Pretty friendly, good room very friendly staff, well maintained enjoyable stay.

We checked in about 6:30 pm, couldn’t sleep, feared for our lives and property, so we checked out at 8:00, before dark. My guess is Expedia and motel 6 also knows and neither one cares and I’ll never stay at another motel 6 or use Expedia again. $71 of my retirement money wasted.

This location is absolutely disgusting. There's dried pet urine all over the hallways, and the whole place stinks of urine and smoke. Our room hadn't been cleaned in what looks like a long time, with dirt and debris all over the floors, mold all over the shower curtain, dirty sink, and dirty surfaces. We found a bed bug on our bag the day after coming home, so there now may be more in our house, too. The staff clearly doesn't care, and SOLO TRAVELING FEMALES BEWARE: the front desk says your room number out loud with the windows wide open, plus the side entrance lock is broken so anyone can come in at any time.

We were flying LAX to Chicago connecting to PEO. The LAX flight to Chicago was delayed causing us to miss out PIA flight and had to fly to peoria the next day. While getting my flight information straightened out Expedia and myself both contact Motel 6 informing them I would not be able to make it in time to check in and was told by staff at the Motel 6 it didn't matter, there was no refund.

The room was not very cleanly. The wall behind the nightstand had beverage streaks going down it. The bed cover also had stains on it. Otherwise the hotel was nice and the staff was nice.

This was the dirtiest motel room I have ever been in. The walls and floors were filthy. The bathroom looked like it had been in a flood. The door was falling apart and there was mold on the vanity. The TV remote was missing the battery cover, so the TV didn't work. The hotel smelled like beer and cigarettes.

The overall room / stay would not have been bad, but when you are staying somewhere for a quick sleep and go, the 2 most important parts are the bed and bathroom. This room lacked in both of those. The gentleman who checked us in was still there when we left and was very nice. We mentioned the issues upon leaving and he seemed almost shocked, so maybe this is an enigma, but we will not be visiting this hotel on our next stay in Peoria. A side note on the overall hotel. If you don't mind the small of marijuana while walking down the hall to your room, the hallway isn't bad.

The bathroom light was flashing on and off like a strobe light. And one of the beds had a red stain on it Multiple burn holes everywhere.

The window was open with no screen, which made it feel unsafe and unsanitary. I actually had to go to the store and buy cleaning supplies just to make the room usable. I even had to stand on a towel to take a shower because the bathroom floor and tub did not feel clean. I also had to request new sheets because the ones on the bed were dirty when we arrived. For a paying guest, this is completely unacceptable. I booked through Expedia for two nights but chose to leave after the first night due to the conditions. I strongly suggest management take cleanliness and room inspections more seriously.

Extremely noisey in the hallway until 2:00am in morning. Seems more of a residence hall, lots of traffic, slamming doors, barking dog. Cooking and cigarette odor was apparent. Needed rest before flight, wasn’t possible at this hotel.

The headboards of both beds had handprints on them and just dirty. The hot water took 10-15 minutes to get warm and really never did get hot. Had the room lose power for about 5 minutes due to too high a voltage according to the desk clerk.

The room was not vert clean. The shower head was disgusting and there was a smell of urine in the room. There were poorly patched marks on the wall, and dry, spilt paint on the floor. Mattresses were vert still and the pillows were very limp.

Room overall clean, could use some touch up of the paint. Bathroom door broken and wouldn’t fully close, food or something splashed on the ceiling over the sink. The hallway did not smell great. For the price, not terrible and it’s nice they allow pets but probably would not stay again.

Very close to shopping and food, but, property needs a good cleaning, repairs, and a coat of paint everywhere. I should have suspected the property was not in good condition based upon the price per night. The friends I was visiting in Peoria made me promise not to stay there again—based on reputation and number of police calls.

The key cards for the room had to be reset every single day of our trip. The windows were a safety concern and unable to securely latch/lock.

Bed bugs.

Our initial room was unsuitable with the mold and grease. Staff apologized and gave us a cleaner room. He also mopped the floor upon our request, so it was sanitary for our dog to walk about. However, the hall and stair carpeting was disgusting, full of likely years' of filth! After we left the premises, my husband had what appeared to be bed bug bites on his face, hand, and back.

We stayed three nights and our room was never cleaned. Multiple screaming fights in the hallways on both levels between other customers, panhandling at doors, bugs in the room….it served its purpose for us but was not ideal in the least.

My daughter went to check in told her she didnt have a reservation then proceeded to tell her rhey canceled it because of the dates. I am very dissatisfied. Do not recommend Thief's Overcharged me

This property location was fine but there was a leak above the toilet in the bathroom. The room was filthy, and not even fit to take a shower in. The floors looked like they had not been cleaned in a very long time. The tv only had sound, no picture and when I attempted to address this with the front desk I was basically told there was nothing they could do. There was very loud music playing near our room on the first night, and what seemed to be addicts all around the property. I was fearful to park my vehicle in the parking lot afraid it would be stolen or damaged. Going outside at night was not an option for my son or myself as it was very sketchy. I am not at all satisfied with this location or the way the front desk staff reacted when I tried to address issues.

Window near the rear door entrance missing, making security keycard access useless. Evening staff during check in was helpful, but early morning staff was asleep when I checked out.

He, in very broken english, informed them and myself that the hotel was full and the fact that we had reservations and confirmations was irrelevant. Late in the evening I was on the search for another property with vacancy when there were multiple large events in town. Addtionally, as I was standing there several guests who did have rooms came to the front desk, they were all very sketchy and I realized quickly this is not a safe place to stay. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that they didn't honor the reservation. DO NOT book this property!

Saw a Dog take a dump in the hall, oddly didn’t really impact condition of floor.

So the new manager is a was looking for a pot he asked us to buy weed from us and then he asked my wife if she was a prostitute the new manager I don't know his name . Ask my wife if she was for sale and one night I sat outside and smoking a cigarette I watched all three of them come out and the one and he had a a 2x4 smash this other this guy and his girl's back windshield out and beating the car up. This look like some mob action gangster and then I asked him one day about it and he goes I never miss I got my stick I never missed. But he's also looking for drugs he's looking for prostitutes and they got three or four staying there so anyway that is mine horrible experience at this hotel roaches dirt everywhere found crack pipe under the bed refrigerator they let these kids run around and do whatever they want and don't ever say anything they're not going to people's door trying to buy pot trying to buy drugs and then they also lift this lady knock on everybody's door looking for looking for crack she's an alcoholic and they know she is they don't want to mess with her I mean watch out your kids don't take your kids there there's a rapist there 14 years and under 40 years he did but I was suggest it nobody to take your children there be good to that reason there's a garbage everywhere alcohol bottles Windows broke syringes down the parking lot I mean if you want to find any drugs just go out there the motel 6

I travel with a dog so first thing I do is give him his water. Spilled some. Went to wipe it up. Rag came up black. And I mean BLACK. TV did not work the whole stay. Needed help one night took 15 minutes ti find anyone since they were out back having family time......

The staff were very friendly and the desk clerk was awesome. But that's where the good ends. Upon walking into the motel it reeked of stake cigarettes and musty odors and I instantly regretted my choice. Once I got to my room it got worse. The air was stale and hot as the AC wasn't on (it's July) and it didn't get very cool. EVERYTHING SMELLED BAD. The air, the bedding, the bathroom, all smelled like stale cigarette smoke mixed with must and slight ammonia and some other unclean smells. When I left, EVERYTHING I owned and brought into the room - my bag, all my clothes, down to my hairbrush - reeked of the same odor. Two days later and everything I haven't washed thoroughly still reeks of this place. AVOID. THERE'S A REASON IT'S SO CHEAP!

The tv did not work , they moved me across the hall where the tv would turn on but no cable or internet hooked to it.i decided to just go to sleep , started to plug my phone in so i would have an alarm , and cockroaches started running all over the night stand . When i left there was a big puddle of urine in the hallway .

It was an okay experience given the price, but the bed spread had stains, the bathroom had grout stains and chipping paint on the door, one of the bathroom lights made a high pitched squeal when it was on, and the upstairs guest was very heavy footed. I would not stay long term, but as a stop and go during a road trip, it's acceptable.

Quick check and the room did the job

It was not clean and the linens were dirty. I had to purchase towels from Walmart due to the towels having several spots on them. The room was full of bugs and blankets had cigarette burns in them even though the hotel is non smoking and when it was brought to the staff attention they just said ok.

The vending and coffee machines were out of order. The place was run down and needs upgraded doors and paint. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Around the property was terrible grbage everywhere looks like they just throw things out in the yard everywhere from a broken shopping cart to broken tile. The room wasnt bad but it looks like a crack hotel. People on the first floor broke the screen and were going in and out the windows. Had problems with the air conditioning. Came back to a hot room and went to tell them they came to the room and un plugged and the plugged it in expecting it to magically be fixed. They left and said they would be back , they didn't come back i had to go back to the desk and ask if they were going to fix it. They finally gave us a different room and when i asked for a discount for our inconvenience they laughed and said no. I wont be ging back

Checked on to o room smelled of old tobacco and smoke alarm was detached. Second room was not a lot better but doable. Overall just felt like I was in an uncleared, uncared about motel.

We ended up staying since it was so late, but it was the worse place I’ve ever stayed in. I don’t like to give bad reviews but in this case it was really bad. The nonsmoking room reeked of stale cigarette smoke that was really disgusting and gave us a headache. The ice machine was broken. The coffee machine was out of order. The sheets had blood on them. We had to sleep on top of the sheet. The bedspread had crumbs on it. Everything felt sticky and just dirty. I know it was cheap, but for $75 there should at least be clean sheets! Ugh, never again.

Woke up to loud screams, door slams, and police sirens! Peeked out my door to see what looked like a parade of prostitutes leaving (one) rooms. Did I mention this was at 4am? Price is decent, management seems cool, but beware this Hotel is not for the faint of heart! Took the front desk clerk (three) attempts to find a room that wasn’t vacant…. Seems unorganized, and poorly managed. Close to lots of food options though.

The room and hotel was fairly standard with nothing that stood out, but was clean and allowed a good night's sleep. The room had some minor issues but nothing important.

This motel was similar to 2 other low price motels we stayed in, going to & from viewing the eclipse in southern Illinois. Each place had inoperable lights, smelled of old cigarette smoke, no coffee and a very run-down & getting worse feeling. This motel had a trickle of a shower, no coffee maker nor fresh coffee available & we weren’t given the kind bed I reserved. I would not stay at a Motel 6 again. They appear to be allowing their facilities to run WAY down to make more income from low-cost customers.

There's just a good bit of trash, things that should be in the garbage can, on the ground around the motel.

“Broke Down Palace”! This place is the true definition of ghetto fabulous. During my (two) day stay I saw more Police than I have seen my entire life. the manager is a female who talks a good game but don’t trust anything she says unless it’s in writing! half of the items in the room were broken, and the towels felt like single ply toilet paper! The water pressure in the shower had less pressure behind the pump than a water bottle with a tiny hole in it! Walls are wafer thin, I could almost smell the prostitutes in the room next door! Stay far away from this hell hole! You have been warned….

What you would expect from a budget conscious location. If concerned for safety maybe look elsewhere. A lot of yelling and arguing on multiple nights in various rooms and outside. Rooms have fair amount of deferred maintenance. Staff are warming the bench but available. Overall not bad but not great.

I really liked how clean the dog potty area was, they had the garbage cleaned out each morning and plenty of waste bags i noticed, even though i carry my own at all times.

The property is a bit out of the way, but not too terrible. The common areas are not in the best repair but not horrible either. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean... not immaculate, but surprisingly tidy and accommodating while being among the more budget options in the area. I would stay here again, easy choice.

Well i had stayed at this property a few years back and never had any issues. This most recent visit was horrible. Sheets were never changed from I don't know how many previous guests and stains on the walls. Bathroom door had water damage and rotting at the bottom. Glad i brought my sandals and wore them in the shower. The window to the room was left unlocked. So had I not looked out the window for the view anyone could have come in through it as I was on ground level. They allow pets here but from the sound of it they allow them to be left alone in the room. There are people that live there as well. So if you are near room 125/127 expect to hear a dog barking constantly and kids yelling in the hallway. There are no do not disturb signs so be ready for housekeeping to be pounding on your door in the morning. Definitely not staying here again unless its a room with none of these issues but highly doubt it. Big guy at front desk sure didnt care when I reported issues to him.

From the moment you walk in the doors, that's an overwhelming smell of pot that hits you. It permeates throughout the entire hotel. Thankfully it didn't smell in our room as bad as it did in the hallway, at first, but then the smell started wafting in. I suspect someone in the next room had started smoking it. There were a couple people casually walking around who went back and talked to the check-in desk attendant while I was checking in. It was a little discerning having them talk in another language while the attendant was going over my info. I'm guessing they are long term residents there; that seemed to be the case in many rooms. People were a bit noisy as well. There were no ground floor rooms available so we were on the second floor. There didn't seem to be an elevator, just the one set of stairs in the front. The room was in decent shape. We checked out for bedbugs and was happy to not find any. The fridge was warm and assumably out of order. The water from the sink had a slightly orange tint. The window view was of a brick building just a few feet away. We just used the room to crash for the night with our two dogs, so it was bearable. But we won't stay there again though. There was a much nicer looking hotel across the street that we will likely look into next time.

Hotel is a little dated and needs more regular plugs and/or USB ports for charging. Service was good. Location fine. Room basic, but plenty of cable channels along with a fridge and microwave.
