Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, we discovered that the hotel was undergoing construction; however, this was not disclosed prior to booking, nor was the closure of the pool. Throughout our stay, the toilet in our room remained clogged, and it was extremely difficult to receive assistance from staff to have the issue resolved. In addition, our room was never serviced, and I had to visit the front desk personally to obtain clean towels. Overall, our experience was very disappointing due to the lack of communication regarding the construction, the unresolved maintenance issue, and the poor housekeeping service. Given these circumstances, I would like to respectfully request a full refund for our stay. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I planned this trip to stay at Comfort Suites with my family, and nowhere was it advertised that the pool was closed or that the hotel was under construction. During our stay, housekeeping never came to our room to clean, refresh the room, or provide clean towels. For three days, I had to repeatedly go to the front desk and ask for towels myself. When I brought this up, the staff claimed we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, which is impossible because we were never provided with one. To make matters worse, the toilet in our room continually backed up and would not flush properly. We had to request a plunger and deal with the issue ourselves throughout our stay. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We paid for amenities and services that were either unavailable or not provided. Given the multiple issues we encountered, I believe a partial refund of at least half of our stay would be appropriate.

This will work fine for a night or two on business but there are ongoing renovations so expect a little mess and out dated rooms.

Was a nice stay besides the construction going on in the kitchen area didn’t offer the best breakfast. Rooms were decent it was a quick stay and it was ok!!

Under construction, so there was a mess everywhere room had a bad smell. Then after check out, they charge me a $15 fee for makeup left on a wash rack where I washed my face off at night time.

Great spot easy to get to, the beds were comfy and the room when you opened the door you can smell the cleanness. Even when they were cleaning the room across from us you can smell the scent when they were mopping. The stay was excellemt. Room was nice clean and spacious for our families needs and the beds were comfortable enough since we cant bringnour own personal beds. Front desk staff was AMAZING we give 10 stars for the front desk staff upon out arrival on 02/26/2026. They accommodated our early check in needs even though they were sold out the night before. Housekeeping staff was friendly and curtious even with the launguage barrier as we dont speak spanish. Room had adequate seating for friends and family when visiting while we were checked in to the hotel during our stay. Breakfast was ok as well. Security and safety was sufficient as well. The wifi was good and held a strong signal which was important for us on this trip so that was a bonus as well. All around excellent stay and highly recommend to others to stay at whwn or if traveling in the Odessa, TX area!!!

Breakfast could’ve been a bit more

Clearly the painters had wadded up the draperies when they painted the room. They were re-installed with only some of the hooks attached to the rods, so they were drooping, sagging and deeply wrinkled. But the worst thing is that the shower could only put out water that was skin temperature (the lavatory got hot water), so showers were uncomfortable. When I told them about the shower, they sent maintenance and told me it was fixed, but the water was not any warmer. They offered to move me to another room, but since I was leaving the next day, I didn't want to pack, unpack and pack again. Oh, and instead of tiny bottles of shampoo, they now have little vinyl pouches. Can you imagine how hard it is to open a tiny vinyl pouch with no visible markings with wet hands? Had to get out of the shower, dry off my hands and get my glasses to see a tiny notch in the packaging. (I went and bought a bottle of shampoo.) All the employees were friendly and attentive, but even though this hotel is close to a work site I have to visit multiple times a year, I won't be back.

Property was a mess, apparently they were in the middle of renovations though I saw no sign of it other than room had patches in the walls, back door accessing side hallway was unsecure and unlocked entire time.Property indicated pets were allowed and when I arrived, they told me it was $50 per pet, this old and neglected room cost us $266. DO NOT STAY HERE>

I am a senior and I wouldn’t do anything like that I have stayed at motel before and never felt like the way it made me feel when I checked in

The property was in a great location. The staff was friendly. but the property is being remodeled. During the day it is noisy. The hot breakfast was not good. The eggs were dry and crusty even after they were immediately put out early in the morning. The biggest complaint I have is that you are limited on how much hot water you can use. After one short shower there isn't enough to use in any other sink. Also the shower head was not working properly. You also have NO control over the air conditioner/heater.

The location The room definitely had seen better days. The sofa was in need of a good clean, and the carpet had rips in several spots. It could use a makeover to really shine.

We got in late, front desk was not friendly,helpful and didnt care to elaborate in deposits and fees. Pretty much just said if they find damages they will charge my card more. Remind you it was already super late. We got up to the room and i was appalled at how the room was.. restroom was dirty and toilet seat still had pee stains from before... there was alot of scratches and dings on walls and furniture. I went to close curtains and they where stained dirty. A rip under the beds frame. Not to mention the bed covers were stained and riped. I took pictures and told my husband to call them then and there to make a notation. The lady told him we should of done it at time of getting in room after checking in was done and he said thats exactly what we are doing. we checked in late night. He said she wasnt too pleasant in the phone due to the call complaint.. . We were to tired to go look for another place in the middle of the night so we just sucked it up.. well i couldnt get any sleep due to walls being so thin and hearing whoever was next to us, there was footsteps and loud talking all night. Got up super early to catch somw breakfast but there was barely any choices and alot was not being replenished ,so gave up and just checked out and head back to hospital. Took photos and they dont show the justice of how back it was. Will not being going back.

Pretty good all around. Comfy bed, hot water, good wifi, safe. I was a little disappointed about the pool (closed but no one knows why) and the weight/fitness room has no AC so gets hot and stuffy.

Outside of my key, not working several times and having to go back downstairs to get it coded, their elevator hasn’t worked for at least the past two weeks so that was a lot of fun. The manager didn’t really seem to care about my issues and kept saying it’s not his fault And that there’s nothing she can do about it……pathetic

Place was clean however it was noisy - rooms with loud tvs on both sides and people on top floor running around and making noise until well after midnight. I was also charged double for a hand towel that had a minor-light makeup stain on it. Asked for the supposed picture of damaged towel that I was charged twice for and the towel had a small insignificant makeup stain. I would never recommend nor will I ever use this chain again for work purposes when traveling to Odessa.

The room didn't smell good. The towel holder was hanging out the wall. A little rust around the faucet in the tub. The walls in the bathroom needs some attention.

Our room was a complete nightmare. Toilet and shower were filthy. Smelled like puke. I tried to cancel the rooms but management would not approve. The receptionist was nice enough to get us another room after. This room was better however the hotel is run down. I would not recommend staying here

The location was good. The positives were the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was decent. Front office of staff was friendly. I chose this place after reading the reviews, but was disappointed in the fact that the room was pretty beat up.. The walls and furniture were moderate at best. It was a sweet room, but I definitely would have not sat on the couch because it looked dirty and not clean. The deposit was excessive almost double and equal to the cost of the room of what I have paid other places that were five times as nice. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t anything in the room worth $150 deposit.

My stay was very bad! I was not informed of fees for dirty towels. I was charged 85.00 for dirty towels. My advice for anyone staying here bring your on blankets and towels. Or just don’t stay here !

Check-in was fair not great. The clerk barely whispered had to continuously ask her to repeat herself. She didn’t tell me the room number or the WiFi name just handed me the card. The day of checkout I called downstairs and asked for towels to be brought up and was told I had to bring the dirty towels down in order to get new ones. I asked where was housekeeping that they could come get the dirty towels but it wasn’t my job to be bringing down dirty towels. I told her I would just go buy my own towels. When I left to go purchase towels I stopped by the desk and asked again and the clerk told me everyone should just know housekeeping doesn’t assist when someone is in the room. In my 41 years of living I have never been told that housekeeping can’t bring you CLEAN TOWELS! It’s a new day so CLEAN NEW TOWELS should always be warranted! I also recorded the encounter. After leaving I got a phone call from hotel stating they would now bring clean towels.

Our room was not ready. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom when we called to get one they told us we could go down and get one and hang it ourselves. Then when we checked out they charged us for a “damaged” washcloth. We did not damage any of their property. Definitely will not stay here again. Also the pool was “under construction” so we could not even use all the amenities they claim to have.

The hotel was older, the pool was out of order and was not listed under maintenance on the website. After check out, I started getting additional charges to my bank. I called the hotel and they told us it was because of damages to towels. Which is completely unheard of! I was told that there was blood and makeup on towels and they had no way to clean them. The towels was dirty because they were used to clean off the tables and night stand when we first got their( no blood). I did use a towel to dry my face after I removed makeup and I was told they don’t use bleach( but all towels and linens are white!) and they just throw them away. The front desk was literally ruining my card multiple times for random amounts. I called and told them not to run my card again. I drove back to the hotel and gave them $16 for one towel because he waive the other charges because the room wasn’t clean when we got there. Plus, there was old lettuce in the fridge that was there when we got our room. I have stayed at Comfort Suites hotels in many other states and I have never been charged for towel replacements or have had random charges ran on my credit card. I will never stay at this establishment again. We lived out of town and I think they waited hours to do this because I think they thought we would not notice but thankfully we were still in town when this happened!

Front desk staff is rude, I’ve stayed there several times and seen it consistently across several weeks and to multiple guests. Ended up moving locations since I’ll be working in the area for a while.

I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but we were not happy with this hotel stay. It had good online reviews, so we were really surprised how bad it was.

First room, the bathroom floor was sinking in and I was afraid we would go through the floor. Room was also very dirty and black on the walls and curtains. Was moved into a second room and the sheets and curtains were dirty. If we hadn't been traveling and needed sleep, would have left immediately. At checkout, no one was at the front desk for over 20 minutes so we left the key card and left.

It was ok for one night, but I was very disappointed in the fact that when my child and I were making up the let-out-couch it had blood on it. It freaked us out, so we basically had to put it together and deal with it. We got in so late from our outing that it was too late to do anything about it and we were super tired.

The bed was comfortable, room quiet, and there was plenty of hot water. One night, someone pulled the fire alarm (falsely.) Woke up and realized there was no phone on the nightstand, got up, turned on lights, found a phone on the desk, but the font on the phone for emergency numbers was so tiny and the light at the desk was so dim, I couldn't read the numbers to call and check. Realize this is not a regular occurrence, but my point is that the design of the room was perfunctory, and not well thought out.

Mrs Jordan was very helpful and made my check in and stay more comfortable. Enjoyed the stay overall!

Hotel had a horrible odor, had to purchase LYSOL to disinfect the room. Neighboring tenants were smoking in a supposedly "Non-Smoking" hotel. The front staff or management was extremely RUDE and not helpful.

Everything is good, only downside is that they allow pets in the rooms. Room in which we stayed has an area with carpet. Capet smells bad. I crack open the window and turn air on high to air out the room. Otherwise, employees are friendly. Food is good, towels and bedding are clean.

I have stayed at the Comfort Suites in Midland and they were awesome. My stay at the one in Odessa was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my entire life. My sheets had blood on them and when I asked the desk they said it was furniture polish. If that’s the truth why would you make a bed with stained sheets. The towels had blood on them and there was a wet washcloth sitting on the bathroom counter when I arrived in the room which made me think the room had not been cleaned since the last person stayed there. The AC didn’t work effectively so I asked for a room change which I was not given. They did change my sheets but by that time it was too late. I didn’t stay the second night because I was paranoid I would get bed bugs. I will never stay at comfort suites again after this. I also wrote into comfort suites to complain and they didn’t reply so obviously they don’t care either.

Our room smelled really bad. Our son found a mini individual wrapped cheese under the bed. Who knows how long it had been there for. We notified the attendant and she didn’t seem to care. The smell lingered for our entire stay. We even opened our window to let our room air. We didn’t spend much time in our room to say the least.

The rooms were very dingy and dirty. They upgraded one of our rooms because they literally gave us a key to a room where someone else was already staying. We walked into a room where someone else was staying because of this. The “upgrade” included a disgusting jetted bathtub in the sleeping area. I would never turn it on. Hot water was good and water pressure was good.

The bathroom floor under sink was a bit dirty. The flashing between floor and carpet is loose and I almost fell tripping over it. Door handle on bathroom door was loose and almost got trapped in the bathroom. Everything else was good.

Overall, this place was fine. The breakfast options were NOT, compared to other Comfort brand hotels we have stayed in. We decided to get breakfast at a local restaurant instead.

Sink in bathroom was dirty (the little drain on back of sink). Housekeeping not leaving enough wash clothes or towels. Did not make up room one day (didn't pick up trash, etc...). Breakfast was not great. What happened to biscuits and gravy? Bread and pastries were not well stocked.

When you pulled back the mattress there was all kinds of pubic hairs and a big white stain on the curtains.
