This was not a planned stay, but very greatly appreciated when I needed it. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

Floor needed to be swepted better. We were only there for a night. So, we didn't use much of anything in the room besides the fridge, bathroom & beds.

The hotel didn’t honor the reservation. I drove 30 minutes to get to the location after booking and paying online for the late check-in. When I arrived, the front desk was closed. I had to continue to call the customer service number to finally get someone to answer. The woman on the phone said if I booked after 10:00pm, then they were already at full capacity and would not have a room for me. I advised I already paid through Booking. She said I would be refunded through my third party later, it was not her job. That left me stranded to find another hotel while my money was stuck with this transaction. Unacceptable.

Loved having small kitchen with regular size fridge, but there were no kleenexes or a hairdryer in the room which is odd for a hotel to not have as a courtesy. The room was clean and easy to get to from the highway.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to request a partial refund regarding my recent stay at WoodSpring Suites Dallas Plano Central Legacy Drive. During my stay, the elevator was out of order, requiring me to use the stairs to reach my room on the fourth floor. This was particularly difficult as I was traveling with my mother, for whom I provide care. Additionally, there was significant noise coming from neighboring rooms. Although I filed a formal complaint during my stay, these issues were not resolved. Given these inconveniences, I would like to discuss a partial refund for my booking. I look forward to your prompt response. Best regards, Tatiana Jones

It was close to the highway There was hairs all on every linen in the room, floors hadnt been swept, smelled like old food and mildew, went and bought car fresheners to put on the ac vent, the kids in the room next door were screaming and banging loud on the walls until about 11pm and woke up at 7am the very next day. The decaf coffee machine is broken. The elevator smells terrible. There’s no staff after 10pm.

Nice hotel in a somewhat sketchy part of town. But very close to all your favorite resteraunts and everything Dalla has to offer. The hotel was fine. Room was small but nice. Had all your kitchen needs. The WiFi wasn't working during the day time which was upsetting but at night it got better. Had a fine time.
- 2/5
Rooms were not properly cleaned. Walls were dirty. As I was brushing my teeth I noticed dried blood on the bathroom walls and a few dead roaches. Actually care about the rooms you are selling. Hire staff that actually wants to work.

On February 8th, I left briefly to buy items to celebrate the Super Bowl and a birthday. When I returned, every single one of my belongings was gone. Nothing was left in the room. I immediately contacted the police and the front desk. I later learned the hotel system had mistakenly marked my room as vacant, and housekeeping threw away all of my possessions. The general manager admitted this was their error, yet I was told it could take weeks — if not longer — to resolve. I’ve only been refunded for the room, but the value of my lost items exceeds $800, which is nowhere near justified compensation. This ruined what was supposed to be a special day, and I’ve never experienced anything like this in all my years of staying in hotels. I am writing this in hopes management will correct this issue and fully compensate me. While they’ve acknowledged fault, I’m sharing this to seek accountability and warn others. No guest should ever have their belongings discarded due to a hotel’s mistake. I strongly advise avoiding this location. If choosing WoodSpring Suites, the McKinney location offers far better service and experience.

The outside was clean and located in a good area. The inside of the hotel room was old and nasty . The curtains had black mold and mildew all over it and in the window as well . The cabinets were old and nasty like roaches lived there before me they need to remodel . Also the most important is the whole building stinks like old food and smoke And sex please please don’t bring children or dogs .
- 1.5/5
The room smelled like burnt cigarettes. The shower was slimy. Beds were squeaky and not comfortable. AC barely worked.
- 0.5/5
Elevator broken, room on 4th floor. Stayed a week. Hotel smells like air freshener dog throughout building! Never again
- 2.5/5
I liked the convenient location and the front desk lady was super friendly and awesome. I also liked the price since it is half the price of a holiday inn. There was weird smell in the elevator and sometimes in the room. There was also no carpet in the rooms....just laminate flooring which was fine but it gave it a strange feel. The fridge was an added bonus we could put drinks in.

Location was great Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Incident in Room 336 Dear Corporate/Management, I am writing to formally express my severe concern and disappointment regarding an incident that occurred in Room 336 involving the black female manager and a black female housekeeper team hell from the third floor. They entered my room abruptly, assuming that my 19-year-old daughter was underage, and proceeded to yell at and harass my family and children. Their behavior was aggressive and unprofessional, causing significant distress to my family. Due to their actions, my entire family felt unsafe and had no choice but to leave the premises. Additionally, they threatened to call the police, further escalating the situation. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and expect appropriate action to be taken to address this matter. Our family deserves respectful treatment and safety during our stay. I have be overcharged and overwhelmed for my stays After I have been to checked out of my reservation they're are still trying to charge my credit card. I'm requesting a refund and for pain and suffering $1,500. Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and inform me of the steps you will take to ensure this does not happen again. Just the location. A lot of false advertising with this place. There was no free breakfast, no wifi as advertised. The elevator was broken on the day we were moving out. There was someone else's hair all over the bed.The bed linens were not clean, curtains were dusty. The dish washer was not working. There was a horrible stench in the room and hallways. The elevator was smoking and had a funny smell on the first day we were there and on the second day it was not working. You would think with the elevator not working the staff would help with check out and carrying guests luggage down the stairs but they didn't. This place is not worth a dollar, take your money somewhere else.

- 5/5
No complaints clean and nice and quiet at night
- 1/5
They tell you to go drop your trash in a dumpster by YOURSELF. If will have to pay if you want them to take it for you. If you need extra towels or linen or bedspread, you will have to pick them up yourself. Lastly, their operation hour is between 9am - 10pm. If you need any service prior 9am or after 10pm, there would be nobody to attend to you. Intending guests, please beware. There are so many nice hotels near them. Hotels.com you need to do a better job in protecting guests that trusted you by booking from your site. Please check your contracts with these hotels whereby guests can check out with full refund if they dont sleep in the hotel. Customer service is key. Stand up for your guests not what you get from hotels.

I do love staying at this place. It was my second time there. I just wanted to bring my tortoise with me. 😭
- 5/5
Very good service
- 3/5
Had to remove the waterproof mattress cover because I couldn't sleep! Noisy in the room above and had to call the front desk to ask them to call the room above to quiet down.

- 2/5
The lift was out of service, and there was constant noise from the vent, which made it difficult to sleep. There was also no one at the front desk when I arrived to check in. I chose this place because it was affordable—now I understand why.
- 2/5
we had arrived very late; and when we checked in someone was able to help us. Other than that we got a refund because the next day we discovered that our bed had a huge pee stain on it.
- 2/5
Weird smell
- 1/5
We stayed at this hotel because our previous hotel sold our room. So this was a very last minute option. Walking into the lobby it smells like months old chewed up bubblegum, which was very off-putting. The elevator was rickety, smelled like vomit , pesticide , and melted crayons. And actually broke down the 2nd day of our stay. The room was not much better. It reeked of stale hot dog water, and wet dog. I still do not understand how you can have people checking in every day, but housekeeping only comes once every 2 weeks.
- 2/5
Elevator did t work and the water pressure wasn't good
- 3/5

- 1/5
To make things worse, on the second night before checkout, I got locked out of my room in the middle of the night, and the hotel staff was unhelpful and slow to resolve the issue. For the price I paid, I expected far better service. I’ve stayed at hotels for half the price with way more accommodations and better hospitality. The staff seemed indifferent, and the overall experience was frustrating. Definitely not worth the money. I won’t be staying here again.
- 5/5
Clean and plenty of space with full kitchen. Wished they had 4 pillows instead of just 3 to make the comfort rating 5 stars.
- 1/5
These were the thinnest walls in any hotel / motel I’ve been. You can almost overhear full conversations from the adjacent rooms. The elevator was broken, but the front desk girl did warn us ahead of time. She was sweet and helpful, but the rooms were just way too loud.
- 3/5
A hotel where you can just stay for a day or so
- 1/5
Please don't stay here, it's dirty and smells bad.
- 4/5
The elevator didn’t work
- 3/5
On the positive side there are no weight limitations on dogs, it was quiet, ample area for pets to relieve themselves. Large size frig and microwave and dishwasher. Plenty of room for storage.
- 1/5
Police were outside the property due to criminal incident. The reception area was filled with questionable characters and an unprofessional front desk clerk. Elevator was broken and I was told to use the stairs to get to my room. The stairwell landing was filled with human and dog urine, no lighting to see where I was going and people hanging out in the hallways and stairwells. I felt very unsafe and literally handed the front desk my key card and left. No one cared. This place felt like section 8 housing and shouldn’t position itself as a “hotel”.
- 1/5
Unfortunately, the our room were cockroaches infested every where in this room and the beds too. My wife and I left the room asap. I went back to Ryan and told him of the issue / concern. Also, we're seniors and had to walk to the third floor by the stairways due to their elevator was out of order. I would like Expedia to refund me. Very disappointed almost guests. TX
- 3/5
Loud and fights. Elevator got stuck with 3 kids on there. Police came due to noise and fighting twice
- 3/5
The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was chaos. Dogs barking, loud music, children screaming. We checked in and went to a family function and upon returning, there was four police cars. Two women were fighting and we were told that one of them pulled a knife on the other. At 10:30 PM there was a child, about 9 or 10 years old roaming about with a basketball. People were just wandering around the hotel , some guests were just loitering outside having a smoke. Our room was slightly decent but clean. There was only two thin sheets on the bed two small pillows. There were not enough towels, a set of hand towels would have been nice. There was a decent kitchen but a roll of paper towels would have been good to have there. Only one night table and no chair to sit down on other than the chair at the small desk. Upon checking out there was no one at the front desk and when we dialed 500 per the instructions at the door, there was no answer. There was a handy of some sort(could have been a guest) that did not speak English and gestured for me to leave the key under the window at the front desk. I found out that this hotel allows people to rent weekly or monthly. I know that many hotels offer this service but there should be a level of better quality control for those that are staying short term. I did not expect hear mariachi music and Beat It by Michael Jackson played loudly on my hotel room floor. I guess you get what you pay for! Chaos!

We came in to check in. And they didn’t have a room for us. The “worker” who just happened to be high or drunk in the lobby told us that she didn’t expect us to be showing up because we showed up late so she decided to give our room away. She stated that the only room she had available was stinky. I have actual video of this whole conversation because I was in shock. Not only was she in some type of drugs but she was so unprofessional. Don’t book here
- 2/5
I booked my stay online, but when I called to confirm check in time, the employee informed me the office was closed. She did not understand why the payment was taken when the front desk was closed for check in. Luckily she came to the hotel to process my check in. Upon arrival, i met another guest with the same issue...had it not been for this employee, my family would have been stuck outside on Thanksgiving day. I did not have enough money to book another hotel

Overcharge for linens that were not requested or changed

- 5/5
The room was tore up from whoever stayed in it before. The elevator smells like dog poop. Everyone there is loud. The only good thing I can say is that I was able to spend time with the love of my life. Just wish we could’ve had a cleaner experience while we stayed there.
- 5/5
The room was for my two adult sons and before I could even get back home they were calling me and saying bring back roach spray because there was roaches in the refrigerator. Alive roaches!!! Very nasty. The other hotel in Plano is much cleaner and the staff is very friendly. I will go back to that one but not this one.
- 3/5
Great price but you get what you pay for. Definitley not what you expect from Plano or Allen image. Please do better. My stay in other Woodsprings was definitely much better.

Upon entering the hotel, overwhelming smell of cigarettes follows you in. Check-in is very complicated no diligence entire hotel, including elevator, and hotel room is smelly there were roaches and gnats in my room. The bed was minimal comfort no comfort upon asking for extra pillow or blanket I was told no. No breakfast served. No body soaps must provide your own shampoo conditioner body soap only allowed two towels. Staff will wake you up at eight in the morning with a phone call asking if you’re staying then will proceed to knock on your door before 11 o’clock. Check out and come in without warning. My husband was in the bathroom and got walked in on at 9:56 AM then worker claimed he did nothing wrong because he was doing his job coming in unannounced although it was before 11 o’clock unpleasant experience.
- 3/5
I booked it for the "studio" feature. The kitchen was OK - no in-room coffee maker and no toaster. Description said FULL KITCHEN! No ice available except using freezer ice trays. I arrived at 730pm and my room WAS NOT READY because they were going to replace a TV that got ripped off the wall??? The new TV was apparently cracked out of the box, so I ended up with a propped-up TV. BUT.... I will say your front desk staff was PHENOMINAL! Super friendly/accommodating. They made the downfalls a bit better!
- 1/5
Was attacked by bed bugs. Clearly not very clean.
- 2/5
For the price I paid may not seem that bad. But we had no bathroom door and toilet only worked if you manually filled up tank. There were young kids playing unattended outside our door very loudly. People smoking right in the doorway. I was offered a sheet as a door, one gentleman did offer a discount but a woman working there said I had already paid. Again you get what you pay for
- 1/5
The room was not what was shown in the description everything about it. The bed was not a queen size. It was a double the restroom was dirty. Entire room was dirty. And smelled very bad I tried the o get a refund and they were closed at the front office please refund my money back thanks.
- 2/5
They advertise that they have full kitchen but when I got there this is no pots no pans no utensils I booked for the soul purpose for the kitchen and can’t even use it and they say they are doing away with it! They wouldn’t even refund my money!

The property smells bad, poor condition, no pillows, TV etc in the first unit that was given to us. Had to change it later. Very rude communication
- 5/5
Front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful. Thank you for a pleasant stay!
- 2/5
Super uncomfortable setting with little space in lobby. My TV didn’t work and I wasn’t going to call the desk clerk who was rude to another customer at time of check it. Just really bad overall experience compared to the other hotels in the area for that price.
- 1/5
Confirm there is no cancellation fee with Expedia. We had to book on our own elsewhere
- 4/5
Nice room but very loud community. Lots of dogs barking all times of day and night. People smoking 10 feet from the main entrance. Lots of children wondering around without their parents.
- 3/5
My family and I have stayed in many hotels before, and we decided to book this for the price and location. However, not what we expected at all! People actually live & cook in this hotel, so the smell is not very pleasant. It wasn’t the cleanest, and its first hotel we stay at where front desk closes.
- 1/5
HORRIBLE front desk staff, fishy smell everywhere throughout the building, beds are uncomfortable, our front door didn’t even lock and we asked to get it fixed and they told us that we had to wait until maintenance came
- 1/5
Our experience at WoodSpring Suites was far from satisfactory. The front desk staff were notably rude, impacting not just our stay but also how they interacted with others. Concerningly, our room had what looked like black mold in the shower, posing a health risk. Another issue was the limited service hours of the front desk, closing at 10 PM, which could be inconvenient for late-night needs. The checkout process was also marred by unprofessional staff comments. Given these experiences, the price for staying at WoodSpring Suites is unjustifiably high. It would need to be substantially lower to reflect the quality of service and accommodation provided. I regret to say that I cannot recommend this hotel. Guests would be better served considering other options.

YoEncanto Súper cómodo
- 4/5
Cheryl, Sharon and Regina are so welcoming and accommodating! They really take care of the guests.
- 4/5
It was a nice but short stay. Only thing that wasn’t fun is they had problems with the key card getting in so I had to call someone to let me into my room
- 2/5
I would never go again for several reasons. First the entrance was covered with a wooden cover. I also only saw the entrance office open only one time. Me and another family entering waited for about 20 minutes to get a person to get the room and card key. On the floor, there were dog POOP in two places on that level. The carpet was so dirty and stained. Other people had dogs and heard them barking so much. The floor in the room was very sticky. No hairblower. Very hard bed with barely any covers. We should have left, but again the entrance was closed and I probably would not get the money back because I got it through Hotels, not the WoodSprings.
- 2/5
The paint is chipped off and there was nail polish in the sink. The room smelled gross, and outside smelled like weed. Again, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

I was given a new contact, Blake who is the Regional Manager but that number has been going straight to voice for a week now. I contacted Choice Hotels Corporate office and they have assigned me a case number and are investigating. It is Oct 25th and I still do not have my refund.

Once in the room, I killed all the flies it wasn’t so bad. Never again save a few dollars note to self stay in a better motel get rid of the riffraff.

In both the hallway and the room, there was a strong smell of cannabis, and the room's floor was also greasy. Initially, we booked a five-night stay at this place with good reviews, but we decided to check out after just the first night. However, it's worth noting that since we had already stayed for one night, we might not be eligible for a refund for the remaining four nights.

It has nothing to do with the money but the hotel canceled my reservation I had a very important event to attend to with no other place to stay They had all my information and still canceled my stay I will never be back here again

Never checked in. Elevator was broken. The key machine was broken. I would have had toclimb to 4th floor and a hotel staff member would have had to let me in. Ridiculous. I moved to a different hotel that was functional. Could not recommend using a different hotel more.

Room was filthy, and no other room available. Reservation made a week in advance. The smell of the place was awful.

The people at the front counter would not come to check me in, so I did not get to stay at the hotel, and then they kept my money and would not refund it

Will never stay there again

We received a phone call from the front desk about noise complaint, we wasn’t making noise at all the way the attendant speak was too rude, other rooms have dogs barking like crazy, also when we first open the room it was smelling like someone was smoking weed in there my rating on this hotel is 4 of 10

Arriving close to midnight from New Zealand they had no record of my reservation and made no effort to assist me further.

Room was stinking. Had to spray perfume repeatedly. No carpet. House keeping was extra $25.

Didn’t like the fact that some of the guest were being loud and cursing in the hallway early in the morning.

Our 5day stay was perfect. The rooms were really clean. No issues whatsoever. The staff was exceptionally helpful. I was recovering from surgery & the staff made sure all was well. Ex. I had difficulty walking & luckily they had a walker on hand. Neither my husband or myself had thought I needed one. But yes I truly did need it. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Tried to charge me extra for fresh linens, charge my debit card $33 but couldn't tell me why so had to dispute the charges with bank. After I took a shower the floor was so Slippery and dirty that when I would put my socks on my feet after I showered were black from the floor, it was disgusting. They also refused to give me a refund for the remaining days I wanted to check out and go to another hotel. So I was forced to stay there because I wasn't able to get my money back. Very disappointed with everything from this whole stay.

Property and rooms ok, but the little roaches come out at night. Overall the stay was ok. Good luck

Very disappointed with this hotel. The room appeared clean but had a smell that lasted the whole week. There is no coffee pot in room and out of 7 days the lobby had coffee 3 days. The halls and elevator lobbies were not cleaned or vacuumed while we stayed there. Some rooms had 8 people staying there. Nice staff but poor management.

Check in was fine. Floors in room appeared not cleaned.

The staff goes above and beyond! The rooms are clean and efficient. Only critique is upgrade the pots for usage, they were outdated and not enough pots they only supply one. Other than that great stay!

I have always stayed there, but this time was a bit disappointing as the room was not clean and I had to wait about 30 mins for someone to come and check me in

Not sure if it was Expedia or the Hotel’s miscommunication but my three rooms that were confirmed were not received upon arrival. I was told their was no confirmation. With Expedia, I was confirmed to have had three rooms - two queen beds. Upon arrival I was told it was booked and had no other option but to received two rooms - one king bed and one room - two queens for six people. Meaning 4 of us had to share beds (we came for a work conference). Not sure if we will be booking with Expedia in the future or the hotel itself. Thank you.

Other guest on the upper floor with the banging on the floors and moving around, made the stay horrible was so loud we couldn't sleep all the way to the wee hours in the morning, bed and pillow very uncomfortable definitely not worth the price.

I felt comfortable except at check in the first attendant was not willing to take my money. She was too eager to get off her shift that she left me waiting till the next attendant. The gentleman that helped me went out of his way to assist in getting my registration processed.
