The room was clean and the beds were really comfortable. Loved the shower and the water pressure! The parking area close to the hotel is really small and the parking garage was sketchy..

This was an okay stay, nothing terribly bad wrong, nothing outstandingly good. The rooms have obviously been refurbished and we're clean. The outside and common areas of the hotel could use attention

Everything really. And I purchased the same mattress that is used in the rooms of Best Western Apple Valley, the moment we returned home. Super comfy !!! The front desk forgot to let us know there was a parking deck below, and it didn't have a visible sign. If so, it was hard to see. But once we found it, it made parking much better.

the parking situation isn’t great. the chlorine from the pool will knock you out as soon as you step out of your car. for a budget stay this hotel isn’t bad but the exposed wires hanging from the ceiling and the beds being massively uncomfortable is a do not return for me.

The location and breakfast was good The timers hardly worked. The timer in my room for the fireplace fell out of the wall. There was a light that didn’t want to stay in the ceiling. My spa tub didn’t want to stop dripping. Apparently they do not own a pool skimmer because we asked about them skimming the pool since it was full of bugs and the front desk told us they didn’t have one. Holes in the walls on floor 2 on your way to the ice machine doesn’t seem safe either. Also the handles to the balcony were placed so shitty since there were blinds. You couldn’t really put your hand behind them to grab the door handle properly

I definitely liked the location further down the parkway next to Dolly Parton’s Stampede but I definitely liked certain aspects of this location that make me want to come back for another visit.

Great staff and spacious rooms. I was skeptical at first but this hotel exceeded my expectations. I have food allergies so I couldn't eat the breakfast but my husband loved the waffles. My only negative was I accidentally left a stuffed animal that I've had for almost twenty years. I called the hotel but nobody has seen it. It meant so much to me but I'm sure they just seen a raggedy old dog. My heart is broken. This is not their fault. It's my own. :(

The staff was pleasant, but the room was disappointing. The beds were not comfortable and the room smelled weird. The doors slammed pretty loud at all hours of the night, and the hallways/ elevators reeked of marijuana. Will not stay there again. We left before our reservation ended just to not stay there another night.

At first we noticed there was some damaged to the building due to a high truck hitting it going under and limited spots on ground level and found parking in the “basement” which was our go to place, not very many parked there. I would stay here again if we visit Pigeon Forge.

The rooms were clean. The only thing hindering us was the pool was down for maintenance and there no communication and we came from Michigan so was really looking forward to swimming with my toddler. Elevator was having problems but overall staff was friendly, rooms nice, breakfast was very good!

I had a very pleasant stay here. It is very well located and I had no issues with parking at the property. I had the loft room which was very unique and lots of fun for the kids. Breakfast area was clean with the typical hotel options, and it was not too crowded, at least at the times I went. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was pleasant, room was clean, fridge did not work for a full day. But maintenance fixed it next morning. They should give more instruction on parking during check-in. For instance, there is a parking garage. Breakfast was 8/10. Hotel is near everything. Loved it will give overall hotel experience a 9.5/10. Only removed .5 for fridge issues, not letting it be known there is a parking garage and them not having bacon for breakfast my entire stay lol. But overall a great hotel.

Decided to stay an extra day. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Toilet did not flushed. Maintenance came twice but was not able to repair. When asked for a new room was advised that all rooms were booked but there were other rooms on my floor that were not occupied.

Note: ypu may see some bad reviews, because one of their sister hotels had a major water leak, bad enough to shut that hotel down. Displaced guests were sent to our hotel for accommodations just before midnight. The staff was just as polite and kind to them as they were to us. Their perceptions are colored by their situations and DO NOT pertain to this Hotel OR ITS STAFF!

Elevator is in a weird place and somewhat inconvenient. Breakfast was good but food ran out quickly but even with patience it took long for food to be refilled. Nice variety. Something very shocking to us was the $25 for 6 hours charge to charge our Tesla, complete daylight robbery. Very disappointing considering the owner has a Tesla and knows that rate is completely ridiculous.

The cook was wonderful and kept the service clean, loved how she greeted everyone, overall wonderful friendly atmosphere for the family. I will definitely stay here again.

Getting up to our room we found the floors a little warmer and the actual rooms fine. The room itself was clean but in disrepair. Door broken would not lock anyone could just walk in. The rooms plugins didn't work could only charge our phone in the bathroom. The light on the bed was broken off. And the tub was starting to separate from the wall. After that due to weather the next morning we stayed in our room a little late till around 10. The maid even with the privacy sign on, walked right into the room no knock nothing she wanted to clean the room we told her no we didn't need the service and sent her on her way. Later that day they came back and still cleaned the room even with the sign still on. Luckly after the first intrusion we packed our luggage and took it to the car to be sure that things wouldnt go missing. And after cleaning they didn't refill the shampoo or soap just made the bed and left. Last was possibly not their fault but someone was smoking near us every night so the room reaked of pot which was annoying.

The room was clean, spacious. The entire hotel was clean the halls the lobby the breakfast area all very nice. Every interaction with the staff was very pleasant. The checking in and checkout process was great. Access to the rooms are especially after the third floor was a very convenient this particular hotel actually had a parking garage under the hotel which I utilized kept the weather off my car and got off the elevator right into my car. I would recommend this hotel and we’ll stay there again.

One of the best parts of this hotel is its fantastic location. There are lots of attractions nearby, making it easy to explore the area without long drives. From shows and shops to family-friendly activities, everything is just minutes away. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants close by, which made dining out super convenient. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely return. If you’re visiting Pigeon Forge and want comfort, convenience, and great service, Best Western Plus Apple Valley Lodge is an excellent choice!

Clean room

The only complaint is that the bathtub did not have any rubber strips or rubber bath mat, and it was slippery. Very scary to be worried about falling.

We were there for our elopement and the staff was so incredible and kind. We had our first look in the lobby and the staff helped calm my nerves while waiting for my fiance to come down. We will definitely be staying here more in the future.

When you first enter the hotel, it seems nicer than it is. It looks as if the bathroom and vanity area have been redone which is a positive. Towels appeared new and were replaced daily, another positive. When all the room lights are turned on, they appear to be great. The problem is they all come on, and all turn off at the same time. You have to figure out the trick to the lights if you want only a single light or two. The tv is difficult to figure out what's on. You come in after dinner expecting to watch TV while reading. You find a directive to call the desk for help with the TV or anything in the room. The problem is that desk clerk is the only one available and can't leave the desk. The carpet in the room is old and stained; it needs replacing. The elevator situation was really surprising and not a good surprise. The is only ONE elevator for a multistory hotel and it is located at the opposite end of the building from the front desk where you check in and out. It is a very long walk especially with a loaded luggage carrier. There were several luggage carriers (good) but the wheels made the trip down that long hall very difficult. It may only a matter of putting a little air in the tires to improve pushing the carriers. I know I've identified a lot of issue and some you can't fix, like adding or moving an elevator. However, you can tell people checking in where to park and what door to use to be closer to the elevator. Luggage carriers were stored by the fr

Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. It was VERY hot in the room and the AC was never able to really cool it down. We did complain, but no solution was offered. Breakfast was good, with several menu options available. Great location!

The toilet was not attached to the floor. The shower was not caulked. The door to the room wouldn't close completely, you could see the hallway from inside the room when the door was closed.

The hallway carpeting smelled of cigarettes & the swimming pool.The smell is breathtaking! The hotel isn’t handicap friendly at all in any area. I had a handicap person with me. With this being said, the worst thing is the parking lot in the back. There were several lights in the parking lot & none of them worked. You are left in a very dark parking lot. Dangerous to walk around in & the parking is tight…..with NO LIGHTS WORKING! Not safe in any stretch of the imagination. I will never be back under any circumstances. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!

Something should be done about a noise ordinance for the city after a certain time. It was 2 or 3 am before the loud cars stopped.

Room was musty and moldy smelling. In one room the bedside lights and phone didn't work. In the other room, some of the lights didn't work. The bathmat nonslip pad was ripped. It was so loud you could hear everything inside and outside the hotel at all times. The room layout was outdated and the distance from front desk to elevator to room was ridiculous. Also, no ice machine on our floor.

So overall, what’s important the room was really clean. There was an area that had been patched that they didn’t paint the best and a light missing in the room, but everything was clean. Right outside our room the wall was pretty messy and kinda looked gross. I was afraid that it would transfer over into the room, but did not at all so I can live with that outside. There was construction like trash laying everywhere outside in the area by the elevator, I’m not sure why it looks like they might be working on something so I’ll give them that. The breakfast was great plenty to eat very clean. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked good. Most every area of the hotel was clean, except for some cosmetic things here and there in the halls that I noticed. Bed was comfortable, easy access to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. For the price it was really a good find! I would stay there again. Friendly staff.

Small parking spots make it difficult to park & load/unload each day, all the lights on desktop & bedside tables were broken off or missing bulbs, bathroom door didn’t close all the way & there’s no lock on that door, smoking was permitted or no smoking wasn’t enforced all throughout the building! Expected much more from Best Western brand!

We were in town for a wedding, booked two rooms. It was a great location and close to several attractions and shopping. (Hatfield & McCoy, Wonderworks, HardRock, Titanic Museum). The room had great A/C and water pressure in the shower. The mini-fridge and microwave worked well. Our room also came with a balcony, if you like sitting out. The beds were comfy and had many pillows to choose from to use. There were plugs for your phone on the nightstand. The bedside lights worked on one side, but were broken on the other, as well as the desk light. There was also many light switches, but they turned off all the lights when using any of them, except the bathroom mirror. It is not very bright to do your makeup. They also had luggage carriers, which helped get everything to your room. They had a restaurant, but we chose to eat at the various restaurants, Loved Sunliner Diner. It could use some minor handyman work, but overall, great hotel stay.

The property is decent for what it is, clean but a hazard with the rooms with double beds. The frames sticks out and is a potential risk for people, I've hurt myself because of it with no help as to my injury. Staff could have been better in that scenario, I would not come back to this hotel

I would have given a 5 star review but you can not sleep past about 8am. The rooms not only are very bright but this is the loudest hotel ive stayed at. People walking by, the elevator and doors are sooo lound through your door. Once everyone else is up and about do are you. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the staff was friendly.

Very exceptional fairly new looking as well. The rooms were impeccable comfortable spacious clean I would come back to this place many times. They have breakfast there is restaurants all over with walking distance as well there is a trolley that can take you too many different places in attractions so that's very convenient it is diagonally across the street from the Titanic attraction. I will definitely be visiting this place again.

Excellent location. The staff was helpful. The only negative there was while we were hanging out in the main lobby we witnessed a member of the house keeping staff get fired. The staff was there eating breakfast. This should have been done in private.

We had a loft room which was nice and spacious. Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Hot coffee and hot chocolate available 24/7. Cons: linen dated and pilllow cases had stains, pillows themselves have no "fluff". Brealfast area is very small and you have to wait awhike to get a seat or just take it vack tonyour room. Also runs out of some breakfast items every day: milk, eggs, original waffle mixture. Staff very apologetic. Close to Tangier Outlet, Dolly Stampede, Dollywood, a variety of restaurants and attractions. Overall, great location and price for thr room.

The free breakfast buffet was nice each morning. However, walls in room are thin and heard other doors in hallway slamming while sleeping all morning long. Bathroom toilet and sink are in separate rooms across from each other and lighting for sink is very dim.

We made a reservation for the July 4th weekend. After texting with them the day before, the hotel cancelled our reservation without notice. We arrived at the hotel after an 8.5-hour drive, to no room and they were sold out. The front desk agent was rude and completely unapologetic. I've contacted the hotel multiple times before this review and they never responded.

The assistant GM was VERY HELPFUL AND ACCOMMODATING when my husband and I had an issue tge 1st night and rly helped us with our 3rd night! The employees are great, the rooms are nice!

I love this hotel, but they need to renovation in the next few years as it’s starting to show its age. Had the same room two years in a row and they still didn’t fix the broken chair in the room. I would suggest they get rid of the carpet as vinyl flooring would be easier to clean. Would definitely come back as the staff is great as they are responsive to your needs, the room was clean, and the hotel is not far from all the things you wanna do. 4.5/5 stars

Room was dirty, mildew in shower, stains on couch and chair, cushions ripped on couch, room was noisy next to elevator, clogged toilet. Staff was accommodating and helpful when needed

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The room was great and appeared to be nice and clean. The only thing that I had an issue with was a slight smell in the room, which I found out was from the AC unit. the smell only came around when it turned on. Other than that, the room was great and had a nice large fridge, which is good to know for others and for me since I think that is important for me. The breakfast was also decent, wish there was more options though.

I enjoyed my stay here! My fiancé and I booked a room with a jetted tub and it was amazing! I did notice Minor stuff that needed to be repaired but other than that the room was amazing and the staff was friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

Loved it

Very clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. Only drawback is the fact that you have to take a u-turn to get to most attractions and gatlinburg.

This hotel was clean, beds comfortable, A/C worked great, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with our hotel! The breakfast was very good and provide a variety of items to meet our taste in breakfast items. The staff was very friendly and we will suggest this hotel to our many friends that visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on vacation!

property is right on the main drag, so parking is tricky. limited spaces to park on main level.....continental breakfast was difficult for the waffle lovers, only one waffle machine and gravy was super watered down along with the juices. Total breakfast let-down....up-side room was very clean once we were able to get checked in.

Hotel was near the end of the busy strip but a perfect location. Close enough to everything. The pool was a little small and always cloudy water, we decided not to use it for these reasons which was a bummer because it is hot there. There was an odd smell when we got off the elevator on the second floor but the smell stayed in the hallway and our room did not smell. Minor imperfections throughout the hotel but overall for the price I would stay there again. Parking is a little odd, they need to tell you about their little parking garage upon arrival. It is scary as hell the first time you go down into it. But once you do it once you’re good. The staff all seemed kind but housekeeping barely spoke English. Breakfast was nice, nothing to brag about but it was a nice spread for being included. We stayed 5 nights and the beds were good to us. Very comfortable and my sides weren’t hurting by the second night like some other places I’ve stayed at. The little balcony was a nice touch. We enjoyed sitting out on it after a long hot day while the kids watched tv in the room. Overall it is worth it for the price. I’d stay here again. I was traveling with my husband and children.

The property itself was fine. Libby was nice and fresh towels were brought to our room daily. They also took out our trash everyday. Breakfast was nice with tons of selections. The staff were kind but I mentioned more than once that the coffee maker in my room wouldn’t stay closed and nothing was done about it all week. There’s mildew growing in the caulk around the tub. Though the cleaning people did a great job unfortunately there was a large nail clipping on the floor against the wall next to the bed and a nasty odor in the room at all times. I believe it was coming from the A/C unit

Nearly new hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Plentiful breakfast choices. Walking distance to restaurants and entertainment.

Convenient location to experience the activities at Pigeon Forge

Everyone was friendly, the room was very clean, every request was fulfilled, I.e. extra towels, milk for cereal. The room fridge is run down and stuck in the highest setting which in turn froze all my food. Pool was clean, location was great for all the tourist sites. Watch your head on the steps.

Second stay at his hotel for a family trip to the Smoky Mountains. Overall good hotel. Good location with no safety concerns. Staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable other than it seemed to hold a bit of humidity making things feel damp. Breakfast was good but seating area can get overcrowded. Would definitely stay here again.

Parking a bit difficult, but staff accommodating and lets ypu park on grassy area as overflow.. Door slammers not a fan of...if not full would be nice if they spread customers out so to minimize door slamming noises.

The breakfast was great and plentiful

Not sure how this place gets really good ratings. It’s “ok” at best. To begin with, the parking is horrible if you have a full-size/lifted truck or a low car. The parking garage is underground, and the ramp is extremely steep and low. There isn’t much parking other than the garage, so there’s that. We check in, the front desk lady was nice enough, nothing spectacular. Go up to our room and the moment we open the door the musty smell of mildew, just kicks you in the face. I call the desk (phone is broke by the way, and only works on speaker), she says they have no other rooms and sends a guy up with spray to pretty much mask the smell. Great, now we have mildew and flowers; awesome! The guy that came up, was a young, black man with an accent (from the islands possibly?). He was super cool and nice, and we felt like he genuinely felt bad that all he could offer was some fragrance spray. The room was very basic, nothing special. Our room faced the road, so we sat out on the balcony and watched the cars go by. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and it was nice and cool in the room, so it was a decent nights sleep, once we went nose blind to the smell. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but it smelt good. All and all, we will not stay again and wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Our room was very clean and comfy. Breakfast had several options. Several restaurants close by. We had to cut our visit short due to my husband not feeling well and front desk was very accommodating.

Very nice suite room with fireplace and jacuzzi in the room. Comfortable king bed. Good free breakfast. Helpful staff.

Overall great stay

I stayed here during my friends and mine vacation recently. Weve never been to Tennessee before. Hotel staff was great ,especially the breakfast kitchen staff because they were so nice and helpful. Everything was tidy and spotless. We went during the weekdays so the pool was empty most the time(which was really nice,i prefer to not swim close to strangers lol). Even the balcony was clean and clear of spiders and bugs. Usually hotels with balconies dont pay much attention to cleaning the balcony.but this balcony was great and i spent a good amount of time sitting out there. Only complaint I have is the beds. Oh my goodness they were terribly uncomfortable. Each night i was waking up multiple times from back pain from the bed. I usually dont even have any back pain at all. They werent too stiff or too soft,so i dont know why it made my back hurt so much. Maybe next time Ill bring a blow up mattress or something.

We had a great time at this hotel. Got to relax, got to pay with the grandkids and the breakfast was wonderful. All the staff members we met were very friendly and the parking garage underneath was so nice.

We've really enjoyed our stay and would choose this Best Western Plus again!
