    We were told the pool would be open but was broke and closed. Food was not great, elevator was not working half of the time. Upstairs door to exit was completely pride open, and would not shut completely at the fire escape.

    Phone broke, never fixed. Light bulb went out, never replaced. Had to get our own linens when needed. Toilet overflowed and excess water was vacuumed out but floor was not properly cleaned or sanitized. They let it air dry instead of wiping the floor.

    We had a double room for 1 night and I slept like a baby. Air conditioner & Showers worked well and the breakfast was pretty good. Check in/out was easy. One of the double beds my kids used was a little dirty, but I would recommend again

    All the hallways smelled like marijuana. The pool was broken. The ice machine was broken. The front desk called five minutes after checking in saying we were too noisy, when all we did was roll our suitcases in. Beds lumpy. Will never stay here again.

    Stayed overnight last minute after a wedding. the parking lot leading up to the hotel smelled like weed, but thankfully inside it didn’t. The staff was accommodating and kind. The room was what I expected for the price. Beds were clean, the ac was a little loud but that helped cover any outside sounds. If the tv won’t work make sure the cable box is actually plugged in. The free breakfast was pretty good, your typical hotel breakfast fare.

    The door handle on the room didn't work properly and the door stuck. The mini refrigerator didn't work. It didn't get cold, and it smelled like a dead fish. It made the room reek. The breakfast was ridiculous. They didn't even have butter for toast or the waffles. The coffee machine was impossible to find for breakfast. The bathtub drain worked incredibly slowly. I showered and by the time I was done I was standing in six inches of water. Additionally, during our stay there was a tornado watch for several hours after we arrived. And then a tornado warning and the sirens were going off. There were no emergency instructions for tornadoes, and no notification from the staff. We sat in the bathroom. I chose a room with two queens. Those beds were full size, not queen. I sleep in a queen bed and there is enough room for two people. The beds in the room were definitely NOT queen size. Don't advertise that if it isn't true. The flooring was coming up in the bathroom. On top of the nasty fish smell the room reeked of marijuana. I understand it's legal, that isn't my problem. My issue is that my clothes and hair smelled of it, despite the fact that I don't partake. So all of my clothes now have to be washed thoroughly to get rid of the smell. I am grateful I had a room to sleep in during my trip, but for the price I paid, and the $50.00 deposit that ai didn't get back despite leaving the room cleaner than I found it, it was not even close to worth it.

    This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. There were used condoms under the bed and condom wrappers on the floor. There was a black bag of disgusting contraband under the bed. The sheets were stained and gross and the room smelled like a trap house. If gross room and a terrible breakfast are your thing then this is the place for you.

    Room door was extremely hard to open and even harder to lock. Security bar, screws were coming out. Never felt safe. Elevator was very rocky at times. It was a no smoking hotel yet it smelled like marijuana everywhere.

    My biggest issues were the other people staying in the hotel which is not something that can be fixed. Someone was banging on my door one morning looking for someone and it actually scared the crap out of me. It also didnt help that I was woken up every morning at 4:30 because i guess there was renovations foing on in the office which my room happened to be right next to. My TV also had some issues with the color. It started losing the red and turned everything green. Thankfully they were able to set me up with a new TV but it just took a bit as they were busy with another person in the office. All in all, it was a decent stay for the price. If you need an inexpensive hotel that is only about 10 minutes from the city it's the hotel you should book.

    The shower didn’t get hot, only room temp. The toilet struggled to flush, even just liquid. The bed was hard. There’s a couple weak spots in the floor. And they did biscuits and gravy for breakfast, everyday. Overall was very disappointed in my stay.

    We checked in around 10:30pm, finally got our 1 year old down for the night, woke up to an ear-splitting beeping sound that I assume was the fire alarm? But it went off for at least 10 minutes straight. We had moved into the hallway but there was only 1 other family in the hallway trying to figure out what was going on. Finally the “alarm” shut off and we tried to fall back asleep. About forty-five minutes later that “alarm” came back on for another minute before turning off again. No one explained what it was or if we had to evacuate. Made for a terrible first night.

    It was overpowering. We had to keep the door open just to stay in the room. It also appeared someone had poured the same smelly liquid into the heater. Air conditioning unit.     The property was not well kept. It was noisy at 3:00am and My daughter and I did not feel very safe going during our stay. The room was somewhat clean but not well kept. Faucet would not stop running and the A/C did not work well. The employees were not very friendly, not rude, but not friendly. Overall it was not a great experience.

    This hotel look and smell more like a motel with a 32 inch tv. The microwave dont work and they only give you two towels when you book a double bed. When you call for room service and ask for more towels they make you come down to the front desk.

    First the tv didnt work and the front desk clerk took 25 minutes to come look at it because he was busy in the parking lot playing on a skateboard. I had to go out and ask him a 2nd time to come look at it. Next, the bed felt like we were sleeping on a slab of concrete. Lastly, i am 6'4 and the shower head is only 5'6 from the tub floor. I took a shower on my knees.

    The food was really good. The condition of the room was below average. When I first walked in, it smelled “wet” like a smelly water smell. The fridge wasn’t cleaned out that well. And the bathtub was pretty bad. But I guess you get what you pay for. The perks were that everything was pretty tidy aside from the tub. I definitely recommend this hotel as a last resort type of stay, but at least I didn’t catch bedbugs.

    We were there for a softball tournament and a week and a half before the reservation, I found out that we did not need a Saturday night stay. I called the hotel to adjust it and was told that I could not make any changes to the reservation without penalty. I also tried calling Hotels.com and they were unsuccessful in speaking with the hotel to get the reservation adjusted by one night. There was police activity in the area on Friday night. Children being allowed to run up and down the hallways, no parental or management supervision. We had family staying at the Marriott across the way, and people from our hotel were causing a disturbance at the Marriott to the point to where police were called. Won’t stay again.

    It was kind of comfortable. They changed out our fridge immediately when mentioning it not working well. They even offered new room. There were blood marks in the door which kind of threw us off. It had slight smell. Their washer and dryer did not work. But overall we had good service and comfortable enough to stay the 2 nights.

    Hotel was ok. Room was extremely small but in ok condition. Problem was multiple people sitting in there cars after dark smoking pot. You could smell it as soon as you opened the hotel door. Then we noticed the multiple cars with people just sitting in the cars with smoke rolling out the windows.

    very outdated in need of a major updates the elevator was broken. The fitness center was atrocious. I haven’t seen those kind of dumbbells since the 80s , all 2 of them. All 3 of the cardio equipment pieces had some kind of malfunction.

    I had a weekend stay in Peoria and had booked a reservation at another hotel but did not stay there because it was too dirty for my liking. Luckily, I was able to get a room in Baymont before it was night time. I can definitely say that it was more decent than many of the other hotels in the area. However, I think there is a need to work on more cleanliness in the rooms and reduced noise levels from other occupants after certain times of the day. I particularly appreciated the assistance from manager Ravi who helped with my luggage and dropped me off at the shopping mall after I had checked out. Thanks again, Ravi!

    I have always found this location (Peoria, IL) to be extremely friendly. They are very welcoming. Their hotel is very clean ... And I can't wait for warm weather so I can enjoy the beautiful pool! The breakfast buffer is very well stocked and professionally cared for. All-in-all, I give tthe Baymont a 10/10 rating!

    Absolute disaster. An elevator thats last safety insepction was expired last November. Rooms dirty, sjeets looked like they were slept on. Toe nails in the carpet. Vending and ice machines not working. Locks and doors not functioning. Toilest leaking every time they are flushed. Absolutely horrible.

    The elevator safety inspection was expired. There was no hot water the first night. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The heater/ac made a horrible racket every time it turned on, waking everyone. There was a hard, crusty stain on the carpet.

    The hallways, elevator were filthy. The room was clean enough. The refrigerator wasnt very cold. The complnentary breakfast was sparce. The muffins tasteless. We were glad to only stay 1 nite.

    I was at the hospital all day with my grandson and kept texting to see if they got water. I agree to pay first night as its not yhier fault, but i couldnt stay second night and so not refunding that is horrible and greedy. Ill never stay there again and will tell all i know

    I booked a king suite with a pull out sofa as the 2nd bed. We picked this hotel because it said they had a open pool (during February) at check in they said pool was outdoor only. 1st room- TVs were broken , they moved us. 2nd room smelled SO bad of smoke/weed. 3rd room was only/last option. Room had a broken futon instead of a pull out couch. It increasingly smelled worse and worse as the night went on - the smell of weed was coming in through the air vents. TV was broken, fridge and microwave were missing from room, shower handle was broken, tub wouldn’t drain, there were human hairs on the shower walls. Guests above us were SO loud all night. Front desk staff was nice- but said problems needed to be taken up with hotels.com since we booked with the website and not with them directly. Drywall/ceiling had broken/wet sagging areas in each room.

    Breakfast was better than I was expecting. The heat was off when we arrived . Since it was zero outside it took quite a while to get the temp up to a comfortable level. There was a drip in the bathroom ceiling, fortunately it dripped into the stool, didn't last too long. I assumed it was from the tub from the room above us. Started at 6:00 a.m. Could see daylight under the door as half of the door sweep was missing. Used a towel to keep tho cold draft out.

    I had a one-night stay in the jacuzzi suite, and while the water heater was not functioning properly, I was impressed by the hotel’s response. After discussing my concerns with Raj at checkout, he assured me he would speak to his manager about the issue. To my surprise, he followed up with a call later and offered me a complimentary night for the inconvenience—something I didn’t expect as I booked through a third-party site. Despite the initial disappointment, I truly appreciate Raj’s effort to make things right.

    The first thing we saw was an inebriated woman bleeding from the mouth. Yes, that cant be controlled but definitely scared my i year old. The floor was caving in on both sides of the air conditioner. Had a funky smell. Just not a pleasant experience. Will not be returned

    Now the bad. First thing that happened was when i opened the door & turned on the light a few bugs went running behind the tv stand. And there were a few more in the bathroom when i went in there. Nit sure what they were, but bugs are not acceptable. Probably wont give this chain another try - back to overpriced Holiday Inn for me.

    The room was clean and well appointed. The motel advertises a free shuttle with a 3 day notice. When I arrived, I called the motel and the clerk said the shuttle had been there an hour and came back. It was 2 hours till I was picked up by the janitor in his car. He was very kind. Going back, I almost missed my plane as the shuttle would not start and it had to be serviced. The shuttle service gets a F!

    Television connection wasn't stable due to the bandwidth of the hotel. Shower head wasn't present in the shower, I addressed the issue to the staff at the end of the stay though I have no idea if the problem has been solved, much like the closed pool which was murky.

    Customer service is not very friendly front desk agents do not listen when you're talking they just try to shoot you away for they have very smart remarks to your comments or making conversation. When you try to correct them they don't feel wrong even when they find out they wrong they still don't apologize not all of them but majority of them are rude

    Wouldn’t recommend staying at this run down property. They do ask for a $200 cleaning/smoking deposit that Expedia does not mention. Seemed like they did try to update property. but it’s all half ass work. WiFi did not work. Also the tv image wasn’t great also.

    They had roaches the blankets had blood on them the restroom was dirty the breakfast was nasty the cereal was old they dont have milk for the cereal. Definitely need to clean the room better.

    The room was semi-clean but I flipped the mattress to see if it was dirty underneath. Sure enough the mattress was filthy underneath and possibly bed bugs at one point of time. The overall hotel was dirty and had nasty people actually living there like pack rats.

    It is within the walking distance to the mall and nearby food places, however, the road you’d have to walk on does not seem safe (no side walk, many turns with blind spots for cars). The shuttle for the airport is not 24 hrs. Confirm with front desk about availability ahead of time.
