    The pool was lovely. Upon arrival to this hotel I was completely ignored by the older white lady at the front desk and a black girl. They didn't even acknowledge me for nearly 3 minutes til I finally spoke to them and asked if I could check in. I was told I could wait lol! Neither one of them wanted to help me. So then when the white 'lady' got ready to work she proceeded to angrily check me in. She was actually shaking she was so angry. I'm really not sure what I did to piss this ugly thing off so bad but it was extremely off putting!!!! She told me they have breakfast from 6:30-9:30 but never mentioned it wasn't included. She literally didn't even speak to me handed me my keys and sent me on my way..what a couple of RUDE beeches y'all have working that front desk!!!!! Dispicable. Also she gave me the WORST possible room on the highway side of the hotel directly next to the elevator. She needs help!!!

    Pool access, although only one light in the entire pool area worked In the middle of my stay one of my rooms was given away to another person and that person got into the room at midnight and they locked out the person who was staying in the room to begin with and said that we were a no-show. We booked three rooms together and checked in on a Thursday and the other person somehow was booked into our room and got into our room at midnight on Saturday. I called the manager four separate times with no call back.

    The hotel maids made sure the rooms were very clean. The hotel sits in close proximity to many other venues. We a tentative concert at firefly distillery which was less than 10 minutes away.

    The lobby was beautiful. The room was comfortable but the staff was rude . The housekeepers never cleaned the room only put fresh towels in twice and we were there for 6 days . They left our room door open after leaving towels because the door did not close unless you pulled it very hard . The property was clean but parking was a challenge and staff was not nice at all .

    This Courtyard was a little below the standards of others I have stayed. The staff were helpful and very accommodating but seemed overwhelmed at times because of limited staffing. The room was clean but the trash at the property was not always emptied properly. I was surprised by the "community" microwaves in the icea areas. None in the rooms. Cafe was often understaffed. Hotel lobby computer out of order.

    The Property is in Charleston South Carolina is unprofessional,ghetto and despicable. The staff was unhelpful,disgusting,unprofessional. The rooms,were dirty, the management was unavailable and refused to assist. I arrived on a Wednesday, was given a room for a handicap person, broken toilets, rooms occupied for other guests. DO NOT visit this property and it absolutely disgusting!!

    No microwave in the room, there was one in the hallway that was absolutely disgusting on a table with 2 inches of dust, wish i would have took a picture of it. The bedside table wasnt wiped down good. It was glass so it showed the dirt smeared from where it was attempted to be wiped. Just over all questioned how cleaned the room really was.

    We were charged twice, had to dispute the charge through Booking.com. The property was older and showed wear and tear. It was a lot for 250+ a night. There was dust and dirt in the room. It didn’t look like it was properly cleaned. There were no bedbug protectors on the mattresses either.

    Location is about 15-20 min drive from historic Charleston, plantations, beaches… There is no fee for parking which was a great benefits. We checked in on Sunday, by Wednesday, housekeeping did not came to our room. Had to make a request with the front desk. Hotel could use some updating and the ride in the elevator was scary the first few times as it would take it forever for the doors to open once on the 1st floor.

    Seems to be struggling. The coffee maker still had previous users pod in it; there was a tiny bar of soap, one small tube of moisturizer, no shampoo or shower soap. No art on walls, hostess seemed unenthusiastic. Breakfast not included, so wonder if they are cutting back on amenities most hotels have. Have stayed in courtyard by Marriott in past years with fuller service and amenities.

    Parking was easy, staff was friendly. Not the cleanest. Bathroom /dressing area was incredibly small for two guest with ni privacy, terrible lighting. Alarm went off a few times, no announcement to confirm is false or actual situation. I was charged 100.00 in excess of the booking as reserves for incidentals, but hostess at front desk could not explain how these funds are held and when I would be credited. She just jept saying" yeah, we lifted it, it now up to your bank", what does that even mean???

    Despite a 3:00 check-in time, our room was not ready until after 10:00 PM. The staff did not offer any compensation other than free beverages from the lobby area. Several other guests were in the same situation. Once ready, our room, linens, and towels smelled like cigarettes. The room was warm and would not cool despite running the AC for hours. Due to the frantic work of the cleaning staff trying to prepare rooms for other guests, the hallways were loud late into the night

    My stay was highly unsatisfactory. The initial room assigned was visibly dirty. Traveling late at night with two babies and luggage, I had to return to the front desk and switch room, a major inconvenience. The second room was clean but full of problems: the phone line was dead (couldn't reach the front desk), the toilet flush wasn't working, there was no body wash, no water, and no microwave. Additionally, the overall room service was extremely poor. I do not recommend this hotel.

    The first room was dirty. Hair was in the shower, refrigerator did not work, no phone in the room, red dried food stains on carpet, bracket under air conditioner was off and laying on the floor, buttons to call elevator were not working, all but 1 ice machine was not working with no sign to tell where working ice machine was. They moved us to a second room that was supposedly cleaned. In this room there was food left in the refrigerator, stains in the shower, the shower doors had a 2" gap at the top corners and flooded the floor when water was turned on, the toilet tissue holder was nasty and had missing screws, there were stains on the bathroom floor about the size of a quarter, the carpet was sticky and paper towels had been stuffed in the strike plate on the door such that it would not latch, the latch on the balcony sliding door would not lock and there was no security rod for the sliding door. The thermostat on the wall did not work. A tractor trailer was parked outside with the refrigeration unit ran loudly. The front desk folks were friendly and tried to help. They were apologizing. If it was remodeled, it was very poorly done. They could not find a way to compensate us because we are not members of the rewards club.
