Perfect for our needs. Clean and great location near everything! Definitely would stay again!

The breakfast was good but the eggs tasted like fake but other than that it was fine. The staff we met was fine.

Clean, quiet, and close to restaurants & shopping. The breakfast hostess/attendant was very friendly & attentive, and the coffee station was available 24/7. It also had a small pond & wetland area, complete with an alligator & turtles! Nothing.

The property was very clean and well maintained. Reception staff very pleasant. The breakfast was ok- but very repetitive and ran out of certain items by 9pm at the weekend.

Everything about our stay was great. It was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The breakfast was great. The staff was very kind and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Quiet very clean location; friendly staff~ complimentary breakfast was marginal…good coffee & hot tea selection.

The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Quiet with room darkening shades to be able to sleep late. The hot breakfast could have been better with more choices. No bacon or waffles

Renovated property. Wonderful breakfast. Tuesday & Wednesday evenings the manager has a get together with some food/drink to meet guests (if you desire to attend) Staff was friendly and actually did their jobs. Great location near restaurants and stores. Try out the wonderful Italian restaurant within walking distance.

Great stay at Holiday Inn Express! The breakfast was a highlight—the cinnamon rolls and biscuits were soft, and the sausage gravy was delicious. The rooms were clean, check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the location is perfect with plenty of shopping and food options nearby. Would definitely stay again!

Room was clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. Even the coffee in the room was decent.

The floor we stayed on had just been remodeled and it’s super nice! The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel! And two nights that we were there the manager had a gathering in that same eating area and offered wine and snacks. Really very nice!

The room was clean but not happy to wake up and found a roach crawling on the walls. I know that are doing construction but still had me on edge all weekend, i don't want to being extra friends home.

However, it would have been nice to know that construction was being done and that it would sound like a construction site above our room. We tried to come back during the day to rest and while I understand it was business hours, I have several video recordings of the horrible noise coming from above our room that prevented us from resting. It was awful!

Nice spacious room with a desk and a desk chair, plus an extra chair and ottoman. And another ottoman or suitcase bench. It was clean and comfortable. Mini fridge has a small freezer section to keep ice pack frozen. Only thing was there was no USB charging port. We had to bring our own USB charging bases. That can be improved. Breakfast was well equipped. Biscuits were delicious! I'll definitely come back here again.

Room appeared that someone was sitting on the bed, watching the TV, that was still on. Used wash cloth on top of shower curtain. Cigarette burn on comforter, in non-smoking room.

This property was not the one I chose earlier this year, I was confused about the location. This location was okay but not memorable as the other in N. Charleston

The only complaint I had was we got in really late from a concert we attended and the fire alarm was beeping. The bed was a bit too firm for my likeness. However, everything else was great.

I was satisfied in every aspect. First of all, all the facilities were spotless. They were so clean that it felt like they were newly built or recently remodeled. The room and bathroom cleaning was immaculate, not a speck of dust could be seen. The breakfast had a wide variety of items, and everything was delicious. The automated pancake machine was also fun to watch. The coffee was excellent because there was an espresso machine that ground the beans right away. And above all, the staff was kind, which made my stay very satisfying. The only slight disappointment was that the TV didn't support Netflix or YouTube. If I stay in Charleston again, I'd like to stay here.

The area around the hotel is dated and old but the hotel can't do anything about it. Inside of the hotel was great. I didn't have any problems.

There was a seafood restaurant next door and others close by. There is also a movie theater in walking distance great breakfast options with some of the best coffee ever.

Clean, but a little dated. Most of the staff was nice, but there was one woman at the front desk that was quite surly. The TV gets basic channels, doesn’t have any way to stream from your phone.

The staff was friendly and helpful. There for the weekend and wanted to explore. They provided us with options for adventure as well as dining. The free breakfast was great!! More than muffins and fruit. Also having free Wi-Fi and pool and gym access was a plus!! Can't go wrong!!

Everything was great except we were disappointed that breakfast was not open at 6:30. We had an early morning commitment and hoped to eat before leaving but when we left at 6:40, the doors had still not been opened for breakfast. Besides that, we had a very comfortable stay.

Entire hotel was clean and well kept. Pool was quiet, and they had a good gym facility. All staff was helpful, pleasant, and on top of everything. Breakfast was good- with options. Will definitely stay again while in Charleston area.

Our room was very clean, staff very friendly.

The check-in process was quick and easy. The customer service was great. Having 2 elevators was a plus. The outside was clean, neat and within walking distance of the Mall. The room was very modern and clean. The hallways were bright and smelled fresh, not like another hotel I stayed in previously. The room contained a small fridge, iron, microwave, and coffee maker. The outdoor pool area was partially shaded by trees; however, each time I visited it there were no leaves in the pool. The breakfast bar contained pancakes, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, gravy, cheese omelets, sausage, muffins, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, and yogurt.

The room was very nice and clean as well as the bathroom. The breakfast had different items to choose from which was nice. The staff all seemed very friendly.

The hotel and room had a bad smell. Especially the room, it smelled stale or like it had been a smoking room at one point. There was a roach in the bathroom. The shower had a bath mat, which I felt was odd. The overall feel was dirty.

Best stay in a motel in a long time. Breakfast was really good and I would definitely stay there again.

Nothing that I didn't like. Holiday Inn is not known for bells and whistles at their facilities. You receive a decent night stay at a decent cost. The area doesn't appear to be the greatest.

The property was fine. Nothing exceptional or terrible. The AC unit didn't work well, so it felt damp, but the room was clean, and desk staff were friendly. The daily breakfast was fine. There weren't any dining options within walking distance. The area felt like it was in transition, with a lot of empty businesses. We rented a car as wanted to go around Charleston, so it didn't matter much for our experience in town, but it was more out of the way than I was expecting. (That's a me error, and not an issue with the hotel)

I left today from the hotel. I called a couple hours later before 11 am because I forgot shoes in the room and nobody called back or responded about the shoes. I had to call back for an update because they never got back to me. I’m pretty sure they stole my shoes or the cleaning people did because they were very expensive shoes from Louis Vuitton( I payed more for the shoes than the trip) and they never left the hotel room. Once I got home I could not find them anywhere. Don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Was not able to talk directly with housekeeping or any managers except for receptionist regarding the issue. Do not recommend

I did think the property was clean. I think the plugs and outlets could be updated. The front desk staff just looked like they wanted to go home. Not a real friendly vibe when you come or go. I just expect the customer service to be a bit better when you’re paying $200 a night to be there. I wouldn’t come back again mostly cause the hotel itself seems outdated and the staff were unpleasant.

Terrible customer services

Newly renovated & convenient to our destination. There was a nice nature bridge, but it was not well maintained. I did not like some of the adjacent properties that were not well maintained.

Hands down the cleanest hotel we have traveled to. I really appreciate the detail they put into making you feel comfortable. They have remodeled the hotel and it looks so fresh and new! This is our favorite place to stay in the area. Thanks for all you guys do for us! Wonderful safe location.

The place was nice, but under construction

Solid place to stay for the money. Large room that is clean. All good. Very convenient to the airport, lots of restaurants nearby. Roughly 15 minutes to downtown historic Charleston for a lot less money.

Nothing about this property I liked

It is hard to judge on cleanliness in the lobby because this hotel is under renovation, however, the room I stayed in was very clean and organized.

Property is going under some renovations, however the accommodations are clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff was very pleasant. Convenient location and a hop skip and jump to the airport. I will stay again and look forward to seeing the finished product after they renovate.

"I stayed over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the room and common areas. The cleanliness and amenities like the microwave and fridge were definitely to my liking. Also, the location was very convenient for dining and shopping needs. I will definitely use this place again next time I'm in the Charleston area.

Not only they gave us a smoked in room claming is non smoking but then we get awaken at 8am by housekeeping. When asked they just said i should of put a do not disturb sign eventhough check out time it at 11am. Terrible

We stayed for a couple of nights on our trip to Charleston. The room was fine and had nice amenities but we weren’t able to get the air cool enough. It was clean but the carpet was old and stained. There was also a smell to the room that we didn’t care for. Breakfast was good and had good options and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was a great location for our family trip for college graduation from CSU. The service was great, the hotel was clean and breakfast was good. We spent a little time around the pool which is a nice pretty area compared to other hotel pools. We will definitely stay here again when the need arises.

Hotel was adequate but really needs some cosmetic updates. Our room was clean but I was concerned with sitting on the other furniture and did not want to walk barefoot on the rug. It looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 70’s.
