I also noticed a large yellow stain on the bedding and requested a room change. The staff accommodated my request and moved me to another room; however, the new room smelled strongly of fresh paint and felt humid and muggy. The staff was friendly and courteous throughout my stay, but unfortunately the overall condition of the property did not meet expectations.

I liked the location and all the services. Breakfast gas was good and fresh! It was never empty! The ladies in the breakfast area are super sweet. But for some reason I was sent a breakfast bill and I thought that it was included with my stay! That had never happens to me when I stay in other hotels!

One elevator was down the 4 days we were there which was annoying but okay. The breakfast was good and well maintained and the cook was always checking on everything. It would have been nice to have more variety for breakfast and to have the hours past 9am but that was as advertised. There were signs in the room and lobby for "The Placery" as a 24/7 option to eat but when I asked they said it closed at 1pm and I never saw anybody use it so I don't know if that was even a real option. Unfortunately they stop the coffee/tea in the front lobby when breakfast stops.

Room is spacious Spending $300 on this place was a terrible decision. As we tried to enter the elevator, kids almost knocked my wife over while splitting between us. There was plenty of space behind us to go around, but no one in customer service cared about the situation. They quickly dismissed our complaint and allowed the kids (aged 10-14) to treat the lobby like a playground. To make matters worse, the elevator takes an eternity to come down, and the air conditioning in the room at 60 degrees consistently runs and right in front of my bed doesn’t cool off area.

I really like the Hyatt Place Plano for several reasons. I like that the rooms are spacious and there is both a separate sectional couch sitting/TV area as well as a dedicated desk and chair for working. I also like that the rooms have a mini-fridge and sink. You can also heat things up in the microwave in the lobby, which is convenient. The free breakfast is also a nice touch. Parking is convenient and easy, and the water pressure is good. Really just an overall very satisfying stay.

Clean and convenient

ARRIVE ON 03/27/26 BUT THINGS NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED IN TIAL ROOM SO WE HAD TO WAIT ON ANOTHER ROOM IN EARLY AM WAS CHECKED INTO 321 AND STILL RECEIVED CHARGES FOR TWO NIGHTS

The lobby was small

Clean rooms and breakfast was excellent. I didn’t catch the man’s name at the front desk, but he deserves a raise! Not only was he there around the clock but he was very talkative and friendly to all the guests checking in and staying there. One of the ladies preparing breakfast even offered to help my younger daughter make her plate. Beds were so so. We slept ok, but some of the guests staying with me said they weren’t very comfortable. If we had queens instead of doubles that may have remedied that, but we had to go with what was available. Overall it was a good stay, and we would stay here again.

Occasionally then toilet water pump failed to fill the reservoir after flushing. Had to push on toilet lever multiple times for it to work.

Day one we ordered out that evening and we brought our food to put in the refrigerator and in the morning the refrigerator was broken in our food was spoiled. So we lost about $40 worth of food and I had to ask for a refrigerator switch out. In addition to that, ask for a late check out at the beginning of this reservation. I was told that I could do a late check out because 5 o’clock evening fly out after my surgery. I was told at 11 o’clock that I had to be out by 12 o’clock. Those are my two complaints otherwise everything else

Upon arriving the check in gentleman that helped me that evening was not very friendly and future encounters with him did not show good customer service. The room was OK but the hot water for the shower was not very hot even though I had it turned all the way to the left making showers needing to be very fast!

Everything was great. (We stay here because of my doctor appointments, across the road). The Breakfast, the walk in shower, so good. I’m in a wheelchair and I got a handicap room on 2nd floor with a walk in shower..awesome spacing and everything perfect. The only bad is that the king size bed was too low to ground(very hard to get out of bed using my walker) and not high or lush/firm like your normal room beds. The king size bed was so old and lumpy that we didn’t sleep a wink all night. Hubby needs good sleep having to drive us 7 hours one way, the day before and then the next day. Very very uncomfortable bed. So please change out your king size beds in the handicap rooms on 2nd floor, to the normal comfortable king beds u hv in all ur other rooms. Before I was in a wheelchair I have stayed in many of your regular king size rooms. Come on.. this is the Hyatt. It’s not cheap priced either. The Bed was so bad it felt like a motel 6 bed and I have slept on a motel 6 bed better than this bed. 😢 that’s bad. Especially for Hyatt and the price we have to pay. Thank u for ur time

Im 50 minutes early and im charged $30 to check in 'early'. The pool looks horrible, the tv doesnt work right, remote control is broken. Would not recommend.

The breakfast was fresh and hot. Salsa great. Not enough variety, as far as gravy or bacon, and no fresh fruit. Room very warm and called to get checked or least a fan. Room checked but no fan. I almost never say anything negative but really not a good experience. Almost all of the staff was very good.

There were rowdy hockey teams staying at the hotel and they broke an elevator per the front staff. Very inconvenient. We asked for extra pillows and were told there were none. Our room had a bathroom door that was all chipped and broken on the bottom. Hotel seems tired and older.

Breakfast was excellent! The only complaint I had was the TV had few channels. The promo channel had an ad for the hotel with 2 guys kissing. Didn't need to see that at all. Also several of the channels on the TV did not work. No TV guide!

We have a toddler and we wanted the highest floor for lights. We got 3rd floor right across the elevator. It doesn't look like there are that many people here tonight so I don't understand why didn’t we get a higher level and better spot.

I went with my wife and kids for the weekend, Everything was fine , the rooms are big , area is safe the breakfast is good they have a bar in the lobby. The only thing we had an issue is because the plumbing sucks everytime we will take a shower we had to wait about 10 - 15 min after for the other to take a shower because the drain was so slow.

The room was nice and clean. The air conditioner was very loud and seemed to be malfunctioning.

I liked the room — it was clean, and the night view from the 6th floor was really nice. However, there were a few issues: there was no microwave, the curtain had a hole, and both the bathroom door and closet were broken and not working. Could use a bit of maintenance.

Then next, housekeeping services were at 12-4, which was weird. It seems like no matter what time we came back to the room, housekeeping was there. None of this was really problematic nor would it keep us from going back. It was just an odd time.

Very run down and out dated. Saw a huge cockroach roaming the halls. Very smelly like something was rotting.

I had an overall positive experience, but the TV and A/C were old and didn’t not perform as well as other similarly priced hotels I’ve recently stayed. For example, the local channels must use a digital antenna and the reception was not good…made some preferred channels unwatchable. The A/C also struggled to keep the room cool enough. I stayed in a similar sized Hilton hotel room within the past week and had its A/C set at 71 and was very comfortable; while I had to set the Hyatt A/C to 69 and still wasn’t not as comfortable… a wall thermostat my address the A/C issue.

Pretty standard. No safe in the rooms. Bathrooms are oddly built. The door opens barely missing the toilet because it’s small. Just keep pocket doors instead if space is such an issue. But no complaints with the stay at all. Breakfast is standard but ends at 9AM on weekdays so make sure you’re early.

Front desk was friendly and made us feel right at home immediately. Breakfast was amazing!! I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I found that might be improved was it took a long time for our room to cool down. Once it did it was fine. I would not let that deter me from staying here again! Great place, great people, and great location! Thanks to all!

Overall our stay was fine. The room was nice and very clean. It was also a very large room with a nice couch and sitting area. The room didn’t have a microwave and the refrigerator was on its way out I think. It wasn’t cold at all. I also wish there was a bit more storage. It didn’t have nightstands with drawers. Just three drawers in the bathroom sink area only. The hotel lobby area was really nice and the breakfast they served was really good and the staff was really nice.

Overall, a very pleasant stay. The only disappointment was the worker with red locks failed to keep the tables clean during breakfast on Saturday February 8th. She was sitting down and watching her phone. (I’m assuming this was her responsibility as I noticed other ladies on the front desk keeping that area clean on other days).

I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I had to have a place to stay for a doctor’s appointment. I was pleasantly surprised at the convenience of the location to where the doctor’s office was located. It was easy to find and parking was abundant. I was on the first floor and it was very quiet. The facilities looked nice and I had no issues. I did find a rather large (alive) water bug in my room, but we didn’t bother each other. I looked everywhere in the room and couldn’t find a microwave stashed anywhere, but I didn’t have anything to heat up, so it was fine. No knocked points there. I was happy with the stay and will definitely stay there again.

Property is a 3 star facility and overall evaluation for a three stat facility is excellent but good when compared to an excellent five star facility.

Nice property. The person checking us in was not very friendly. It appeared he was not particularly happy to be working that day.

I contacted hotels.com and they stated they would call the hotel to get them to refund. I prepaid Hotels.com $355.71 on the 10/06/24…now why would they hotel refund me and not the people that took my money. Hotels. com sent an email stating they were not able to get in touch with the hotel and I would NOT be getting a refund! Both parties have put the customer in the middle and have avoided any responsibility. Bottom line: I never received services, I paid for the services in good faith before hand and I DID not cancel! I was left to find and pay for another hotel for two nights at 9:30 at night! This is how they treat customers!!!!

Quick, easy check-in. Friendly staff. Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed. Noon check-out time is helpful as is breakfast service that lasts a bit longer than comparable hotels. Options for breakfast foods were somewhat limited, but sufficient.

We changed rooms 2 times in 4 days because there was no water, yes that’s right the water kept going off and we were told the maintenance man was off for the weekend and they would be calling a plumber on Monday - the day we checked out.

The staff was not friendly, that is all thank you.

The staff was friendly but the desk was unattended when we arrived for a for a solid 5-7 mins. Which is fine but it just seems more professional to have a friendly face greet guests as they walk in. Other than that, nice establishment.

They advertise a menu and hours that they are open so being pregnant and tired I wanted food but didn’t want to leave the hotel and both times I tried they weren’t open during the hours advertised that they are. Asked for more pillows and was told they only had one. Honestly the only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast.

This property is dated, but clean. The AC unit in my room was a window mounted unit that made a lot of noise. About half the staff was warm and friendly and the rest grumpy. The breakfast was good. The workout facility was poorly maintained. The pool was crowded and on the small side. The location is good.

Very clean facility and friendly staff. Only complaint would be the channel options with the cable. There was nothing at all for kids available. Outside of that, the stay was great.

Woke up very early to a giant cockroach in the bathroom! Everything else was good, but that tainted my experience. Also, the carpet looks very old needs replaced. Had it not been for those two things, it could have been 5 stars.

The property itself is in good shape but in the room many things need to be updated. AC was very noisy. Mattress was too soft. Bathroom size and height is very discomfiting. Breakfast time is very short.

Worst part is the breakfast. No varieties at all, very limited items. And the timings on weekdays is until 9 am. I mean why would you end breakfast at 9 am? We usually have breakfast until 10 or even 11 at times. Its like they dont care about their clients.
