I paid for a hotel that I physically didn't even stay at due to issues of paying for the deposite, money was taken from my account but not received on the hotels end. Caused a huge discrepancy.

Management was awful! Don’t try to help or a solution to a situation & was very rude. Unacceptable & highly unrecommended

Easy parking Staff was rude. Booked it in a month advance. Got there and room they gave me was trashed bed sheets used bathroom was steamy and moldy smelling. Bath tub wouldn’t turn off bugs were crawling out the fridge. They switch us to another rooms which someone was already checked into with their personal belongings and everything!! Lucky no kne was in the room. Gave us our original room back but took them 2 and a half hours to clean. Worst stay every!

Property is one of the older hotels but maintained .Rooms were clean and all is what was expected for this price . Breakfast ended at 9 so we missed that ,it would have been nice to have it open a little longer .

Sheets were definitely dirty, beds so thin you can feel the bed springs in your back. And the breakfast area had ants… also got charged $43 extra at property they said I only reserved for 3 people and not 4!

The room was decent Apparently, it wasn’t in the best area of the city. Had VERY loud and inconsiderate neighbors two days in a row. A lot of pot smoking was going on. You could smell it up and down the halls.

I live in Colorado and I stayed at the establishment while I was in town for a funeral. Upon check in I noticed a sign about a deposit so when I question about it not being listed on the site, therefore is it possible to pay cash for the deposit. I was told no that it had to be on a card. I was hesitant but after driving 16hrs I just wanted to get some rest. However once I entered the room it was obvious that the room was not clean. I took pictures of the damage in the bathroom and the dirty linen. I informed the front desk attendant who then only offered me 2 towels. I had to purchase my own linens and towels for the stay and now they are refusing to give me my deposit. I will not recommend this place to anyone and the fact that they are not giving me back my money is beyond me.

Location was good for wasnt far from where i was going, staff was kind, rooms can stand for upgrade in bed, comforters and breakfast. Comforter had stains on them even though they where.clean price to high for the hotel

Overall, this was a good place to stay. Mostly clean, but clean towels were still stained and carpet could use a thorough vacuum. Staff was exceptionally nice and breakfast was adequate.

Guy took my credit card over the phone for the deposit and the next day I had fraud on the card. I also booked for 2 night but he only put 1 in the system and so I was charged an extra $20 that night which he said he could not reverse. These guys are scammers at the desk. Be careful with your information.

The room wasn't cleaned up to satisfied conditions . The TV didn't work all the time and we had to go get clean bedding.

The location was perfect. Ample parking. Clean. Would have liked a bit more selection with breakfast. Peanut butter and something other than white bread or white plain mini bagel would have been nice. To many do not do signs distract from ambiance. Need frames were very hard. Staff could have smiled and been a bit friendlier.

Variety was poor, not well stocked. Staff did not keep up with products as needed, minimally stocked at times. Could have been more variety like fresh fruit. Condiments like butter and such were lacking. Over all just disappointing,lack of staff attention.

This location was terrible. We arrived late and had traveled and needed sleep. The room next door had dogs and they kept scratching at the door. I told front desk but nothing was done. We didn’t get any sleep The whole situation and atmosphere

The gentleman running this place is a super nice man. Our room was very clean. We have zero complaints and we will be back to stay again.

I generally do not eat the breakfast at hotels. I did this time. It was very rudimentary. I feel there needs to be yogurt as well as dry cereals. The mini waffles were good, though.

Breakfast was good, nice seating in the lobby, Clean bathroom, and you can see it was been keeping up. Nice coffee/Tea in the lobby when you need. it. It was difficult on my side not the hotel. War Memorial is very busy and at night to watch others and me trying to find where I get over to the hotel. It was a great night and it was close to the cross-country state.

My sister had been diagnosed with cancer, so my other sister and I needed a reasonably priced hotel close to the hospital and this was a great location. Very friendly staff.

Vagrants hanging around outside. Nothing for breakfast other than bananas and muffins. I paid for 5 people to stay in 2 rooms and the staff at front desk seemed put off when I asked for an additional towel because each room only had 2. Questioned me why I had 5 people in 2 rooms.

Bed too hard. Tub was slippery. Smoke free facility but the smell of smoke was pulled in from outside. No housekeeping during the stay. Most of staff was pleasant and helpful.

Make your own waffles was a hit. Just wish they had a protein choice as well.

My biggest positive was clean and comfortable. Biggest negative was the exterior environment. Homeless ppl on the hotel property and loitering. The front door was proped open with a wood block not allowing for secure safety entrance. Worst continental breakfast ever.

The facilities seemed clean and the room was comfortable enough. I’ve stayed in more comfortable beds, but the pillows were good. The water tasted moldy, so I would not recommend drinking it. The breakfast provided was OK, but the area was small with tables right next to the service area, so it was a bit awkward. The price was lower than other area hotels, so for that reason I would consider staying here again if I remembered to bring my own water.

The property is greatly improved since I was last there 3 years ago. Still have some tech to work out. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was basic, but good. The people were very nice.

The coffee both in the room and lobby was the same texture of sand and dirt in water (see pic) blech. Nasty. The breakfast was awful. A few cold cereal choices, mini bagels, toast, tiny muffins bananas & waffles. The juice cups were tiny like dixie cups. The air conditioner in my room was on 60 and it never cooled down. Sketchy people walking around all night. Nasty place all around. Spend a few $ more and get a better hotel. Room honestly was pretty clean but it didnt make up for the other issues.

I would recommend not staying here, despire the low rate. The room was the filthiest, most disgusting room i had ever stayed in. There is no question that it had never been cleaned. Bedding was stained, walls dirty, microwave had an odor, mildew smell and no outlet covers on outlets just showing exposed wall.

It was close to where we needed to go. The property was quiet, no road noise or noisey guests.

We had the WORST time at this hotel. We turned in a dirty towel ... And they charged us $20 from our deposit! The room was filthy ... Which is why the towel was dirty. We had to wash out the tub and clean a filthy bath floor before we could use the bathtub and shower! There was obvious smoking in our no smoking room ... Which a lot of people were complaining about. The management staff was rude. The maintenance and cleaning crew was very nice and polite ... But the front desk crew including the manager was disrespectful and, to be honest, quite stupid! Their breakfast buffet was meager to say the least. Just hard mini bagels, chocolate chip muffins that were stale half the time, and cream cheese that was left out at room temp every morning. The pancake machine didn't work. The waffle maker worked, but the syrup machine was always out of syrup. Management would walk in at 10 and tell you free breakfast was over and he would turn off the juice machine. The coffee ... Do NOT get me started! It was so nasty and bitter that a super extra dose of creamer and sugar added could not help it! The coffee machine needed to be cleaned internally because you could taste the "spoiled" coffee mixed with mold or mildew!

This Super 8 is photos and info is way outdated. It is much more run down and in a rough area of town. Same comforters shown in pictures, but add holes. So much grim in other areas, you hate to touch. Didn't even want to eat any of the breakfast when seeing how little cleaning is done in room. Perkins is also closed.

The property was cheap and easy to book, check in and check out. Very dated but clean with kind and prompt staff.

Everything is clean and they've been doing lots of updates throughout. The staff are extremely helpful & the customer service is great. The rooms are very comfortable and the air conditioner kept the room nicely cool. They have breakfast if you want. They do sell some snacks and drinks behind the desk should you need. They have a luggage cart as well as an elevator. On site front load washer and dryer is also available as well as detergent and dryer sheets. I will definitely stay here again.

Bed was very hard and the breakfast was completely empty at 7:55 am nobody was replenishing any of the food. Not that it mattered it was just cereal bread,muffins and waffles. Front desk attendant was nice and helpful when tv was not working. Overall not bad for the price.

It was run down, there were stains on the sheets, I wouldnt ever stay again. The positives were easy free parking and I guess the staff were friendly.

Upon arrival I was unable to get in. I had to call the establishment several times. Once I finally got up to my room and opened the door only to realize it was a room that was being used for storage. It had ladders paint and other equipment. After getting another room, I quickly realized that the card key didn't work. Even the employee was not able to open the door. So, they finally moved me to a third room. The third room was freezing cold and took more than half the night to warm up.

Staff was amazing and the rooms were very clean. My partner and I were on a business trip in Peoria and our stay here was great, we would definitely book here again. Everything is literally 3-9 minutes away, it's central to everything. The breakfast options were all carbs, but if waffles are your thing, they have them., but it's better than nothing! We breakfasted at Perkins that's literally right in front for eggs and sausage. Overall, highly recommend this Super 8.

All parking was closed for resurfacing. There were no signs directing where you could park or how to enter the building through closed off parking areas. Very inconvenient for two 80-year old seniors. Almost forgot, it was raining. We got wet. If we had been notified ahead of time we probably would have found another place to stay.

fridge froze all items i brought to eat making it inedible and it was never listed about a deposit especially since there's stains on the towels.

Property was mostly clean, although the coffeemaker in room had a coffee packet stuck in water holder that had been there for ages, Biggest complaint was no maid service, had to fend for ourselves for towels and trash was overflowing.

No housekeeping came during my stay. I ran out of towels and was unable to get anymore . I checked out 7 days ago and was told my deposit would be returned within 24 I have since called 4 times and received the same answer “give it 24 more hours “ the website pictures looked nothing like the actual motel. I traveled 8 hours and reserved my room in advance and was not aware I would pay a deposit until I seen my charge in my card . Ask to speak with jay tge manager but I have yet to hear from anyone and it is now day 7

This hotel was great for our one night getaway to visit our of town family from Texas. We were from Michigan just needed something cheap for a night. I would say this hotel was great for the price. The night guy was very nice and got me checked in efficiently and quickly. Our room on the second floor was warm when entering but once I turned the air on it cooked right down quickly. It was clean such a plus. It came with a mini fridge, microwave, ice bucket, and a mini coffee maker. Bed was a king it was firm with great big fluffy pillows I loved. The bed yet firm was very comfortable I had a good night's sleep. Bathroom looked newly redone in nice decor and flooring. The best thing about it is the toilet paper was of great quality! I've been to hotels about from cheap to expensive and 90% off them use the cheapest but not here! They have the usual for the breakfast which is fine by me for a quick morning eat. This place is a good place to stay. Parking was right out front with plenty of space. Lot, lobby, elevator, hallways and rooms were all clean i would definitely stay again and at a great price at that

Paid through hotels.com for a room for my mother in another state. When she got there they wanted $100 in cash said they couldn’t take my card for the deposit it had to be cash. Ridiculous!

This was a value place to stay. It was clean overall, but they did not have enough towels in the room. There was a loud group of people making noise down from our window late at night as well. The breakfast was minimal, but sufficient. The room was a good price!

It was nicely decorated and appeared to have been recently renovated. However, the bed was VERY uncomfortable. It was about a 5" mattress on a platform, so no "give" at all. There was rarely anyone at the front desk, which I assume is due to short staffing. I wouldn't stay again because the bed was so uncomfortable.

Great place to stay. Breakfast bar was lacking but the waffle maker came through in a pinch. Some staff were friendly, others were oblivious to guests while talking on their phones. Not convinced all of them wanted to be there. Perkins is across the parking lot. Lots of other nearby shopping. The parking lots are littered with liquor bottles, I even spotted a glass pipe. Not a reflection of the hotel, but I would recommend cleaning up the outside of the facility. Interior had a strong chemical smell, would recommend better air circulation during cleaning. Room was clean, tidy, had everything you could want for a short stay. Would definitely recommend, and would absolutely stay again.

The bed was horrible, it is a run down hotel with a lot of lipstick!! Parking lot is horrible needs serious repair. Everything is substandard. There is no continental breakfast. All they have is cereal and some coffee. The coffee is the worst I ever had the only reason I gave this place three stars because the people tried very hard and were very nice but the complete renovation.
