property was under construction on some floors.
- 5/5
It was an amazing experience at Ramada. I would highly recommend my friends and family to stay at this place.
- 5/5
It was good they are doing renovations so after full renovations it will be good. There are no issues in living in this hotel.. I read some negative reviews but overall I will say it’s decent place at genuine price..
- 4/5
Overall good. Clean. Under construction. Area is noisy. Walls are thin. Noise carries in rooms. But decently run. Staff was great and friendly.
- 5/5
The Ramada was rather nice had a very clean bathroom with towels for showering and for the sink. The room included a microwave and a mini fridge. Mine happen to have a King size bed was a little stiff but supportive. Service was very kind and ready to help when needed overall I would 100% recommend staying at the Ramada Hotel.
- 4/5
very convenient location and practical for what we needed to accomplish on our trip.
- 4/5
That said, the remodelled rooms are excellent - very neat and clean, contrary to many other reviews. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is par for the course. What really helps is they have a (paid) shuttle to NYC and back which makes the stay convenient.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Nice quiet , easy parking after you checked out
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Hygiene could be better. Towels looked well washed from outside. But there was a lot of hair when we started using it. Otherwise no complaints.
- 2/5
Room smelled of smoke. Dirty hall. One room had window that didnt close all way. Room were still not finished. Looks like someone was renovating but never finished
- 4/5
The two check in people on Friday were great .. but there was a bit of a language barrier. They suggested taxi services that after phone calls were made didn't materialize. The eatery was decent but you could tell it was on a low budget side. I was in property management before I retired so I know a little how this works. The hotel was under construction and had a strong smell of paint . My a.c. unit's grate was broken and had paint & spackle on the front of it. The lamp did not work. Towels were small. They went cheap on the shower walls with no inlay for soap or shampoo holdings. The shower head had dangling plumber's tape on it. The refrig unit wasn't even and bounced around. There were no cups in the room. Granted it was a less expensive room but no closet or hooks to hang clothes other than the three knobs coming out of the wall. There was no clock other than the microwave. After one housekeeping visit there were multiple hairs (I assume my own after a shower which I always try to wash down when done.) The outside needed major landscaping work and driveway work. I realize you can't clean windows but at least try for the inside one's. The eatery's juice dispenser was watered down. NO meat was offered a breakfast nor bagels with a refrig full of cream cheese. NO cabinet in the bathroom but a pedestal sink which was loose and wobbly. The hotel provided no receipt and said that was your responsibility. Really? In general the staff was nice.
- 4/5
The beds are very uncomfortable, I could hardly get any sleep the first night. Aside from that, the place was nice.
- 3/5
It was close to where we wanted to be but it is under renovation so lots of issues.
- 1/5
The floors were dirty
- 3/5
The AC was not cooling the room.
- 4/5
The hotel in the hallway is a little bit dirty
- 3/5
There were rats in the room.
- 4/5
floors. Hotel breakfast was very good. Having said this, I plan on coming back next year here if the prices are reasonable.
- 2/5
everything is a mess, housekeeping showed up at 5pm after we had gotten back all sweaty and tired. tv did not work, kept loosing signal??? no decent chair to set in, trying to set up in the bed, and it rolled away from the wall, rediculous. the tub is installed backwards, cant take a bath.
- 1/5
Just not good
- 5/5
Even is under remodelation the service was excellent in average, new and clean room and friendly staff. Recomended 100%.
- 5/5
Hotel is currently going through renovations but I expect it to be great. Location is convenient for cars and if you walk up this wild hill you can catch a local bus into the city. There’s a light rail not too far. American Dream is close. Family oriented. I leave reviews for places that are the best. So congrats Ramada for earning my review.
- 5/5
Service was awesome property was clean workers are friendly
- 5/5
It was good hotel
- 3/5
Go see your self. Actually I should be paid for staying there
- 5/5
Nice stay, near to NYC - Port Authority
- 5/5
Good and clean
- 5/5
rooms were nice and clean, building seemed still under construction. not complaining for the price tho
- 4/5
I would have liked having a refrigerator. Pools should be cleaned.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 1/5
1st off the while hotel was under construction. Everything was half done and garbage everywhere. 2nd, there are mice in the hotel. Learned that at 3 am my 1st night. Got into my lunch bag and for apart some snacks. 3rd, breakfast was horrible. Bread and eggs and some yogurt. Safe to say not the greatest place to stay.
- 5/5
Good hotel, near from NYC
- 5/5
Everything ok
- 2/5
However for us we had a little problem as we had rat in the room and he our food got spoiled and laptop wire.hope they will look into the matter.
- 3/5
Our stay was okay!
- 1/5
It was very bad experience. very dirty and old.
- 1/5
There was a RAT living in the hotel room. The cleaners were unfazed by this, as it was a normal occurrence
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 5/5
The place it’s very clean and nice
- 2/5
The hotel is in the middle of remodelling, it felt like the room had not been finished, there was cement and dust all over the bathroom, the bathtub was clogged and would not drain at all. The floor was very dusty. Front desk dismissed our complaints. Absolutely not worth $260 per night.
- 1/5
The towels and bed sheets are quite old and needs to be replaced.
- 1/5
On my last night, after getting a snack (prepackaged crackers and individually sealed cookies) a mouse hopped out of my suitcase and ran to the bathroom. I assume it used the small hole behind the toilet to get away. Several of the cookie wrappers had chew holes in them. I had informed Gina (sp?) at the front desk and she did offer a new room but as I was about to go to bed for my very early flight in the morning I chose to shut the bathroom door and stay put. There was no offer of compensation even after showing her the chewed wrappers.
- 4/5
Elevator takes forever but as it's in the middle of renovations, hopefully it'll get better. Lotnof noise innthe hallway from other customers.
- 3/5
The only partial nice thing was the beds were brand new. The hotel is in the middle renovations and it’s a mess on every floor. It’s like they working on parts of each floor versus just getting each floor complete and moving to the next. They only had 2 elevators operating for all 13 floors.
- 5/5
It was a great place to stay and close to NYC!
- 1/5
the property is under renovation.
- 5/5
Great staff very helpful
- 3/5
Average hotel, but suitable. A little rundown.
- 4/5
Really good stay, just recently renewed and it’s looking much better! Rooms are really good and breakfast was fantastic

Room smelled of smoke, tv didn’t work, phone didn’t work, only one working elevator, the staff seemed to be bothered when you asked a question, room was dirty. I can go on…
- 5/5
We stayed for 3 nights here and it was a very nice stay. They room prices were fair. The property is under construction so the maintenance is going on on all floors especially 2nd floor and elevators as well but there was no noise at all. Televisions were not connected to internet in all rooms which we confirmed but we didn’t watched it cuz were busy in travelling and get tired and sleep. But let me tell you. The rooms were 5 star worth. Though the breakfast was same every day but it was fresh and tasty. Loved it. Tea/coffee is free and available 24/7. Lots of space for parking. They also got a shuttle bus service from hotel to new york Times Square and back which can save you lots of time and effort in a very fair price but make sure to book in advance. Trust me you don’t want to take your car to nyc. It will be a nightmare. You can take your car to New Jersey state park ferry service instead of getting it from new york, if you want to travel to Statue of Liberty. It has big parking and its cheap. Anyway , the house keeping and staff were very polite, friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Would love to stay again. I know the time you ll read this message they ll fix most of the negatives which i mentioned cuz its a good brand. All in all 5 stars *****. Would love to visit again.

Couldn't pay me to stay there ever again

Water in shower was lukewarm. Building under construction. Toilet was not clean. Will neither recommend nor return to this hotel.
- 1/5
Under construction and not at all what it should be
- 4/5
Nice that they offer a shuttle, for a fee of course and happy to pay it, to times square
- 2/5
Did not like my stay it was not clean maybe because they are renovating but they should let you know when booking. On one side the rooms looked new but the side I was on it was terrible.
- 3/5
I did not like that it was under construction. It was dusty.

While it’s standard for hotels to verify ID and place a credit card on file for incidentals, this property’s process was alarming. The front desk agent took my ID and credit card into a back office without informing me, then returned having photocopied both without my consent. When I questioned this, I was told that was how they “take a deposit.” After expressing concern about the security of my financial and personal information, I was told I could leave a $100 cash deposit—but only if I wanted the photocopies of my documents returned. This felt coercive and highly inappropriate. There was no visible credit card terminal or any indication that credit card data was being securely processed. As if that wasn’t enough, the lobby smelled of cigarette smoke, the parking lot was obstructed by multiple shipping containers, making navigation difficult, and the lobby itself appeared dirty and poorly maintained. Combined with the dismissive attitude of the staff, I had no confidence in the safety or professionalism of the establishment. Fearing misuse of my information, I asked to cancel my reservation. I was told that because I had booked through a third-party site, I could not cancel or receive a refund, even though I had not checked in. I had to file a fraud report with my credit card company, cancel my card, and wait

All good

I chose this hotel and paid extra (from the other hotels in the area) for the amenities, only to discover upon check-in that the hotel was undergoing renovations and the amenities were closed. Additionally, I encountered issues with mice.
- 3/5
Clean basic hotel. Friendly staff.Good free coffee! Not fancy, but nice beds and close to the city without having to deal with driving and parking in the city.
- 1/5
Bottom line the hotel was a mess The final straw was when management decided to enter our room without permission, while a do not disturbe sign was hanging , while we were in the city . They called after the fact to tell us the smoke detector was beeping low battery , this was a bold face lie . Later they let it slip that they saw the gold fringe of the decoration my family hung for my birthday . They informed us that decorations were not allowed , this is listed no where in the rules or guest conduct . Stay away

Close down, hire professionals and stop doing the work yourselves. Maybe open the top floor restaurant/bar and fix your online address issues so Uber doesn’t go down the street to the other Ramada. Way too expensive for it to be looking like it does. Cannot recommend, and will not be staying here again.
- 4/5
There's currently construction happening and a train passes quite often so it's loud but i doubt there's really many quiet options out in NJ/NYC. It was pretty affordable and easy to get to the pier to head towards NYC. The staff were kind and helpful. I didn't personally eat the breakfast they served but i saw many people did. I suggest this place if you don't mind a little noise and need a place to stay.

Basically, the fact that we could not get an audio sound from a TV ...tried both or the two remotes and couldn't get to work...

This is the first bad review I’ve ever given. The room that I got was not what was advertised at all. There were cords hanging out wallpaper ripped mould in the bathroom. They are under construction, which is great, but my room was horrible.
- 5/5
They were doing repairers im every floor lots of debris
- 3/5
Under renovation we’re not informed about it, but the receptionist very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very limited not continental breakfast
- 4/5
It was ok for one night .. the staff was kind . 12 min walking to the bus stop in winter could be hard but the hotel was good.

Its still under renovation but for the price they are charging , its a good hotel to stay for couple of days. staff is friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Breakfast is okay but not bad
- 1/5
Do not stay here, they charge extra for a second vehicle but have a very big parking lot, halls are not clean. The elavators dont work properly, someone got stuck for hours.!
- 4/5
Old. The unit i had the doors slam. Breakfast included which is nice, but the food is below average. No amenities aside from wifi really. There’s a pay shuttle to manhattan
- 1/5
This hotel is far from luxurious as the ad states. I wasn't expecting it to be 5 stars but come on. The staff were rude and interruptive. I paid for a room for 5 people, but they only had 2 beds in there, plus they made me pay an extra $30 for a cot. The "Breakfast" was just a Jimmy Dean English egg muffin, a bland yogurt, and an old crusty croissant. And they tried to come into my room at like 3 in the morning, saying they were house keeping. They only had 2 elevators that were barely even working, and the smell of the place is so heinous that it makes a chicken farm smell like a bakery. I would give this place -5 stars if possible.
- 2/5
Basic facilities were not good… color combinations furniture and doors were in bad condition
- 3/5
Construction going on so bit dirty and rooms are very small
- 1/5
Do not stay here.
- 1/5
Dirty (0 breakfast)
- 1/5
I wish I had cancelled and booked in a different hotel. Clearly wasn’t worth the money I paid for the night.
- 2/5
the accommodations for 5 people as booked were not good. we had to incur the expense of a cot for the 5th traveller. the windows were dirty and looked unsafe and cold air came in. the bathroom was dirty and the celling in there was bubbling, the beds had missing boards and drawers, the chair cushion was filthy and the smell of disinfectant was overwhelming in the lobby and elevators, that it was hard to breathe. NOT worth almost $500 for the night. We asked for another room but not available and couldn't book anywhere else as nothing was available in the area we needed at a comparable price
- 1/5
The room was very poorly done. The beds were average comfort. The shower head was installed at the wrong end of the bathtub. Wall paper and carpet in the room were bubbled out. The th did not work, and the one bathroom light did not work. Cleanliness was below average at best. The cleaning staff was pleasant to talk to in the hallway, but the front desk customer service was short in responses and offers poor service at best. I would rank this as my second worst hotel experience I’ve had. I am not the most experienced traveler in the world, but average at least 5-10 hotel stays annually for the past 15 years.
- 1/5
Was an experience but will not stay there again.
- 2/5
Odor no good okd room old towels
- 1/5
Very poor customer service. When I arrived at the hotel after traveling all day, they had canceled my reservation.
- 4/5
Ok!
- 3/5
The property is older, and there were plenty of fixes that needed to be made to the room (torn wallpaper, chipped and stained table) but the price was great for a hotel 20 minutes from NYC three days before Christmas!!!
- 3/5
The poorest hotel I have ever stayed. The room was having outside wind blowing between two windows. There were leaking stains over the ceiling of room and bathroom. Bathroom sink missing drain cover, the blankets were too light. However the morning breakfast was the only thing we liked.
- 1/5
Supper dificult to go to manhattan, limited public transportation. The place very dirty. The surroundings very unsafe.
- 4/5
Cons: Breakfast disappointing, just few items.
- 1/5
Hotel was outdated and dirty.
- 2/5
The hotel is really hard to approach. It takes a long U turn to get to. Front desk is helpful, room service is bad. I can see the face eyelids from previous customers on the bed. The second day, I still see hair in bathtub even though they cleaned the room. The bed is so hard. The towels are so rough. Good things that they provided microwave in the room. Breakfast is poor with croissants, Cinnabons, toasts, old banana and apple. The door is noisy when opening and closing.
- 3/5
Decent enough rooms were clean
- 5/5
Great stay

I called almost 2 months in advance to cancel my reservation. Expedia said call the hotel the hotel said call Expedia....my reservation was never cancelled and i git told from the front desk it wasnt their problem i would not recommend staying here
- 2/5
The best thing was the shuttle into New York for 10 dollars. Other than that it wasn’t a great experience. We reserved a king room. But did not have a king bed. We were moved and the bed was a little larger but still not a king. They are also doing renovations so it’s not the best right now.
- 2/5
Completely disgusting for a Ramada hotel. If I could have cancelled and switched hotels I would have. Just awful in every way
- 4/5
This property is under construction. That being said, night stands were not on each side of the bed, the ac/heating unit blew direclty onto the bed with no way to move the air flow as well. Besides that, it was clean and quiet.
- 2/5
Dirty, no comforter blanket, window did not close (its winter), was noisy and staff wasnt very helpful.
- 4/5
It’s in the middle of 2 bus stops which are 20 minutes both ways 1 is along way round to a park and ride the other is up a hill not many shops around to get groceries but a good stay it’s good location for a quick stay
- 1/5
Place was a dump. Dirty, stains on rugs, painted walls missing paint and scratches. Trim broken.
- 4/5
Overall the experience was fine, rooms were just fine for over night stay.
- 4/5
It was a ok
- 1/5
The place is in a horrible inaccessible location, we realized too late. And they are in the midst of doing some work. The guy who checked us in was racial profiling us and put us in old rooms in the non-renovated floor. There were old rusty pipes in the hallways. One of the rooms didn’t have towels when we came and had to ask for it. It also didn’t have the duvet or comforter top on the beds. Lamps were missing bulbs and there are no accessible outlets to charge your gadgets with. Breakfast was a couple of pastries and a pre-packed Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. I honestly don’t know how this place is part of the Wyndham group. Luckily we only stayed a few hours: checked in late, checked out early. I guess we got what we paid for. If you’re only passing through and looking for a cheap place and you don’t mind motel-quality, you could try this place.
- 3/5
Not to mention that there were bath towels spread out on the floor in the main hallway due to a possible water leak. I wondered what they were going to do with the towels next.
- 2/5
The room had damage to the walls and paint patches everywhere. The noise level was loud from weight being slammed in the gym and people going to breakfast were loud and disruptive with kids. The vending machine was out of everything and charged $3 for a soda.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
Too much noisy
- 1/5
My review starts with the concierge, he should be removed, the women are very polite and helpful, congratulations to the café receptionist, but the receptionist who welcomed us was very rude, my non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke
- 1/5
Some staff were really rude (while others were actually polite). In the breakfast area there was a hole in the ceiling with some kind of liquid that dripped on to my table and the guest in front of me. Room was not clean and I found many stray hairs around. My bedframe had a big chunk missing from it.
- 1/5
Damage to all the walls in the room workmen on site at all times banging. Advertised as cooked breakfast which was not available. Mould on ceiling of room And room generally dirty
- 1/5
Stay away from them
- 1/5
I don't recommend it at all . It is not what you pay for...
- 4/5
Fairly average hotel with aging, basic room amenities that is doable for an overnight stay. There are shuttle services (not provided by the hotel) from the hotel into NYC in the morning but beware that the tickets can sell out.
- 5/5
Bed are really hard overall great place!
- 2/5
The place is dirty

The room was horribly dirty making it uncomfortable to live in even for a night.

- 4/5
Not the most fancy place but it has great service and clean rooms
- 2/5
Breakfast there is kind of a joke. Only offer frozen egg and cheese sandwiches that you have to microwave yourself and yogurt. My shower wouldn’t drain. All the elevators except for one were broken. Just not a good experience.
- 1/5
Suitable only for overnight stay
- 5/5
Thanks you and will visit again
- 1/5
Our window (covered by a curtain) was permanently lodged about an inch open letting in a lot of cold air and noise. Only one of three elevators were working and access to stairwells lead to staff only areas. Overall property is rundown, unsafe, and not clean.
- 1/5
All i can say is i wich i could give less than 1 star.

…
- 5/5
Excellent
- 1/5
It was just not nice, we booked for 5 people and we ended up with 4 beds, the staff told me their is no room for 5 people but on the booking it didn’t say anything that their won’t be an extra bed or we have to get another room because we all won’t fit. We found mouse running around and some bugs. For breakfast their was pretty much nothing, I will not recommend
- 2/5
It is a poorly maintained building and looks very old. The lift and the main entrance door of the hotel were not functioning during our stay, making it very uncomfortable. The staff just knocked and entered our room while we were sleeping. Terrible experience.
- 1/5
Staff midnight came inside the room without knocking thinking i was out but ran out as soon as he noticed i was in the room without any explanation. Definitely these guys are theifs all staff involved because when next morning i confronted they all started making excuses.
- 3/5
Average hotel with high price
- 3/5
The facilities and over all upkeep of the hotel needs improvement.

- 1/5
Feels like staying in the construction.
- 2/5
The hotel felt outdated and poorly maintained. Although there are four elevators, two were out of service, causing long wait times. Unfortunately, the stairs were also unavailable. The halls had an odd smell, and there were visible stains on the walls, ceiling, and carpet. Some amenities, like the bath towel rack and hair dryer, were not in good condition. However, the hotel staff were friendly and provided a good service.
