The whole stay was very good good.

Breakfast buffet was excellent including many choices such as fresh fruit and juice, numerous hot and cold selections. I arrived at 6:00 am and it was fully stocked and ready. Very comfy bed and strong hot shower. Shuttle to airport promptly at 7:00 a.m. as requested. I will return! A bit pricey but the only hotel nearby with airport shuttle as far as I could determine.

Superb

Close to lots of food and activities, and there is a shuttle to run you to the airport or coliseum. Very helpful staff and clean facilities with a great choice for breakfast. This was my second stay here and would stay again anytime I have an event in North Charleston.

Very clean and comfortable.

The staff was amazing, the breakfast was awesome, the room was clean but the toilet seat was sliding around and one of the beds was very lopsided. Overall, we enjoyed the stay just wished the maintenance was more attentive to the two issues mentioned.

The hotel from the moment you walked in was amazing. It was clean and smelled very nice. I loved the setting they had for our military also, I have never seen that before walking into a hotel. The room was very clean and the bathroom was stocked with everything we needed as well. Staff was very helpful and accommodated our needs with no issues whatsoever. The breakfast wasn’t great but it was complimentary I would 10/10 recommend this hotel and stay here again! Thank you

The gentleman that shuttled us from the airport was quick to arrive and very friendly. Sometimes shuttles can be awkward, but he made us feel comfortable.

The staff was super friendly and kind. The room was clean. It was unfortunate that the shower drained excruciatingly slow, which caused it to fill the bathtub, but we didn't know that until late into the night due to traveling and didn't want to cause a fuss. Breakfast was amazing.

The place was immaculate, the staff was ready to serve on demand. I truly enjoyed the experience.

Hotel felt clean, smelled good. EV (Tesla) charging on site (not supercharger).

The property and the rooms were well maintained. The room was clean and stocked . The staff was beyond pleasant and very helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel and will book again . The only thing that was not appealing were the cats hanging around the parking lot and on the sidewalk . They were not aggressive and seemed young . ( there were 4 that I counted)

Lovely room. Just feel the breakfast quality has declined over the years but greatly appreciate the complimentary water. And would appreciate a chest of drawers in room for people like us who have longer stays. But thank you for all you do!

We stayed night before heading to bluffton. We were very disappointed that no asked to help with our luggage & we had a lot ( 2 women in there 70s.)The guy behind the desk saw us struggling. The bathroom needed some help! They're supposed to have 24 hrs. Shuttle to & from the hotel. They sent two different lyft drivers instead , it was very confusing. It's a pretty hotel , but needs some tweaking.

Southern hospitality

The interior had beautiful Charleston charm with modern coastal decor and spacious rooms. The staff went over and above to ensure our stay was perfect. Good location and had nice outdoor amenities as well. Would definitely recommend!

I don't know about pets. The airport shuttle was easily found. Sunday night when I was returning my rental car to the airport they did not have a shuttle running so they volunteered a Lyft ride which made everything very easy.

The hotel's location is perfect. The property and room were clean and staff was exceptional.

The young lady at the desk was amazing in every respect..I quickly trusted her opinion for rides and eats. As we were leaving we noticed a jar of dog treats on the counter and wondered if they were pet friendly.

We were given a room right by the elevator. There was some terrible noise of an extractor or AC unit that was very loud. The mattress was lumpy and the AC is like a swamp unit. I am a light sleeper but I am paying to sleep.

Every thing was wonderful. I love the staff, breakfast, room and service. The only problem I have was the bathroom sink faucet has a low water pressure and barely comes out. Other than that, everything else is great.

I try to only stay at Hampton/Hilton properties. I just enjoy them. The entire staff was on hands and working, working, working.

A group of cats was near the dumpster across from the EV charging stations the entire 5 days of my stay so yea they’re pet friendly. lol.

Front desk staff was 50/50. The gentleman was outstanding and helpful but the manager lady was very rude and discouraging. Room was OK but loud due to proximity to the elevator noise.

I really like Hampton Inn and have been in quite a few but this one was the most attractive I have ever seen. Staff were so friendly, everything lovingly cared for. Am definitely going back.

Liked everything but the polyester bedspread

I will say the room refrigerators are too small, I needed to keep one of my medications frozen but there was no free later section. It would be nice to have a bigger refrigerator for the rooms. Otherwise it’s my favorite place to stay when I’m in town for work.

This was an exceptional experience in its price class. The hotel is extremely attractive. Lobby furniture and decor were comfortable, airy. Staff were so kind, attentive and professional. Breakfast was good quality and offered items for those who don’t eat red meat (chicken sausage patties were particularly appreciated). We just wish there had been a high-fiber cereal option. Our room was spotless, attractive, spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended!!

Doubletree on Northwoods Blvd., N. Charleston, SC. My first room the heating and air unit located in the bedroom was very noisy. The room that I was relocated to had 2 leaks by the window and the carpet was drenched; could not walk on that side of the bed. I reported it to the staff and supposedly it was reported to the General Manager but I have yet to receive a call back from them.

Best value for quality, convenience, amenities including free bottled water as much as you wanted (Wow!), bfast bag in case you missed serving hrs (or early check-out), and overall friendliness of the staff, esp. Makayla (sp?) at the front desk. The hotel had a modern feel, with a classic ambiance, and clean as a whistle throughout the property, minus a few smudges on the office chair in my suite. The wet bar was also a big plus! Couldn't have been happier, and I'm quite picky!

Friendly staff at the front desk for check in, and the cookies were a nice touch! Our room is clean, with a nice big tv, plenty of outlets and nice and bright! I hate a dim room. The bathroom is clean, love the large bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and love how bright it is. The beds are comfortable. Our room on the 3rd floor is quiet. My son forgot his toothbrush and the front desk was able to supply a replacement for him. We will likely stay here again as we will have to come into town for medical appointments and it’s close enough to MUSC without the hefty pricetag that goes with being in Charleston.

This hotel was the finest we stayed in during our recent vacation and I’m glad we spent the majority of our time there. The room was quiet, spacious and clean and the rest of the hotel was kept up very well. The staff was very nice and breakfast was great with many options. There was plenty of parking and location is convenient to highways and points of interest. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Convenient to highway and airport. Room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly, decent breakfast with choices. We had a king bed with a sofa bed for the kid and both were comfortable. Even good pillows. Pool was fine, we actually used it two days and was only lightly attended and it was nice they had pool towels. Only note: No big deal for me but some may need to bring own body wash/soap if you are particular as there is only shampoo and conditioner in shower. Surprise bonus was you could not hear airport/ airplanes flying nearby from hotel interior. We will use again next time we visit.

I paid for a suot with a handicapped bathroom, was not a handicap bathroom, they changed our room to a standard room, was still charged for the suit. Very upsetting.

We were very unhappy about the pool being closed. they said it was closed due to the possibility of a storm but when we went to go to the pool it was clear and blue sky. The storm never came our way.

The hotel is very nice. Comfortable bed, spacious room, good breakfast (more variety than most), nice staff. No complaints, except for the noise from the planes can be very loud. I’m not sure if it’s from commercial planes or Air Force base because both are close by, but it’s a lot louder than other hotels near airports. My husband found the noise soothing, but the first night it kept waking me up. We stayed 4 nights and I must have got used to it because the last couple nights it didn’t wake me. I would stay here again.

It was just okay, nothing great. Room service (towels, bedding) comes every other day, and we needed towels for showers on a day when housekeeping did not come. I called for shower towels and never received them, so I called again about 8 hours later and was told if I wanted towels I would have to come down to the lobby to get them. Apparently the first person I spoke with dropped the ball, and the second person I spoke with said she just started her shift and didn’t know anything about it. Anyway, it was just ok, not great, but not terrible
