Reviews
The hotel generally receives positive reviews for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. The location is also praised for its convenience, particularly in relation to the highway. However, some guests have noted issues with the hotel's amenities, such as the WiFi and TV reception, and a few have mentioned a musty smell in the rooms.
- Cleanliness
- Comfortable beds
- Spotty WiFi and TV reception
- Musty smell in some rooms

Staff was great. The elevator need improvement. I was not aware a shuttle was not available so took an uber to the airport. Breakfast was ok. Best thing was the staff!
- 1/5
Great location and staff was very helpful. The room was old and musti. I had to wear shoes everywhere through the room because I felt like the rug was so iwas dirty. Thank goodness the bed felt very clean. The breakfast was OK but the eggs were disgusting.
- 3/5
The hotel was ok. There was an odd smell in the room like mildew from the ac / heat unit. Overall not a great experience for our family member with asthma.
- 1/5
Nothing anywhere in their materials disclosing this, and 8pm the night of the stay- before an early flight- was very unfortunate.
- 1/5
My wife made the reservation for an ADA compliant room. I checked us in. When we got to the room, it was NOT an ADA room and the person at the desk, Zack, told me the hotel doesn’t have ADA rooms. Even though it is within a short distance to the airport, they don’t shuttle service, they are not pet friendly.
- 5/5
The stuff is genuinely helpful. I recommend.
- 5/5
Check in was fast and efficient, rooms were clean and comfortable, slept well and definitely enjoyed my stay.
- 3/5
It was mid-level clean.
- 2/5
The room smelled like wet towels. Then the television didn’t work. Desk attendant’s solution was for us to change rooms. I should have changed rooms but we were already unpacked and settled in for the night. When took a shower the next morning the water was barely warm. Will not be returning to this hotel.
- 3.5/5
Comfortable stay, had two room for two nights, no problems friendly staff
- 3.5/5
I liked the location, the room was clean and the staff were all friendly. Breakfast was good as well. The pool was down the whole stay. Partly was I booked the hotel was because it had an indoor pool. The hotel furniture was out dated and most of it messed up.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly
- 3/5
The dining furniture was in extremely poor condition. The cushion coverings for all the chairs were tattered & torn. Food: no variety— waffles, eggs, pork sausage; oatmeal toppings were limited. Fresh fruit: only green apples. Yogurt: offered the least expensive option the red/white Yoplait. Room carpet needs cleaning. Water station didn’t consistently have lemons added. Great staff— facilities & breakfast need an upgrade.
- 4/5
You guys really need to refurnish the dining room chairs. That's pretty embarrassing
- 4/5
A good breakfast with a varied amount of food. The fitness room was also appreciated. The rooms were simply appointed. There could have been a little more personal care items for use in the room.
- 3/5
Basically an average every day hotel. All the seat cushions, where continental breakfast is served, are torn and in really bad shape.
- 3/5
It was ok, have stayed in better
- 3.5/5
Facilities are what you expect. Not fancy but the room looked and smelled clean and we had microwave and mini fridge in the room.
- 3/5
Beds were comfortable Evening staff sitting around watching tv as you come in the door. They did get up and assist people though. Heard maid staff complaining about timeline to have rooms cleaned by on Sunday
- 4/5
The room was clean but worn. There was a tear in the carpet and the fridge and coffee pot were all unplugged. You had to pull out the dresser to get anything reconnected.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Location was convenient. In need of a new washer and dryer. Cost of $16 and the clothes came out of the washer dripping wet and had to go to a laundromat to get clothes dry. Breakfast sausage were dry and overcooked.
- 4/5
Did not stay for breakfast but it looked pretty good & staff was very friendly.
- 0.5/5
They don’t let local rent out a room, not listed on the website !
- 3/5
Smell, cleaning, out dated
- 5/5
Convenient location, good breakfast
- 0.5/5
The fact that I made a reservation in advance the once I showed up I was told they canceled my reservation because I had a local address, which is false considering I have been living in the upstate since 2007. Then after sending me away saying they were fully booked called me several hours later to offer me my original room because they screwed up. Sorry to say would not recommend this place to anyone.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable

No

Will return

I love lamp
- 2.5/5
Would like to see meat options other than pork We were unable to use the pool because the pool room and pool water were freezing
- 4.5/5
Nothing

--- I was initially very anxious about this stay, as I haven’t traveled in years and this trip was especially meaningful. After a last-minute date change, I canceled most reservations but missed one and was charged a no-show fee. I contacted the hotel the same day, requesting a one-time exception to apply the charge to my upcoming stay. Over the next week, I called multiple times and was told a supervisor would follow up, but I never received a call. When I finally spoke to a supervisor the day before check-in, I was told the charge could not be applied. This lack of communication caused significant stress leading up to my trip. Thankfully, check-in was warm and welcoming, and checkout was smooth, though I was disappointed my situation wasn’t acknowledged. The room had several issues: the carpet was still wet upon arrival, leaving my socks soiled; the shower door was off track and nearly fell; and the Wi-Fi did not work during our stay despite being reset. There was no ice bucket, and toiletries were incomplete (no body wash). Breakfast was complimentary, with eggs, sausage, pastries, fruit, and cereal. The eggs sat in a bath of water, which was unappealing. I did enjoy the complimentary coffee each morning and night. The location was convenient, but overall, communication gaps and room conditions made the stay stressful and below expectations.
- 2/5
I ran out of hot water before I finished my shower. Nothing like a cold rinse! There was no soap in the shower, so I bathed with shampoo. The sink in the bathroom had a huge crack in it and several smaller ones. As I turned on the light for the first time, I spotted a small black beetle making its way across the floor. The walls are so thin we could hear conversations in the adjoining rooms. The mattress was lumpy, but the linens were clean. The breakfast was good, and we were pleased to see the waffle makers and very tasty muffins. All staff we came in contact with were friendly and nice. As we checked in, we were pleased to see a coffee bar also included teabags. We will never stay in this hotel again.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good for what it was. Clean room. Would stay again
- 4.5/5
The room was great. Staff was pleasant. Clean The furniture for breakfast was stripping. There wasnt a safe or hair dryer in room. And they had the tv on a politically charged cnn that only wants to devide the country. It made me very uncomfortable as we are a mixed family. Parking was a little packed and a left turn into parking lot is almost impossible.
- 0.5/5
I did not like anything, They refused to honor my reservation because I have a local address on my drivers license. I explained that I was moving to a new upstate address, was alll packed up and needed a place to sleep before continuing my move. They still refused to allow me to stay. They could have honored my reservation!
- 1/5
This is the worst place I’ve stayed at. The card key never worked the whole entire 4 days I was there. The room was disgusting. You cannot walk on the floor without having shoes or socks on the whole entire experience was horrible. I’ll never stay here again. It was dirty. It was just disgusting to stay there.
- 4/5
Very good fitness w dumbbells. Good not great breakfast. Older hotel. Noisy near airport
- 4.5/5
Pool was too cold to use
- 4/5
Breakfast was ok and we did not use the laundry service.
- 3/5
Clean but dated
- 5/5
Breakfast was the only downside that we encountered. Could use improvement.
- 4/5
The property was fine. The only issue I had regarded the WiFi which did not work. The attendant at the reception desk was no help. He said he would make some calls and get back to me, but he didn’t. I ended up contacting a technical help desk guy whose contact phone number was on a card in the room. After about 20 minutes of discussions with him, he finally provided me with direct access to the server and it worked fine. Just more trouble than I would expected.
- 5/5
The property was very clean, the rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The only problem we encountered was the hot water in the shower. The breakfast was limited but the area was very clean. I would stay there again.
- 2.5/5
The 1st room had dirty washcloths still hanging on the shower curtain, and dirty spots were on the sheets. The 2nd room was a lil better but the white washcloths were very dingy/dirty. They needed to be thrown away...
- 4/5
excellent staff extremely helpfull breakfast was good early greakfast ended at 9 am 10 would have been better
- 5/5
Needs lobby update but great otherwise
- 4.5/5
Compared to similar hotels, it stood out. Breakfast was amazing and facilities was great!
- 2/5
Rooms not very clean, rooms very old & dated dirty bathroom, breakfast area with all the chair worn & ripped
- 1/5
Okay
- 2/5
Room was way overpriced wall paper peeling walls in reception area. off chairs in buffet area very worn. Staff on personal phone asked me yo wait. No hot water and toilet wasn’t flushing
- 1/5
Hotel is old and dirty. Shares a tiny parking lot with Econo Lodge and Waffle House. It was so bad we cancelled our 2nd night and found a different hotel.
- 3/5
For an overnight stop it was fine. Water got warm-ish at best. AC was sufficient but not stellar. You are close to the approach path of the airport so a bit of noise. Breakfast was pretty forgettable. All in all it was okay for a fair price but not someplace I would choose for a longer term stay.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Clean room great staff
- 5/5
The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. Breakfast had plenty of food and was quickly replenished and there was ample seating. Check in and out was quick. Only drawback was not being able to turn left one main road to access restaurants and stores in that direction.
- 4/5
My room and the public areas were very clean. The staff members were welcoming and most seemed competent. The breakfast was just ok. My shower needed maintenance. The place was generally quiet and the other guests friendly.
- 5/5
Clean, nice room, hot shower, super qui re
- 1/5
I questioned the cleanliness of our room because we found a sock in the corner when we initially went to put our bags down.
- 2/5
I realize it was the big 10k race weekend, but this was the more over priced room I have ever paid for. The best thing about it, was the front desk person that checked me in. After that, all down hill. Room condition: outdated. Microwave looked burnt inside of it and smelled funny. Mini fridge froze everything, TV was small and picture quality was so-so. Worst part: bathroom. Turned shower water on and it was rusty colored water that took a couple minutes to clear up. Sink acted like there was air in the line, as it spurted water out. Toilet you had to hold it down and wait for it to flush and even then it didn’t all the time. I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and well equipped. Very comfortable stay for the price
- 5/5
Everything is good here
- 3/5
Decent basic hotel
- 3/5
Had to get door keys recoded 3 times.
- 1/5
No hot water for either stays, for any of my stay. Said something in November and was told that the system was getting upgraded.obviously not the case. So 3 freezing showers this past stay. Not ok
- 3/5
Breakfast really closes promptly at 9am. I was sitting in the breakfast area eating. I wanted to grab something for my husband who was still upstairs and they had almost everything cleaned up at 9:02am.
- 4/5
The location was good and convenient. The van the vending machine was not working during our stay. I did not see any fruit at the buffet doesn’t mean it wasn’t there.
- 5/5
Good, clean
- 5/5
Good location, clean room, good staff, quiet property
- 3/5
Breakfast was your standard waffles. Tasteless, scrambled eggs and sausage. Tasteless orange juice only apples for fruit so nothing special. I mean it was free so it’s OK but I’ve had much better ant other properties.
- 3/5
Our key we had to get redone and they both stopped working at one point.
- 4/5
Very clean, friendly staff, and very nice rooms. Only issues were the worn out chair in the breakfast area and the area around the property was very dirty and there was a lot of trash.
- 5/5
Clean,close to the airport
- 5/5
The hotel was in a very accessible location and we were able to find a number of good restaurants in the area.
- 3/5
Room was okay
- 5/5
Loved it. Very comfy & clean
- 5/5
Clean, nice staff, convenient location, and quiet.
- 3/5
The hotel was fine. Rooms were clean but showing its age. No complaints.
- 5/5
Room clean, staff friendly
- 5/5
Great reception, clean room
- 4/5
Nice place. Friendly staff. They will store luggage if you have the need.
- 3/5
Everything was ok. Would we stay there again? Maybe- we would rate this hotel a soft 3 or hard 2.5. It’s fine, nothing wrong. The beds were older with springs. The breakfast was ok. Did not appear to be in the best neighborhood. Not in the worst neighborhood either. This hotel is OK.
- 4/5
We had a generally pleasant stay at this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, although the lack of a free hotel shuttle was a disappointment (didn't realize this until after we booked and decided that we weren't going to rent a car at the airport). The only things keeping it from getting 5 stars was the weak water pressure in the shower and the severely overcooked sausage at breakfast. Check-in and check-out went well, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was clean and spacious. Overall and very good stay.
- 1/5
They did not have a room for me. All there rooms were sold out. I had to find another hotel room and pay cash. My confirmation number meant nothing. This was a waste of time and money. Please refund my $165.00.
- 5/5
Clean, quite, and great location.
- 3/5
The staff was courteous. There was a cockroach in my room.Very unhappy. Showed a picture to the front desk person. She simply asked for my room number. No apology at all.
- 4/5
The staff were pleasant to communicate with, the room was clean, and the location was great.
- 3/5
Ripped carpet and toilet knob needed to be adjusted or would run
- 4/5
The staff was great . The room was clean enough.
- 5/5
The hotel was conveniently located near highway and airport. Desk and breakfast staff were very nice. Coffee was available 24hours a day and lemon water in the evening was helpful. Our room was basic but clean with microwave and mini fridge. The cable didn’t work well but we were not in the room enough for it to impact
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, daily room service
- 4/5
It was the most comfortable bed and the pillows just the right filling for me
- 2/5
There was no body wash, only shampoo and conditioner. Also there was no hot water.
- 5/5
The staff and cleanliness of the room.
- 5/5
Clean room and amenities as described.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Staff was excellent. Room was clean and in good shape. Bed and pillows were very good.
- 3/5
The room was good to sleep in but the TV wasn’t a smart TV and the water pressure in the shower was really weak. The breakfast options were limited.
- 5/5
This hotel always has friendly staff and is clean. I have stayed several times. It is such a great value!
- 1/5
I am not able to rate anything. When I arrived at the hotel, the desk clerk told me that my reservation had been canceled - not by them. So I can only surmise it was canceled by you, Expedia. Since they could not give me the discount rate I was promised, I was forced to go to another hotel. It was very stressful and goes without saying (actually) that I won't be using Expedia again.
- 5/5
Breakfast was hot and fresh
- 5/5
Very good service.
- 3/5
The room was good besides the lights always flickering and cutting off by themselves. The water in the bathroom was never hot.
- 4/5
The room was organized and smell cleaned. The hot breakfast was a big sucess for us to save money. The pillows needs some improvement. The room key stoped working at some point, had to visit the front desk, the lady was just blah, not very welcoming. Other than that it was a good stay.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast. Donna at the front desk was nice & helpful. The pool was cold but clean & stocked with towels. Room was clean. Good value.
- 1/5
I live locally and made an online reservation but could not stay. Local customers can't stay unfortunately. I have never heard of this.
- 5/5
Good place for short stay
- 4/5
We loved so much.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay
- 5/5
Clean room, but not walkable to anything
- 5/5
Stay was very enjoyable!
- 5/5
Everything was clean and enjoyable
- 5/5
Really nice large room at an incredible price
- 4/5
Staff was really nice
- 5/5
Staff was great, room was very nice. Showerhead was plugged, so low water pressure. Shower doors were off the track. Otherwise, it was great!
- 2/5
Upon checkout the clerk said “oh”
- 5/5
Room was great, staff friendly, booking again!
- 1/5
I decided staying here would be comforting to ease my mind of the sadness at the local Comfort Inn. I went online to order a room. When i got there, i was told they do accept locals getting a room there. I wss flabbergasted. So much for the name of the hotel . Comfort was not allowed to help me. So ....i literally went next door which was literslly a few steps away and they accepted me. Alwsys went for years to Comfort Inn. Why the new rule? Ill never go back to one again.
- 4/5
We had a quick overnight stay to catch an early morning flight and it was perfect for that. Room was clean, AC was cold, and the room was very spacious.
- 5/5
Was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was good. The room was great. Would stay again.
- 1/5
The rooms are very out dated upon check in I always check beds I looked under the bed in our first room and there was a bed bug they later rented the room to someone else my new room had leftover party items behind the bed . The pool is not heated and it’s not clean the breakfast was decent when I told the GM she did have pest control come but, only for roaches when I showed the pest man my picture he said oh yea that’s a bed bug which I knew was the case just don’t stay here the parking is very small when i mentioned that a tractor trailer was taking up 6 spots and the hotel next door was owned by the same company and had enough parking the employee stated That she could do nothing about it and told me to park on the street but, to move my car in the morning because I would be towed in the morning it was a terrible stay now I have to spend extra money to have my items washed properly incase of roaches and bed bugs. I know this is not the ritz however I have stayed with the ritz plenty of times and had no issues and the hotels have been very nice this one is not and if you are a local you cannot stay here I seen a piece of paper on the counter the employee diamond is fantastic by the way other I did not feel rested the beds were hard and all beds need a mattress cover because they have stains I I felt so dirty there the GM did offer to refund one night but, only refunded 74 dollars and some change not a full nights stay which I did get
- 5/5
Great conditions
- 5/5
Excellent price. Convenient to historic Charleston.
- 3/5
My room had an extremely large gap in the door as if someone tried to pry the door open previously. I had to use towels to fill the gap in order to go to sleep
- 3/5
Room was adequate. Breakfast was ok. Not enough parking spots. Front desk staff was polite.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Coffee and water in lobby throughout the day. Good location.
- 5/5
The location was convenient, easy to find, had an onsite washer and dryer and friendly staff. The area didn't feel safe enough to walk out at night, but I didn't have any issues.
- 1/5
After the host got off the couch. Check In was a pain. Had confirmation number and because I wasn't there. They made it difficult for my wife. Stay in hotels all the time. Same way. Never had an issue.
- 2/5
Very "dated" facility. Breakfast was limited and lackluster. Room was not adequately stocked with toiletries and was musty. Carpets very worn, walls in need of repair, shower was horrible. All seating in breakfast area had holes and wear marks. Staff was "bothered" when contacted.
- 3/5
Carpet was dirty and sticky. Door security lock was broken.
- 5/5
One of the best low-budget hotels I’ve been to.
- 5/5
Quiet, quick access to area
- 1/5
My carpet was wet and the room was musty. I booked for 2 nights, but left early after one night due to the nasty room. Expedia did not refund my money for the 2nd night. Very disappointed
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Hotel is close to highway but room was quiet. Easy access to Charleston. Room was clean, breakfast was good and nicely presented. Room carpet needed some attention for an accessible room.
- 5/5
Staff is great. Check in was easy. Smell of the room not so good. Strong odor.
- 3/5
The sheets, although clean, did have some small holes, which I assumed were from wear and tear. In other hotels they would have been replaced. Also at issue, the room we were given was right across from the elevator, so too many night noises. I am wondering if this is a room where Expedia customers are placed due to less expensive pricing. Hotel parking lot appeared to have lots of space, indicating not a full hotel.
- 1/5
One wash cloth. Breakfast hostess was unfriendly. Dirty and run down. Chair seats in dining area worn and needed reupholstering. Needed to be vacuumed. Charged to use luggage cart.
- 5/5
Good times good staff
- 5/5
My stay was very pleasant. The staff members were very hospitable and the location was ideally close by to many shops and restaurants.
- 5/5
Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly
- 5/5
The property was close to the airport, the desk person (Chloe) was very attentive, warm, courteous and overall a fantastic clerk helping us in all our needs!
- 5/5
Hotel is old and dated..smells kind of “musky”. Staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was fine. Pool needed cleaning and treated. 8/24/25.
- 5/5
Super clean and well maintained. This was a very comfortable stay for us. The North Charleston Outlets Mall is just a few blocks away (where we had fun shopping). We would stay here again.
- 4/5
Nice valie
- 5/5
Met my needs for a 3-night stay in Charleston. Breakfast was a little on the simple side, as a toasted bagel would have been nice to have.
- 4/5
The hotel is beside a pretty rundown hotel l. When I realized I had booked beside that particular hotel I was not thrilled. With that being said I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness. 10-10 for value.
- 4/5
The staff was helpful and friendly. The property is right next to the interstate but surprisingly we didn't hear much of that type of noise. It is a dated property, next to other hotels of the same caliber. The first 2 nights our a/c unit was squeaking which was a bit annoying trying to sleep. we let the front desk know and they said they would send someone to look the following day when the maintenance person was in, they said they didn't hear anything which was odd, but it still squeaked that night. On the 3rd day we finally were offered to move rooms, and it miraculously stopped squeaking. If the gesture of a move was given immediately, that would have been helpful, but having to wait several days for a resolution, that luckily happened on its own, was a little frustrating. I do appreciate the woman who was trying to help us, but again an immediate move would have been preferable. Pool inside was nice and cool. Walkable to both Waffle House and bojangles if the breakfast there isn't cutting it for ya. I probably wouldn't stay there again, but overall it was okay, just not amazing.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Close to the interstate, eateries, and shopping. Great hotel. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The young woman that checked me in was so sweet. I didnt get her name, but she recommended a book, and i downloaded it... starting it tomorrow. Room was very clean. Hotel smelled really good too. Comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Everything was great I wish there was more breakfast food choices like yogurt, bacon, boiled eggs, grits, fruit, oatmeal, etc
- 4/5
Breakfast was minimalistic/continental but with a few options.
- 1/5
I had only one working light in my room which was the stove. No towels or wash rags. Only one pillow. No clean sheets. Couldn’t get ahold of anyone at the front desk they were “CLOSED” and I got charged a $200 fee on my card when I was only supposed to be charged a $1 holding fee
- 4/5
The was awesome for 6 days. I would go back again north charleston comfort inn
- 3/5
The location is very good, but I won't stay again because the staff was very rude, except for a young lady named Ryan. Upon arrival, the staff person (young, Hispanic women) informed me that the hotel system had been down an 1hr, and there was no way to check me in and if the system did not come back up, I'd have to find somewhere else to stay. When I told her that I'm not from SC, she was like, oh well. I told her that the hotel charged me for a deposit, which was proof of registration. Upset, I sat in my car for about 20 min, came back in to Ryan who easily solved the issue. Then upon check out, I asked the staff person, a slightly older Hispanic lady, if this visit was added to my hotel rewards. Perhaps she didn't understand my request yet proceeded to say that previous guests have used 'stolen rewards'. I found this incredibly offensive. Again, nice property, but I'll choose elsewhere.
- 5/5
The bed was very comfortable, clean
- 2/5
I did not feel safe in the area or hotel. Some of the clientele at breakfast could very well have been homeless by their clothes and lack of shoes! The fitness center lacked clean towels and was very limited. The pool did not look clean despite chlorine smell. I have used Confort Inns for years but probably won’t again. I chose this one for location to where I need to be for medical care but wish I had researched better.
- 5/5
Close to the airport and clean
- 4/5
Property was fine. Clean, nice staff, rooms showed age, breakfast was average
- 5/5
Chloe was the best. She was happy and had a huge smile.
- 3/5
air conditioner squeaks
- 2/5
I have stayed at this Hotel many of times and everything went well except this stay was a disaster! The first room i went in Rm 306 has mold in the bathroom and the king size bed looked unsafe so i was switch to Rm308 and that was no better. The AC was not working to it’s best ability and it felt like it was 90 degrees in that room. I will not stay at this hotel the next time i come to town!
- 4/5
Everything I needed, clean and comfortable. Decent location.
- 2/5
The refrigerator was not cold and sitting on a tray that did not allow the door to be opened. There was something on the mirror. Food stains on floor.
- 4/5
Everything was
- 3/5
Outdated and needs a good cleaning
- 3/5
Upon arrival at Friday 7/11 the young lady was cery welcoming and took care ofnmy needs promptly, for new pillowcases. However, upon exit the next morning at 4am, the young man saw water on the floor, i alerted him of the water and I stepped in it while pushing my luggage out the door., he looked up from his phone and said, "oh i saw that, I'll get it later" and went back to his phone.
- 4/5
I was up here on a business my truck broke down so i had to spend a few nights in the hotel alot of amenities was in walking distance quite area
- 5/5
The weekend stay at Choice just enhanced the getaway that my wife an I needed.
- 2/5
We had to wait a little while for check in. The room was dirty. We didn’t get to enjoy breakfast because it wasn’t out before we had to leave for my appointment. Bed was super uncomfortable. A/C smelled musky. There was hair all over the bathroom. Not a very good stay.
- 3/5
Very basic. Just to stay and walk away. Loud AC unit.
- 5/5
The room and the facility were very clean and looked to be recently updated. The staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel.
- 5/5
Great experience! We were in town to get an emergency passport! We had great customer service, easy check-in and room smelled really good. Front desk called to make sure room was ok, which I was suprised. Room was not nothing fancy but it was clean and it served its purpose. Morning staff were very couteous as well. Chair covers in area where breakfast is served are warn out, but other than that, we were pleased with our experience!
- 3/5

The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. Recommended local restaurants to visit.

Room was clean and had a nice smell. There was some mold around the tub but the rest of the room seemed clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok. The housekeeper did not knock and opened the door on my naked husband.

The hotel cancelled my reservation and said they called me but nobody called or left a voicemail on my phone and verified the number on file then said they were sold out

Definitely needs updates.

Parking lot was dirty. Room was a bit dark, but very clean.

The property was clean, quiet and an easy drive from the airport. Breakfast was good. We would stay here again.

The location was ideal for what I needed near, freeway access to get into town, but the motel behind it was sketchy and I don’t advise walking around alone. I would like to say that the few staff I interacted with were professional and one was concerned with me and my situation and I thank her for that. I used the restroom upon my arrival and the toilet overflowed into the hallway carpet. I reported it and one staff came up immediately and gave me a plunger to fix it, then moved me to a smaller room on the level below. That was fine, I am not picky and just needed a functioning room. It was ok until the neighboring rooms had guests who were up until 1-2am 2 of the 3 nights I was there. I put in headphones and tried to rest. When I flew home I experienced itchy legs and arms and realized I’d brought bed bugs with me so had to take care of that. I’d say for the money that I paid I should have just upgraded a little and stayed somewhere else. Disappointed.

The staff was absolutely fantastic. Good communication and an overall great stay

Rooms were motel 6ish. Tvs small not mounted , no streaming option and not across from beds. No bath tubs,. Just not what expected from a place with an 8.2 rating. Will not return to this location.

The room was great. Very clean room over all and comfortable bed. Only draw back was the pool. We picked the property for the indoor pool but it was freezing. No one was in the pool the entire time we were there.

This was a nice, quiet hotel. The lady at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was great-very comfortable and clean. We wanted to walk to get something to eat and found the area quite congested, but walkable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and rested very well.

Stayed here for one night for a dance competition. You shouldn’t expect much because it’s Charleston. Even the more expensive hotels are subpar. Arrived in the lobby and check in was pretty quick. They had a fan running in the hallway for some reason. Got into our room and did not feel clean at all. Like the usual minimal wipe down of furniture. Carpet was dirty. Some kind of residue left on one of the dressers. We have stayed at the hotel next door (econolodge I believe ) and it was cleaner than this one. Couldn’t say anything about the breakfast since we chose not to eat there. Overall average hotel. Will definitely book elsewhere for next year's competition.

Hotel of my choice

Very nice hotel definitely will stay there again

I got in from being on the road for 11 hrs as a truck driver and just wanted to relax. The convenience of Waffle House was the best part. Seeing that my job got me an uber from dropping off, I was able to walk and get dinner! And come back and be comfortable so that I can be up and ready for my flight at 5:50. Great great stay. Would recommend

Couldn’t ask for anything more for a two night stay. Room was clean, the pool was nice, property was quiet with convenient dining options close by.

Cons: Breakfast ends at 8:45. Make sure you do not sleep in and miss your eggs and sausage links! The small pool is freezing cold but I did put my feet in it after walking. If you are going to convention center be prepared to walk. We walked 20 miles in 3 days. My husband wanted to mention he called the front desk for batteries for the remote control. He was told the TV in 107 had been acting up and needed to be replaced and we may not have TV that night. I am glad he fixed it himself. Just go somewhere else.

Fantastic!

Everything was excellent except for the pool. For it to be an indoor pool, we never expected it to be ice cold. The kids played for as long as they could stand it. That's the only complaint we had. As soon as we got to our room and settled, the front desk called to check to see if we needed anything. Upon checking out, front desk was very friendly and asked how everything was and if they needed to do anything different and I just brought it to their attention about the pool! This hotel is very close to plenty of things to do!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed and shower were great! The toilet seat was loose and unsafe. The sink handle was loose. The bathroom floor was uneven and kept the door from closing properly. The refrigerator was loud all night. The room floor felt like carpet was all I was standing on outside the bathroom. The clock did not work.

Great

The property is next to a Waffle House and gas station. So there's a convenience aspect that's great. But it's next to a Waffle house and gas station. They could maybe up their game a little on the breakfast because the egg and cheese mashup looked artificial but the people are really nice and the place itself is super clean. If you're looking for the 4 Seasons you wouldn't even be reading this review.

Didn't like that I didn't get a paper receipt at check out. I thought, then, it would come via email, but none arrived. Strange!

Great stay.

Only issue was staff had to open door every time, since it was not working,

The TV didn't work for part of our stay. They didn't know how to fix it. Maintenance and head of house keeping had gone home.

The guests in the room next to us were absolutely screaming, cursing, banging on the walls until at least 330am and started back at 5am. I called the front desk at 1am to complain and ask if we could be moved to another room and they said they’d call over to that room and ask them to be quiet. That didn’t help at all, the noise and screaming never stopped. I did not sleep at all due to the noise. It was the first time my spouse and I have been to a hotel without our young children in 5 years and I didn’t get any sleep at all. They definitely could have done more or offered to move our room. I mentioned this at checkout. Of course I understand this is the fault of the noisy guests and not the hotel, but I felt they could have made a better effort to get us to another room so we could get some sleep.
