Conveniently located near freeway Room smelled like urine. Toilet was not seated to floor, and the bathtub was dirty, carpet was dirty. One of the worst motel’s I’ve ever been in. Will not ever stay in one again.

I had driven for 11 hours and was exhausted. Made a reservation for the wrong day. The front desk person Alex tried to assist me. Aftee a few moments the problem was resolved.

There was a crack pipe in the chair and dirty socks under the bed.

Burn spots on floor walls dirty sheets were old bathroom fan smoked then pooed and burnt smell didn't work again . Holes in the walls and the curtains had duct tape on them to cover hole. I would recommend not staying there at all. The outside wasn't to bad until walked out of room and saw a person 💩 on side of building between motel and waffle House. Never never again I'll stay at super 8 motel.

We only saw one staff member. He was at the front desk and very nice. Continental breakfast was a joke. Lousy coffee and a hostess Twinkie type pastry. For almost the same price or a few bucks more there’s much better quality in the area.

this super 8 is a role model of customer service. thanks Cash and 3shift gentleman (older) other visitor being loud and parking

Yes it was adequate, the parking lot was decent.

OK Web-site was awful. No way to figure out the locations and what interstate each was off. Exit numbers would be good. And no phone number was listed to call.

The staff was nice and efficient. The room clean and comfortable- seems a lot of renovations going on, so the property is in improvement mode. There was no handicapped access room, but, first floor worked well- no handicapped accoutrements in the bathroom though. The room had lovely decor, a comfy bed (my MOST IMPORTANT requirement). Nice TV/Microwave/ mini-fridge/ coffee pot/iron & board/ hair dryer. Plenty of plug-ins, a couple of them next to the bed. There is a Waffle House right there, attached to the parking lot- as the provided breakfast of carbs and coffee, may leave you wanting more. The worst feature in the room was the shower curtain rod had been pulled down/damaged and "quick repaired." Meaning it was usable, but looked bad. The bathroom itself was also quite tiny. Thankfully, the sink/vanity were outside the bathroom. Just an FYI- as I think any Motel has the capability to look sketchy- I never had a fear while I was there, but if you are the nervous-type, you might decide on another location, just to quell your anxiety.

The young bloke that checked us in was efficient. The bed was super soft. The room was tired and could do with a deep clean to get dust behind the bedhead and grime from behind the bathroom door but overall in general areas was clean and the room smelt fresh. The breakfast should just be advertised as free coffee or juice in the morning. There is no tea and the only food was pre-packaged danish. There was heaps of parking and the location did have some traffic noise as it is on a busy road right near the interstate. The breakfast is not really a breakfast.

We booked non-smoking room and the roon reeked of stale tobacco. Very dated and carpet ws stained. When I got up at night I noticed that someone had taped a plastic bag over the smoke detector, probably the last ppl who were smokers that rented the room.Surprised that housekeeping didn't catch this when cleaning the room. This is super dangerous and I notified the hotel clerk in the morning. Also no breakfast was avaiable as advertised, only coffee. Will never stay with Super 8 after this experience.
- 3/5
If you just need a clean, cheap place to crash, as an overnighter, this is for you. If you are looking for a fancy place to stay this is not it. While a continental breakfast is offered, it was minimal at best. Coffee, tea and prepackaged cinnamon rolls was all that was offered. Beds were just okay.
- 4/5
all good for a discount room.
- 4/5
It was clean and cozy. Value for money.

Rooms were disgusting. Carpet was nasty dirty. Shower was gross. Bedspread on bed was dirty.
- 1/5
The room smelled bad, i had to go buy air fresheners to be able to tolerate the smell. Food was left in the microwave and it was filthy like it had never been cleaned. There was someone else's clothes in the drawer. That let me know that the room had not been cleaned like it should. Lamp broken, blown bulbs in bathroom. I will never stay there again. Filthy, nasty, stinky hotel.
- 1/5
This was one of the most disgusting hotels I’ve stayed in. The carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed in months, the thick layer of dust on the furniture, the wobbly toilet, the disgusted stained tub. The moment I opened the door I was smacked in the face with the smell of cigarette even though I reserved a non-smoking room. The bedsheets had holes from cigarette burn. I could keep going with the things that were wrong with this place. Needless to say I will never stay here again.
- 1/5
The whole stay was horrible. Outdated rooms with chipped wall paint, dirty bathrooms and tubs. Moldy smells. Just horrible
- 1/5
we got there around 7:00 p.m. to check in we requested a non-smoking room as we walked in the room we immediately had to turn around and walk out I couldn't breathe it smelled horrible of cigarettes I requested another room person at the front desk didn't seem very happy about having to do this however we got the second room open the door and it was worse than the first this place was disgusting we never even brought in our luggage we decided to go rather than stay in the nasty rooms we left . You get what you pay for and this place is a dump. then to add insult to injury I was still charged by Expedia for the room even though I explained I didn't stay there so I'm disappointed in this hotel and in Expedia.
- 4/5
It was a clean place. There was an issue and it was resolved quickly.
- 2/5
Convenient location with gas, restaurants all within a half mile. Outdated hotel: worn furniture, shower, etc. Mini-fridge did not work, door did not completely seal.
- 1/5
This place was very dirty. You could see day light through the the gap in the door. I could not sleep.
- 4/5
The best beans on toast(flatbread) I've ever eaten. Rest of the place was average. Staff was nice though.
- 3/5
The key didn't work easily any of the time we tried to get in
- 3/5
Bed was comfortable. Entire room was clean. The room has a mildewy smell that does not go away. I bought febreze room deodorizer but it did not help. We had all necessities. The room needs renovation. Ex:Bath fixtures detached from wall .
- 2/5
The room was not cleaned the floor were dirty. When you walked barefoot your feet had dirt on them. Bathroom was not very clean. I don’t think I will ever stay at Super 8 again.
- 3/5
easy access to highways
- 3/5
Hotel was ok. Quick visit to see friends. Fair accommodations. Bed comfortable. Bathroom fair
- 1/5
The property looked uninviting. The room stinks like someone died, the chair was broke and there were ALOT of dead bugs in the tub
- 3/5
It was a basic room with two beds. This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel. Besides the fact that the carpets in these places always seem damp and the toilet had urine stains... it was OK. Just the basics.
- 4/5
Good value for the money. Staff was great. This is an older hotel, no longer pristine but clean and pleasant. One significant negative. No breakfast except packaged danish and coffee.
- 5/5

Dated and dingy definitely needs too be updated, looks like you walked into the 70's paired with the first flatscreen made, on an upnote i did not see any bugs.
- 2/5
Room was in terrible condition. Curtain rod broken. No towel rod. Room smelled terrible. Broken fixtures. Dirty tub, corners, room. Broken lock on front door. A very difficult experience with the front desk.
- 3/5
you get what you pay for.
- 1/5
this is the dirtiest room i ever stayed in. when i open the room, there's 2 flies, big spider web, few tiny bugs flying around. I found 3 different hairs color, shapes and length in the bath tub. the roller for the toilet tissue roll was so dirty that was too scare to use the tissue. i had to ask another new one for my own sake. the other roll was in bad shape. looked like that roll was wet. found hairs (hair and the other kind) on the mattress. i dont know if they change the sheet everytime for the new guess. really bed experience. anyhow, that was my experience with that room
- 1/5
Bathroom had mold and peeling paint. No coffee maker. Was told they were phasing them out. Dresser drawers were all broken
- 5/5
Amazing and quiet
- 4/5
You get what you pay for, the bathroom would kill the recommendation from a wife, or girlfriend, but descent from a bluecollar worker point of view.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and it was good for a quick stay. Tub was not clean though. Not terrible, but wasn’t wiped down well.
- 1/5
The sheets and towels were clean and the countertops and shower were clean. The carpets were disgusting with stains, mold, melted pieces. The furniture was also gross with the leather peeling off the desk chair, the dresser was covered in mold as if there had been a flood. The staff was friendly but super slow. The parking lot was full and finding safe spaces was difficult. I would definitely not recommend staying there.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 3/5
The light above the sink did not work. It took 10 minutes for the water to heat up for a shower. When you have customers coming in you should at least have heat/air running when they come to make it comfortable. It was in the 20s and the heat in the room was not even on. The breakfast consisted of prepackaged danish rolls, coffee and juice. If you are going to advertise breakfast you shluld have at least biscuits. The bed was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Always a pleasure staying with Super 8 in Ooltewah!
- 2/5
Breakfast was only a danish and coffee or juice. The bathroom in our room was very dirty, the carpet in the room was old with holes in it and the entire place is very run down. My kid dropped something and when he looked under the bed to get it there was trash and toys from previous guests.
- 3/5
Was a good stay...the carpets were definitely old...overall a good stay
- 1/5
Broken Table and drawers. Misrepresentations of breakfast include. It’s one danish and coffee. More of a snack than breakfast
- 4/5
Stayed one night. The king bed was great. A good basic place to lay your head.
- 4/5
the rooms needed an upgrade. paint was peeling in the bathroom
- 1/5
This place was absolutely horrible stains all over the bed cigarette holes on the covers a roach in the bathroom smelled horribly like marijuana. It was just an absolutely disaster and we booked two rooms for my daughter’s wedding and it was horrendous!!!! mold on the bad skirt of the bed. It was just oh my gosh, I do not want anybody else to have to go through what we went through…. And the people that were at the front was crazy yelling at the top of his lungs at two females because we was complaining about the nasty hotel and the nasty rooms refuse to give us our money back. Just wanted to keep switching rooms. Finally, we got a room that did not smell and was halfway decent
- 2/5
Room looked like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in awhile. Bedding was clean. Bathroom had mildew and door needed to be clean. The coffee pot was missing. Cleaning staff knocked on our door at 9 am, 2 hours before check out. Noise from other rooms and outside was an issue. Good location if you’re passing through but would not recommend for extended stay. Had we been traveling with children we would have asked for a refund.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay any time.
- 5/5
It is quiet here walking distance to restaurants gas stations near the interstate
- 3/5
The staff was great the building itself was rundown.
- 5/5
Stayed here in the past and it’s always good to stay here.
- 1/5
The people are nice. The place is extremely outdated. The room smalled horrible had a gross feeling Furniture was in poor condition. Probably the most disgusting room ive ever stayed in.
- 3/5
The room ok. There stains on the wall and in the bathroom. The bathroom door handle was broken. The curtain to block out the sun was hanging off the railing. It said it had free breakfast, but it only had coffee and a danish.
- 5/5
was what we wanted
- 1/5
What a dump! I will never stay at nother Super 8.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly, and the facility needs an upgrade. It was easy to travel to my place of business from the hotel.
- 5/5
You get what you pay for. And this one is cheaper than anything else on this exit. Solid crappy hotel for if you are working out of town and on a serious budget.
- 3/5
There were ants in my room but they weren’t bad so I just got ant traps from Walmart and it seemed to take care of them. They offered to switch my room but I’m not scared of a few sugar ants and what if the new room was worse? The room was also a non-smoking room but smelled like cigarette smoke and had a burn mark in the bedspread. When I reported it the next morning so I wouldn’t get charged for the smell or damage, the front desk clerk was so insistent on changing my bedspread I finally just agreed. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. But the room still smelled so bad I kept my Maid of Honor dress at the bride’s house so it wouldn’t smell on her wedding day. All the staff was super nice and friendly. The older gentleman working the night I checked in had a great sense of humor. The place is old but you get what you pay for.
- 3/5
Not much to see, it's just a motel
- 2/5
Brown recluse spiders. Carpet torn. Door would not lock or functioning properly. Unreturned deposit of $50.
- 1/5
When went to our room the first night, it was not clean and quite run down. We figured we can tolerate it. However, the next day when we came for our 2nd night, there were hundreds of ants all over the counter, on/in our personal items, etc. We told them at the desk, and they gave us the room next door, which was even dirtier and in worse condition. We saw a couple of bugs there, but at least no ant invasion this time. Super 8 as a chain seems to have really gone downhill. We will never stay at a Super 8 again.
- 2/5
Not a good place to stay. Very busy intersection.
- 2/5
Stay away. No idea how this place got such high marks on Orbitz. We rented 2 rooms. One smelled like smoke, the other smelled like funk. Had to buy Febreze. The rooms are old, holes in the sheetrock, you can tell there was flooding from the above room on the ceiling. The breakfast was horrible. The coffee was from a machine that spit out black coffee, then water, then coffee, then water.... the orange juice was undrinkable. The creamer for the coffee was spoiled and came out in a clump instead of a liquid. In the morning I opened the curtain some to let light in while I was getting ready and a male member of the housekeeping staff literally put his face in the window to peer in. Unbelievable. The office chair was peeling, the microwave and fridge were rusted and paint feeling, the toilet paper holder was broken, the shower was rusty. I don't recommend anyone stay here.

average overall
- 3/5
The room had a dank, musty smell due to dirty air filter on A/C and carpet needed an extreme cleaning.
- 4/5
The room was below average, the bathroom needs renovation badly
- 2/5
Convenient location. But dirty room, poor breakfast, morning interruptions by staff by phone and at door.
- 2/5
Pubic hair on the toilet seat as soon as you walk in. Smelled like smoke. the "breakfast" was a hostest cake and tiny cup for coffee with only half and half and powder creamer. The bed was soft , that was the only good thing really. $50 deposit thst they hold for 3 days so NO cheaper than a nicer hotel. just spend the money and stay elsewhere. not worth the savings.
- 4/5
Good place to stay . Friendly stall and great location
- 4/5
Very convenient to where we wanted. However, motel is showing its age and town is shaky. Staff was ready for us and housekeepers were pleasant
- 5/5
Great service at the desk and great price.
- 2/5
The bathroom so dirty e lot of dust.
- 3/5
It was easy in and out. Safe and dining choices.
- 4/5
Comfortable but room was well worn. Paint peeling etc. However for the price I would stay there again.
- 1/5
Horrible stench, filthy, and in bad shape
- 5/5
Nice stay for the price
- 4/5
The location was very good because of all the restaurants in the area. Just not a clean feeling room.
- 3/5
Able to have my dog but rooms and bedding are not updated and bedspreads had cigarette holes in them. Sheets were not in good condition. Room key worked every time. That is a bonus these days. Check in was super easy but would have preferred to not have cars parked in front of our room.
- 3/5
Ok
- 2/5
Our room was not vacuumed or dusted. Broken towel rod in the bathroom.
- 3/5
Was really disappointed with the Continental breakfast, coffee, juice and a hostess danish! That was it!
- 3/5
Text book 2 1/2 Stars. Needs painting and carpet. Bed was clean, bathroom was newer.
- 3/5
Bathroom area was shabby. No tea available.
- 3/5
Room was clean but shows age
- 2/5
A very poorly maintained room. Their “breakfast” option was a joke! Coffee and danish. I’ve stayed at many Super8s. This one is the worst. GFI receptacle by the loose from the wall, and the ground wire is not connect. So you can get majorly shock with GFI protection. The shower curtain rod twists down so the curtain does stay closed. If I stay here again I’ll wanna see the room first.
- 1/5
Place is dirty and smells bad.
- 1/5
Really wish I would have stayed somewhere else and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
- 1/5
Awful staff rude
- 3/5
The front office was great but the room had many things not working. The remote and water would not drain from tub
- 2/5
Only good thing... it's next to a Waffle House
- 1/5
I was gonna pay cash when i checked in and before i could get there they called and said either i pay with a card or the was going to give my room away. I get up and start packing up to leave to find my truck has been keyed very bad. We will never stay at this location again
- 3/5
Quick stop to rest on drive.
- 5/5
Cust Serv. rep that evening at desk was great. Bed looked like someone laid in it. Bath rag middle of bed.
- 5/5
We were told they do not have any!
- 4/5
A
- 5/5
Everything was stress free, plenty of room for my dog and the front desk staff was exceptional.
- 5/5
The property managers were great because Expedia never sent them my reservation information from last week's booking and lied to me saying they had been on the phone with them holding for 20 minutes on Saturday while the property manager had been there for 6 hours and told me he had received all incoming calls and none were from Expedia. He honored the Expedia rate anyway. Hotel was great. I have been using Expedia for over 20 years for flights, but I will NEVER use them again for hotel bookings. Beyond horrible.
- 2/5
The staff was very nice. The room itself was dirty and smelled wet/moldy. i was very disappointed. I have pictures if needed.
- 5/5
Room was cooled down and clean when we arrived
- 4/5
Good experience. Clean room. Will go back.
- 4/5
Maybe over priced for what it is. There were condition problems. It’s just a place to sleep and shower
- 1/5
The room I booked was a double non-smoking but I was given a smoking room. When I explained that the room was not what I was given I was told that they could not provide a different room or switch me to another hotel within the same branch. The comment that upset me most was that I was told that the room they were giving me was the one that smelled the least.
- 1/5
If we hadn’t just driven 14 hours straight and arrived at 11pm, we would have driven around to find anywhere else. The moment we stepped in the room we were met with a pungent, odor. Something between stale smoke and a retirement home. You could tell the entire room hasn’t had a proper cleaning in MONTHS. Dirt and dust caked im every corner & on every surface and ledge. The air conditioner was actually disgusting. Hair that wasn’t ours in the sink, shower and on the floor. Homeless people and addicts hanging around the parking lot made it feel unsafe the moment we pulled up. I can’t for the life of me understand how this motel had 7 stars but they couldn’t pay me to park in their parking lot, never mind stay in a room again. Go literally anywhere else.
- 3/5
Waffle House is on this property. There were homeless and addicts hanging around all the time. Tub wasn’t draining properly and the shower curtain rod was broke so the curtain would slide open all the time.
- 5/5
I was stopping in Chattanooga on a road trip from Philadelphia, PA to Houston TX and needed a basic place to stay for one night. Given the length of my drive, I arrived late and left early, so I needed something that was quick to get into and out of and could rely on being there no matter how late I arrived. This Super 8 met all my needs.
- 1/5
it had roaches on the walls and spiders in the beds
- 4/5
Ok but no breakfast.
- 4/5
It was fine for a night stay
- 5/5
The property is centrally located to where I needed to be.
- 2/5
Room smelled musty. Toilet was broken and I didn’t want to shower there either. The smell kept me up most of the night.
- 2/5
Our room was a nonsmoking room and had a strong smell of smoke.
