    They (upgraded) my room to a smelly full kitchen that was boxed in and stuffy. The A/C units worked poorly. The bed was like rocks just not what I expected from the reviews. When I asked about a change I was told they were sold out. Not one apology or compensation in any way. I definitely need a Doctor I'm leaving with sinuses flaring back hurting and fully irritated with a 5 hour drive home. I am truly disappointed and will be calling, emailing, and lodging a complaint with corporate.

    Overall not bad. A TV show was filming here during our stay, and we had no idea until we arrived. The staff did great work accommodating around the filming. However, the room seemed older and a bit run down. It was a bit musty in our room. Overall, it was a good stay, though.

    This was such a beautiful and well kept hotel. The amenities are great the only thing is I wish there was more INSIDE seating at the pool or an area for people to sit their belongings. Other than that, the room was clean and everything worked just fine. I even got to use a $15 credit at moxie that’s attached to the hotel. I definitely will be returning.

    The hotel was very clean and very nice! We were able to use the hot tub and gym inside the hotel. The only complaint I have was a getting woken up early from construction they were doing right outside of our window. Super nice stay and would definitely stay again!

    Now the room temperature wise it wasn’t good took forever for the ac unit to even kick on, and it was so claustrophobic almost checked out but because it was only one night we managed it. Would we return no not the best experience, but good front guy staff though. Didn’t like that the girl staff was arguing on the phone and rolling her eyes at a client, not the best impression.

    The biggest issue I had is that I dropped something out of my bag while I was still inside the room and once I realized it was missing, approximately 20 minutes later, I called the hotel only to be told that I needed to go to a website where I would be able to search through things found to see if my item was there. I registered with the website he directed me to but you are not able to view things, it's just a reporting system. Even though I had not been gone long when I realized my medication was missing, the front desk told me it had not been turned in. Due to the type of medication it was, I had to report it to the police. So I imagine it wasn't turned in but kept by a dishonest housekeeper/staff. I'd like to say I would stay again but probably not.

    This was my 3rd time staying at this hotel because the location is absolutely prime, and I have always loved it here in the past. Unfortunately, my most recent stay last week left me incredibly shaken. Management assigned us a room with a broken lock on the sliding patio door. I woke up to a parent's worst nightmare: my toddlers (who are almost 3 and under 2 years old) had managed to open the sliding door on their own because the latch wouldn't secure properly. While I regret not inspecting the door immediately upon check-in, a hotel should never assign a room with a compromised safety latch. High-rise windows and doors need to be fully functional and secure. I brought this serious safety hazard to the front desk's attention during checkout, but unfortunately, absolutely no one from management has reached out to me since. On a positive note, we absolutely love the Moxies restaurant located here, and we will definitely be back to eat there again. However, when it comes to staying overnight, safety and guest communication have to come first. I truly hope management thoroughly inspects and repairs these locks immediately so no other family has to experience that kind of scare.

    Location. I did not feel it was on par. Bathroom wall was stained. Found a few leftovers on the carpet from prior person. Room at the end of the long hall on the top top floor. No breakfast included. Then I paid an upgrade of $40 for early check in. It was one hour early and they charged me tax on the $40!

    I had breakfast at the Moxie which is an attached restaurant. It was a good breakfast and nice surroundings, but not complimentary. My recommendation would be that hotel guests should get some form of discount. I have stayed at this hotel probably a dozen times and their systems provide little loyalty rewards. The fact that booking.com reservations do not carry over any requests and thus the one thing I asked for (not to be next to an elevator) was where I was placed. They were not able to move me even though the hotel was not fully occupied. Regardless, it was a nice stay.

    One of the major issues was the presentation of the food. It was served in hot warmers, which made it appear as if the food had been sitting there since breakfast began at 6 am. To improve the experience, they should consider offering omelets made to order and providing more toppings for waffles and other items.

    Modern, easy to check in, clean. Rooms. The blackout curtains do not keep light from blasting through the edges of the windows and the air conditioning unit is placed right up against the side of the desk causing it to short cycle every minute or two.

    It wasn’t unnecessarily UNCLEAN but we did have a spider in our bathroom and after doing some research, it ended up being a brown recluse! We killed it and took it to the front desk to show them and I think their response was a little disappointing because of the severity of the type of spider was., they said that they would let me manager or someone higher up than the lady behind the desk, and they will get back to us. That was the first night. We checked out two days later and I had heard nothing from anyone. We brought it back up to a different staff member that was there when we checked out, and they replied to the same thing. But was nice enough to give us a very small discount, which is not what we were looking for. I thought they would at least offer to change our room come to find out they did not have the room we had purchased available. So if we would have switched rooms, it would be a downgrade. Which honestly the Lives of my husband, solving my children are worth a downgrade to know, and be comfortable that there was no brown recluse spiders in our room. They didn’t seem to know the severity of what we had found, and I explained it to the lady behind the desk and she was shocked. As we do appreciate the small discount we just wanted to be shown that someone cared about our children and how deadly those spiders are. Other than being on guard every time we unfolded a towel or sat anywhere honestly, the property was amazing and perfect for our trip!

    Clean room, safe area, parking, excess to local attractions and highway. WiFi was available. The pool was a little overcrowded. Shay at the front desk was non empathetic when asking her questions and voicing a small concern about breakfast at Moxies. Treated us like we didn’t belong but all other staff was excellent. We asked Shay about the breakfast and assumed we would get a voucher but told us we needed to pay the $18 in a rather COLD attitude.

    The curtains are not blackout curtains and don’t hang close to the wall so a lot of light comes into the room. The shower tub leaked so every shower resulted in large puddles on the floor the spread to carpet in main room. Heating was noisy like a pair of shoes in a dryer Plumbing was noisy, every time someone flushed the toilet in the room above me it sounded like the water was inches away I’ve stayed here before and didn’t have any of these issues, so probably room specific, ask for a room away from Moxies

    Room was cleanish - the carpet does run right to the bathroom so it soaks up a lot of the shower water unfortunately, which leaves the carpets a gross color/grimy feeling. The pool has extremely limited space, looks murky, and the hot tub is kept warm but not hot. The hotel lobby is very clean. The bed was very comfortable and pillows are nice! Bathroom is beautiful and spacious.

    Had to wait for another staff member to check us in because the one on duty was on the phone. Then the door to our first room wouldn’t lock so we had to move to another room that the ac unit didn’t work well in. And someone defecated in the pool, so that entire area was closed for the evening. Also unable to reach staff on the phone.

    Gave us top floor. The hot tub was amazing. Staff very friendly. Nice restaurants at either end of hotel. We had no issues with noisy neighbors. Very clean rooms. The only thing I thought missing is there is no breakfast offered. We went to IHOP a mile away so no big deal but this property could upgrade the experience by offering a buffet breakfast or even a breakfast service.

    Secondly, when we arrived there were kids who were louder than I've ever heard in the pool and jacuzzi. The man working the front desk stated that they had already had noise complaints about them and already spoken to them. It was so loud that 3 teenage/early 20's girls were standing outside the door and would not go in because kids were running around, swinging hockey sticks, yelling, jumping in the pool, jumping in the jacuzzi and no one at Sandman seemed to care and get the situation under control. At 2230, I complained to the front desk again about the noise and that me and my wife, we got married on Valentines Day, wanted to enjoy the jacuzzi. We were told that they had spoken to them. The situation wasn't under control. At 2255 I went down to the pool and jacuzzi and entered. The kids were gone. However, there was only 5 minutes left to enjoy the jacuzzi. I spoke to Misty, the front desk manager, and told her that we were not able to enjoy the jacuzzi on our wedding night because they had not gotten the kids under control. She just said sorry. I told her "closing time is 2300 so you'd better go down and kick the last couple out of the jacuzzi. I checked a few moments later and saw Misty leaving the pool area. I popped in, with my room key, to take pictures of the signs. The signs stated that the pool/jacuzzi closes at

    We were put in a room right beside the night club. I called and complained about the incredibly loud music and yelling but we were just told they are open until /a nothing else was done. The next morning I went to the front desk to complain and the man said oh sorry, we try to not put anyone in that room. When my husband and I were trying to have a relaxing date night, we don’t sleep at all due to the noise. It was such a TERRIBLE stay…probably the wish we have ever had!

    The staff and facilities are very good. Very helpful receptionists. Only a couple of things - we felt the breakfast buffet could have had a few more items for the price. Also, the room had a smoke detector that flashed an annoying bright light but we fixed it by putting a piece of black electrical tape over it.

    The thermostat is either on a timer or motion detected so the room was uncomfortably warm when I'd get back from long days staying with family in the hospital. There was no option to keep the fan running on low without AC or Heat so the room would get stagnant during the night, disrupting the precious few hours of rest allowed

    Hotel was nice. Pool great. Hot tub not so hot. Great location. Loved that you need a key to access the room. Recieve a $15 voucher for booking through Expedia. That was nice. Room had a lot of space. Shower was nice and hot. I made a request for towels and was told 20min wait. I had to call 5 times to get an answer. Over an hour later called 3 times finally got someone to answer again. Asked about the towels and I believe they forgot so I just said nevermind. It was late around 11pm, so I’m not going to lower the stars. However it is a hotel so a service like towels should be 24hrs. Only reason I didn’t walk downstairs is because I had young children.

    Staff unfriendly, hotel lobby dirty, guest room was decent but had things broken, water on carpet next to shower. Next morning, hotel coffee bar area was dirty with the trash overflowing with staff members around not doing anything about it. Coffee machine needed to be cleaned because the coffee had trouble coming out of the machine because it was clogged up. Needless to say I did not drink the coffee.

    The receptionists was very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff was great & very seen! The rooms were fresh and clean. Robes in the closet were a pleasure to enjoy after a relaxing bath.     The hotel was great the only issue we had which was really disappointing was the hot tub was not hot but luke warm. When this was brought to the attention of the front staff they said nothing can be done since maintenance has gone home for the night. We had the same issue with the water in the room it had no pressure and would not heat up. Besides this everything else was great.

    Front desk attendant was working by herself when we checked in at 11PM on Friday, 11/7/25, She was pleasant, professional, and very friendly. When we checked out at 9am the next day, she was still there working with a smile on her face. If anyone deserves a raise or promotion, it’s her. (Didn’t catch her name) but she was the best.

    Nice room layout, clean. Nice amenities - indoor pool and workout room. Breakfast was definitely not worth 18$ charge though admittedly we showed up at the last half hour of breakfast. Not any better than standard hotel continental breakfast. The make it yourself waffles tasted sour and coffee carafe was empty and no one offered fresh coffee when this was brought to staff attention.

    Stay was great, only issue was the room service. The lady kept knocking on our door even when we had the "do not disturb" on the door. We were trying to get an early start and check out and head back home, but was still going in and out of the room around 9 am. The lady would not leave us alone. Felt very uncomfortable. Told her at the elevator that we were still in the room just packing up. Put our luggage in the car and came back up to the room and she was knocking on our door again. I guess she wanted us out. Mind you, this was all before 10am.

Had to wait in line behind new guests checking in because there was only one person working- ever. Nice hotel, but I will not be back.     Very disappointing experience. I confirmed my reservation with the hotel a day before, and they even approved my request for a lower floor. However, just two hours before check-in, the hotel canceled my booking without notice. It was during an important holiday for us, and the staff made no effort to help. Expedia still showed my reservation as active, which made the situation even more frustrating. Poor service and very unpleasant experience.

    Rooms have everything you need. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Greeted from front desk and smoorh and quick check in. Great appetizers at Moxie's Bar n Restaurant attached to Hotel. I highly recommend staying here when in the area. Shopping n many Restaurants close by.

    Stayed 1 night. No smart TV ut we had 2 tvs in the room. Also a kitchenette. Having the Moxie's downstairs was nice too.

    We love staying at this hotel but we’ve had problems with the restroom doors not closing. We’ve stayed here twice in the past two weeks and both times the restroom doors are hard to close. Also when we arrived there was a long line of people to be checked in and there was only one person working the front. Took a while to be checked in and get up to our room. They should have more than one person checking in people at the check in times. When we left there was no one at the front so we just dropped off our keys.

    There were multiple hairs on the bed sheets, hairs on multiple towels plus stains, and the $15 breakfast buffet was the same crap as every crap hotel ever, it's all crap. They did send someone quickly to change the sheets. I expected much, much better for the price and Legacy location.

    But I genuinely missed staying there and the amazing staff and amenities, so I gave it another shot this weekend for a staycation….and my faith in The Sandman has been restored! I had the most wonderful stay! It was PEACEFUL, which was one of the reasons I initially fell in love with The Sandman Hotel. My room was clean and perfectly located. It was quiet and absolutely sublime! I now feel confident to return as a regular!

    Our stay was outstanding! It was my wife's birthday weekend and Katherine at the front desk went above and beyond to make it memorable! She upgraded us to a beautiful suite with a fantastic view which my wife loved.On top of that she gave us complimentary breakfast for 2 at Moxies which we enjoyed! I was in the hotel business for 20 years and this type of experience is what keeps us coming back to this location time and time again!

    This is a really nice hotel! All of the staff are extremely nice, the rooms are very clean with nice amenities, and it’s right next to all kinds of great food. The only strange thing was that our room was very humid. Almost like it stayed wet the entire time we were there and that made us a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it’s because we were on the highest floor? We also didn’t have a breakfast voucher and without it, breakfast is $18 per person. For that much i expected a big buffet but it’s just a normal small continental breakfast. Not worth it without the voucher though everything tasted good. Overall, I think this is a very nice place to stay! Quiet and safe. Next time maybe we’ll pick a room closer to ground level.

    I would definitely stay here again. Hot tub was 10 out of 10. Beautiful young ladies working the front. Patient and polite men helping out! Spanish speaking housekeepers do great, Despite the language barrier! Labor day weekend was busy but lotsssss of friendly people! Kid,family friendly hotel!     Also, the noise. Awful with this many guest. We heard EVERYONE walking past our door. Front Desk could have at least reminded guest checking in to be mindful of noise because of other guest. Wanted to try something different... but will stick to the luxury branded hotel chains.

    Almost memorable part of the day will be Kenneisha from the check-in on Thursday just so sweet very kind girl. Everyone else is OK not as friendly but OK not rude. No one was rude. I will say that, but Kenisha just was above and beyond even though she checked us in on Thursday, that's who I remember more the crew that had to check us in Friday, so Kenneisha should leave the Customer Service training in my opinion

    Customer Service excellent from check in to check out. Only complaint breakfast. Toaster and waffle maker did not work. Breakfast could of had more choices, for being an upscale hotel. We were upgraded to a room, VIP status with Hotels.com, however only breakfast for 1 not 2.

    I can’t believe that was my first time hearing about and staying at this place. The location makes everything so convincingly convenient, diners and shopping centers only a few minutes away. Room was so clean and organized. Not too much noise from where our room was. We loved every second of our stay! We’ll probably book again when there’s another occasion.

    Excellent location and rates. The room was quite dark, likely due to the choice of Charcoal carpet. There was not enough light in the area around the coffee machine. The coffee was horrible. However, the restaurant (Moxie) is amazing with great service. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The staff was super nice and accommodating.

    The hotel was nice but our room was not. We had stains on the wall. It looked like coffee stains. The curtains would not open so our room was pretty dark. The bathroom had some areas that needed work as far as needing to be cleaned. At the bottom of the bathroom door it had a large brown stain across the bottom. The wallpaper was coming off in the bathroom. In the room the walls looked like they had holes and they were trying to patch the holes up but pretty obvious that it was a hole there. We called and notified the front desk and Alex was extremely nice and ready to relocate us but the hotel was packed and they did not have available rooms. They offered to move us the following day. We had a packed schedule on Saturday so we did not push the move. They cleaned/refreshed the room Saturday when we were out so we just remained in the same room. I was pretty disappointed because I had heard really good things about this hotel. Not sure we would stay here again.

    It has been five years since I stayed at this property. We had an excellent experience once again. The staff at the front desk and shuttle drivers were all friendly and welcoming. It is a great value and very conveniently located to most everything in the Plano area.

    Nothing like the pictures, room was not very clean. Our iron was covered with sticky substance and the ironing boards were all broken. We were very excited to stay there and truly disappointed by the whole experience. The only plus was the staff at Moxie our first evening
