Staff was helpful and the room was very clean

The hotel is ideally situated for shopping. The lobby is nice. We had paid for a corner room, an upgrade from the basic. The first room had no heat or hot water. After our second call and a trip to the front desk, our room was changed. In this room, if the hot water was allowed to run for 10 minutes, you could get a warm shower. If you turned the water off you had to restart the process. We left the room at 8:00 one morning and returned at 5:00. The room had still not been cleaned. After contacting the front desk and a half hour wait the room was cleaned. We were disappointed. As we were checking out we mentioned the difficulties to the front desk. They said because we booked through Expedia they could not adjust the bill, but they did award points in an effort to compensate for the rough spots. We accepted the points. If get a room with hot water you will be happy. Check the shower before you unpack.

First, the staff should be commended at this Marriott property. They were entirely superb throughout my entire stay, with particular standouts being Isaiah (front desk/club lounge), Sonia (room service), Matt (bell-stand) and Jack (restaurant/bar). The reason stars were withheld from the overall score was due to the unfortunate pipe break that created havoc. Issues arose from the flooding—loud noises late in the evening (as they vacuumed up the water right outside our rooms), an unpleasant musty odor following, no water availability (which necessitated our moving to another floor to a less-convenient room, and strange cloudy water in the taps for the rest of the stay). However, we were treated with such concern and hospitality, that i will not hesitate to return. I was not charged for one night on my second room, when two of my guests unexpectedly left early.

That said, it is with a heavy heart that I must report an appalling experience with your service during May 2-15, 2026. Although I don’t take writing negative reviews lightly, I feel compelled to convey to other consumers that your lack of compassion and customer service resulted in severe emotional distress to my 90 year old mother, a senior with health disabilities. I used your service to book a hotel room for a funeral. (see attached obituary) At 90 mom can still get around and she wanted to attend her 93 year old friend's funeral. We booked plane tickets on your site and hotel rooms and I spent quite a bit of money taking great pains to make my mother’s stay happy but this billing dispute ruined our entire trip. My mother who travels in a wheelchair needs assistance. I booked one hotel (Home2 Suites by Hilton) but learned a few hours later that it was farther from the funeral than expected. Within a few hours, I went back on your site and booked another hotel at a considerable additional expense. (The Legacy Renaissance in Plano TX) I tried to get the first hotel cancelled and credited back (it was only a few hours that I made the change) but was unable to do so. I tried calling the hotel directly to cancel the reservation which I did. I also cancelled on your website. ELDERS BEWARE!

The room wasn’t cleaned very well during our stay. We were not greeted properly upon first arriving and we never received a cart to bring our belongings up to the room. We ended up making 2 trips and taking them up by ourselves. The TV was horrible and would cut off every 2-3 minutes for 30 second intervals. The pillows had a smell to them. The manager was nice and gave us a discount. However, I don’t think I would come back considering the price after discount still wasn’t good considering the service. You had to really push and call multiple times when making a request for items, etc. The room was very noisy and we had to be moved to another room. Even then, there were a lot of slamming doors by other guests. Not an enjoyable experience.

Lobby, gym, and pool areas were nice, but the room was dirty, boogers on the wall, coffee pods still in the machine, mystery fluids on the lamp shade and bathroom walls, and I was double charged for parking, once on the card I had on file and I also had to pay to leave the garage (the exact same amount). After over 20 minutes on the phone with outsourced customer service, I just gave up.

Also, the toilet was running water, and I needed to manually stop it a few times. Other than that, my stay was great. The location is awesome. We stay here often for staycations and love it!

The thermostat was set at 70 but the room wasn’t very cool at bedtime. We turned it down to 68 and couldn’t tell a difference. Also, the front desk didn’t ask or explain how to leave the parking garage prior to our departure. Didn’t realize our room key was needed.

Room was clean,staff was very helpful. Food was good in all three restaurants. Only complaint was the street noise.

Check in was very pleasant and they had nice cold water waiting for us. Every staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Will definitely stay here again.

Seems like a great hotel, made a mistake and booked at the wrong location so wasn't able to stay and the front desk couldn't cancel my reservation so I was out what I spent and had to pay for another hotel. Not the hotels fault, but it would have been nice to get at least one night refunded.

Very clean room, friendly staff, speedy room service. A bit loud due to the area its in, even from the 6th floor.

Parking was not easy. Lots of people parking that were not staying at the hotel. No easy access into the hotel from the parking garage. Needs more amenities and dining options for the price of the room!

I like the location. You can walk out the hotel door to shopping and dining. Great restaurant selection depending on your price preference. Sometimes the hotel gets a little too busy on Saturday’s with special events but otherwise a great stay

We stayed here for our wedding night, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They even surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a sweet handwritten congratulations note such a thoughtful touch that truly made our night extra special.

Need EV chargers. And $400/night room and you charge for parking- no bueno!

My husband and I enjoyed a night away for a delayed Valentines celebration. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Our room was ready early which was very nice. The room was nicely appointed with a very clean bathroom. The location was great, close to all of the restaurants and shops. The only reason for leaving a 4 star is for the uncomfortable bed. It was just too firm to be comfortable. I realize it's a hotel and not my home, but I expect a better mattress at such a luxury hotel. I have experienced more comfortable mattresses at lower priced hotels. And while I love all of the extra thoughtful touches of a better hotel, I also love a good night's sleep.

I have been waiting for 40 minutes to get my car. I paid for valet service to get faster and convince, not for 40 minutes on slow day. I was wondering how you forgot to bring my car to the door? This is not fair to pay for the service but not getting it.

I visit this property a couple times a month and this will be my last stay. The Night Club next door in Legacy Shopping Center has ruined this property. It is SO LOUD until 3AM. The music is SO LOUD it can be heard over the TV & a sound machine.

The room itself was good, but the cleanliness was a little questionable because the robe in the closet lookes someone has used it and did not get washed.

Room was very comfortable, check in and check out was convenient, and customer service was excellent. Oma offered a nice buffet for breakfast. Inviting and relaxing atmosphere.

Dust was everywhere. I even took videos. There was knocking across the hall late night and it appears it was the staff elevators. Terrible room and poor experience.

Booked this room for my bday for me and my husband. Booked a corner room so we would have a soaking tub. Did not have that. The air was not working and it got really hot. We were super disappointed with the price we paid for this to happen.

Wifi didn't work in the room, We were suppose to have a microwave in the room when we got there but ended up having to run one down. The thermostat kept readjusting to 78 degrees. Had to deal with all of this with a baby as well.

The room was intimate, but spacious, had Texas character with an awesome bathroom. Beautiful lobby, lounge and restaurant. The pool area was nice, but a bit too small for holidays. Check in was pleasant and seamless. Great location! Wish we could have stayed longer for our 32nd anniversary!

We tried the Renaissance based on a recommendation. The staff took 20 minutes to check us in. Then when we got to our room the keys didn’t work. There was only 1 cup for coffee for 2 of us. We had to ask it to be replenished everyday. Lastly the shower had pink and black mold in the grout not feeling very clean at that point. So for 1/2 the rate I’ll stay down the street at a hotel that is better.

The staff and every employee there was outstanding. The property, the rooms, lounge, restaurant and club lounge were all excellent. Even the valet and shuttle bus driver were great. The team there seemed to love working there and everyone wanted us to have a wonderful time. This property stands out and I travel frequently.

Only downside to the stay was that it was noisy in the morning when the house keeper was cleaning around the rooms next to ours. The walls are thin and you can hear people walk in the hallway but other than that everything else was great.

I stayed one night and the bed in a corner end of hall room was AWFUL. Had surgery scheduled the next morning and did not sleep a bit. The room was almost $500 for that night and I asked for a partial refund and that did not occur. I am local in Frisco and would not stay here again. I will choose Omni next time.

the whiskey bar food was bad , order some wings they were cold and nasty . also my drink was incorrect ,when ordered . and the drink may have been a ounce.. it was ridiculous.... only holds this property back is that whiskey bar

The staff were great. The lobby was beautiful and check-in went quickly. Once in the room, I could tell it could’ve been cleaner. The carpet was covered with crumbs and dried mud. Lots of dust everywhere. Lots of scuff marks on furniture. The room was very quiet and that’s always my top priority.

I love the location and the convenience of the hotel. Will definitely be staying there again.

It’s my favorite hotel whenever I landed at plano

Like the Hotel and planning on returning. Our corner executive king suite had great views especially during a thunderstorm. The bed is very comfortable and the shower has wonderful water pressure. We wish we could have enjoyed the heated pool but it was a windy time. Daily room service was a little inconsistent and didn’t provide specific requests. And, we received a charge later in the day after check out without any explanation. That’s never fun.

My pillow had a blood stain and the bathroom tub and floor needed to be cleaned. Other than that, the rooms are nice and the staff was great. I loved the location. Easy to get to shopping and dining.

We’ve stayed here many times after staying at multiple other Hotels in the DFW area over the years. The location, proximity to shopping literally right outside the lobby, hospitality, on site dining, cleanliness, and staff make this an experience that’ll be hard to surpass in the foreseeable future.

Overall the hotel was consistent with expectations, but the carpet in the guest room was rippled, not particularly clean in appearance and needed replacing or restretching and cleaning.

I usually like staying at this location. But my stay was under par. Elevators were out during my stay. When I left on Sunday I had to take a service elevator down to the lobby. What an experience. No one seemed to be apologetic

It was what I expected- smart, nice, convenient.

Overall good clean room with nice appointments in a walkable area. I was disappointed there were no robes, nor did I receive one when I asked. The answer was they have a few floating around.

Upon checking in i spoke to the young lady at the desk, i just asked that we have a nice quiet room. This was all for my wife to relax. She assured me this was a quite room. Well it definitely was not quite they put us on the 4th floor and all we could here was the music from a near by restaurant and people shouting at each other as they came down the sidewalk. I spoke to the lady at check out at the front desk. Her first question, was how was the stay, i was very polite and said it was not the best. Iet her know how much noise was comin into the room. She started to play like she did not know about this and my wife looked at her she was like yeah the musice was coming from a restaurant on that side of the hotel.
