I am a contractor that does alot of work in midland Odessa area, and I always booki here because the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and when we stay a week or longer, house keeping always clean our rooms daily.

The room was clean, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. The bathroom shower taps could be cleaned better and the shower/tub was making awful loud cracking noises when I was taking a shower. I felt bad for the guests below us.

We always stay here they are like extended family to us at this point. Our children love Eli at the front desk. Someone thought it would be a smart idea to pull the fire alarm or set it off.

I was disappointed in the breakfast. It was a small area and not able to find room to serve myself. Area was to small and not enough room. Selection of items were very limited. Some of the items that were available did not compliment each other.

The room wasn't as clean as I would expect. There were stains on the sheets and towels. Some of the pillowcases were dingy color. The mattress pad was very dirty. The room next to ours we could hear every word they said until they went to bed at midnight. Kids were very noisy up and down the hall. Several times during the night we heard some kind of banging noise.

Front desk lady was not helpfully and did not care

Pricing, for a last minute decision, was what drew me to the hotel. The night check-in person that I dealt with was very respectful and professional. The bed was not comfortable (too firm). The AC in no our room didn’t work well (or possibly at all) a burning smell kept coming from it every time it “turned on” like the heater was on. The temperature (even with the AC on) stayed at 70. I requested late checkout, but the front desk lady said they don’t honor that (I did it through booking.com) how was I suppose to know that? I told the maid (who didn’t knock when she first entered the room) she came back an hour later (knocked then let herself in) the third time, the front desk lady came with her and she said “do y’all plan on leaving today? Because check out was at 11” she seemed rude about it and the maid wasn’t courteous. The maid only gave us 10 minutes to get ready and get out of the room. We were forced to pay for another night for a later checkout. Walls are thin, I could hear the guests on each side of me. No information about breakfast or tv guide in the room. The shower curtain was too short so water was all over the floor. The handle on the toilet would get stuck every time you flushed.

The staff were very courteous. The room was very clean and breakfast are was also kept clean. Excellent stay at a great price.

The location No blow dryer or iron in the room. We opened the curtains only to find that the window was broken on the outside glass. Guessing it was a double glass because the cold was not coming in but looked tacky.

Lots of things nearby but still tucked away quietly. Friendly staff. Reserved a room with the extra living space but did not get it. Room was non smoking but still had the odor. Bathroom seat was broken and door kept locking us out.

When I got my room, the people next to me were very loud, I was in a room with connecting doors and the noise barrier was not great. I was switched to a room that had no counting doors. It was much quieter but a new issue arose, the room was not to it's fully cleanliness potential. The sheets and towels were stained and questionable. To top it off I saw a few roaches scattered in the room and bathroom.

We were there 4 nights and never did they ask if we need anything. Our trash was bad.. my husband and I had to go dump it.

The hotel itself was a bit rundown but clean. All the lights were out in the parking lot making it feel unsafe. It is used more for work and long term stays, there were men hanging out by their vehicles so having decent lighting would make it feel safer. The breakfast was decent. Our toilet had the water shut off for some reason and had to be turned on everytime we wanted to flush. Probably will not stay here again.

The rooms are very old and not as clean as they appear online. The first one we got smelled like mildew and smoke so we had to move to a different room . Which was better that the toilet pressure in the room was an issue along with the shower being clogged. You run two days or just one day out there in Odessa. The pool is completely soiled. It wasn’t what it appeared on online either. The staff was really nice and helpful. I know it’s not them who came up with this idea, but most likely management, they ration out towels, if you need new ones, you have to give your old ones. It is a cheaper hotel, so it’s understandable. It’s not unbearable however it’s not the most comfortable either. But it’s doable if you’re staying for a short period of time.

The pool was green, which was just not a good site. The washer and dryer was out of order, all the equipment in the fitness room did not work

Wake up at 4am to doors slamming, and continued well into 8 am. Guess this is a hotel for the workers in the area. Great again… Getting things ready to check out and there was a bar from the bed sticking out. I caught my ankle on it and cut it. Ankle is swelling. I call front desk for staff she comes in tries to fix the bed. Tells me mngt will be in in 1/2 hr. I ask if elevator is working. Reply is no. Now I have to lug all my things back down 2 flights of steps with a sore ankle. Welp that was an hour ago. I have since had breakfast & no mngr. Figuring I’d get ice for the cooler since my drinks are hot now. Only to find out that ice machine on 1st floor is out. Traveling to another floor is not happening. This hotel needs some serious help! In whole I would never recommend it!

Shower was disgusting. There was absolutely no way it can be cleaned or has been cleaned from past guests. Floor was extremely slippery. Sink was insufficient.

First of all this is false advertisement. The room I picked clearly stated that it fitted 5 adults and showed two queen beds and a pull out couch. This was not the case. The couch wasn’t and there wasn’t enough room. Second we were there for a funeral and we had clothes to iron. We went downstairs to request an ironing board because we did not find one in our room. The person at the desk went to the back and the other worker asked us if we were sure there wasn’t one and then thought we didn’t here her when she told the other worker, “they must want to steal it”. 😡 not only that but then the worker followed us to the room. It was rude and accusing someone of something like and then making us feel dumb for asking when clearly we didn’t see one in our room. The breakfast was also very cold. Will not be returning.

Cleanliness of the room was okay. If the room has mirrors the least they could do is clean the mirrors. There was hand prints in different areas. The seat cushion on window was dirty (stains). Upon arrival there was an over powering smell. They had a plugin scent (perhaps to mask odors). The some towels are yellow and others are thin (over use and wash). The pool area was dirty and pool was green. Parking lot was ok, some areas taken over by weeds. Breakfast? There was no eggs, no protein, only thing was “oatmeal” that looked like gravy (Sunday and Monday). Employee said there was no food (@8:10am). No milk for cereal (Sunday). Milk on Monday for cereal was warm. Very disappointing, will not stay here ever.

The bathroom ceiling was leaking and has giant water spots all over the shower, the shower head was broken. The beds were so hard. They had no towels or wash clothes to give. I had one towel for three people, we had to buy towels and all our shower stuff. The rooms were not cleaned I found trash and hair all over the bathroom.

The room had a bad smell. The air conditioner didn't work. The fridge didn't work. We had only a couple of channels on the tv

Free continental breakfast is good, and usually starts at 6:30am till 9am but you have to get there before 6 if you want to get anything hot. Apples, oranges, biscuits and gravy, eggs, cereal, muffins, and Sausage Egg and Cheese croissants along with lemon water, coffee, apple juice and orange juice. The elevator hasnt been inspected since September 2023 and it shows signs of malfunction but staff cant (or wont) do anything about it. I had minor gripes about the place. The ones I do have are about the safety. Staff was always quick to fix any issues with the rooms though. Probably the best bang for your buck by staying here.

Needs an update on Expedia! This is our second stay, March 2024 was 1st and April 2024 was our second stay. They do not provide extra beds or playpens or cribs, unlike it says on Expedia, the elevator doesn’t work, according to google reviews it hasn’t worked since 5 years ago! Our room didn’t even have a fridge to keep our kids milk in. Cleanliness is okay but definitely not the best. We chose it a second time because of the decent price, can’t afford to pay 200 a night elsewhere.

Elevator was not working. Had to change rooms, went to room and was stuffy...a/c heater did not work. Since my card was swiped now have to wait days for refund!! Not happy.

The elevator was not working and it was extremely difficult to bring our suitcase up and down. We let the lobby person know of the issue and they laughed at us. The hotel stunk like weed and bleach. The room was dirty as well. And on the day of check out there were people fighting in the hallway. This place was awful and a waste of money.

The desk clerk was friendly but his appearance seemed unclean. The hallway floor had hair ties and water bottle caps strewn about. The desk surface in our room had a residue on it. It had beeen sprayed with something but not thoroughly wiped down. Desk area and chair were beat up. Hot water was excellent

You get what you pay for: dirty, clogged drain, elevator out, a not so good breakfast, limited towels and pillows.

The beds were nice and firm. Breakfast was not very good. No bacon sausage or eggs. The biscuits were cold and the gravy was plain and watery.

right from check in was more than slightly inconvenient to say the least. If you plan on staying here make sure you know how to negotiate stairwells. although they are wide and can accomodate, the elevator has been broken for more than 2 months and the owner has less than zero intentions of getting fixed. The microwave and coffee pots are unplugged from the wall and took couple minutes to figure that out. The closest outlet for the coffeepot was in the bathroom dangling over the sink as the cord is only about a foot long. The stariwell hasnt been vacuumed in God knows how long and smells mildewy. However the icing on the cake was at checkout. I worked overnight and needed to leave at 345am. I went down to check out and asked for my receipt. The clerk on duty told me 'i cant clock out until 5". Apparently thats when "the new day" begins. Normally I have VERY Easy needs for a motel, but the facilities are sorely lacking and the attitudes of the check in and check out staff there reflect that. The bed IS very comfy though I will give them that. If you need a place to crash for the night then its worth it, but i definitely wouldn't bring a family there for an extended stay

Elevator hasn't worked in months. Carpet looks like it hasn't been vacuumed. Drain in tub was clogged. Towels are supposed to be white not yellowish. The whole building smells of cigarette and mildew. Microtel should remove this owner's franchise.

The breakfast is bad

It is in a very good place, many facilities around, but, he says with breakfast included and what they give there is not breakfast, they are some snacks, and waffles, the elevator does not work, the cleaning is terrible, we were installed for 4 days and on the third day, I had to ask them to clean my room, otherwise they would not have done it, a single towel in the shower for two people, and when I asked for more the next day, I had to take the one I had used, otherwise they would not give me another one, I know they can offer better service for what they charge.

That elevator it wasn’t in service, no housekeeping, one towel for two people, it says breakfast included, but is no breakfast, they only had snacks and waffles,the heater and a/c weren’t work properly. In my opinion needs a lot of improvement.

Room 123, while asleep , a car crashes into my room causing me to be thrown out of bed and hurting my right leg , the hotel had no cameras to catch the suspects , they didn’t not offer medical help for my injuries

Check in was easy, location was ideal, bathroom and sheets were clean. These are all of the perks and amenities that this hotel offered. The biggest complaint that I have is the elevator was broken… not really a big deal but definitely extra work to tote everything up stairs for a weekend stay! However because the elevator was broken and the stairs were the only way to get in and out of the different levels it was non stop in and out and slamming of the “broken” door to the stairwell. Let me add that I was given the room right across the hall from this door. All night long when trying to sleep people in and out and the door is heavy and hard to open… once it’s opened it slams shut. The most miserable sleep I have tried to obtain in years. Bathroom light was more like candlelight… so no point in trying to put on makeup in there. Refrigerator was a big block of ice inside and froze our drinks. Cushions on the window seat were stained and looked dirty. I just can’t stress how terrible it was trying to sleep and to top it all off I’m sure the floor was softer than the bed. I do not typically leave reviews or complain… but instead I roll with the punches… but room 201 does not need to be booked to anyone until the elevator is in working conditions. Period!!!
